  ‘Oh…’ replied Chaise, ‘She did?’

Julie blushed at the authoritative of Chaise’s voice.

‘And what, pray tell, did Julie say to you?’

‘Oh, I didn’t mean to pry Chaise,’ said Cheryl. ‘I mean, if it’s something you want to keep confidential…?’

Chaise chuckled and comforted her by grasping her shoulder. ‘That’s fine, Cheryl, it’s just a typical Italian-American family business.’

Cheryl’s face froze as she tried to comprehend what Chaise said before he burst out with laughter. It was an old joke, but the effect never ceased to amuse him. He was about to continue to explain when he caught sight of his brother on the phone.

His brother's face was torn with emotion. ‘What’s wrong?’ Chaise asked.

‘E il nonno,’ replied Carl, ‘Si spense nelle prime ore di questa mattina.’

Julie translated the news to herself and looked up at Chaise. Tears whelming up in his eyes confirmed her suspicions and she wrapped her arms around him in sympathy. Chaise took a deep breath, noting her sweet perfumed scent, before relaxing within her comforting embrace.

  ◆◆◆

Federico was so much more than just a grandfather to Chaise. He was Chaise’s early childhood idol and father-figure in the absence of his own father, Gianni, who frequently travelled overseas for work.

Federico was fortunate enough to go into working retirement at an early age, and was involved in his upbringing while the twins attended school. He would often treat Chaise to spectacular chemical experiments when he arrived home and was the principle reason why Chaise pursued with his interest in medical science.

Chaise remembered some of his favourite experiments as Carlos calmly interrupted the silence.

‘He wants us in Italy for the funeral on Wednesday.’

  ‘Who’s arranging that?’ Chaise asked.

  ‘Peyton.’

Chaise nodded and hummed in confirmation to Carl’s statement. He already knew Peyton was at the helm, but this head was muddled with the news of Federico’s death. Shock was slowly settling in.

‘Peyton was trying to get us there as early as possible. I know he would’ve hung on for us as long as he could,’ he looked down at Julie sympathetically, kissed her on the forehead, and pulled her in tight into his chest.

He didn’t want to let go.

Cheryl had no clue as to who she was getting involved with and the background of the twins. ‘Who is Peyton?’ she asked.

‘She works for our father,’ replied Chaise. ‘She basically runs the operations of the office and laboratory.’

  ‘Laboratory?’

‘Yes. Our family owns a pharmaceutical company that my grandfather founded 49 years ago. We had hoped he would live to see the 50th year…’

The picture was becoming clearer for Cheryl, but she felt compelled to pry more details from the boys as they walked north towards the Lower College Hall. It was unbeknownst to her that compulsion would soon seal her own fate as Chaise obligingly answered her queries.

Cheryl continued. ‘Your grandfather lived in Italy?’

‘Kind of,’ Carlos interjected. ‘We have a couple of properties there. One outside of Riva, the old homestead, but our grandfather retired to Capri about five years ago when he started to get sick.’

Carlos shoved his phone back into his pocket and pulled out a packet of breath mints, which he offered to the group. Cheryl took him up on his kind offer and continued with her line of query.

  ‘Oh dear, sick? What with?’

‘Cheryl!’ exclaimed Julie. ‘Don’t be so goddamn nosey!’

‘It’s okay,’ Chaise assured her, ‘I think I can quickly explain the situation…’

The group had reached the entrance to the North garden where a celebration party for graduates was beginning. Chaise turned towards Cheryl and continued.

‘Federico had pancreatic cancer. He founded the company in 1964 while he was working as a junior pharmacist. He would experiment with a new chemical in a laboratory at home and developed a niche for placebo-effect drugs.’

Cheryl was so curious right now while a cold lump started to form in her stomach. ‘Placebo-effect drugs? You mean drugs that have no effect? Like sugar-pills?’

‘No,’ Chaise smiled like a Cheshire cat. ‘Quite the opposite. We create drugs to produce the various side-effects that other companies claim they have. Our product is used during the testing and development stages for other companies.’

  ‘What kind of side-effects?’

‘Everything, from dizziness to vertigo. You name it, we do it,’ Chaise reached out and held her hand to demonstrate as his brother quietly snickered in the background.

‘The thing is, Cheryl, we don’t just produce pills these days. To keep up with the market the company has invested in the development of a lifestyle brand of product, just like that mint Carl gave you.’

  ◆◆◆

Cheryl’s world shrunk away in a moment of giddiness as the words left his lips. ‘What!’

‘That mint you’ve just taken, that’s one of the products we’ve produced.'

‘You mean you’ve drugged me?’ she cried.

‘Not me dear. My brother. Although I have no idea what he is trying to prove right now.’

‘We like to think of it as altering your chemical imbalance.’

‘Call it what you fucken like! It sounds like I’ve been spiked to me!’

Julie giggled and came to Cheryl’s side. ‘It’s not as bad as you think. Just wait a moment, babe.’

The cold lump in her throat started to fade and dissipate into dryness as Cheryl took stock of her situation. She flicked her tongue to dislodge the mint from the pocket of her cheek and spit it out. However, now there was a new sensation forming on her tongue. A gentle tingle that felt like sherbet dust, danced across her taste buds. Cheryl entertained the new sensation and rolled her tongue around the mint to dissolve the outer layer.

‘It tingles…’ she remarked to her friends.

Cheryl was just getting used to the sensation within her mouth, that she barely noticed the spasmodic muscle compulsions further down in her body.

Julie grasped her shoulder in support and winked. ‘It gets a lot better…’

The muscle spasms jolted with intensity as Cheryl’s tongue flicked over the mint, breaking through the hard outer shell. A sharp, chilly essence burst out and dispelled throughout her mouth. Cheryl licked her dry lips and pressed the cool mint hard to the surface of her mouth as the juices quietly seeped from within her.

‘Oh, my God…’ she was now alerted to and completely aware of the transformation her body was going through, and there was no way she felt like stopping it.

‘This is so …’ she took a deep breath.

Her lips now tingled in unison with her tongue. Licking them only intensified the sensation, but she couldn’t help but provoke it further. Closing her eyes , she reached down toward the aching spasms and touched her navel. Her heart palpitated and raced in excitement. The essence of her desire now started to flow freely from between her thighs as she gasped for breath.

‘Here she goes…’ prompted Chaise in a calm, controlled demeanour.

Cheryl’s knees buckled from beneath her as Chaise and Julie supported her. They lowered her down to the ground, as the spasms continued. Her soaking wet pussy was pulsing with arousal, she stretched her fingers out and snuck them under the hem of her dress. She was so overcome with sexual desire now that the fact of her being in a public place couldn’t stop her from doing so. Now she realised that she had become possessed by her own sexual urge.

Cheryl muttered under her gasping breath just as her fingers finally reached her target.

  ‘Oh Jesus… I’m… I’m going to cu…’

Crippled, she fell to her knees as the tremors continued to rock her body, her flowing robe hiding her frenzied rubbing at her navel.

A staff member passing by stopped as asked if she was okay. Chaise impl
ied it was “indigestion” and assured them that she was fine.

Cheryl let out a deep sigh of relief as she spurted out between her thighs with several waves of lust. She tried to be as discrete as possible, but each gush left her whimpering until she could barely talk under her own breath. Despite this, being breathless suited her fine, and her face said everything that needed to be said.

  ◆◆◆

‘You’re such a bloody lab-rat, Carl!’ Julie cried as she held on to her new-found friend’s sweaty hand. ‘…And you’re not much better either!’

Chaise chuckled ‘C’mon Julie, we’ve just received some bad news in our family. Carl was just easing our grief,’ he grasped her shoulder, ‘Besides, Cheryl was asking a lot of questions there for a while. You know what they say about curiosity and the cat.’

‘Killed the cat! Not drenched it!’

‘Looks more like quenched to me,' interjected Carlos. Julie scowled at the twin brothers, who were on the brink of laughing. She tried desperately to retain her composure in their presence and turned to comfort her recovering friend.

  ‘Are you okay, Cheryl?’

She was sitting and looking at the ground between her legs and she noticed the expanding puddle of her essence on the cobblestones. It only confirmed the reality of what she thought or hoped with embarrassment, was just a dream.

‘I had no control at all…’ she muttered.

  ‘I know…’ replied Julie.

‘I mean, absolutely no control at all.’

  ‘I know…’

‘It was so intense, I simply had to bring it on…’

  ‘We know!’ jeered the twins.

They all laughed together with Cheryl and continued up the cobbled path towards the graduation party.

  11

Graduation at St Andrews was a grand affair with the garden party being a traditional affair held in a marquee on the Lower College Hall lawn. Tables were laid out with refreshments. A small line was forming at the Sparkling Wine table where the group started to head.

‘I can’t believe you’d do that to a stranger Carl.’

‘C’mon Julie, it’s not as if she’s a complete. I’ve met her once before.’

‘Once! On a single night, many moons ago.’

‘I did ask her if she wanted it.’

‘Oh for crying out loud!’ exclaimed Julie.

‘It’s okay,’ interrupted Cheryl. ‘I didn’t mind it so much after all,’ she smiled, ‘It was good.’

Carlos grinned from ear to ear. ‘You and I are going to get along just fine.’ He passed her a glass of wine, escorted her to the side of the marque and began to talk to her.

‘Your brother continues to amaze me Chaise.’

‘I know, but we’re not so far apart in ideas and wishes.’

‘That probably should scare me more, I guess.’

Chaise hugged her across the shoulders, ‘My dear, I’ve only just begun with you. This is going to be a graduation you won’t forget.’

‘Good grief! You’re up to no good, aren’t you?’

  Chaise grinned sheepishly. ‘Bingo.’

  ‘I don’t like the sound of that…’

‘Sound of what?’ said a voice behind Chaise. He turned around to see who had overheard the conversation.

‘Professor Gilmour, good to see you again.’

‘Good to see you too, Master Vallati. So, what was sounding so bad?’ she enquired.

‘My grandfather. He’s very ill right now.’

‘I’m sorry to hear that,’ sympathised the professor, ‘I do hope everything turns out fine for you and your family then, and please, send my regards to your father when you see him.’

Chaise thanked her for her thoughts and she shook his hand before departing to join the other faculty staff.

  Julie raised her eyebrows, ‘Ill?’

‘I know, I know. She caught me off-guard.’

‘Good to know that happens once in a while. You’re not rattled very often.’

‘Whatever, but while we’re on the subject, where were we now?’ questioned Chaise.

  ‘Oh dear…’

  ◆◆◆

Chaise took her hand with a devilish grin, ‘Let’s see just how far you’re prepared to take this kink scene. Take this.’ He handed her a small oval capsule about half the size of a golf ball with a fine silk threaded rope attached to it.

  ‘What is this?’ Julie asked.

‘It’s my latest creations. I call it a surge ball.’

‘Uh-huh, and what do you expect me to do with it?’

‘Put it inside you,’ he replied.

  ‘What?’

‘I said, put it inside you. You know…’ he nodded his head toward her pelvis.

‘You’re friggin kidding me? Aren't you?'

Chaise shook his head and remained grinning.

‘Here? And now? I don’t know. You know how vocal I can be Chaise, and we’re surrounded.’

‘I guess you’ll have to be as quiet as possible then, eh?’ He folded his arms and his devilish grin turned into a smug gambler smirk. ‘I doubt you’d last the distance anyway.’

Julie was almost too afraid to ask, ‘Won’t last? And why do you think that?’

  ‘Let’s say… it’s just… different.’

‘Okay, okay. What does this do then?’

‘Well, I’ve done my research lately since you've taken that book up.’

It was a fib. But her reading habits made this all possible now.

‘Oh, here we go again!’ Julie interrupted.

‘Hear me out babe. Research is knowledge, and knowledge is power,’ he replied, ‘so how do you expect me to exercise power without research?’

‘Good God, I’ve created a monster!’ interjected Julie. ‘What has your research unravelled?’

  ‘Pain,’ Chaise replied bluntly.

Julie paused for a moment to take his comment in. ‘I dunno ‘bout this one Chaise…’

‘Not sure about what?’ came a slurry voice from behind her. ‘What’s the problem?’

It was Cheryl sporting a glass of sparkling wine in each hand. She handed one to Julie and continued to pry.

‘It’s not a problem, just something Chaise and I are trying to get sorted for now.’

‘Oh, so whatcha got there then?’ said Cheryl who had now spotted the device in her friend's hand.

  ‘Err…’ Julie muttered.

‘It’s another experiment of ours,’ interjected Chaise. ‘We’re just contemplating if this is the right place for it.’

‘Sounds good to me,’ replied Cheryl. ‘I’m game if it’s anything like this morning’s one. That was fun!’

Chaise smirked, ‘I like your friend Julie. She seems like a lot of fun.’

‘Chaise, be nice… you’re not thinking what I think...?’

‘Oh yeah, I’m thinking alright. If you’re not game, then maybe this is the answer?’

Julie rolled her eyes as her curious friend persisted upon being the subject in their latest experiment. Cheryl always was the party girl and only needed a couple of drinks to let her hair down. But in open spaces with plenty of fresh, such as this, she barely needed a drop. She pleaded with Julie to let her take part in Chaise’s experiment. When she started to become vocal with her argument Julie backed down and allowed her to try to surge ball.

‘But I’m telling you Cheryl, don’t blame me of this isn’t what you think.’

‘Okay Julie, just let me try it. Please?’

Julie nodded to Chaise and he passed the ball to her. He told her to place it inside her and they waited for the ideal time when no one was looking for her to do so. They stood close to each other for cover as Cheryl slipped the ball underneath her gown and into her vagina.

  ‘There, done. I hope it’s in right…’

Chaise almost offered to check for her, but swallowed his offer instead with a crunch of his knuckles.

An announcement that the ceremony was to begin rang out over the
loudspeaker and they made their way into formed queues and marched toward the ceremony hall.

‘I can’t wait for the aching,’ Cheryl boasted ‘What’s going to happen this time?’

‘Oh, it’ll ache alright,’ replied Chaise, ‘but I’m sorry dear, this time it’s pain, not pleasure.’

  ‘Huh? What?’

  ‘Pain.’

  ‘Sorry? What are you saying?'

‘Don’t panic. Just pull the string if it gets too much. You’ll be fine,’ he winked.

The ceremony ushers' approached and separated them into different queues based upon faculty and degree. Cheryl was escorted off to her fellow classmates while the others continued down the middle of the hall to their designated area.

‘Will she be okay?’ asked Julie. ‘And I never got to ask, what on earth does that thing do anyway?’

  ‘She’ll be fine.

The ball secretes a fluid upon each contraction. It’s like a controlled medicine release capsule, but can be a bit hard to control when something like Super V is in it I guess.’

‘You guess? What do you mean you guess?’

‘Well I haven’t tried it before.’

  ‘For fucks sake Chaise!’

One of the faculty staff nearby overheard them and told her to calm down.

‘For fucks sake Chaise!’ whispered Julie, ‘What do you mean you never tried it before?’

  ‘Well I haven’t.’

‘You can’t do it here for the first time! We’re surrounded by people! Take a look!’

‘But where’s the fun in that?’ Chaise replied bluntly.

'The poor girl will be completely out of control with that stuff!’

  ‘What stuff?’

‘V you idiot! She’ll be screaming any minute now.’

‘Unlikely. Remember I told you it was one of our pain simulators, like I said.’

Julie shook her head, ‘I’m not sure if that is any better. What kind of pain?’

  ‘Arthritis.’

Julie smacked Chaise upon the chest with a dull thud as her palm met his lean pectoral muscles. ‘What! How could you?’

‘It’s not as bad as you think,’ he replied cheekily. ‘besides, she can always stop it. It’s easily removed with the string.’
