The stencil prints, designed, created and executed by Elsie Klengenberg to depict the legend of Uvajuq were commissioned by the Kitikmeot Heritage Society. A permanent display of the prints will be hung in the new Community Library and Cultural Centre being built in Cambridge Bay. Only three sets of the prints were made. All three sets are the property of the Kitikmeot Heritage Society, as are the original pencil sketches, which Elsie made as she worked out how to illustrate the legend. The acid-free, 100 % cotton fibre paper on which the prints are rendered measures 19.75 inches high by 25.5 inches wide (50 × 65 cm).
