“Girl lemme tell you. This nigga has been up my ass since that shit popped off at the club.” Lexi told her getting straight to the point.

“Damn it’s like that? That nigga got that ass on lock?” Quita teased.

“Nah girl, it’s not like that at all,” Lexi told her with sadness in her voice.

“Oh shit girl. What’s wrong? You sound so sad.” Quita questioned.

“Where should I start? Lexi asked.

“Oh shit. Hold up. I almost forgot I got Kali on the phone.” Quita grabbed the phone real fast.

“Hello Kali, you still there?” She asked.

  “I’m still here,” Kali answered.

“Hey that was Lexi at the door, so I’m gonna holla at her real quick. I’ll call you back in a little bit,”Quita told her.

  “Wait!” Kali shouted.

  “What up?” Quita asked.

“What y’all about to do?” Kali asked.

“Shit, I dunno. We’ll probably catch up and maybe have a drink or two. Nothing special,” Quita told her.

“Well, I’m coming over. Just give me a minute,” Kali told her.

“A’ight that’s cool. Later,” Quita told her. They hung up.

Quita went in the kitchen and got two glasses and some Hennessey. She walked back in the living room and Lexi was sitting on the couch with a Garcia Vega in her hand about to roll up.

Quita flopped down beside her and smacked her on the arm.

“What’s up bitch, besides you getting ghost for so long? I guess J-Roc been spoiling that ass huh?” Quita asked.

“Nah girl, it’s been fucked up,” Lexi told her.

“What you mean Lexi? I thought you said he been under your ass since that shit popped off?” Quita said.

“He has, but he makes me stay in the house while he goes out. He takes my phone when he leaves so I ain’t call nobody. Quita, he constantly puts me down. When we fuck it’s like he be trying to rip me a new hole. I’ve told him how I feel and he insists that he love me more than anything in this world. I don’t feel it though. We don’t even talk like we used to. I know he’s still fuckin’ with Jade’s nasty tramp ass, ‘cause every time I mention her name he blows up at me like I was the one fucking her. He gets so mad at me if I say her fucking name. He be talking shit to me like she his main bitch, and I’m his side ho. But you know what.” Lexi said.

  “What?” Quita asked.

“I got a trick for both they asses I’ll fix ‘em,” Lexi told her.

“Lexi, you know you’re my girl. I love you like a sister, but it’s time to make that nigga beat his fucking feet. You’re too pretty for that, don’t let no nigga put you down. You hear me Lexi?”

“Yeah I hear you,” Lexi said.

“As for Jade, you already know how she gets down. That’s why I feed her out of a long handled spoon. The only people I trust are my mother, you and Kali. I’m skeptical ‘bout her ‘cause she shiesty as hell,” Quita told her.

“I knew I should have hooked you up with one of Bay-Bay’s homeboys when they were here last weekend, but you were missing.” Quita told her. They both laughed.

“Ahh, shit!” Lexi screamed out in pain ignoring Quita’s comment.

“What’s wrong girl?” Quita asked her.

“Fuck, I just burned my damn finger.” Lexi frowned.

“Lexi you must be really stressing out, ‘cause you fucking up.”

“I know right. On the real Quita go ahead and hook that shit up ‘cause I think I’m done with J’s ass once and for all. Oh yeah girl, lemme tell you what this muthafuka did the other night. This nigga calls me and tell me to fix his tired ass something to eat ‘cause we need to talk. My dumb ass did as I was told.”

“What did he want you to cook?” Quita asked.

“I cooked some spaghetti, garlic toast and a salad,” Lexi told her.

“Wow! He eats your spaghetti?” Quita asked.

“Hell yeah, why wouldn’t he?” Lexi asked confused.

“I’m just saying most niggas be thinking a bitch is gonna put some blood in it to try and put voodoo on they asses.”

“I know right. Anyway heifer, just listen and quit interrupting me. Let me finish the story,” Lexi said getting frustrated with Quita’s frequent comments.

“I had dinner ready ‘round six thirty or so, but this mufucka didn’t get his ass there until one thirty,” Lexi said.

“Aww hell naw, see fucking with me he would have got a fucking bologna sandwich.” Quita blurted out again.

“Girl, I was fuckin’ pissed. Then when he gets there he had the nerve to have a fuckin’ attitude with me all because he and Devon had a disagreement ‘bout some ya-yo! Of course we ended up arguing half the fucking night. Well you know he put it down before we went to bed. Mind you the spaghetti’s still in the oven ‘cause his sorry ass didn’t even bother to eat.” Lexi paused for a moment and took another double shot of Henny before she finished her story.

“I dunno Quita sometimes I think he hates me for no reason.”

“What make you say that Lexi?” Quita asked her.

“Because that night when we fucked he laid me on my stomach and grinded that shit sooooooooo good girl. He pulled his dick out of me and started licking my ass and eating my pussy. I thought I was in heaven. When I tell you I just kept on nuttin, it was like he broke a water main or some shit.” They both just busted out laughing.

In the same breath Lexi busted out crying so hard. Quita didn’t know what to do, but put her arms around her girl and comforted her.

“Why are you crying Lexi?” Quita was confused by her split second mood change. Silence fell upon the room. It was so quiet you could hear a mice piss on cotton.

“Lexi tell me what happened.” Quita probed.

Lexi cleared her throat and finished her story.

“Quita, after he finished eating me out he rammed his dick in my ass so hard and fast he ripped my asshole!” Lexi said.

“Oh my fucking goodness are you serious Lexi? Are you okay?” Quita asked.

“Hell no Quita. I had to go to the emergency room and get my asshole stitched up! Can you just imagine how embarrassed I was?” Lexi said. Quita jumped off the couch livid.

“Oh, when I see that mufucka it’s on and poppin!” Quita was ready for war. That was her girl and she wasn’t about to let a sorry ass nigga treat her like that.

“Please don’t say nothing Quita. I’m gonna handle this myself. I promise,” Lexi told her.

”No Lexi that nigga gotta pay for that fuck shit,” Quita told her.

“Quita, I’m beggin you. Please don’t say shit. I got this,”Lexi reassured her.

Quita took a deep breath and flopped back down on the couch beside Lexi.

“A’ight girl I’ll chill, but if you don’t handle that shit quick I will.” Quita warned.

“Ok, just give me a couple of weeks and it will be done.” Lexi said. Again silence fell upon the room. Lexi took another drink and sparked another blunt.

“What’s up with you and Bay-Bay? Quita you hear me?” Lexi shoved her on the arm. Lexi had quickly changed the subject because she hadn’t chilled with her girl in a grip. She didn’t want to focus on her problems.

“Damn ho, you heavy handed as hell. What did you say?” Quita asked.

“I said how you and your boo doing?”

“Oh, we straight. I’m feeling him alot. He’s not here much, but I’m still a little bit open,” Quita told her.

“Oh snap not Quita admitting to being sprung. Stop the fucking press.” Lexi said rubbing it in.

“Hold up ho, I said a little not a lot!” Quita shot back.

“Yeah fucking right. Your ass mad open,” Lexi teased.

“Shit, not me. I mean don’t get me wrong. He treats me good and he respects me. The only thing that pisses me off is that he and his boy think that me and Kali are two country dummies,” Quita told her.

Just as Quita was about to spill the beans she heard a knock o
n her door.

“What are you talking about Quita?” Lexi asked.

“Who is that at you door? Are you expecting company?” Lexi asked.

“Oh damn, that’s Kali. She told me she was coming through, but I forgot.” Quita hurried and opened the door.

“What up ma ma?” Kali asked her.

“Not shit just kickin’ it with my girl drinking and talking,” Quita told her. Kali walked past Quita.

“Hey Lexi, what’s good.” Kali said

“Same shit just another day,” Lexi said dryly.

“Damn y’all up in here getting it in huh? Y’all are a couple of lushes,” Kali teased.

  “Fuck you Kali!” Quita shot.

“I’m just fucking with y’all. Where is my glass?” Kali asked Quita.

“Bitch you know where everything is. You better act like you know!” Quita told her.

After Kali got a glass she joined Quita and Lexi in the living room for drinks and small talk.

“What were y’all up in here talking ‘bout?” Kali asked.

“We can’t say it’s an ancient Chinese secret,” Lexi said rubbing her hands together to add emphasis.

“She was just asking me about Bay-Bay and Black.” Quita told her.

  “What about them?” Kali asked.

“Oh, I was getting ready to tell her how them niggas think were dumb ‘bout what’s been going on for the last five and a half months,” Quita said.

“Tell her Quita, but Lexi you gotta keep your mouth shut on this one. You can’t tell nobody. Not even your momma,” Kali told her in a very serious tone.

Lexi was a little bit offended.

“Come on Quita you know I don’t even get down like that,” Lexi told her.

“Girl I know that don’t even trip. Well I know you can look at my crib and tell I’m not broke no more. Shit, all this is my shit that I paid for out of my own stash. These niggas got us everywhere moving mad weight for them. In the last five in a half we’ve been all over the U.S from New York to California. Girl, they be stuffin’dope in everything from pork and bean cans to coffee cans. I mean they got their shit together. Black has Kali stuff her pussy sometimes or we swallow balloons. The last run we went on to Memphis they had us dressed up like we were business women wit brief cases and shit with our hair in a buns. Girl we looked the part and nobody would have ever guessed we’re moving drugs.” Quita continued to fill Lexi in. “The money is good as fuck, but sometimes it’s scary. We been pulled over by the boys on several occasions, but we always play it off and act like we had death in the family and were on our way to the funeral.”

“Yeah and you know Quita quick on her feet. She be on the passenger side crying and shit like its for real,” Kali said.

“She needs to take that shit to Hollywood and make some legit money,” Lexi added.

“Anyway, we’re about to cut them niggas off after this next move. As much as we like them it’s not worth our lives. Besides, we know them mafuckas only fucking with us to benefit themselves. They don’t love our asses. It’s all good though ‘cause we done saved up mad loot. Right now I got like fifty g’s saved, and Kali holding about the same amount. So fuck ‘em!” Quita told her.

“Oh my God, y’all bitches need to put me on for real! I need to get some of that dough. That’s a lot of damn money,” Lexi told said sounding all excited.

“I dunno Lexi. I gotta run it by Bay-Bay. Black be acting paranoid sometimes around new people,” Quita told her.

“Paranoid for what? Is that nigga getting high off his own supply?” Lexi asked.

  “No bitch!” Kali snapped.

“Damn Kali chill. I was just playing.” Lexi told her.

“Well don’t play like that,” Kali warned.

“You got it Kali. My bad,” Lexi told her.

“Q be fucking with Rae and those two never go on the runs with us. I will try to convince Bay-Bay that we need three on the next run. I can’t promise you anything, but I’ll try,” Quita told her changing the subject.

“You trying to put me on is all that I’m asking for,” Lexi said.

“I got you girl, don’t worry bout it,” Quita reassured her.

“Why don’t Rae ever go with y’all on runs?” Lexi asked.

“Girl she be all over Quinten’s ass and he’s a slacker, so its just me and Kali,” Quita told her.

“Yeah, she says that she don’t wanna get caught up, but that bitch always trying to go on trips and shopping sprees!” Kali shouted. They laughed.

“Well Lexi I’m telling you now if they do let you come along for the ride you gotta be ready at the drop of a hat, no bullshitting. If I call you make sure you drop everything and be ready to bounce,” Quita told her.

“I got it Quita. Stop tripping.”

“A’ight, from now on we allergic to broke, ‘cause not having money when you need it fuckin’ sucks,” Quita told them.

  Chapter 15

Lexi was sleeping peacefully, dreaming up a way to get back at J-Roc for what he had done to her the previous week. She also had to find a way to get back at Jade for smiling up in her face and fucking her man behind her back.

The constant ringing of the phone startled her out of her slumber. Trying to focus her eyes, Lexi finally reached over on the nightstand to get the phone. She was too late because the caller hung up. She looked at her alarm clock for the time and laid back down. ‘It’s two forty-five in the fucking morning, I’m going back to sleep’. She thought.

As soon as she closed her eyes the phone started ringing again. This time she answered.

“Hello!” She said practically screaming into the phone.

“Hey baby. What’s good?” J-Roc asked her.

“Umph, apparently not me. I haven’t heard from your ass in a week!” She spat.

“I’m sorry shorty. I been grinding my ass off,” he said.

“Yeah I bet you have. Well look, I’m asleep and I gotta go to work in the morning. I’ll call you when I get off or something,” she said sarcastically.

“Oh, it’s like that now baby?”

“Hell yeah nigga, it’s like that ‘cause that bullshit you did to me was real fucked up,” Lexi told him.

“Man I thought I already told you I was sorry for that, I was drunk. Why are you still trippin’ma?”

“Cause muthafucka. I had to have three stitches in my asshole!” Lexi shouted.

  “Dayyyyyum shorty! Word?” He asked.

“Nol, letter nigga. Yes I did,” she told him getting smart.

“Yo’ on the real I didn’t realize I did that much damage. At least lemme make it up to you. I’ll even kiss your boo boo! I’m out front open the door,” J told her.

“Like I said I’m in the bed. Maybe another time,” she told him.

“Come on baby please forgive me. I’m sorry love. Open the door I got something for you. Just spend the day with me. Long John Silvers can make it a day without you being there. I’ll give you double your pay for tomorrow,” J-Roc begged.

Even though she was pissed at him she had to be real with herself. Five dollars and fifteen cent an hour was not cutting it and she needed some serious ends. She smacked her lips and went against her better judgment. She agreed to let him come up.
