Disciplining the Director's Daughter (Hollywood After Dark Book 1) Page 13

by Carpenter, Maggie

As he opened the double doors that led into the bedroom, Kyle stood and stared in wonder. The paned-glass bay window offered an old-fashioned pale yellow and white padded window seat. The walls were papered in thin-striped lemon and white, with a white wall behind the antique four-poster bed that stood proudly taking center stage. Antique etchings graced the walls, and the fireplace mantle was white carved marble, elegant without being pretentious.

“My, gosh, Zach, this is gorgeous. Totally made for seduction.”

“Uh, hardly,” he mumbled. “I’ll have you know it was like this when I moved in. I didn’t have a hand in any of it, and why would I change it? The bed though, was my first serious furniture purchase many years ago.”

“Of course it was,” she giggled. “A young man about town has to have a serious bed.”

“I’ve never been a young man about town,” he chuckled, “even when I was a young man. I was working too hard for all that nonsense. How do you think I ended up with all this? I didn’t just snap my fingers.”

“It’s beautiful,” she murmured walking around the room. “I mean it. It’s peaceful, I love the colors, it’s something special.”

“Thanks. Let me show you the rest of the place.”

“Why don’t we just stay here?” she said softly, walking towards him.

“Uh, that could work,” he nodded, realizing he’d been so distracted by the news of the accident he’d barely paid her any attention.

“I think,” she said moving her arms around his neck, “I need something to stir up my appetite.”

  “Hmmm, like what?”

“I made up that list for you, the one of my fantasies?”

  “Good girl.”

“I am a good girl. I brought it with me. It’s in my bag downstairs, but there’s one I could tell you, if you’d like.”

“I’m listening,” he purred moving his hands to her squeeze her bottom.

“Ooh, Zach, how can I concentrate when you do that?”

  “Try,” he said firmly.

“I have this, uh, thought, that, uh, I do a slow strip for you, until I’m totally naked, but you’re still fully dressed, and, uh…”

“Is it my imagination or are you feeling shy?”

  “Yes, I am. I don’t know why.”

“It’s not uncommon,” he said warmly. “I like it so far. You naked, me dressed, that by itself is hot.”

  “It is?”

  “Can’t you feel it?”

His cock was standing at attention and rubbing against her, and sighing she leaned her head against the soft wool of his sweater.

“You have to tell me the rest now, that’s the rule.”

“Oh, a rule, I love that you have rules,” she muttered. “Okay, so I’m naked, and you put me across your knee, and after you spank me you make me get on my knees in front of you and, uh, suck your cock until you’re almost ready, then you throw me on the bed and ravage me.”

Without speaking Zach moved his hands to the back of her dress and slid down the zipper. As his hands moved with it, touching her skin, he discovered she was wearing no bra, and when he reached the small of her back, he found no panties.

“What a naughty girl,” he whispered, “no underwear?”

  “No, Sir,” she breathed.

  “Kick off your shoes.”

Using him for support, her heart thumping, she pushed off her sandals.

“I’m going to sit on the edge of the bed, and you are going to slowly, very slowly, remove your dress.”

Placing his hands on her shoulders he languidly kissed her, then sat down and looked up at her expectantly.

Though her pulse was racing and her butterflies were madly fluttering, Kylie was in heaven. The simple fantasy she’d just relayed she’d carried with her for years, and it was about to become a reality. He’d said all the right things, he’d done all the right things, even the kiss before he sat down. Staring into his eyes she crossed her arms over her chest, and as she began to slide the dress down her arms she had only one thought.

I’m dreaming, and I never want to wake up.

  CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

After Kylie had finished her sensuous, slow strip, Zach made her stand in front of him and teased between her legs.

“No underwear, and you’re already wet. What’s to be done with you, Kylie? Ah yes, I know, a smart quick spanking. Crawl over my lap.”

Already burning with need, as she laid herself across his thighs the feel of his slacks against her skin sent a wave of tiny gymnasts tumbling through her belly. She couldn’t stop herself wriggling in anticipation, and reaching across the bed she grabbed a pillow.

He waited for her to settle, then to add some spice to her spanking he clutched a handful of hair as he began landing his hand with hot, stinging slaps. She yelped into the pillow and wriggled between his smacks, but did not put her hands behind her or beg him to stop, and though it hadn’t been a hard spanking, he had offered enough zing to leave her skin hot and tingling.

“Now you’ll show me your gratitude, won’t you Kylie?”

  “Yes, Sir,” she bleated.

“Kneel between my legs, pull out my cock and pleasure me.”

Moving off his lap she knelt in front of him, gently unzipped his trousers and pulled out his very stiff member. Without hesitation she placed her lips around him and began to lustily slide them up and down his shaft.

Zach tipped back his head and closed his eyes, relishing the delicious feel of her wet lips. It had been a few months since he’d enjoyed the sensation of a woman’s mouth pleasuring his cock, and it was having a profound affect.

“Slow down,” he muttered determined to draw out the delightful interlude.

She did as he directed, and opening his eyes he gazed down to watch her for a while, and as she circled her tongue around the head he let out a low groan.

“I need to train you,” he mumbled, “and I will, with a very long wooden spoon, now suck me hard!”

He heard a muffled cry, and as she began to devour him with renewed enthusiasm he could sense the shadow of his climax.

“Enough,” he said sharply. Reaching down and grabbing her hair he carefully tugged it back. “I want to fuck you. Bend over the bed.”

  “Yes, Sir,” she whispered.

As she moved over the edge of the mattress he stripped off his briefs and trousers, and grabbing a condom from his nightstand he quickly slid it over his cock.

“Such a swollen pussy,” he muttered separating her lips with his thumbs, then placing his cock against her wet, hungry portal, he forcefully thrust forward.

Clutching her hips he began to ride her, fucking her with abandon. It was what she wanted and he was more than happy to oblige. Determined to stroke her until she wailed out her need to come, he didn’t pause or change his tempo, and when she finally gasped out her plea he gave her his blessing.

“Yes, now, right now,” he said gruffly.

She howled into the mattress as her spasms rippled through her body, and moments later, as his fingers tightened their grasp, with deep groans to herald his climax his cock erupted in a series of powerful spasms.

Breathless and drained he staggered to the bathroom, and after disposing of the condom he returned to find her lying where he’d left her. Softly kissing her cheek, he stroked her back and caressed her red backside.

“It seems my little Kitten is all worn out.”

  “I am, totally,” she sighed.

“Climb on the bed, I’ll join you.”

As she slowly moved her body on top of the mattress, he pulled off his sweater and stretched out next to her.

“Zach,” she breathed, “I have had that fantasy forever. It was even better than I thought it would be. You turn me on so much.”

“I’m glad it was me who had the pleasure of sharing with you,” he said drawing her into his arms.

“I know it was simple, but it was so exciting. I hope it was for you too.”

  “No, not
at all,” he said grimly.

“You’re terrible,” she laughed, then playfully pinched his nipple.

“Hey, careful, there are these dastardly little devices called nipple clamps. I’ll be more than happy to introduce them to you.”

  “Eeeek, sorry, I’ll be good.”

“Just for the record, you could do the polka and it would be exciting. Everything about you is exciting,” he said giving her a squeeze. “What’s that saying? When you’re hot, you’re hot, and Kylie, trust me, you’re hot.”

  “So are you, Superman.”

“Do you have an appetite now?”

“Definitely, and all day I’ve been thinking about that pasta you mentioned. Another couple of minutes and I should be recovered enough to go downstairs. What about you?”

“A couple of minutes should do it,” he sighed. “While we’re lounging, I have a confession to make,” she said softly.

  “A confession?”

“Not a confession, not really, it’s just, I was surprised that you called me so soon. I thought you’d do the, wait a couple of days thing.”

“Ah, well, I don’t play those kinds of games, though I do have a specific reason for asking you over tonight.”

“You do? Shoot. I thought it was because I was irresistible,” she teased.

  “There’s that too, of course.”

  “What’s the reason?”

“Hmm, I was going to tell you over dinner.”

  “Too late. Tell me now.”

“Who’s the Dominant in this room?” he said moving his hand down and lightly squeezing her ass.

“Sorry,” she laughed. “I guess I’ll have to learn to be a bit less demanding.”

“That all depends how often you want to be sitting uncomfortably,” he remarked.

“Yikes. How about, please, will you tell me the reason you asked me over?”

“That’s better. How would you like to be part of my team at Titan?”

“Is this a joke?” she said abruptly sitting up and staring down at him.

“No. That’s not something I’d joke about.”

“I don’t understand? You were adamant about me not working with you.”

  “I know. I’ve reconsidered.”

  “Why?”

“Are you saying you don’t want to?”

“My gosh, no, of course I do. I’m absolutely thrilled, thank you.”

“Good. Come in tomorrow, go to personnel and fill out all the forms, and then you can start first thing Wednesday.”

“So soon? I can’t believe it,” she exclaimed. “Tomorrow? Yes, absolutely, wow, thank you,” and throwing herself on top of him she began to smother his face with kisses. “Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

“You’re welcome,” he smiled, “but you’d better behave yourself.”

“I’ll do my best, I swear, you won’t regret this,” she said breathlessly, “but you still haven’t told me why you changed your mind.”

“I can’t, not yet. You have to trust me on this.”

“You can’t tell me why you want me to work with you?”

“You’re super smart and have great instincts, but the other reasons have to wait,” he said firmly, “and don’t ask me again, not unless you want that strap swatting your backside.”

“Ouch, okay, but so mysterious. My curiosity is definitely peaked.”

“There’s a condition, though, and it’s written in stone.”

  “Uh-oh. What is it?”

“Under no circumstances are you to tell anyone we’re dating. Our relationship has to be strictly confidential. No-one can know. I mean it, Kylie.”

“Sure, okay, but for how long?”

  “I’m not sure. A while.”

  “That’s going to be hard.”

“All you have to do is be professional. When we’re at the office it’s all about the job. Keep your hands to yourself, and no longing looks or covert winks. Got it?”

“Okay, boss. I’ll be a good girl.”

  “You’d better.”

“I will, I promise. YAY. Wait till dad hears about this. He’ll be so happy.”

“I think we’ve woken up enough to go and have some dinner now. What do you think?”

“I think you’re absolutely right,” she nodded. “Wow. I’m working in Motion Picture Development at Titan. Whoo Hoo!”

  CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

The pasta was in the boiling water, and Kylie was sipping her wine chatting about the problems her father was having on his latest project, when Zach’s cellphone rang. When he saw it was Sam he lifted his finger to signal her to stop talking, then answered the call.

  “Hi Sam.”

“You were right, it was Curtis,” Sam announced brusquely. “They’re still investigating of course, but from the initial information it appears he was weaving through traffic, clipped the back of an SUV and sent it spinning into on coming lanes. With all the fast moving traffic it turned into dominoes.”

“Shit,” Zach muttered under his breath.

  “Yep. Fortunately he wasn’t hurt.”

  “Where is he?”

“The Sheriff’s station at Lost Hills, and he already has a lawyer there.”

“I can’t believe this,” Zach muttered. “I assume you have a statement prepared.”

“I’m still discussing it with Max,” Sam replied. Max was the head of their PR department, and had proven his worth many times over when it came to dealing with the press and handling sticky situations.

“While I have you, anything to report on the Kylie front?”

“It’s been taken care of,” Zach said quickly.

“That’s some good news at least. Thanks, catch ya later.”

  “Bye, Sam.”

“That didn’t sound good,” Kylie frowned as Zach ended the call.

“Something happened this afternoon,” he said grimly. “I was going to tell you earlier, but a certain sexy vamp distracted me and I didn’t want to ruin the mood.”

“What was it?” she asked moving closer to him.

“There was a massive accident on PCH, and Curtis was involved.”

“What? Is he hurt? How did it happen?”

“Apparently he’s okay. He’s at the Lost Hills Sheriff’s station. Come into the living room, it’s probably still being covered by the news.”

Taking her hand he led her out of the kitchen, and flopping down on the overstuffed, enveloping couch, he picked up the remote and turned on his television. As he’d predicted the accident was still being covered, and an overhead live feed was being shown alongside the face of the news anchor.

“Oh, my, God, what a mess,” Kylie declared staring at the carnage.

“Let’s hear the latest,” he murmured turning up the volume.

“With five people in critical condition, and a total of nine vehicles involved, this could well be one of the worst accidents in the highway’s checkered history. If you are just tuning in, Pacific Coast Highway will be closed overnight as detectives continue their investigation, but they are promising to have the road cleared in time for the morning commute. Unfortunately they can’t do much about the continued tie-ups this evening.”

“My gosh,” Kylie breathed. “Chaos, absolute chaos. I love Malibu, but when things like this happen it makes me glad I don’t live there. One way in, and one way out.”

“Except for the canyons,” Zach reminded her.

“Well, yes, but can you imagine how they’ll be clogged right now?”

The ding of the kitchen timer interrupted their conversation, and Zach rose to his feet to head back into the kitchen.

“Stay here if you want. It will take me a minute to work in the sauce.”

“No, it’s fine, I’ve seen enough,” she replied. As he turned down the volume Kylie stood up, but paused for a moment, staring back at the screen.

“I wonder if Curtis had anything to do with the cause of that mess.”

“Confidentially, Sam told me that the fi
rst reports suggest Curtis clipped a car as he was passing it, and that’s what triggered the whole thing,” Zach said grimly as they left the room.

“Oh, no. Talk about someone’s life falling apart.”

“It’s horrible, that’s why I’ve been waiting to tell you,” Zach said as he pulled the pot off the stove and began draining the pasta. “I just wanted us to enjoy a lovely dinner.”

“It will still be a lovely dinner,” Kylie said firmly. “Should I add the dressing to the salad?”

“Yes, please. It’s in that plastic container, and you don’t have to worry, everything is organic. It’s from Goodeats in Brentwood.”

“I love that place,” she remarked as she opened the small plastic tub. “They have incredible food. Have you ever eaten in their restaurant above the shop?”

“I haven’t. I’ve been wanting to. Is it good?”

“Yes, better than good. I’ll take you,” she offered.

In spite of Kylie’s bright promise, as Zach finished saucing the pasta and laying it into deep bowls, he had an uncomfortable feeling, a precognitive sense of pending trouble. Kylie detected the unseen cloud hanging over him, and moving to his side she placed an arm around his waist.

“What’s bothering you?” she asked quietly.

Turning around he looked down at her, and encircling her in his arms he hugged her tightly.

“I’m not sure. This accident with Curtis, it’s probably just unsettling me. Things happen in a blink of an eye and suddenly everything changes.”

“That’s so true,” she sighed. “Those people were just driving somewhere, minding their own business, and-”

“That’s what I mean,” he interrupted, and pulling back he stared down at her. “Take nothing for granted, Kylie. I know you’ve been living a carefree life, but what if you’d staggered out into traffic one of those nights you were drunk? What if you’d taken it into your head to get behind the wheel of your car? Remember that morning when I didn’t want you driving because you were so flustered?”

  “I remember,” she nodded.
