Tantrum Page 14

by Piper Frost

The table falls silent for a moment before Tommy claps his hands. “Right, so. Jukebox?” He all but yells then pulls his phone out to pull up the app and start to search for songs.

I manage to glance over at Kaydence who's got a smile on her face, drinking her beer and people watching. Maybe she didn't hear him. Tommy plays some music and with the booze in his system he's out in the middle of the bar, shoving tables and making his own dance space within minutes of the music starting. I laugh, stretching back in my chair and resting my arm around the back of Kaydence's then I grab my phone out of my pocket and hit record. He's making himself look like a mega fucking tool, but I'm not about to miss a chance to get this on video.

Kaydence laughs and lands a kiss on my cheek before she gets up and joins him. She doesn't look nearly as stupid as he does, but they're both owning this area Tommy created. When she reaches for me I tug her toward me instead, bringing her to my lap.

“I like you here.” I smirk, cupping her face with my hands.

She pecks my lips and turns, pressing her ass to my lap and grinding her hips, her hands twist her hair up while she outright gives me a lap dance. I'm too busy enjoying the show and my girl grinding on me that when Grant walks up behind me I don't even realize it until he boasts out a noise.

“Fuck, Haring. She's been hiding her freak side from us!” His voice brings me back down from heaven and I grip her hips, pulling her down to my lap and not letting her move anymore.

“Time to go,” I blurt, grabbing my phone and keys from the table before helping her off my lap and standing.

“Leaving when the fun gets started. Typical,” Grant says, laughing as I drag Kaydence out of the bar.

“Hey,” Tommy barks, stopping us just outside the door. “Why're you leaving? We drove together, dude. I'm not leaving yet.” He pulls his pack from his pocket and lights up a cigarette, taking a long drag.

“Kay's tired. It's been a long day. You can get an Uber.” I grip her hand and notice her cheeks are flushed and the look she's giving me tells me she's got one thing on her mind.

“Babe.” Kaydence grabs my hand. “We can wait for them.” She smiles at Tommy. “We'll wait until you're done.” Glancing around, she bites her lip, trying to hold back a smile. “I have to pee.” As she walks backward, she grabs my hands, pulling me with her toward the side of the building.

“Kay, you can go back inside to p—” She stops me when she slams her lips to mine, forcing me back against the wall. I can't help but chuckle, but it soon turns into a growl when her hand snakes down the front of my pants. “Fuck, Kaydence,” I pant, twisting us and pressing her against the brick wall.

It's cool outside, and the air is crisp but this girl's made me burn for her tonight. Our mouths devour each other. The way I wanted to before the concert. Or in the fucking car. Hell, I'd be a happy man if I never put my lips on another fucking girl again. Her fingers scrape through my hair, the sensation of her nails on my scalp does something to me, and I press against her, letting my hand trail down her cheek, over the swell of her breast, and land right under her dress between her legs. She gasps when I push her underwear out of the way and slide my fingers inside her.

“Chase.” She moans and grabs my wrist.

Headlights bounce off us, but it doesn't stop me and when her eyes roll back and her lids flutter, it makes me pump faster. The car horn beeps and people yell out the window in encouragement and I grin into a kiss, especially when she starts to tighten around my fingers. My dick is almost painful against these jeans. If it wasn't bad enough her grinding on me at the concert, then that lap dance inside, feeling how wet and tight she is for me could damn well send me over the edge before I'm ready. I pump my fingers faster and dip my head, licking down her breast and probably leaving a mark I suck so hard, but I don't care. Her pussy clenches around me and her breath hitches. Her fingers are digging into my arm and when her orgasm finally comes, I slam my lips to hers to muffle her cries.

When her legs stop quaking, she opens her eyes and gives me a grin I've never seen before. Her hands reach for my belt buckle and I let her, because we're not walking out of this alley tonight with my dick this hard and I refuse to stop this now.

“Being with you makes me do things I never would have. I love who you make me turn into.” She bites my lip before hiking her leg around my hip and pulling me to her.

“It's like I bring out the best in you,” I whisper and grip the backs of her thighs, lifting her and pushing into her in one clean movement that leaves me buried balls deep, pressing her hard against the wall. “Shit.” I pant, trying to get used to how tight she is but I don't think I'll ever get used to it. It's fucking perfection.

I start to pump, each thrust she makes more and more noise and the only thing bothering me right now is anyone else around is going to get to see my girl come undone and that's a sight only I want to be privy to, but I'm not stopping. I pump into her, her nails scratching my back and her legs tight around me. She's fucking perfect and with each thrust I have to stop myself from blurting those words that could ruin it. When I come, I come hard with a growl. Her arms tighten around me and her lips slam to mine. We're completely out of breath and paying no attention to what's going on around us.

  Until we hear the clapping.

When Kaydence gasps, I look to my left and see a small crowd that just watched us go at it. Kaydence drops her head to my shoulder and I think she's crying until I lift her face and see she's laughing so hard she can't gasp in a breath. Now I'm leaking out of her and back onto my cock.

I pull out quick, letting her dress fall to cover her while trying to adjust everything back into my pants. It's not as fuckin' easy as it sounds.

Kaydence looks at me, still laughing. “We're going to be on World Star,” she says through laughter.

“Fuck it.” I smirk then press my lips to hers through her giggles. “It was hot as fuck, doll.”

“I love—” She's cut off by one of the guys yelling down the alley and my stomach sinks.

“You sex freaks done? 'Cause we're ready to go!” Tommy yells.

My eyes search hers, waiting for her to finish what she was saying but she pastes that smile back on that she's always wearing and grips my hand.

“Y'all are gonna make this car ride extremely awkward,” Grant bitches when we make it to the parking lot.

“Fuck off.” I laugh, pulling her close to me.

“I'm horny as fuck, guys. Thanks for that. Now I have to share a room with this fucker,” Tommy blurts, making me bark out a laugh.

“Chase, you got somethin' on your pants,” Grant says, trying to squirrel tap my nuts and I shove him out of the way.

“Fuck you two. Knock it off!” I let out a laugh and tickle Kaydence's side.

She's been quiet since we left the alley and I really hope she's not pissed they know what we just did. She squeaks out a laugh and shoves away from me, darting to my truck. When she climbs in she slides directly to the middle and when I get in, she lays her head on my shoulder and kisses my jaw before getting settled. A few seconds later I get thumped in the back of the head by one of those two fuckers but before I shove Kaydence away and jump back there to beat their asses, she slides her fingers into my hair and rubs where he thumped.

I knew this girl was too good for me when she first walked into that bar. I knew she'd be the end of my dating life when she smiled at me. How she can calm me with one tiny, insignificant gesture is beyond reason, but she can. So, instead of beating the shit out of fucker one and fucker two in the back seat, I ignore them and start the truck, ready to drop their asses off and get my girl to bed.

It's been weeks since the concert. Weeks since I knew how much I loved Kaydence and have fucking pussied out each time I think about telling her. I will. But right now, as we trek across the field and through the woods to this friendsgiving bonfire she didn't forget about, isn't the time.

I really fucking hoped she'd forget about this. I made it a point n
ot to bring it up again. It's not that I dislike my friends from back then, but lately they've seemed to have a pretty big problem with me.

“I've never heard of a friendsgiving bonfire,” I mumble on the short walk to the lake from Kaydence's house.

“I think you can make up anything now, and as long as you follow through, it's real.” She wraps her arm around my waist.

“Can I make up a holiday called 'Fuck Bunnies' where all we have to do for a week straight is stay in my apartment and fuck every which way we can think of?” I slide my hand into the back pocket of her jeans and laugh.

“If I can make up a holiday called, One-day-my-boyfriend-will-be-comfortable-enough-having-sex-with-me-in-my-house-and-not-scared-of-my-brother. The title's long, but you get it.” She pinches my side.

“I'm not scared of your fucking brother. It's common courtesy.” I lean down and press my lips to hers. “Anyway, my bed's bigger.”

“But mine's comfortable. Although, I do love when you sneak in and we cuddle all night, then you slip out in the morning before Tyler wakes up. It's cute.” She throws her head back, laughing at me.

“I'm a fuckin' ninja, doll. Deal with it.” I can't stop smiling, even though I don't want to be here.

When Kinlee runs over to us, I flinch back. “Chase!” she screams, practically plowing me over when she slams into me.

  “Ow, fuck Kinlee,” I whine.

“I'm so happy you two are here…together.” She grins devilishly and I look over at Kaydence who's also smiling.

“Yeah…” These chicks are too much. “So, where's your brooding cowboy, Kinlee?” I glance around.

“He's not brooding. And he's over there drinkin',” she says, waving toward the fire. “Night without the baby, ya know. Let's go, everyone's already here.” She takes off and I grip Kaydence's hand tight.

I lean down and whisper in her ear, “We can still back out and go to my place.”

She grins and pecks my lips. “Try and have a good time. These are your friends.”

“Were,” I mumble quietly, following her as she holds my hand and almost has to drag me to the group.

Jo glances over at us and a grin slips across her face. I'd say a sweet grin, but there's something about Jo that terrifies me when I see the light of the fire flicking across her features. She walks over to us, stopping just before she runs into us.

“Seems like you two have a little announcement to make too, huh?” She cocks her eyebrow.

“Do you?” I ask, grinning at her because if there's one thing this woman's been busy with for the past ten years, it's popping out more Kenshaws.

“Maybe. But.” She points at us with both hands. “You two are together. Like together. I fuckin' knew it. Kaydence wouldn't say shit, but I knew it. And guess who's gonna lose their shit? Probably Tyler and Brandt. Bo might lose his shit for fun, 'cause I think he still resents you for when you were in love with Kinlee back in the day.” Jo's eyes dart to Kaydence. “He's not anymore,” she blurts then looks at me, like I can save her from running her stupid mouth.

“You done?” I ask, raising an eyebrow at her.

“Completely. Anyway, I think it's cute.” She grins at Kaydence who's still smiling. “I'm not sure if you deserve her, or she deserves you...but it's cute. I'm fuckin' pregnant, I don't know what the hell I'm even talking about anymore,” she mutters before wandering away from us.

Kaydence looks at me with wide eyes and giggles.

“You're the one that wanted to come tonight. Just remember that.” I huff and glance around. “I need a fuckin' drink, Kay. Jo's right. Your brother's here tonight. And Brandt's already eyeballing me from over there.”

“Hey.” She turns toward me. “Happiness is a choice, and I choose you.” She pops to her toes to kiss me.

“I don't know why, but I thank the stars every day that you do.” I smile, then groan and let out a puff of air. “Alright, where's the beer?”

The night progresses slow as fuck, but after a few cans of beer I'm feeling okay. Even better since Kaydence hasn't left my side all night. Also the fact that her fuckin' cousin hasn't tried starting shit and I haven't even seen her brother yet. Thank fuck for that. The little twerp needs to back off. And I need to stop fuckin' caring. I should also probably lay off the beer since nothing good ever comes of it, but fuck it, there's no whiskey tonight.

“I gotta piss,” I say, standing from the old log bench Brandt made when we were in high school. “Wanna give me a hand with this, doll?” I ask Kaydence, chuckling at the look on her face. “Suit yourself,” I say, then head out to the lake.

I wonder how many fish have drank my fuckin' piss over the years? Or how many people have caught a fish one of us assholes have pissed on.

  That shit's sick.

I zip up and grab my beer before heading back to the fire. Kaydence is sitting next to Kinlee and I hear Kinlee laughing.

“You swear this is a natural red? It's not even orange.” Kinlee tugs on one of Kaydence's pony…pigtails. Pigtails.

  That's a stupid fucking name.

“I need another beer,” I say, watching these people interact like we're all still the best of friends. Hell, Brandt wants my ass beat for even knowing his cousin. And Tyler wants my ass beat 'cause he's a little bitch. I don't have time for either of these little bitches. I pop the top to another can and walk back over by the fire.

“Kay, come here. It's warmer and way more fun over here.” I pat the log next to me.

She walks over to me and sits down, pressing in close. “You okay?” she whispers and the fire illuminates her eyes that keep darting to the can in my hand.

“Fuckin' peachy, doll.” I push my lips to hers and in moving so fast, beer sloshes out of the can and onto the ground. “Ha! Shit.” I laugh, my lips still on hers. Fuck she tastes good.

“Kay!” A loud voice comes across from the fire and we both look over at Tyler. There the little fuck is. “Whose jacket is that?” he snickers.

“Mine, dickweed, got issues?” I pull her closer to me.

“Chase.” Kaydence grabs my hand. “Please,” she whispers.

“So you two have gotten close,” Brandt speaks up. “This a thing? Or just adding her to the pile?”

“Fuck off, Kenshaw.” I down the rest of the can in two gulps and smash it. “She's the only girl I need in my pile.” I smile at her and her eyes shine back at me.

“You gonna tell the other chicks you’re screwing about her?” Brandt stands and Jo grabs his hand.

“I'm pregnant!” she blurts and everyone looks at her until Kaydence is pulled out of her seat.

“She's not goin' in your fuckin' pile, buddy,” Tyler spits at me, pulling his sister away.

“Aw, come on now!” I groan. “She's been my fuckin' girlfriend for a while. Exclusive, you little fucking twat. Who the fuck are you to tell your sister who she can and can't date?” I stand, dropping my can to the ground. The world wobbles under my feet but I gain my bearings ready to take him. “Happiness is a choice. She chose me.” I smirk at him.

Kaydence walks over to me and takes my hand. “Let's call it a night,” she says.

“Kay, the guy can take himself home.” Tyler grabs her wrist and I grab his, glaring at him.

“Don't fucking touch her like that, man,” I warn.

“Come on.” Brandt says and pushes us both away from Kaydence. “I'll walk you to the house.” He wraps his arm around her shoulders and she glances back at me.

“Come on, Chase. Please,” she says.

I clench my fists at my side and glare at Tyler before looking back at Kaydence. I want nothing more than to smash this fucker's face in, but this fuck is the girl I love's fucking brother and I can't do that to her. I fucking love this girl. You don't hurt the ones you love.

With a low chuckle, I shake my head and resign to let it the fuck go tonight. I'd rather be with her anyway.

“Yeah,” I say and start to follow her.

  “You're not fucking w
elcome at my house!” Tyler bellows before shoving me right to my ass.

The girls start yelling, but everything falls silent to me. I can only have so much control in one evening and I'm still managing. He's snickering, looking down at me, and all that control I thought I had just went flying out the fucking window.

“Stupid fuck!” I bellow, charging him and knocking him to the ground then land a few good punches before he tosses me off him. Kid's stronger than he looks. “Goddammit!” I yell when he slams me to the ground again and we're a tangle of punches, kicks, and so much dirt flyin'.

  Mother fucker.

I get an arm around my neck before I'm dragged in one direction, and when I look up, Bo's attempting to drag Tyler in the other.

“Let me the fuck go! I'm fine!” I try to wriggle away from Brandt's grip, but holy fuck he's strong. “Fuck, Brandt! He fuckin' started it!”

“Calm the fuck down.” He shoves me farther away. “Fuck! You need to get off the property tonight, Chase!”

Kaydence grabs my arm and waits till I stand up straight before she faces everyone. It's like it's us against them. There's a line dividing this fucking friendsgiving and the only person I need on my side is Kay.

“Why are you guys doing this?” she asks in the saddest tone I've ever heard come from her. Heart and soul crushing. And it's all because of me. They didn't do this shit to the dozens of other guys she dated before me.

“We're looking out for you, Kaydence,” Brandt finally speaks up.

“Speak for yourself,” Kinlee says, standing up and walking over to Kaydence, giving her a hug. “Not everyone's an overprotective asshole.”

“You guys royally fucked up our friendsgiving,” Jo barks at Tyler and Brandt, marching over to our side of the battlefield, hugging Kaydence.

“I'm sorry, Jo,” I mumble, the adrenaline dying down some and I'm suddenly going from drunk, to feeling pretty low.

“I'll drive you guys to town.” She starts walking toward the trucks.

“I only had a beer,” Kaydence says, gripping my hand tight and pulling me along to catch up to Jo. “I can drive us, Jo. Thanks.”
