Their Royal Compromise: Paranormal Dating Agency (OtherWorld Shifters Book 2) Page 18

“Exile them,” Arron said slowly. “Would that work?”

Liam stared into the distance in consideration, finally nodding. “Perhaps.”

“If that is solved, then I believe we have guests to entertain,” Rask pointed out.

“Do you not worry about the bears?” Fianni asked.

“I have faith in you. I have faith in Liam. And Chell is stubborn and annoying, but she’ll find a way to do what is best,” he replied.

  “Astute,” Arron said suspiciously.

“The sooner we parade Fianni around the room and get everyone drunk, the sooner we can sneak off and tear this dress apart,” Rask said with a devious tone.

“Hey now. I like this dress. No tearing,” she protested.

“We’ll get you another one,” Liam promised.

Arron sat behind Fianni, massaging her shoulders while Rask lay on the floor face-first between her thighs. Liam poured a glass of wine and brought it to her, sitting on the floor beside her.

“You’re spoiling me,” she said with a sigh. Still, she took the glass eagerly. The sweet drink helped keep her mind off her future duties as Queen. Though she looked forward to being a part of Solara, she still had no idea what to expect.

Rask nipped at her wet folds, making her squirm and spill the drink on her naked body. Dark red rivulets ran down her breasts and stomach, and he laughed as it landed on his nose.

Rising up on his arms he licked his way up her body and cleaned her of the sticky fluid. “Mmm. I think I found my new favorite way to drink.”

Liam took a swig straight from the bottle and passed it to Rask before kissing Fianni. The fruity flavor stuck to his tongue as it swept against hers, making the kiss an even better treat.

Arron licked the side of her neck and growled softly Rask drew in a nipple, biting down until she gasped into Liam’s mouth. He swallowed her cry and became rougher with his kiss, dominating her until she couldn’t breathe for the amount of excitement racing her blood.

She pulled away, sucking in air that tasted like her men. Smokey. Spicy. When she looked into Liam’s stare she saw the gold melt and darken. For a second before he blinked she saw the elongated pupil of his dragon watching her.

Rask stood and stretched, his erection pressing the front of his pants. He placed the bottle on a nearby table and removed his shirt before rubbing the visible outline of his cock.

“We should take care of that,” Fianni said.

“You will, won’t you?” Liam asked, lifting her arms and placing them around his shoulders.

She allowed him to pull her to him, transferring her from Arron’s hold. He lay back with her straddling his lean hips.

“This is a pleasant view,” he mused. “Though it could use some… bounce.”

“The bouncing is quite nice,” Arron said.

Fianni cupped her breasts and jiggled them in her hands playfully, an action that seemed strange but entertaining. She found herself unable to resist the urge to let go and be flirtier with them. Now that they were mated, she was at ease.

“The only problem is that I still have pants,” Liam said with faux sadness.

She took the hint and scooted down his legs. She hooked her fingers into the top of the pants and pulled them down, aided by own hands. His erection sprang free and her eyes flew to it like a moth to flickering flame.

She knew what she wanted. Her hands gripped his length and stroked up and down, her mouth hung open in anticipation.

  “Just a taste,” Liam said.

  “Cruel,” she replied.

“By the time we’re settled down, you’ll have had your share and then some,” he promised.

  “Settled down?” she asked.

Arron dragged a finger down her spine, drawing her shiver. “The celebration runs until we’re out of drink for guests.”

“The mating lasts until we run out of fire,” Rask finished.

“You mean to say that what… we’re going to party every day and have sex every night for… days?”

  “Of course not,” Liam said.

  She eyed him curiously. “Then?”

“Well, the party is for the guests. We’ve made our appearance. They don’t expect to see us again until…” He stopped and shrugged.

“Until you’re out of fire,” she said thinking it out. She shuddered in delight at the thought. After the chaos and not being able to get them in the same room for weeks, she’d now have them non-stop until presumably, they were all nearly dead from too much pleasure. “I like this tradition.”

“Yes. It’s one of the better ones we adapted when we found Solara. A nod to our primal needs,” Rask said. He stepped out of his pants and gripped his cock. “But don’t worry. You won’t always be spread thin. We’ve agreed to have solo time as well.”

“When was that decided? Not that I’m complaining,” she said.

“When you were suspiciously absent from your own party,” Arron said. “Time alone with each of us seems beneficial.”

“And it means you can take turns recuperating,” she accused.

Liam grinned and his length twitched in her hand. Men. She dipped down and swirled her tongue around his flared tip. She made a note to contact Iona in the morning and ask her to avoid peeking in for a while.

“I’d really like to be inside my Queen right now,” Liam said in a husky voice. “It’s been a long day.”

She kissed her way from tip to base before rising up. “I like simple requests.”

She shimmied back up his body and sank down on him, eager to sate both their needs. Her head fell back as she welcomed the gentle stretch of him filling her completely. She took a moment to enjoy it before sighing and looking back down. Staring into his eyes, she rocked her hips in a slow and steady rhythm.

“Do you remember what I said the first time I touched you?” Rask asked.

She looked at him. “You said a lot.”

Arron moved in close behind her, his breath tickling her back. “He told us.”

“What was it?” she asked, reaching back to cup Arron’s jaw.

She felt his fingers sweep from her pussy back, spreading her slick moisture between her cheeks. The sensation was strange and exhilarating, and her mouth fell open when he slid a single finger into her tight opening.

  “I’ve never,” she gasped.

  “May I?” he asked.

While she considered it, he thrust his finger in and out and nibbled the crook of her neck. It was torture, and she could only imagine how it would feel to have him stretch her there while Liam thrust into her pussy.

  “Yes,” she whispered.

His finger disappeared, and she soon felt the broad tip of him pressed against her. It slid in and she winced at the strange feeling. He massaged her breasts and kissed her neck as he worked his way in, inch by inch.

Liam reached down and circled his thumb around her clit, distracting her from any discomfort, but within moments even that was unnecessary. Fully buried, Arron began to slide in and out, Liam thrust up to counter each stroke.

They moved together, filling her completely, challenging her tight walls. Rask squatted next to her and whispered, “I told you. You’d choke on my cock…”

While Liam stuffs my pussy and Arron takes my ass. The words floated from the back of her mind and made her smile. It reminded her that he’d always seen this outcome. He was the one who’d called Gerri, who’d claimed her as mate first, who told her to not give up.

Everyone else saw him as surly and erratic, but his interior was something else completely. He stood and hovered near her, guiding his cock to her mouth, which she opened eagerly.

Her lips closed around his shaft and his hands tangled in her hair. She knew he’d be rough, and she welcomed it. She knew Arron would always be challenging her, and she needed that. And Liam would be the one beside her to hold it all together. Her dragons gave her everything she needed and so much more. And to think I almost settled down on a farm.

  Iona lou
nged part-way out of the fountain, watching Fianni and occasionally splashing the water into a fine, cooling mist in the air. It was hot outside, just another component of discomfort in Fianni’s book. She rubbed her neck, trying to relax knots that had cropped up over the last month and taken residence.

  “I’m dying,” Fianni whined.

“Oh hush. It’s just one this time. Much easier than three,” Iona reasoned.

“That’s not how it works. It’s the same and different at the same time.” Fianni splashed water on her face and pouted. “I can’t stop eating spicy food. I put dragon sauce on everything I eat, even fruit.”

“That’s disgusting,” Iona agreed. “Last time you just craved stale bread and pickled everything.”

“That was easier on my tongue.” Fianni rubbed her round belly. “My taste buds have completely remapped this time around.

  “Incoming,” Iona announced.

Fianni lifted her head and smiled at the little girl running to them. Long blonde hair trailed behind her as she dashed across the open yard, and when she reached the fountain she tumbled into a patch of flowers.

“Daya!” Fianni said with a laugh. “What are you doing?”

Daya held up a handful of bedraggled pink blossoms. “Flars,” she said proudly, her bright opalescent crystal eyes sparkling in the fading sun. “For mom.”

“She means flowers,” Fianni translated, taking the pink bundle in her hand.

“And they’re lovely, little princess,” Iona said. “Where’s everyone else?”

Daya stared at Iona but didn’t reply. Even though she was half-dragon and half-fae, it was clear that the presence of a semi-translucent blue woman who only appeared in water was strange to the little girl.

Arron appeared in the distance, followed by Liam and Rask, each carrying a squirming toddler, one a boy and another girl.

“You shouldn’t run off,” Arron said sternly to Daya.

  “Flars,” she replied.

He arched a brow and sat beside Fianni, kissing her brow. “Just a few more hours.”

Fianni nodded and opened her arms as the other two children came rushing forward.

  “Careful with mommy,” Liam called.

Each took a side of her, covering her cheeks with wet kisses. Fianni brushed through the girl’s long hair which was exactly as tangled as her sister’s.

“Leiona, are you ready to meet your Aurora cousins?” she asked.

Leiona nodded enthusiastically and pointed to her brother. “Present.”

Fianni turned to the boy, who unlike his sisters had dark hair and eyes that were black but speckled with the colors of the rainbow. “Khai, you have a present for your cousins?”

  He grinned and sat down.

“He caught a lizard,” Rask said. “He insists on giving it to them, so I sent Klara off with it to find some sort of cage.”

“It’s not the worst gift,” Liam reasoned.

“The first time we see your distant Aurora family members, and you want to give them a garden lizard?” Fianni asked.

“Don’t worry. We’ll bring your Prism family one too when we visit them next month,” Rask assured her.

  “Fair is fair,” Arron said.

“The sprites would love one of your lizards. We don’t have them on Prism. Or at least, not quite like that,” Iona said seriously.

  “Present,” Khai agreed.

Fianni ruffled his dark hair. “Yes. Everyone gets a present. And I’ve got the best of all.”

Iona grumbled. “If you gush about your family being the greatest gift again, I have to go. You know I have limited patience for sap.”

“It’s hormones,” Arron said. “Quite common in pregnant women, shifter or fae or anything, I imagine.”

“Don’t talk about my hormones,” Fianni scoffed. “And yes, they are my gift. Little bundles of magic,” she said already feeling the tears gathering in her eyes.

Iona had a point. She’d been incredibly sensitive lately. And while Arron consistently pointed to her changing body chemistry due to the pregnancy, she knew it was much more. She’d been changed since the moment she left Prism and set sight on her future.

To an extent, she could still control the balance and harmony around her, but she’d never be the same as she was before. There was no proof, but she suspected that when she risked everything to escape the cabin, she’d come back free of the restraints she’d had on Prism.

No longer immortal and brimming with magic, she was now an equal to her mates. And in being equal she’d found herself capable of finally bringing life into the world.

Deep inside she could still feel the ancient magic lingering in her bones, even if she could no longer wield it as before. It was the sort of wild magic that allowed her to birth children who each shared three fathers. The sort of wild magic that welcomed a new hybrid of magic shifters—crystal dragons. For as much as she’d lost, she still felt that she’d come out ahead.

  Definitely the fairest compromise.
