Baby Seal_A Navy Seal Romance Page 10

“Ha ha.” Jack said, dourly, leaning against the door jamb.

“Don’t worry, darling.” Naomi’s lips parted as she completed Faith’s look. As soon as she was done, she took a careful look at the work of art, and then turned towards Jack, grinning, “I’ll be your date.”

“Why? Where’d your date go, Red?” Jack asked, suspicious.

“Says he slipped and broke his wrist.”

Jack snorted and Naomi stared him into silence, “At least my date has a valid excuse. Who misses a Gala because of a flu?”

Faith watched the interaction, highly entertained, when her phone beeped.

“Guys, Landon says that I should wait for him here. You guys go ahead.”

“We’ll wait with you.” Jack told her, not wanting to leave her alone.

“Oh come on,” Faith smiled. “Everyone may have gone, but the security team is still outside. I’m perfectly safe here.” She glanced at her watch, and frowned, “We’re the main team. We can’t be late. Go.”

Unwilling, but understanding her point, Jack and Naomi left.

“Was it just me, or was Faith rubbing her stomach a lot?” Jack asked her, as they arrived at the Gala twenty minutes later.

Naomi started and then stared at him. Then, when she smiled, he frowned, “What?”

“Nothing.” She told him and then continued in a singsong voice. “I know something you don’t.”

  “What?”

But he never got the answer to that, because Landon’s voice hailed them at the entrance of the hall, “Guys! Where’s Faith? Isn’t she with you?”

Naomi stared at him, and said slowly, “She’s waiting for you at the house. You told her to.”

Landon scowled, “I told her to come with you here. I never-“

“She got a text from you man,” Jack interjected, starting to look uneasy. “We were about to leave and she said you texted her to wait for you.”

Landon’s blood ran cold, “I lost my phone a few hours ago.”

  He started running towards where

Jack’s car stood, the valet about to sit in.

“Tell Roger,” he shouted over his shoulder as he grabbed the valet by his shirt and bodily tossed him out of the car. Landon cursed under his breath as he raced towards where Faith was.

  ***

  Faith scowled.

She had tried calling Landon but he wasn’t picking up. How could he be so irresponsible?

She moved into the living room, impatient, when she thought she saw a flicker out in the garden outside.

  She blinked.

  Must have been a guard.

She sat down, but she felt uncomfortable, uneasy.

  So, she called Landon again.

The ringtone sounded behind her and she rolled her eyes, “It’s about time, Landon. I was just about-“

As she turned around, the rest of the words got stuck in her throat.

It wasn’t Landon who stood in front of her, but Noah.

A bedraggled looking, Noah, with deep circles under his eyes, unshaven. His hair was scraggly, unkempt.

He didn’t look anything like the man she remembered.

  “Hello, Faith.”

  Faith just stood there, frozen.

“You didn’t reply to my emails.”

  “Noah.”

He smiled at her and she trembled.

It was the same cruel smile that he had worn on his lips the night he had tried to rape her.

However, Faith mustered up her courage, “Why do you have Landon’s phone?”

The smile vanished, only to be replaced by a cold look, “You slept with him. You bitch. After everything I did for you, you left me behind and shacked up with some rich guy.”

  “We broke up, Noah!”

“But you still loved me! I know you did! It’s all that bastard’s fault!”

Faith swallowed, looking around for anything that might function as a potential weapon. Her Taser was upstairs, along with her pepper spray.

  “What do you want, Noah?”

He reached behind him and took out a gun, gesturing towards her, “I’m offering you a chance to redeem yourself and come back to me. Of course,” he commented, casually, “I’ll have to kill your lover.”

“You leave Landon alone. Why are you even doing this? I didn’t press charges even after what you did. I tried to let you rebuild your life.”

“YOU LEFT ME!” He roared at her, his spit flying out, and she saw the madness that lay beneath those green eyes. A terrible madness that made her fear for her and her unborn child’s safety.

She saw a shadow behind Noah, moving outside and she held her breath, trying to distract him, “I left you because it wasn’t working out. You –“

However, Noah was no longer listening to her, his attention towards the clicking of the lock.

Hearing the front door open, Faith saw the familiar shape enter, and saw Noah raise his gun. “NO!”

She jumped towards Noah, angry, desperate to protect Landon and he pushed her away before tossing her like a rag doll into the glass coffee table, causing it to shatter under her.

Limp, Faith struggled to maintain consciousness as she heard Landon’s enraged roar. The struggle that ensued was fast. She couldn’t follow it.

But the moment where Noah raised his gun towards Landon, that moment was imprinted on her mind. Her lips parted to warn him, something, but only blood bubbled out.

As she saw Landon fall and begged him to live for her and their baby, she realized she might just have lost the both of them.

The rest of it was a blur.

Soft hands, angry voices, people shouting.

“Mom.” She heard herself crying for the first time, understanding that she might just have lost something incredible and wanting the warmth and comfort her own mother represented. “I want my Mom.”

Because she had heard the grief stricken scream of a woman and she knew she had just lost Landon.

  ***

  Her eyes opened to white.

  Everything was white.

  Was she dead?

No. Her vision cleared and she saw that she was in a hospital room.

It took her a few seconds to understand what had happened and grief overtook her as she started crying. The machine hooked up to her started beeping and a nurse rushed in moments later.

She seemed relieved to see her awake, “How are you feeling, Miss Williams?”

Faith opened her mouth but only tears came.

Looking a little startled, the young nurse left the room and ushered in a familiar woman.

  “Mom!” Faith cried, hoarsely.

Her mother’s eyes filled and she kissed Faith’s bandaged hand, and then her forehead, “My poor baby. How are you feeling?”

  “Mom, my baby-“

“Your baby is fine, Faith.” Her mother wiped away her tears, gently. “Your young man called me as soon as he was out of surgery. If he hadn’t-“

“Landon’s okay?” Faith’s heart trembled at the news.

“Baby, you’ve been out for two weeks. You broke your leg and hurt yourself pretty badly. Landon was rushed into surgery, immediately. The bullet missed his heart. He’s going to be fine.”

Just then a large commotion outside had her looking up and chuckling, “And I guess he’s back. I’m going to give you two some privacy.”

She slipped out and a frantic Landon burst in.

Seeing her awake, he walked over to her and then kissed her long and hard, stealing all her oxygen, “I love you, Faith.”

Faith blinked and then when she spoke, her voice was broken, “I thought I had lost you both.”

Her unbandaged hand settled on her stomach, “And I realized I really wanted you both.” Tears fell down the sides of her face, as she whispered, “I love you, Landon.”

As Landon covered her hand with his, he leaned his forehead against hers, “Please marry me, Fait
h.”

She just laughed, a soft sound filled with hope.

  Epilogue

Faith studied her stomach in the mirror. The black teddy that she wore was sheer.

It had been given to her by Naomi.

  Which she appreciated.

After all, she had wanted to slowly seduce her husband into ripping it off of her.

“Faith! Melody’s out. Do you want to-“

Landon rounded the corner and when he saw his wife checking herself out in a sheer lace garment, he blinked, “When did you get that?”

“It was a gift. What do you think?”

Landon walked up to her and then pushed her hair over her shoulder, leaving her nape bare to him and planted a soft kiss there. “Not bad.”

“Not bad?” Faith scowled. “It’s so sexy. What more do you-“

Her mouth was stolen in a hot kiss which was all tongue and teeth and lips, and as her knees buckled, Landon held her against him.

She pulled away, and gasped for breath, “I thought you said-“

  “Faith?”

  “Hmm?”

Landon lifted her legs up to wrap around his waist as he walked towards the wall. A soft gasp left her lips as her back met the cold wall.

“I’m going to have to ask you to stop using your mouth for anything that is not begging or pleading or my name.”

Faith laughed softly, “I was planning to seduce you.”

Her laughter faded into moan as two thick fingers found their way inside of her pussy and started pumping.

Landon just studied her face intensely, “Consider me seduced, kitten.”

She had nothing to say as helpless sounds left her throat as her climax approached. Just as she was about to tip over the edge, those fingers withdrew and Faith growled in disappointment.

She didn’t get much of a chance to express her disappointment, not when Landon started kissing her neck and breasts. He was gentle with the latter, knowing she was still breastfeeding, but one of hands was below, toying with her clit, dangling her over a precarious edge.

“I don’t hear you begging, kitten.”

Faith clenched tufts of his hair in a tight grip, “Put it in me, Landon, or I swear I’m going to-“

She was suddenly full to the brim and as his cock stroked in and out, brushing every sensitized nerve, she came apart, gasping his name.

But her husband was far from done.

  He had just started.

He started pumping in like a jackhammer and she barely came down from her previous high before another orgasm grabbed her in its hold.

His hold was firm, so that she didn’t hurt her back on the wall, but Landon’s movements were harsh and Faith just held on for the ride.

When she came to, she was lying in bed on top of her husband, both their hearts racing.

“I like the teddy,” Landon told her.

“Yes, well. You deserved something special on our wedding night.”

“You realize that was just round one,” Landon smirked.

  Faith laughed, “I’m not surprised.”

She kissed his chest, tenderly, “I’m glad we decided to wait till the wedding.”

Landon smiled at her, “Our baby is the most beautiful baby girl in the whole world.”

He beamed with pride and Faith snorted, “Oh yeah? Wait till she discovers boys.”

“Boys? What boys? There will be no boys.” He sounded almost horrified.

“You think parenting is going to be easy just because you have a daughter? If I start recounting the number of times I sneaked out to a party, or when I tried to smoke-“

Seeing her husband go pale, Faith started laughing, “I’m sure it won’t be that bad. I mean, I’ll make sure Naomi doesn’t give her any ideas.”

“Naomi.” Landon hissed her name like she was the devil. “We have to keep her away from Melody.”

Faith shrugged, “Good luck telling her she can’t interact with her goddaughter.”

“Relax, Landon. Melody is only five months old. The only thing Naomi can teach her right now is to spit on you.” Faith rolled her eyes.

“Roger taught her that,” Landon winced.

Faith shook her head, but then she sighed, “Who knew I’d end up living in one of the houses that I built. Almost ironic.”

“Is it?” Landon mused, his hand stroking the curve of her back. “I’m more surprised that Roger decided to retire right along with me.”

“Well, he enlisted because of you. You’re his brother.”

“John’s disappointed.” Landon laughed. “He had hoped Roger would leave.”

Faith grinned, “What I find funny is that Melody has everyone wrapped around her little finger and John has Melody wrapped around his little finger. She adores him.”

“She adores me too.” Landon protested.

“Ah. But not like she adores John. He might just end up being her first crush. Where are you going?” She asked him when he made to leave.

“Just a small matter of killing John in his sleep. I’ll be right back.”

“Get back here!” Faith laughed and then sighed in pleasure as Landon slipped his hard cock inside of her.

This time their love making was soft and sweet, where they declared their love as their bodies moved together. This time Faith did not close her eyes, but let Landon see the raw pleasure in them as he used his hands and mouth to push her along.

She whispered, cried and fell over the edge and then dragged him along with her.

“I love you, Faith.” He whispered to her.

She kissed him on his chest, right above his heart.

  THE END

  The Virgin’s Arrangement - Teaser

  Chapter One

Claudia Vaughn sighed as she stepped out of her outfit for the night. She undid the straps of her shoes, kicked them off and sighed as she rubbed the soles of her feet. She felt like her feet might just burst because of how much they hurt, but she knew that was just part of the job. No pain, no gain as their boss would say.

Claudia reached behind her back and undid the zipper a little to feel like she was able to breathe because these outfits were just getting tighter, and tighter, and it was getting harder and harder to breathe in them. She supposed she shouldn’t complain. She was after all Madame Sauri’s right hand woman.

Madame Sauri was formidable despite her small stature. She was a Chinese woman who had fled to America to evade her abusive husband, and managed to start a successful business as the owner of one of the finest establishments in China Town. La Chambre de Plaisir.

La Chambre de Plaisir was well known all over the district because of how high end it actually was. It catered to those with very specific needs, and Madame Sauri with her hazel eyes, dark hair pulled into a no nonsense bun, and her ability to haggle like a true New Yorker was legendary in many circles. It was why Claudia had showed up at her doorstep one day, soaked to the bone with little more than the clothes on her back, and a point to prove.

Madame Sauri had eyed her suspiciously before she let her in and listened to her proposal. After Claudia was done, Madame Sauri walked up to her, looked her up and down then smiled.

From then on, they were partners. It was Madame Sauri who started the establishment, but Claudia helped her build it from the ground up. Once upon a time, she had gone to a business school, so she had a keen eye for specific details, and she was able to use what she learned in business school to help the place become successful.

Men came here from all over the world with very specific tastes, and in most cases, they were able to find someone to satisfy him. It wasn’t a whore house as many people thought, rather it was a gentleman’s club that was home to a very specific kind of pleasure.

Before arriving here, Claudia had no idea just how many men were into BDSM, but now that she was right in the middle of it all, she was still surprised every single time. Not that she thought there was anything wron
g with it, she just always thought they were much a smaller group.

When she came to Madame Sauri, they agreed that Claudia would handle the clientele and occasionally perform on the stage, but she was not for sale. Claudia was a virgin, and she was part French on her mothers’ side, so that made her very sought after, but she was adamant that she stay behind the scenes, and far away from the greedy eyes of men who devoured her with their eyes. She knew that she could never put herself in that position because of her past, and the way things turned out for her.

Claudia breathed deeply as she began to massage her neck and make her way down the hall to her room. She ran into Madame Sauri on her way down the hall, and they detoured to their office where they shared a drink.

Madame Sauri lifted her leg up on one of the chairs and began to rub them. “Is good night for us, tonight.”

“Yeah, Chastity did really well. I told you she had massive potential.”

“So you did.” Madame Sauri tilted her head and acknowledged her. “She seem like silly girl when she come, can you blame me?”

Claudia gave her a rueful smile. “No, I can’t say that I can. I think she more than proved that she is worth it. I saw one or two men with their jaws on the floor, and one of them took out his check book, so they’ll probably be making an offer very soon.”

Madame Sauri knocked back her drink and smacked her lips. “Sooner than you think. They come by today. Very good sum, but I think we wait for a few more days, they become desperate, they offer more money, and Chastity has chance to make up mind.”

Claudia tipped her glass. “I agree completely. We shouldn’t rush into it. What about Lacey? How is she doing?”

Madame Sauri looked like she ate something sour. “Lacey not doing so well today. She look sick this morning, but I think is just nerves. She threw up before show and insisted she go on though I tell her to rest. She not do so well on stage, but you know Lacey. They love her.”

Claudia nodded as she leaned back in her chair and took a huge gulp of her coke and rum. “I’ll check on her on my way out. I’ll see if she needs a doctor as well.”
