Undeniable: A Friends To Lovers Romance (Love Desired Book 4) Page 17

by Cassie Verano

  “Here,” I said.

She accepted the glass wordlessly and took a few sips. I licked the lip of the bottle before kneeling at her feet.

My hand cupped her pussy as I looked up at her. “Girl, let me get a sip of that,” I said.

Peyton poured a little into my mouth and leaned down to lick my lips.

“I only want you, Bryce,” she whispered against my lips.

Pulling away from our kiss, I pushed her back up to standing.

“Take off this dress,” I ordered.

She pulled the cotton dress up her body and tossed it onto the floor. I licked at her sweet pussy lips again and suckled at them.

“Open,” I said when a shudder ran through her causing her to clench her legs.

When she spread them wider, I inserted the mouth of the bottle inside of her, watching as her eyes widened, holding questions in them that I wouldn’t answer.

Licking my lips, I shoved the bottle up just a little more as her eyes grew moist, and her lips hung open.

I pulled the bottle back out and licked it, closing my eyes, loving the way her juices tasted on the lip of the bottle.

“This drink right here...” I said, lifting the bottle. “This shit’s addictive.”

Concern colored Peyton’s blue eyes, darkening them just a bit.

I slid the bottle back inside of her, watching in patient satisfaction as her breath caught in her chest again. Slowly, I moved the bottle up and down inside of her just an inch.

I moved it a little more until she clenched, looking uncomfortable. Twisting and turning the bottle, a smile covered my lips as I watched her drip.

I removed the bottle, not wanting to lose any more of that good stuff.

Licking my tongue out, I caught the bead of moisture clinging to her pussy and licked it away. My lips closed around her clit, tugging on it, working it to give her the pleasure that caused her head to drop to the side.

“Ever been fucked with a bottle before?” I asked crudely.

Peyton’s heart-shaped dusty rose lips partially opened closed and then opened again as she shook her head “no.” Long golden-reddish-brown curls flew wildly around her head as she gapped her legs open, begging for more.

“Freak,” I muttered before sliding the bottle inside of her again.

I fucked her with the bottle for a couple of more minutes before I couldn’t take it any longer. I needed more.

Taking the glass from her hand, I sipped some more and then offered it to her. Peyton took a couple of sips before I removed it and downed the last of the red wine.

Tossing the glass onto the carpeted floor, I pushed her shoulder, forcing her to the floor the way I’d done earlier. She kneeled obediently and grabbed my dick in her hands.

“Nah,” I said, pulling myself out of her hand. “Lay down.”

“Okay,” she whimpered, lying on the floor.

Moving between her legs, I tried to force the images out of my head of how she reacted to me at the party.

  “Let me go deep, Pey.”

Her legs obediently opened and wrapped around my back as I dove in, digging as deep as I could.

“I’m gon’ excavate some shit tonight,” I growled as I lifted and lowered, rubbing all inside of her.

My mind wrestled with my dick to not give in to the warm, soft feeling of her pussy enveloped around my dick with nothing between us. Just straight raw.

Peyton’s arms and legs wrapped around me, encased me tightly as if she were scared she might lose me. The heat of our bodies drove my temperature up a few notches.

Sweat dripped from my temples, falling into her hair.

“Look at me,” I ordered. “I want you to know that it’s me fucking that pussy tonight. Ain’t no other dude up in this pussy but me. You hear me?”

  She nodded.

“No, I want to hear you, PJ. No other dick in this pussy but mine. Right?”

“No other dick, Bryce. I swear.”

“My ass. Tell me that’s my ass, and it’s off-limits to every dick, but this one,” I said.

“This is all your ass, Bryce.”

I lowered my head to kiss her, biting her lip, pissed about her licking what she thought was another man’s private parts. Why couldn’t I get that damned image out of my mind?

Pumping, pumping, and stroking. That’s all I could do to erase the thought from my mind that she could have been laying up with someone else other than me.

My hips swiveled in circles as I tried to erase all memories of any other man out of her head. She was all inside of my head now, and I couldn’t do a damned thing about it.

This was exactly why I’d always tried to avoid relationships. This shit right here? I couldn’t handle it.

I pushed Peyton’s legs down as I lifted higher and forced her to unlock them from my back. Splaying them wide open with my hands at the apex of her thighs, I slammed into her at a rapid pace.

“Fuck!” she screamed, beating her hand on the floor, and then pressing her fist against her mouth.

I reached up and moved her hand. “Nah, you don’t get to hide. I want to hear all your screams tonight. And I’ma make sure you know it’s me tonight. Eating this cake, beating up this pussy, and fucking that ass,” I said, slipping out of her.

Smacking her hip, I said, “Flip over.”

She obeyed, and I spread her ass open. Perfect.

My finger slid inside of her, twisting and turning, prompting her to shove back and moan. I slid a second finger inside, repeating the movements of the first.

Then I slid her ass apart with my hands, my dick twitching at the redness of her little pink hole. I spit inside of it, watching it coat her hole and dribble down the sides of her ass.

Then I took the plunge. My tongue licked all around Peyton’s hole, my lips sucking at her ass, as she purred like a kitty. My tongue licked her hole, competing with the motion of my fingers inside of her pussy to see which would make her cum first.

“Bryce!” she moaned, her shoulders and upper body falling flat to the floor as she pushed her ass higher, into my face.

Rolling my head in circles, I licked all around her ass, pressing my tongue against her hole and licking it until it spread open wider. Just a little more pressure, and more. Until I slid my tongue inside of her.

A high, keening wail escaped her as her body shivered. I worked my tongue in and out, sucking her ass, nipping the tender skin all around there.

Damn, I couldn’t get enough of this woman. This woman who I wasn’t sure wanted to be mine.

“I have to cum,” she moaned.

I slid my fingers out of her slit and squeezed her ass all around my face as I went to work, munching her ass, licking it, and burying my lips and tongue inside of her crease. Her body shook with her sweet release, as she cried and said my name over and over again.

Pulling back, I wasn’t done with her yet. Holding my dick in my hands, I aimed it at her now soaking wet asshole, and I pushed inside of her, reveling in the tightness and the heat of her ass.

Peyton’s olive-colored skin was covered in red marks all over. Her ass, thighs, back, shoulders, breasts, and hips bore the markings of me staking my claim tonight.

When I finished, she kneeled in front of me to take me into her mouth. I fucked her throat until it was raw, shooting my seed down her throat.

After I’d finished, I pulled out, and she opened her mouth wide, showing my semen inside of her mouth. And then she swallowed it, one gulp at a time.

She claimed she only wanted to be mine and to love me. But tonight, I wasn’t so sure about that. When I was done with her, she was sore, and she knew for sure that I claimed her.

We didn’t have sex or make love. There was nothing intimate about what happened between us. It was raw passion as I continued to struggle to hide what I was feeling.

Tonight, I’d fucked her. Thoroughly. Every orifice. And at some point when I thought I heard the door to the library open, I was so caught up I didn’t ev
en give a damn.

I was more than sure that it was one of her friends. And I had no doubt they’d go and find some dick, too, if they saw the way I was laying it on Peyton.

“Why were you so rough with me tonight?” she asked, grasping my face in her hands and staring at me after we’d finished.

I couldn’t allow her to see the pain etched in my eyes. She couldn’t know how deeply she’d hurt me with the way she behaved at the party. Peyton couldn’t understand how deep my pain flowed, or how deep that wound went, would be to know how much control she had over me. It would reveal my true feelings, and I wasn’t ready for that.

Instead, I chose to use that pain and hurt her. “Why were you so loose tonight?”

Peyton lifted her hand to slap me, but I’d already predicted that move. I caught her off-guard, grabbing her wrist before she could hit me.

“Let’s get one thing straight, Peyton. You’ve never known me to hit a girl, but that doesn’t mean I won’t. If your ass is grown enough to try me, then be grown enough to accept what you’ve got coming back.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” she asked in an angry tone, her face flushing red.

“That means don’t put your damned hands on me. If you hit me, I hit your ass back. I don’t play that game with nobody.”

“You can’t talk to me that way. I’m not loose!”

“That’s exactly what the hell you were tonight at that party. I don’t give a damned if it was some bachelorette party; you still have a certain set of morals you need to uphold. Especially if you’re going to be my woman, I’d expect you to represent me at all times, just like I represent you.”

“I don’t know what I’m going to be, Bryce. You don’t act as if you want me. Wanting me means claiming me. Every little piece of me, including my heart until our hearts are intertwined, and yours beats for me, and when yours stop mine takes over.”

I was certain that the rigid line of my jaw and the set of my lips let her know that I was still angry with her for that shit she pulled tonight.

“I’m giving you all I’ve got, Peyton.”

“Well, maybe that’s not good enough.”

I scoffed and shook my head. “Yeah?”

“Yes,” she said, rushing to grab her dress from the floor and tugging it on before she left the room.

“You don’t know where you’re going!” I called after her.

“I’ll find my way!” she shouted, slamming the door closed.

We both needed to find our way. Find our way to the truth that lay between us. Because of the way we were going at it, we’d be lucky if our friendship was still intact when this ended.

  CHAPTER 25 – PEYTON

QUAINT. INTIMATE. THAT’S what Gianna’s celebration was, and I was proud of her. My friend had changed a lot since becoming involved with Bishop.

She wasn’t the same young girl she’d been before, so consumed with image and influence. And it showed in her wedding ceremony.

Gianna’s parents and her sisters, Yasmin, Parisa, Rosana, and Mahin sat in the first circle of chairs, and opposite them was Bryce and his parents.

Gianna and Bishop stood along with the pastor in the middle of the semi-circle made up of their immediate family.

The second circle of chairs comprised the people that Bishop and Gianna considered their inner circle, which included: Aaliyah, Dior, Seda, Melissa, Kole, Silver, Darnell, Gina, Zymir, Karina, Carmen, Will, Kole, Laurel, and me.

In a larger outer circle were members of both of their extended families.

With sand and what appeared to be a thousand candles twinkling in the evening light, Bishop and Gianna exchanged their vows.

Her one of a kind, sleeveless, spaghetti strap white wedding gown was exquisite and sexy. I admired her ability to wear the daring dress with the deep plunging, sweetheart neckline, which stopped just inches above her navel.

Every inch of the sheer lace gown hugged her curves tightly like a second skin. The skirt flared out at her shins in a pool of fettered silk fringe, creating a sweeping train. The gown was backless with her spaghetti straps forming a V to connect to a loop at her low back. Two tasseled feathers hung off the ends of each strap over her shoulders.

A beautiful lace and tulle cloak clasped at her neck with one seed pearl. My friend was stunning and should have been on someone’s walkway. Well, today she was.

A walkway designed of love because she was willing to change and open her heart to love. And because the man who now gazed on her with tears in his eyes was ready to relinquish the pain of his past to love her the way she needed to be loved. Unconditionally with all her flaws.

Bishop was handsome in his black tux with his shiny locs hanging loosely around his shoulders.

“Girl, here,” Dior whispered, pressing a handkerchief into my hands. “Should’ve known it would be you to be bawling like this at a wedding.”

I laughed, thanked her for the handkerchief, and dabbed at my eyes, careful not to muss my makeup.

Although I was happy for Gianna and Bishop, my tears weren’t for them. The tears I shed were for Bryce and me because we couldn’t see our way past our baggage to get it together.

It seemed as if we would be just fine walking away from the love of a lifetime rather than putting our issues on the shelf. In my heart, I knew this was the same thing we’d gone through before.

In college, my self-esteem wasn’t where it should have been, and I didn’t want him to miss out on opportunities for me. A weak woman who didn’t know her worth. Not when there were stronger women who were ready to stand by his side no matter what came.

I pushed those thoughts aside as the sweet music from the hired violinists and saxophonist created a sweet melody. The amazing music paired with the candlelight made the night special and romantic.

Although I was sure her dress was priceless because Silver made it, and his tux was pricey because it was custom made, everything else was relatively simple. Just the way they both wanted it.

The smiles on their faces as they said, “I do” and slid the rings on one another’s fingers, let everyone know that even if they lost everything, it wouldn’t matter as long as they had one another.

That was the type of love I wanted. The love I knew I didn’t have with Jacob.

Jacob, who’d been blowing my phone up since I’d been out of town. I hadn’t returned his texts or phone calls.

I would deal with that upon my return. And that, too, would happen sooner than anyone else knew. I would be catching a ride back home with Seda and Dior, unbeknownst to Bryce.

I partied through the reception like everyone else and enjoyed myself.

Unwittingly I walked up on a heated conversation between Bryce and his mother. The reception was still going strong in the back entertainment room that led onto the deck.

I’d stepped away to use the bathroom when I heard my name.

Stopping outside of the kitchen, I pressed one hand against the wall and rested my head there, listening.

  “...Peyton and you.”

“Mom, she’s my friend. I’m not trying to be locked down like that with anyone.”

“Bryce, it’s time for you to lock down, as you said. You’re not getting younger, and you need to find a good woman who’s going to support your growth.”

“And you don’t think Peyton’s the one?”

“It’s not that I don’t think she is, Bryce. But I’m not so convinced that you believe she is. Is she just another toy or someone you’re using to satisfy my desire to see you in a relationship? Because if she’s that, you need to stop. That’s not satisfying me.”

“She’s a woman. A person with feelings, Mom. Not a ‘that.’”

“What I saw last night is a ‘that.’”

“What’re you even talking about?” Bryce asked as his voice grew in outrage.

“I saw the two of you last night. In the library.”

My stomach turned over upon hearing her revelation.

What do you mean you saw us, Mom?”

“I...saw the two of you in a compromising position. You didn’t look as if you respected her.”

“Ma, I’m sorry. I was just...” I heard him say.

I couldn’t take it anymore. It was wrong for me to be eavesdropping in the first place. Turning, I ran in the opposite direction and took the stairwell to the bedroom I’d shared with Gianna. The one I was supposed to have to myself tonight after she and Bishop left for their honeymoon in Santorini.

The one that I’d hoped he could sneak into at some point. If I didn’t sneak into his room first.

Upon arriving in the bedroom, I hurriedly packed my bags, wanting to leave even sooner now. I’d go back downstairs to the reception and ask Dior for her keys.

There would be questions. Of that, there was no doubt. I’d simply tell her I wanted to make sure that my bags were already in the trunk when she was ready to leave. And I’d hide out until it was time to go.

Anything to hide from the censure I heard in his mother’s voice and the shame of being caught in the act. Not to mention the regret I could hear in Bryce’s voice.

  “What are you doing?”

His voice was tired as if he had no fight left in him. And if that were the case, I didn’t know what I could do about that. I needed him to fight for us because I couldn’t do it alone.

Tossing a nightie into the bag I packed, I turned around and faced him.

  “Getting my things ready.”

“But you don’t leave until tomorrow.”

I smiled sadly at him. “Plans have changed.”

  “Why?”

Shrugging, I said, “I don’t think I need to be here any longer, Bryce. I saw my friend get married, and now it’s time for me to return home. To my store. My life.”

“Your life?” he asked, walking inside the room. “Does that include me?”

The look in his eyes was breaking my heart.

  “I don’t know, Bryce.”

  “Why not?”

“It’s not my life that you should be worried about, but yours. Seems there’s no room left in it for me.”

He reached out and touched my shoulder, straightening the strap of my dress. “That’s not true.”
