Marcus and the knights from Joshuar flew in on Ryxa’s back, puzzled by the sight of all the horses without riders that surrounded the kingdom. People and knights from Leeander had started to exit the kingdom, desperately hoping that the siege was truly over and not some enchanted trick.

EPILOG
Knights from Joshuar discovered that most of their family members had survived their ordeal. They had been slaves in the mines digging coal for the Yurrosy. They had assumed that all had been killed, so it was a wonderful surprise.
Although their kingdom had been destroyed, they were now in the process of rebuilding. It would take years to get it right but with the help of Marcus and a few dragons they were determined to see the kingdom big and strong once again. Joshuar would rise again.
Alexa and Stone were married and in less than a year had a little girl named Abbey. King Darius was so happy that his daughter had finally settled down, although it was, of course, her version of settling down. Whenever Stone was sent out on a quest she was right by his side, she insisted, and the king was always happy to watch over his granddaughter. The king acquiesced and made Alexa their first woman knight.
Ryxa ended up with Ashkoor and now sits on her first batch of eggs, ten in all. She discovered that the purple dragon had changed his ways. It had been the impetuousness of youth although she did catch him trying to sit on her eggs. Marcus has volunteered to be a babysitter and is invited to the hatching.
Although the boy has a long way to go, he is on his way to becoming an adept wizard. He’s powered up their shield, but occasionally it does malfunction for no reason and on nights when the moon is full it seems to call thousands of deer into the kingdom. Adorok’s ghost shows up now and then to aid in his tutelage. And he’s also learning to use the sword that Stone has forged for him; Alexa has a lot of fun knocking him on his ass when Ryxa isn’t around.
While progressing further into the mountain, Ash discovered a tome that was immune to his fire and while perusing it with his mother came upon a section that told about two dragons. One was good and one evil; a battle with the world hanging in the balance.
They both wondered if Ash was the good dragon that the book mentioned.
“Time will tell,” said Ella.
