She Got It Bad for a Heartless Gangsta 4 Page 29

by Shvonne Latrice

“I was looking for you too.” I hugged her then kissed her cheek, before hugging Kito and kissing their super adorable son. He looked exactly like Kito, from his features, to his deep chocolate skin, but had Bia’s wild curly hair in black.

“Say hi, man,” Kito told their son.

“Hi.” He smirked flirtatiously at me before looking away bashfully. He was gonna be a heartbreaker for sure.

“Hey, Draylah.” Taya smiled, reaching for a hug, and I hugged her back.

Taya had been doing much better now too. She was currently going to college at USC and making straight A’s. That part wasn’t a surprise because despite her questionable behavior, Taya had always been at the top of her class. As for Flow, that nigga had fallen off the face of the Earth after ruining his career by fucking with Taya and being known for getting his chain snatched by Ricky.

“Hey, cutie.” I pulled back and looked at the man standing next to Taya.

“Oh, this is my boyfriend, Logan.” Taya blushed.

“Nice to meet you, Draylah. Is umm… Ricky around? I want an autograph,” he stated bluntly, and I pointed to where Ricky was conversing with some old white man while holding hands with Lily.

Taya and Logan walked off in Ricky’s direction, and Bia and I gave one another looks before laughing.

We went to have a seat at one of the tables outside to watch Indigo perform, and Kattlyn and Angie joined us. I didn’t even know they were here yet, but I guess they’d just arrived.

“Hi!” I grinned, standing back to hug Kattlyn tightly and then my cousin Angie. “And hi to you too, Michaela.” I smiled at Kattlyn and MG’s one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, just as MG walked up and hugged Kattlyn from behind.

Those two had gotten married shortly after Bia and I had our weddings. Kattlyn was pregnant during ours, so she wanted to wait until her body got back slim before having hers.

Like Bia, Kattlyn’s story was another to be admired. She was now a top of the line chef, and she even did appearances sometimes in different states. I had no idea being a cook was as lucrative as a career as it was. I guess going back to school after receiving her first certificate, really came in handy, because Kattlyn knew all that there was to know about food, and people paid to eat hers.

“Can I hold her, Dad?” Michael asked to hold his little sister.

“She’s too big for that, man. But sit down and I’ll put her next to you,” MG replied, and Michael hurriedly did as he was told. He loved his little sister, and it was so cute. Michaela was a firecracker just like Camellia, so she definitely bossed her big brother around, which was hilarious.

MG was still deep in the rap game and just as successful as ever, but he was currently working with Joaquin to become the head of artist development at Bankroll Records since he was their only successful act right now. He was also doing some ghostwriting for other rappers, which brought in a nice amount of change.

“I hope y’all invited some rich niggas,” Angie commented, making us all shake our heads.

A pregnant Virginia and her man Frisk joined us soon after, and took a seat at the table we were at. The party was packed with people, so although pregnant, Virginia still went around promoting Indigo since she was their manager, and they were up there performing some slow jams for the people on the outside. All the freaks were inside listening to the ratchet shit.

“I had to make another plate.” Virginia sat down in the chair Frisk pulled out for her.

Virginia was a well-known manager now, so she had a few more successful clients. And Frisk was still coming up in the rap game and had gotten pretty far. He decided to sign with Ricky once Bankroll started to lose its spark, and ever since doing so, he’d been doing extremely well.

Wonder and Carla weren’t doing too much these days. Wonder was still Ricky’s deejay, but that whole workout empire was nothing but dust now. I honestly didn’t know what Carla had going on, but after she and Wonder had to pay Virginia some cold hard cash for that sex tape they’d released, Carla didn’t make much noise anymore. They were still married though.

“Your mom didn’t want to come?” I asked Bia.

“No, she has a date. It’s so weird.” She made a face, and we all chortled.

It was good to see Bia’s mother doing well and moving on from her father. That nigga had gone ghost again anyway, and I don’t think his children or now ex-wife even cared.

“We got a date too,” Kito said lowly to Bia before kissing her neck while holding their son in his lap. Bia blushed so hard that you could physically see the redness in her cheeks.

Everybody was here tonight except Qamar and his new wife, Genesis. There was no bad blood, but we had to choose between inviting Qamar or Bia, and since I had the pussy, my vote always won. I would always choose Bia to come somewhere over Qamar. No way would I not invite my friend to something when the whole reason this restraining order was in place was because of Qamar and his inability to let a sleeping dog lie.

As for Qamar and his career, it was back to doing well, and he was letting everyone know. I can’t remember the last time he went a day without posting a video on Instagram of him and Genesis flashing money. His son Lace was so cute, even though he looked exactly like Qamar, as well as his other son with some random girl. That baby’s name was Qadeem I heard.

Qamar stayed true to his word and didn’t deal with his kids. And oh, you’d better not mention them in his presence, because he’d get pissed. His mother and father were doing well with Lace though, especially since MG and Ricky broke them off occasionally. His mom still tried every now and again to convince Qamar to come through but he wasn’t budging. And Genesis was now pregnant, but it looked like Qamar was okay with it since she was now about seven months.

“Aight, aight, the photographer wants a picture.” Ricky came out of the house with Lily and sat next to me. I put Frederick in my lap, and Ricky held Lily on one knee and Camellia on the other.

All of our friends, their significant others, and their kids, all scooted in for the picture, and then we all smiled widely after yelling ‘cheese.’

“I can’t wait until this fucking party is over so I can put this dick in you. Put another baby in you,” Ricky whispered into my ear before kissing it.

“Or you can put your dick in me now.” I laughed when he bucked his eyes like ‘word?’ before we pecked one another slowly and repeatedly.

“Ewww!” Lily called out to us kissing.

“What you say?” Ricky began to claw her stomach, making her squeal and laugh, which in turn caused everyone in earshot to chuckle as well.

I watched them for a little bit, just before Ricky kissed Camellia who was talking a bunch of nonsense as she sat in her father’s lap. Frederick Jr. was too busy eating off my plate in front of him. Ricky then pretended as if he was gonna claw Camellia, because he knew she hated it.

“No, Daddy! No! I don’t like!” Camellia snapped, raising her small fist to Ricky with her chubby face balled. Everyone at the table doubled over in laughter and shock, but I was used to Camellia’s feisty behavior. She was definitely more of a Rickeisha than a delicate camellia flower.

Ricky let Lily down off his lap so she could get a cupcake off the table next to us, and then he held Camellia up.

“Aye, who you getting tough with, huh?” Ricky hissed, before doing a raspberry on Camellia’s neck and making her shriek with laughter.

“Look who her parents are? Are y’all surprised?” Angie commented, and everyone simultaneously spoke up to agree.

“No, my baby boy is sweet, huh?” I kissed the side of Frederick Jr.’s face. He looked up at me, chewing his food, but said nothing as if he didn’t agree.

“Ricky was like him at that age, so don’t get your hopes up,” Ricky’s grandmother replied giggling.

“You a gangsta, huh, Junior?” Frisk looked to my baby boy who had the nerve to nod his little head, making Ricky cheese so hard that everyone laughed.

I laid my head on Ricky’s sho
ulder, and then kissed the side of his tattoo covered neck. His smell, his voice, his presence, was just everything to me… I did and always would have it bad for a heartless gangsta…
