Chapter 1
Ray Parker sat behind his desk in the security business he owned. In his hand was another clue sent from Salvador Esteban, the man committed to seeking revenge for incidents that had occurred a long time ago. His plan included exacting this revenge on Trent, Ray's surrogate little brother and the biological younger brother of his two friends. Ray already knew this ordeal would not end peacefully and was prepared for whatever the outcome was going to be.
There was a knock on his door and Trent entered smiling.
"Hey Ray."
Ray looked up. "What's up Little Bruh?"
"Just finished the guest list for my party and ran all the security checks," Trent informed him.
Ray nodded. "Everybody check out?"
Trent smiled. "Yeah."
"Did you try to invite every female at USC?" Ray asked.
Trent shrugged. "Nah, just the bad ones."
Ray laughed. "Yeah, that's how I would select them too."
"I'm not trying to get with them, just have some fun," Trent explained.
Ray sat back and nodded. "Is there a reason you're not trying to get with any of them?"
Trent smiled broadly. "Yeah."
"Does that reason sit out in my lobby?" Ray asked.
"Yeah..."
Ray raised a brow. "Where is the nose opener?"
"I'm not confused anymore," Trent told him and Ray nodded.
"Don't make me kick your ass Trent," he warned.
Trent smiled again. "I've got this Ray."
"Okay." Ray gave him a look.
Ray's phone buzzed and his assistant Callie informed him of the arrival of Agent Marcus Graham. Ray instructed her to send him back to his office then glanced up at Trent.
"I need to meet with Marc."
Trent nodded and headed towards the door where he met Marc. The two exchanged greetings as Trent exited closing the door behind him. Marc came and took a seat across from Ray's desk unbuttoning his dark tailored Armani suit jacket before making himself comfortable. His Patek Philippe platinum watch reflected the sunlight streaming through the window.
"Hey Ray," he greeted.
Ray looked him over taking in the dark sunglasses and John Lobb Becketts on his feet. "You must be the flashiest FBI agent at the Bureau."
Marc shrugged. "I've got good taste."
Ray laughed. "How the hell do you fight crime dressed like a damn fashion model?"
"I'm just that good."
"You learned from the best," Ray boasted.
Marc nodded. "Yes, I did and I still am."
Ray nodded. "What do you have on the missing women?"
"All the clues have been bogus as we suspected. Esteban's not going to let us find them before he's done with you," Marc reported. "I'm still following up on other potential leads."
"Okay." Ray leaned back. "How's the Milton Martin investigation going?"
"I'm visiting him today. I want hear what lies he's going to tell me."
"I'm sure there will be many," Ray affirmed.
Marc waited a moment.
"You're involved with his daughter?" he asked cautiously.
Ray tilted his head. "Yeah, I am," he responded slowly.
"Is this going to be a problem?" Marc questioned quietly.
"No."
Marc nodded and Ray continued. "Stay away from Isabelle. She has nothing to do with that," he warned.
"If that's the case, then you have nothing to be concerned about."
Ray gave him a hard stare. "If it's not the case, then I know that I'll be the first to know about it," he said pointedly.
"Of course, that goes without saying," Marc responded.
Ray backed off. "Good. Let's get down to business."
*********
Trent exited Ray's office and headed to Callie's desk. He leaned on the counter smiling down at her as she was typing information into her computer.
"Hey Callie."
She didn't look up. "Hey Trent, did you need something?"
"Yeah..." he said softly licking his lips.
At his tone, Callie stopped and looked up at him. "Not at work. Ray will fire both of our asses."
"Ray won't fire you. He'd kill somebody for you."
"Well I don't want that to be you, so go do your work before you get both of us in trouble."
Trent tilted his head studying her. "You want to."
Callie shook her head. "Stop."
Trent shrugged. "Okay. I'm just going to go into my office and do my work."
"Okay. Good."
Trent turned and walked into his office closing the door. He smiled as he took his seat turning to his computer. He thought about Callie and smiled some more. He'd fallen for her- hard. She was everything he'd ever wished for in his life, wrapped in one little fine ass package. Since the night of Sean's wedding when he'd confessed his feelings for her, they'd been inseparable. His Wonder Woman had been completely replaced by a Shero. He’d spoken with Isis and informed her of his new relationship with Callie and so far everything had been cool.
Five minutes later, there was a brief knock at his door. "Come in," he called.
The door opened and Callie entered with a folder in her hand. She closed the door behind her locking it and then leaned against it while staring at him across the room.
"I brought the file you wanted," she told him.
Trent lifted a brow. "Which file is that?"
Callie lifted a brow in return. "Do you want it?" she asked looking at him with sexy dark eyes.
Trent smiled and looked her over in gray dress slacks and a white shirt that buttoned down the front. On her feet were black three-inch heels. Her dark hair was perfec
tly styled in her signature bob and those dark eyes teased him.
His dark eyes locked with hers. "Yeah, I want it."
Callie walked around his desk to where he sat in the chair. She dropped the folder on the desk and climbed onto his lap facing him.
"If we're going to get fired, you should make it worthwhile," she told him wrapping her arms around his neck.
Trent pulled her closer. "See, this is why you got my head all messed up."
She looked down at him. "You've got my head messed up too baby." Callie lowered her head tasting his lips. Trent responded by returning her kiss and running his hands over her body beginning at her back down to her butt.
"Why did you wear pants today?" he complained against her lips.
"Because someone would be trying to put their hands under my skirt, that's why."
"That's okay." He loosened the top button of her blouse then the next until the tops of her breasts and her black lace bra were exposed then made quick work of the rest. Trent started by kissing her neck then made a trail down to the waiting mounds. He ran his tongue along the contours before she arched her back pressing herself further into his body.
Trent lifted his head and pinned her with that sexy dark gaze. She watched as his hand came up to caress her soft mound and she sighed.
"Callie..." he breathed as he lowered his head.
The quick knock at the door and turning of the knob froze them both.
"Trent! If Callie's in there both your asses are fired! Open this damn door!" Ray roared.
Callie's eyes widened as she looked at Trent before they both jumped from the chair.
"Get under the desk Callie." Trent told her and she quickly folded herself underneath the large desk while fixing her blouse.
Trent fixed his pants and went to the door opening it for Ray.
"What's up Ray?" he asked.
Ray pushed past him looking around the room. "Where's Callie?"
Trent scratched his head. "Maybe she's in the ladies room or she might have stepped out to get something to eat? I don't know. I was in here."
Ray looked him up and down. "What were you doing in here with the door locked?"
Trent looked down. "It's, uh embarrassing," he said quietly.
"Are you doing hand jobs in my office?" Ray questioned roughly.
Trent nodded then shrugged. "It's been a long time Ray."
"Do that at home." He turned to walk out. "Don't lock this damn door again!"
Trent lowered his head again. "Okay. Sorry Ray."
Ray walked back to his office and Trent waited until he closed the door before shutting the door and rushing over to Callie.
"You can come out baby," he said helping her up.
"I told you!" she whispered harshly once she was on her feet.
Trent pulled her into his arms. "I know. I'm moving into my apartment this weekend so..."
She smiled at him hugging him back. "You ready baby?" she asked.
"Always." He smiled down at her.
"We'll see."
Trent kissed her briefly. "You'd better get back out there."
She kissed him back. "Yeah, I should."
He pulled her closer against his body. "I think we're going to get fired Callie."
"Probably," She rubbed against him. "Is it worth it?"
Trent looked down at her and they both smiled saying, "Yeah...it is."
*********
Ray returned to his office and dropped into his chair. These damn kids were going to be the death of him. He shook his head as his phone rang. Glancing at the screen, he smiled.
"Hello Belle," he answered.
"Hello Ray. Am I interrupting you?" Isabelle asked.
"No Goddess. What can I do for you...or to you?"
On the other end of the phone, Isabelle blushed. "Lots of things," she whispered.
"Do you enjoy those things?" he asked.
"Oh my, yes...yes," she breathed.
Ray smiled. "Did you call for me to talk dirty to you or did you need something else?"
"I...I like when you talk dirty to me," she confessed.
Ray leaned back in his chair. "Dr. Martin, you're a good girl."
"I can be bad...for you."
Ray sat up quickly. "Hmmm...Somebody is ready for a more intense lesson, I see."
"Do you think so?" she asked.
"Why don't we find out?"
Isabelle's breathing increased. "When?"
"I want to take you away Belle," Ray told her.
"Take me away? Where?"
"Somewhere I can have you all to myself. May I have you Isabelle?"
Isabelle was silent for a moment. "Yes, you can have me Ray Parker."
Ray smiled. "So you'll go away with me?"
"Are you telling me where we're going?" she asked smiling.
"No. Do you trust me?"
"Yes, I trust you. Will you at least tell me what I need to bring?"
"Nothing."
Isabelle laughed. "I'll need some clothing."
"No. You won't."
"So you're just going to have me walking around in my underwear?" she asked smiling.
"No underwear Belle."
Isabelle caught her breath. "Oh...I hope it's warm then."
"I'm the Sun God. I will make sure it's hot all the time."
"I'm looking forward to that," she said softly.
Ray laughed. "Good. Now what was the reason for your call?"
There was a brief pause.
"I wanted to hear you say my name," she confessed.
Ray stopped then rubbed his chin slowly.
"Why?" he asked.
"Because when you do, it makes me warm...all over."
Ray ran a hand down his face.
"I'll see you soon Isabelle."
"Okay."
Ray disconnected the call and threw his head back on his chair.
"Isabelle...what the hell have you done to me?"
*********
Jordan Black ended the call with his wife Sage, confirming that she was on her way to have lunch with him along with their one-year old daughter, Diamond. He sat in his office signing paperwork as his phone buzzed and he picked it up quickly.
"Yes Kelly."
"Mr. Black, there's a Shana White here asking to see you."
"Who?"
"Shana White. She says that you know her...uh personally?" she relayed uncomfortably.
Jordan's eyes narrowed. "Tell security to bring her up here."
"Yes, Mr. Black."
What the hell was Shana White doing here asking to see him? She had lost her damn mind. Jordan stood and walked to his office door to await her arrival. Since her little show at Sean's engagement party they hadn't heard from her so he was curious as to why she was here now.
Shana showed up dressed to seduce and he lifted his eyebrow as she was escorted to where he was waiting. She sashayed inside his office and he closed the door before turning to her.
"What the hell are you doing here Shana?" he asked.
Shana plopped down on his sofa revealing way too much leg.
"Hey Jordan," she smiled.
Jordan stayed by the door. "Look, my wife is on her way here so you'd better talk fast because I'm putting your ass out in two minutes." He glanced at his watch.
Shana pouted. "I came to see Sean, but he refused to see me. I don't know what his problem is."
"He's smart. Now what do you want?"
She leaned forward exposing her large cleavage. "I need some help Jordan," she said softly.
"What kind of help?"
"Financial."
Jordan folded his arms. "So you came to ask me for money?" he asked.
She smiled looking him over. "I can earn it."
Jordan looked confused. "You have seen my wife?"
"Jordan, all rich dudes have something on the side."
"Not this rich dude."
She stood and walked towards him. "I know you wanted me in high school. I could tell by the
way you used to look at me."
"I was a horny ass teenager and you came to school half naked," he explained.
She touched his tie. "You're not curious Jordan, at all?"
Jordan removed his tie from her hand and stared down at her. "I'll help you this one time Shana, because I never want to see a woman basically prostitute herself."
Shana smiled and he frowned.
"One time; how much do you need?"
"Twenty grand."
Jordan looked shocked. "Twenty Grand! I'm trying to help you out not take care of your ass!"
"Please Jordan. For old times' sake; I need the money."
Jordan looked at his watch again. "Don't bring your ass back here again Shana."
"I won't. I promise, but you can keep my number, just in case."
Jordan opened the door. "Wait downstairs at security and my secretary will bring you a check."
Shana hugged him tightly pressing her large breasts against him. "Thank you Jordan."
"Don't come back here Shana. Don't try me," Jordan warned her.
Shana walked out of his office and down the hall to the elevators. Jordan checked his phone and saw that Sage would be arriving at the office in ten minutes. He walked to his secretary's desk and instructed her to prepare a check made out to Shana. His secretary didn't bat an eye as her boss asked her to cut a check for a woman that wasn't his wife. Kelly was very well acquainted with Mrs. Black and her temper. She hoped that Mrs. Black didn't find out about this, or at least she didn't find out while here at the office.
Jordan walked back into his office to wait for Sage and Diamond. He would keep them in his office until Kelly processed the check and took it down to Shana. Then security would escort her ass out of the building before he took Sage to lunch. He’d taken a seat at his desk when he was alerted that Sage was on her way up. Minutes later, she and Diamond were entering his office. He stood and walked over to his wife kissing her upturned face. Jordan reached for his daughter and Sage caught a whiff from his jacket.
"What's going on Jordan?" she asked handing his daughter to him.
Jordan walked to the sofa. "Nothing much. I'm just ready to take my pretty girls to lunch." He sat down and Sage joined him. She leaned over and sniffed again.
"Why do you smell like... perfume?" she asked raising a brow.
Jordan smiled. "What?"
