Callie watched him closely and saw that he was dead serious. “Can I still call you baby?” she asked.

Trent finally smiled at her. “Only you.”

“So, do I have a chance with this new dude?” She stroked his jaw.

“Yeah...he's crazy about you. You're his dream come true.” Trent kissed her softly then moved to her neck.

Callie arched against him. “I think I'm going to really like him.”

  “Nah, you already love him.”

She ran a hand over his head. “Yeah I do and he's so damn fine.” She kissed him pulling him closer. He reached for the hem of her shirt pulling it over her head and dropping it quickly to the floor. His mouth found hers again and they were both swept up in a tide of passion.

There was a key being inserted into a lock followed by a door opening. Carolyn stepped inside the apartment and found her son in a position she'd never witnessed before.

  “Trent!” she gasped.

The pair broke apart and Trent let Callie down to the floor before turning around to face his mother. He stood directly in front of Callie blocking her from Carolyn's view. Carolyn frowned wondering who this woman was in her son's apartment at this hour of the morning. She knew that Trent was still mourning Callie and hoped that some woman wasn't trying to take advantage of him because she was not about to let that happen.

  “Hey Ma.”

Callie discretely reached down and grabbed her shirt from the floor hiding her face then quickly put it on behind Trent's back.

“I came to make your breakfast but I guess you're not hungry...for food,” Carolyn said raising a brow at him.

He smiled at her. “It's Callie, Ma.”

Callie stepped from behind him and smiled at Carolyn. “Hi Mrs. Jackson.”

Carolyn's eyes widened as she looked at her, “Callie?” Her hand went to her mouth. “Oh my God!”

Trent wrapped his arms around Callie from behind. “Callie was actually working undercover for Ray down in Colombia,” he explained briefly. “The rest is a long story.”

Carolyn shook her head. “Are you alright?” she asked Callie.

Callie smiled up at Trent. “I'm perfect now.”

Carolyn watched her son beam. He looked so happy she just wanted to cry. After watching him these last few weeks she couldn't have wished anything better for him.

Carolyn smiled at the pair. “Well I'll let you two finish with your reunion.” She walked over and gave Callie a brief hug. “We’ll talk later.”

Carolyn looked at Callie. “I'm so glad that you're safe and back at home. You're the only one who can make him smile that way.”

“Thank you Mrs. Jackson. I promise I'll never put him through anything like that again,” Callie vowed.

Trent hugged and kissed his mother before she left the apartment. He watched her go to the car and then drive off before closing the door and turning back to Callie.

“So Calista Marie Jones, tell me what we're going to do now?” he asked standing in front of her.

  She smiled. “You hacked me.”

  “Of course.”

She placed a hand on his chest. “Well Trent Harris, I think I should show you some things you can't find in a computer file.”

Trent glanced down at his chest then slowly removed her Ankh from around his neck where he had placed it last night. He gently put it back around her neck and it hung between her breasts.

“Yeah...I think you should too.” Trent took her hand and led her to the bedroom. Next to the bed, she reached for his shirt sliding it up his body and over his head. Callie looked over his chiseled chest.

“You've been hitting that gym hard.” She ran a hand softly across his tight abs. “I like that.”

Trent smiled at her before removing her shirt then lowering his head to kiss her. Engrossed in each other they fell on the bed still locked together. After awhile Trent leaned back and stared at her.

“Was there something between you and Marc?” he asked watching her face.

“No. Never.” She touched his jaw. “Did you rekindle things with your Wonder Woman while I was gone?”

He took her hand in his. “Callie I couldn't even think at all, let alone about another girl while you were gone.”

She looked at him. “Good, ‘cause I don't want to have to kick her nosey ass. I still haven't forgotten.”

He nodded. “Yeah, well Marc's ass is already on notice,” he said pointedly.

Callie smiled at him. “I missed you so much...I missed talking to you, being with you, touching you.”

“I missed you sexy girl. I thought about you and dreamed about you every day and night.”

She came closer. “You and your mother seemed happy.”

He smiled. “Yeah, we've gotten a lot closer. She's been so good to me.”

“You deserve it Trent. You have such a big heart and I love you so much.” She laid her head against his chest.

“I love you too Callie. You are the ultimate Shero.”

“I've got superpowers,” she whispered looking up at him.

Trent pulled her all the way to him. “Show them to me,” he said kissing her with his love for her pouring out of his heart.

  Epilogue

Isabelle and Isis sat in the master bedroom of the Parker's new estate. It had taken Ray and Isabelle a month to find the perfect property to start their lives together as Moon and Sun God. They were now all settled in and Isabelle had her own private Temple to please her husband. Tonight they were hosting their wedding reception outside on the manicured grounds. Isabelle had invited everyone to share in this special day with them. She'd even offered the olive branch to her father but he had declined the invitation much to Ray's delight, since he made no attempt to hide his dislike for Milton.

Isis looked at her sister. “Isabelle I can't believe you and Ray are married...and having a baby!”

“If you would have told me when I met Ray Parker that he would be the man to make me this happy, I would not have believed it,” Isabelle said smiling. “But he is and he has.”

“I'm so happy for you. You deserve all of this.” Isis told her. “I'm sorry Daddy wouldn't come. I don't know who he is anymore.”

Isabelle shrugged. “I'm so happy, there is nothing Daddy can say or do to take that away.”

Isis smiled. “Well if I was married to Ray Parker and having his baby, I'd be really happy too!”

Isabelle laughed and took her sister's hand.

“I'm so glad you're here and you are welcome at our home anytime. You're my sister and I love you.”

“Thank you Isabelle. I love you too and I want to be just like you.” She looked at her sister. “Too bad Ray doesn't have a little brother.”

There was a light knock on the door and Isabelle went to answer it. She opened it and ushered Silver into the room.

“Hello ladies,” Silver greeted them and they both smiled at her.

Silver then turned to Isabelle. “I wanted to see you for a moment before the party starts.”

“Of course Mrs. Parker,” Isabelle said immediately.

Silver held up a small box that she held in her hand. “I had my sister Ruby bring this to me.” She handed it to Isabelle who took it and opened it slowly. Her eyes widened as she looked at the beautifully crafted necklace.

“This belonged to Ray's grandmother. The stones are African Moonstone. The moonstone increases love energy. It is also the stone of inner growth and strength. All qualities you will need to deal with a Sun God.” Silver smiled at her.

Isabelle stared at the jewelry then at Silver and those brown eyes that she loved. “Thank you Mrs. Parker. I am so honored that you would give this to me.” Isabelle's eyes watered.

Silver looked at both women. “I know that you lost your mother a little while ago. I want you both to know if you need anything, I am here for you; as well as Carolyn and Lavender.”

Both women smiled. “Thank you Mrs. Parker,” they said in unison.

You can call me Silver,” she told them and they both agreed.

Silver hugged them both. “Well I'll see you ladies outside.”

After Silver left the room, Isis turned to her sister. “Wow, that's a beautiful necklace.”

  “Yes. I'm speechless.”

Isis moved to stand behind her. “Let me help you put it on.” She attached the chain around Isabelle's neck. With her heart full, Isabelle reached up to touch it then glanced at her watch.

She smiled happily and took her sister's arm. “Come on. It's time for me to join the incredible man who loves me.”

The two strolled out to the grounds where they spotted Lavender, Carolyn and Silver all sitting together...

“Can you believe all these babies on the way?” Carolyn asked Lavender and Silver.

“It's such a blessing,” Silver commented watching her granddaughter run around the grounds.

Lavender smiled. “The family in increasing, we're growing stronger.”

“Yes and we still have the younger ones who aren't ready to start having babies yet, but one day they will,” Carolyn said glancing over at Trent and Callie who were on the dance floor.

“No, they have another purpose for now,” Lavender told them watching Ray, Sean and Jordan...

Ray looked around the grounds of his new home and smiled. He'd watched as his wife and her sister had joined the party. Isabelle looked beautiful in an off-white dress that hugged her figure and showed her sexy long legs. She also wore the red heels that he loved and planned for her to keep on later.

“Ray and Izzy...I still can't understand it,” Jordan commented.

Ray turned to him. “Shut up Jay.” Sean smiled as Jordan frowned.

They all glanced out to where Trent was dancing with Callie smiling down at her.

“I'm glad that's all over,” Sean said looking at them both. “He's was about to lose it.”

“He's happy as hell now,” Jordan added.

Ray laughed. “Yeah, because I thought he was going to splatter Marc's brains all over my damn office.” He shook his head. “I know for sure he's your brother. He's a mesh of both of you.”

“Well at least we know he does have the mettle,” Sean told them.

“Good, because I'm ready to retire,” Jordan said looking at Ray.

Ray frowned. “Retire? Oh hell nah! You two, and your wives, are going to help me train and guide these damn kids.”

Sean and Jordan looked at each other then back at Ray.

“I'm telling you now, I'm not going to no damn jungles,” Jordan said pointedly.

Sean and Ray laughed as they all turned back to watch two of their new protégés engrossed in each other.

Sean smiled. “Do you think he'll ever figure out that we put them together?”

“That was one of our finer plans,” Jordan commented. “Neither of them even suspected.”

“They're the perfect couple to take over. Trent needed somebody who understands him and is strong enough to let him be himself while he transforms into the warrior he's going to become,” Ray explained.

“Yeah, we couldn't have his heart all over the place for what he's about to take on,” Jordan added. “Callie will definitely keep him focused.”

Sean watched Trent with Callie. “I'm just glad he fell for her when all he kept talking about was the 'one'.”

“How could he not fall for Callie? She's strong, she's smart and do you see her?” Ray asked. “Little Bruh didn't have a chance.”

“And of course she fell for him, he's a Black. Women can't resist us,” Jordan boasted.

Sean gave Jordan a look. “You know it's in the genes.” Jordan told him.

“Stop talking Jordan.” Sean shook his head.

Ray laughed and turned his attention to where the women were sitting...

“Can you believe we're all pregnant at the same time?” Lily asked looking at Sage and Isabelle.

Sage smiled. “If I didn't know better, I'd think those guys planned this too.”

They all looked at each other in question. “Nah...” they all said together but looked at one another in askance.

“I'm just glad everyone is home and safe and we're all together,” Lily finally said smiling.

“I'm just glad Isabelle was smart enough not to have her party where other people could show up,” she teased and Lily frowned at her.

“I didn't invite Shana tonight. I didn't really see the point,” Isabelle told them. “I did invite my father, but he declined. He says I'm no longer a part of his family.”

Lily and Sage shared a look then they each took Isabelle's hand. “You're a part of our family and we're awesome!” Lily told her.

Isabelle smiled at her. “Yes, you are.”

“And we kick ass,” Sage added.

“Yes, you do,” Isabelle agreed laughing.

“You tell Isis we're her sisters too,” Sage said looking over at Isabelle's younger sister...

Marc approached the table where Isis was sitting alone watching Diamond run back and forth to her family members. She looked up as he stepped into her vision. He was wearing his signature designer dark suit and ensemble.

“Would you like to dance Miss Martin?” he asked.

“I'm surprised you want to dance with me Agent Graham. I haven't been very nice to you.”

Marc nodded. “No you haven't, but I'm not holding that against you.”

“I'm sure you'd rather be dancing with someone else,” she pointed out.

Marc looked around. “Everyone else here is either old enough to be my mother or taken or pregnant.”

Isis looked around and smiled. “That's true.”

“Can we put aside our differences for this evening?” he asked holding out his hand.

Isis looked at his hand then up at the dark glasses. “Do you ever take those off?” she asked.

“If I take them off will you dance with me?”

She nodded and he slowly removed the eyewear. Isis gasped when she saw the beautiful platinum color of his eyes. “Oh my...your eyes! They're gorgeous.”

Marc put the dark glasses back in place covering his eyes again. “Thank you. They're very distinctive which is why I wear the glasses.” He held his hand out again and she took it.

“You really shouldn't hide them. They're the most incredible thing I've ever seen.”

They stepped onto the dance floor along with Trent and Callie as a slow song began to play. Marc glanced over at the other couple for a moment then brought his attention back to Isis. He looked down into dark brown eyes and thought, not for the first time, that she was an incredibly beautiful woman. He could see how Ray had fallen for her sister as they shared many of the same features.

Marc glanced over at Isabelle who was smiling as Ray came to join her...

“Hello Belle,” Ray said taking her into his arms and kissing her softly.

“Hello my Sun God,” she responded holding him in return.

“Are you enjoying your party?” he asked.

She smiled. “It's our party,” she corrected.

Ray shook his head. “Our party begins when all these damn people leave.”

Isabelle laughed. “I promise it will be worth the wait.”

Ray lifted a brow and she smiled. “I've got a new list,” she whispered naughtily.

“Oh how I love you my Moon Goddess,” he said kissing her again.

Ray lifted his head when he heard glasses tinkling. He and Isabelle turned to find everyone standing with a glass in their hand. Jordan stepped forward and looked at the couple.

“To Izzy and Ray. To the sweetest woman who has been my sister and to the most powerful force I've ever known who is my brother. May you have a wonderful life and produce beautiful cousins to my children.”

“Cheers!” Everyone said in unison all smiles.

Ray brought Isabelle's hand to his lips. “I thank the Universe for this woman. She is the most powerful force I've ever known.” She smiled up at him.

>   Ray reached over and picked up a glass off a nearby table before lifting it into the air.

“To the flawless Black Diamonds, may the tradition continue as the Uncut Diamonds become polished... Ase'.”

Everyone raised their glasses in agreement preparing for the next chapters...

  Hotep Family!

Thank you for reading The Black Diamond Series. I hope you have enjoyed learning and living with the family. I wanted to bring attention to some things in this series from mental health issues to sex trafficking. While the series was written to entertain, I hope that it also educated. The majority of the books, movies and historical people mentioned in the series are real and I recommend you check them out if you are looking for additional information.

I wanted to write about my culture and the people that I love. I wanted to show the power of black love, it's beauty and it's strength when given the time to develop. Where mind and heart connections elevate bodily connections; and where physical love is transcended by a spiritual bond has been nurtured.

In Black Magic, Sage and Ray introduced you to the ancient beliefs as Baby Goddess and the Sun God. They were grounded in who they were and where they came from. Their knowledge of self, which had been taught since birth, was deeply embedded inside of them and they never compromised their beliefs. Black Magic was about Gods and Goddesses who were not afraid of their abilities to create and manifest what they wanted in this life, warriors who lived with no fear.

In Masters of Illusions, Sean showed that this world is more than what is simply put before you. Unless and until you peel back the layers of what has been presented to you, you will never know what is truly real and what is simply an illusion. You may find that what you are now is not what you were created to be in this life.

In Origins, Carolyn utilized therapy to help her understand why the issues in her life had driven her to erratic behaviors. Mental health in the African American community is often overlooked and help is not usually sought. There are resources available to help deal with trauma and depression. Carolyn learned how to accept her own failings and to allow others to love her, but most importantly, she learned to love herself. Self-love is the first step to any positive change. The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance has a national hotline to assist with feelings of depression (1-800-273-TALK) 8255. http://www.dbsalliance.org
