Poison Ivy Page 5

“I’m doing what I should have done instead of running away. Now, take me home,” she growled.

“Crazy bitch,” he said before turning around and heading in the direction of her home.

Ivy held the gun to his head while she watched the muscle twitch in his jaw. She could tell that he was pissed and she couldn’t blame him any.

His gray eyes were narrowed while his bangs twitched every time he blinked. The plumped lips of his mouth were in a tight frown. The dash lights glowed against his face only to highlight the harshness of his stern expression. A cold, hard man was her weakness. God forgive her, but she loved the way the man looked whether he was so fucking mad that he rip her head off or when he was grinning at her. It didn’t matter when it came to Hunter. It was a mistake to stare at him. She knew that as the need for release warmed her stomach.

“Pull over!” she shouted at him as the need began to engulf her.

Hunter jumped from the force of her voice. Quickly, he obeyed as he pulled onto the shoulder of the road. He turned to look at her then she attacked him with her lips.

“Fucking man,” she hissed after she pulled back from the kiss to scoot the seat back so she could straddle his lap. “What is so fucking special about you?” she asked him as she pressed the safety on the gun before tossing it in the backseat. “Why can’t I be around you without wanting to fuck you into next week?”

Hunter’s expression was that of a shocked man as he sat back to let her unbutton his shirt. She had snapped or at least she felt like it as he smirked at her while she used his body to relieve the stress of the situation. It didn’t surprise her as Hunter was more than willing to help her with anything she wanted, especially since she took charge and was willing to do the work.

Ivy opened his pants and pulled his cock out after she jerked her shirt over her head.

Her hands fought with her jeans. “Stupid fucking pants,” she grumbled as she slid off his lap to remove the constricting clothing.

“Why are you so fucking angry?” he asked her while pulling his pants down a little to give his balls room to move.

“I don’t know!” she shouted before straddling him again.

She felt his chest rumble with a chuckle when she impaled herself on his hard dick. He grabbed the steering wheel behind her while his head fell backwards.

  “My god, woman,” he grunted.

“Shut up,” she snapped at him while she rolled her hips and lifted herself up, then back down hard.

Hunter hissed before grabbing her hips to keep her from moving but she grabbed his hands only to hold them out from her body.

“It is my turn,” she growled before bouncing on his cock.

She moaned shamelessly while she bounced on him as her breast fell in front of his face.

“Let me touch you,” he begged shamelessly while his eyes watched her mounds with heated gray eyes.

“I told you to shut up,” she hissed before using his wrists as leverage.

Hunter scooted down in the seat to press her back against the steering wheel before he jerked his hands from her grip. Quickly, he grabbed her hips to still her movement before he thrust upward into her.

She screamed out a squeal as his long cock stroked the small button inside of her. Her body fell forward against him, her fingernails digging into the leather while she grasped the back of the seat.

Hunter opened his mouth while her breasts bounced against his face. It was a matter of seconds before he sucked one of her nipples into his hungry mouth. His hips snapped back and forth while he tried to keep an even rhythm but with her muscles quivering while tightening around him, she felt his control disappear.

Ivy’s anger faded when her orgasm ripped violently through her. She couldn’t breathe as he pounded into her, his fingers digging into her hips. She knew she would be bruised when he left go of her. Her fingernails cut into the leather of the seat as she tried to stay grounded. Her vision was dimming as he came inside her. Suddenly, everything went black.

  Chapter Five

Ivy frowned as her eyes fluttered open. Something hard was pressed against her lower back and putting too much pressure on her hips. First thing, she noticed while a groan of discomfort escaped her lips, was that she never slept on her stomach and she sure as hell wouldn’t sleep on something this lumpy.

“I am glad that you’re back with the living,” Hunter said before he cupped the cheeks of her ass in his hands to keep her from falling over on her side while she swayed slightly from the lightheaded feeling that she was experiencing.

“Did I? It happen while…oh god…” she said while blushing deeply and hung her head.

Hunter ducked under the hair covering her face from him. He grinned at her as he eyes met her bright green orbs. “You did…yes and I believe that I enjoyed every minute of it,” he said before winking at her with a playful arch of one of his eyebrows.

Ivy cautiously slid off of his lap with a groan. “How long was I out?” she asked while she sluggishly pulled her tank top over her head.

“About fifteen minutes, give or take a minute,” he said as he adjusted his jeans to zip them up.

Ivy looked at the clock. She was relieved to know that she hadn’t wasted much time of their time with her embarrassing orgasm. She slipped her jeans up her slender legs before Hunter spoke.

“Are you still hell-bent on doing this?” he asked with a frown.

“Yes,” she answered after she adjusted her clothes then turning to face him.

“Well, we better go then,” he said sadly before he started the car.

They weren’t far from the plantation that Ivy called home when she broke the silence between them.

“Don’t get involved. Take the money and get out. Count to twenty if you don’t see me by then, go to the Crossroads and wait for me. No matter what you hear or what you think will help, just go. Do you understand me?” she asked before she leaned over the front seat to get the gun she had thrown on the backseat.

Hunter frowned deeply. “I hate your fucking plan,” he growled at her.

Ivy shrugged. “You’ll get over it,” she said, hiding the pistol inside the leg to one of her cowgirl boots.

There was nothing left to say as he parked in front of the old house. He put on his game face as he pulled her from the car. Ivy let him drag her up to the front door and onto the wrap around porch by her arm.

She snarled at the men sitting on the porch of her home while they stared at her with mirth.

“Looks like you met your match, little girl,” one of the men said while he smirked at her.

Ivy looked away from him while Hunter opened the door to the house. She stumbled forward as he jerked her through over the threshold to keep the show rolling.

He took a deep breath before pulling a pistol from the waistband of his jeans. Quickly, he held it to her head. “Are you ready, angel?” he whispered in her ear as they stood in the empty foyer.

“As I will ever be,” she answered with a frown.

Hunter nodded before standing tall. He held her out from him with one arm while keeping the barrel of the gun on her. “Taylor Carson!” he shouted. “Where is my fucking money?”

Ivy glared down the hall as one of the doors opened. Her father was the first man she saw and he wasn’t alone. Behind him were two other men, both dark skinned and dressed in expensive clothes. She held back the urge to gag as their strong cologne floated down the hall. One of the men was older than the other but both of them were clean-shaven and wearing large, disgustingly smug grins. She glanced at her father as he stood in front of her while wearing bibbed overalls and clean white t-shirt.

“Well, it looks like you kept your end of the bargain,” Taylor said before he looked down at his wrist watch. “And before midnight on Friday night. I believe I owe you double.”

She watched as her father snapped his fingers. It was sickening to watch as a young man scramble into the room to push a black case against Hunter’s chest before d
isappearing down the hall. She glared at her father before Hunter shoved her forward toward him.

“Do I need to count it?” he growled as he bounced the case in his hand.

“Don’t insult my credit, boy,” Taylor hissed before he grabbed Ivy by the arm.

Hunter turned to leave with a shrug. She wanted to cry as she saw Hunter turn to grab the door knob of the front door. But her sadness turned to hatred as younger man ran his finger down her cheek.

“Such a pretty, little thing,” the man said with a strange accent.

“If you touch me again, I will blow your fucking brains out all over that wall behind you,” Ivy warned. She felt sick to her stomach.

She snarled as the man’s fingers wrapped up in her hair while he held her close to him. She tried to look at Hunter but the man tightened his fingers up in her long hair.

Ivy heard his footsteps stop before the man pulled her close. She wanted him to leave so he wouldn’t witness the cruelty that she faced every day before she ran from her father’s house. Suddenly, her thoughts were redirected to the blinding pain that cover the left side of her face as the man backhanded her with a laugh.

Her head whipped toward Hunter to see him turn to face them. She rubbed her cheek as he glanced down at the black case in his hands then at the gun tucked securely in the front of his jeans.

Ivy hissed as the man jerked her back to face him. She glared at the man who had hit her. But as she tried to wiggle away from him, he hit her again. This time the force of his hand busted her bottom lip. A growl escaped her lips as the hot blood trickled down her chin.

She fought to get loose from the man’s grip but failed. He smirked at her as he forced her to look at him again. Suddenly she heard a gunshot echo in the foyer. Ivy froze as the back of the man’s head popped off from a bullet that entered his skull. She watched as the man melted to the ground in front of her before she turned around to see Hunter holding a gun on the men around her.

“Okay, now, this is what is going to happen next,” Hunter said calmly while Ivy smirked at him. “I’m taking Ivy with me,” he said before the older man with dark skin pulled a gun from behind his back.

“I will kill her!” he screamed as she looked over her shoulder to see who was holding a gun on her back.

“Not today, old man,” She said coldly as the man stood behind her.

Ivy winked at Hunter before she swung around to punch the man in the face. He fell forward while she kneed him in the stomach. She laced her fingers together to make one, large fist before she brought it down on his spine with a growl.

Hunter held his gun on Taylor while the dark skinned man dropped his firearm. Swiftly, she tossed the man backward before picking up the dropped pistol. She pointed the gun at his head before she pulled the trigger.

“I’m done with you and all the bullshit that follows you,” she said while the man’s lifeless body fell to the floor as she turned to look at her father.

“You can’t leave me. What will I do without you?” Taylor asked, staring at her.

“Find yourself someone else to dump on because I don’t give a shit anymore. As a matter of a fact, I don’t want to have any contact with until you are on your deathbed,” she hissed at him as she walked to stand beside Hunter.

“You’re leaving me for a poor man,” he growled at her.

qct Ivy laughed softly as a reply before she opened the door behind them.

“I had you a wealthy man. A powerful man, a man who could have given anything you wanted. Use your head, Ivy. You can’t make it without my money,” he bitched while he followed them outside.

“You forget old man, I have your money. I have plenty of your money,” she said before she took the black case from Hunter’s hand. “Now, I have more of your money. Money I’ve got, what I need is what you and your nasty friends could never give me.”

Hunter grinned at the old man as the other men gathered around them on the porch as she glanced at him.

“What the hell does he have then?” he snapped.

“I have a real desire to see her happy,” Hunter said before Ivy could speak.

Ivy smiled at him before turning to the men watching them. “He has that and a monster cock,” she said before taking Hunter’s hand and running to the car.

“Damn it, girl, get back here! This isn’t over! You know that their people will be after me! You can’t do this to me!” he screamed while she climbed into the car with Hunter.

She smirked at her father before she flipped him off while Hunter spun the car around to leave the house. As the GTO hit the blacktop road, she turned to let out a breath of relief.

Hunter reached over and grabbed her hand with a grin. The air in the car was lightened just by her giggle as she shook his hand from hers. He chuckled as she wrapped her arms around his neck to hug him as he drove towards the nearest highway.

  Chapter Six

  A year later…

“Come on, Hunter! Ma and Pa are on their way over to watch Carter and Isabel! I haven’t been out of this damn house in four months!” Ivy shouted up the stairs of the farm house while he was in the shower.

Four months ago, Ivy Masters gave birth to twins and this was first time they would be alone without the babies. She grinned as she called his mother and father by the country names. His father loved her and his mother seemed to have a lot in common with her. His brothers were jealous but quickly got over it when they got to know her.

Ivy adjusted her checkered dress before looking over the boots on her feet. She looked up to smile at her reflection in the full length mirror in the downstairs hall. Excitement flooded her as she heard the water shut off upstairs. It had been a year since he found her in that sleazy motel room.

She spent every minute she could with him as he completed a few more hunts while he left her at his parents’ house. It tough at first as his mother taught her how to cook and clean like a normal girl. His father enjoyed listening to her tell how Hunter got under her skin while his brothers acted as if they were afraid of her while she confessed to a few murders of men that Mason knew.

It hurt her slightly that Hunter refused to stop hunting until he came back after a payday with a huge rock on top of a gold band. That night he knelt before her and asked her to marry him. After she said yes, he passed out.

Before the next job, they were husband and wife. It made her cry to watch him leave but that was the weekend before she found out that she was pregnant. When he returned, he surprised her with a deed to a large farm with a house on the property located on the outskirts of his southern hometown. Once again, his passed out when she told him that he was going to be a daddy.

Hunter left her for one more hunt after a large bounty. She stabbed him in the shoulder that night before she ran away to his parents’s house. That was when his mother confessed that he was doing it for a friend and it was last debt he owed. After that hunt, he could retire on the money she stole and the rest of the cash he had stashed away.

Now, she stood in front of the large hall mirror to look at her reflection. Hunter had worked the land all day and was getting cleaned up just for her. She grinned as a knock at the door pulled her from her musing.

She bounced over to the door happily to see Casey and Mason standing on the porch.

“Come on in,” she said cheerfully while she held the door open.

The older couple entered the house while holding hands.

“Are you staying out all night?” Casey asked as she walked into the living room where Ivy set up the bassinets for the night.

“I sure hope so,” she said before Mason wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

“Take it easy on him, darlin’. He worked his ass off today. I should know. He wore me out while I helped him,” he said while she leaned into him.

“I will try to,” she said with a wink.

He chuckled before let go of her. “Wicked ass woman,” he teased before walking into the living room to look at the little baby boy
and baby girl.

Ivy turned from the living room to stand at the bottom of the stairs. “So help me, Hunter, if you’re not down those stairs by the count of ten, I am dragging your ass out the door anyway!” she yelled up the stairs.

“No need to shout, angel,” Hunter said before he stepped out of the room on the corner. “I am ready.”

“Oh god...” Ivy whispered while he walked down the stairs dressed in an outfit identical to the one he was wearing the night he met her.

His hair was still shaggy while his goatee and mustache were neatly groomed. His silver eyes glowed while he gazed at her. When he winked at her, she knew she was in trouble. A fire burned through her veins. She crossed her legs as she gripped the banister at the bottom of the stairs.

“What is wrong, angel?” he asked before he wrapped his arms around her waist. “Did you miss your fucker?”

Ivy giggled before wrapping her arms around his shoulders before kissing him on the lips. “Something like that,” she said after she broke the kiss and buried her nose into his chest to inhale the rich, woodland musk of his cologne.

Hunter slid his hands down her hips to squeeze her ass while he pinned her against him. “I am going to make you feel free again,” he purred before she leaned back to look at him.

  “Promise?” she asked.

“It is going to be like the first time, tonight. I even rented a room from the Coyote Park Motel,” he said with a wink.

“Room three?” she asked as she remembered that was the motel where she lost her virginity to him.

“The very same,” he answered before taking her hand.

They walked into the living room to see his father pestering the babies.

“Mason, if you don’t leave those babies alone, I’m flogging you,” his mother hissed.

“Stop making empty promises, Casey,” his father hissed back. “I want to play with them.”

“They are too young to play, you over-grown kid,” she snapped at him.
