Jess: thanks.
Mauri: It was good seeing you at the mall. You getting so fucking thick! I had to stop myself from drooling. You still with old dude? Do he know what he has? More importantly does he deserve you?
Jess: I love him. He’s good to me.
Mauri: I could be good to you too… ;)
Deon dropped Jess’s phone onto the ground and stepped on it until it was in pieces. Jess sat back quietly thinking about Willow’s words that she had said to her during her visit.
“You fucking that nigga?”
“Who?” Jess asked with a shaky voice.
Deon took a few calming breaths. He walked towards Jess slowly.
“Don’t fucking play with me Jess. Are you fucking this Mauri nigga that you kicking it with and shit at the mall? Got this nigga texting you on a fucking phone I’m paying the bill on. Are you fucking him bitch!” Deon yelled making her jump.
Jess jumped out of bed and rushed past Deon. Deon followed after her and grabbed her arm spinning her around. He pinned her against the wall as her eyes began to water.
“Jess don’t make me ask again,” he said through gritted teeth.
Jess shook her head while Deon looked her in the eyes. He wanted to let it ride but the fact that she was even texting Mauri pissed him off. He let her arm go and back handed her so hard the left side of her face reddened. Jess instantly started to cry and grabbed her cheek. She slid down the wall while Deon stood over her. He felt bad the minute it was done but he didn’t regret it. He needed to show her who was boss. He couldn’t deal with insubordinate bitches. Jess would need to be trained the same way Torie was.
“Look, we both mad right now so what we should do is take a nap and relax. I love you Jess and I can’t have you talking to other niggas and shit. I love you too fucking much to watch you be a hoe. Come here.”
Jess ignored him and continued to cry. Deon picked her up and carried her into the bedroom. He placed her in the bed and took off her clothes. Once she was naked he got naked and slid in bed behind her. Jess cried silently as Deon kissed her on the back. She hadn’t said anything to him and he wanted to make sure she wasn’t thinking about breaking up with him.
“I love you baby. All day I been thinking about your beautiful ass,” he whispered slowly fingering her.
Jess closed her eyes and held in her moan. Deon worked her harder and she came although she didn’t want to. Deon slowly slid into her from the back and Jess started to breathe hard. Her body was still new to him and his girth so it took a few strokes for her to be comfortable with him inside of her. Deon on the other hand was in heaven.
“Damn baby…you feel so fucking good. I don’t want us to fight baby when we can be doing this,” he said and rubbed on her tender nipples as he fucked her.
“Oh…Ummm…” Jess moaned still not wanting to give Deon the satisfaction of hearing her moan.
Deon pulled out of Jess and laid on his back. She turned to look at him and he pulled her on top of him.
“You mad at me and I’m mad at you but neither one of us is going anywhere. Come take that anger out on my dick bae,” he said and slapped her on the ass.
Jess moaned and started slowly moving up and down onto Deon. He guided her movements because she was still inexperienced when it came to riding him. He coached her into putting her feet flat on the bed and he began to pound into her. Jess held onto his head as he gave her intense pleasure. She could no longer hold her moans in because he was giving her body the greatest feeling she had ever experienced.
“Oh Deon! You feel so good! Damn!” she found herself cursing.
Deon licked his lips and fucked her harder. He wanted her to say more than damn.
“Tell me what I’m doing to my pussy?” He demanded.
Deon’s hips went faster, his dick went further into her and started to hit her directly on her spot. Jess’s head bobbed for a minute before she could reply.
“You…you…making your pussy cum….oh…shit!” she yelled and started cumming.
Deon’s eyes closed as Jess’s juices wet his dick in the best kind of way. He fucked her harder before cumming inside of her. Jess fell onto his chest with his throbbing dick still filling her up. Deon rubbed her ass before patting it. He was possessive by nature but the things he felt for Jess terrified him. He had never felt like that before. He knew it had to be love. He wanted to give her whatever her heart desired.
“I love you so much Jess. I don’t wanna hurt you ma, I just can’t deal with you talking to other niggas. This pussy…it belongs to me. That smile…belongs to me…You belong to me. Tell me you not leaving me,” he demanded making his semi-erect dick jump inside of her.
“I’m not leaving you ever,” Jess quickly replied still high off her orgasm.
“Tell me you love me.”
Jess sat up to look down at Deon. Yes he hurt her but he was all that she had. Willow was locked up, her mother and father was off doing them. She needed Deon as much as he needed her and she loved him. He had given her so much and made her so happy. If she had to stop being friends with Mauri to keep him she definitely would. She couldn’t imagine her life without Deon.
“I love you so much and I promise I will stop being friends with Mauri. He means nothing to me,” she said making Deon smile.
“That’s a good girl! Take one more ride on this dick then we going shopping. My baby getting some new diamonds for taking the dick so good,” he said and started to move Jess’s hips.
Chapter Seven
Summer changed to fall and before Jess knew it she was back in school. Willow was due to be released by Christmas and Jess was more than ready for her to come home. Jess was different now. She was a senior and she didn’t look the same nor act the same. Deon’s cocky attitude had rubbed off on her in more ways than one. She walked different, looked down on all of the kids she walked by and she wore thousand dollar outfits to school when she wasn’t even trying to impress them.
Tiffany hated Jess’s makeover the most. She felt inferior to her because no matter what she did, she couldn’t get the stuff Jess had or even drive the car Jess drove. Tiffany didn’t know how but somehow Jess had come up over the summer and that angered her. Mauri seemed to drool at Jess along with every other boy in their school making Tiffany and most of the girls mad. Most girls hated on Jess but Sabeen a new cheerleader liked Jess and wanted to be her friend. They had been sitting together ever since school started and Sabeen really liked how genuine Jess was. She saw them being friends for a very longtime.
“I swear Tiffany is so fucking jealous of you. It’s really funny,” Sabeen said flipping her black and blonde hair over her shoulder.
Jess smiled at Sabeen and finished reading her text message from Deon. Lately he had been on her to get his name tatted on her butt and she was against it. That only made him think she was having sex with someone else.
“Hey Sabeen would you get your man’s name tatted on you?” Jess asked.
Sabeen looked at Jess and smirked. Sabeen was naturally beautiful. She felt happy to be with another beautiful girl instead of jealousy towards her. She didn’t have a problem meeting guys so she felt in no way shape or form threatened by Jess like most girls did.
“Look at you miss under cover freak. Hell no, I wouldn’t but then again no one has ever bought me a car. Deon spoils you.”
“Deon!” Tiffany yelled standing up from her seat.
She had been listening to every word that Jess and Sabeen said. Jess seemed to consume her thoughts whenever she was at school.
“Sorry, I didn’t know this hoe was listening to our whole fucking conversation,” Sabeen said glaring at Tiffany.
Tiffany looked at Jess and frowned. Jess’s Deon couldn’t possibly be her sisters man Deon. No, he wouldn’t want some young ass girl like Jess. What could she possibly offer a man like him? He was Detroit royalty. Nah, he wouldn’t want her but just to ease her mind she looked at Jess.
“You wouldn’t be talking about Deo
n that owns those candy stores on West Seven Mile and those soul food restaurants would you?” she asked.
Jess put her cellphone away and stood up. She wasn’t about to answer to Tiffany or anyone else about Deon.
“Sabeen you ready?” Jess asked looking at her new friend.
Sabeen stood up and shot Jess an apologetic smile. She really didn’t know that Tiffany was listening to them.
“Yep let’s go, it’s too many rats in this bitch anyway crawling around looking for some cheese and shit,” she said looking at Tiffany.
Tiffany jumped in front of Jess refusing to let her leave. The more she thought about it the more it started to make sense to her. She now saw how Jess could afford such a nice car and expensive clothes when she was broke as hell last school year.
“Please tell me you not fucking him. He is my sister’s baby daddy bitch! She will come up here and shoot your ass in the face!” Tiffany yelled being overly dramatic in hopes of scaring Jess.
Jess walked past Tiffany with Sabeen following after her. They walked into their next class and Sabeen looked at Jess. She could tell Jess was worried about what Tiffany had said.
“That can’t be the same Deon. It’s a million niggas in Detroit named Deon,” she said trying to reassure Jess everything was fine.
Jess simply nodded while looking straight ahead. After school Jess found herself sitting across from Deon. They were inside of one of his stash houses and he was counting up the money he had just picked up. Jess just looked at him wondering how to bring up the question of his alleged baby with Tiffany’s sister.
“So how was school baby?” Deon asked looking through his money.
He sat it in the counter and watched the bills flow through.
“Good.”
“You looking good as fuck today.”
“Thank you.”
Deon looked up and frowned. He had made a lot of money today and was not in the mood for Jess’s dull ass mood. Torie was months into her pregnancy so he had been pushing Jess to the side but he still managed to see her twice a week.
“So what the fuck is up with your attitude and shit?
Jess fiddled with her fingers for a moment. She looked at Deon and her heart seemed to beat just a little faster. She loved him and she would just die if he were indeed having a child with someone else.
“Deon this girl at school Tiffany said that you got her sister pregnant.”
Deon’s stomach dropped. All he could think to do was drive to Tiffany’s parent’s cheap ass house and fuck her up. He was contemplating which crack head he could get to beat her ass real good.
“Baby it’s obvious this bitch is jealous of you,” he replied and sat back in his seat.
Jess licked her lips studying how nervous Deon appeared to be. She looked him in the eyes and when he couldn’t return her stare she jumped up. With her Fendi book bag on her arm she rushed out of the apartment. Jess ran to her car with Deon on her heels. He bear hugged her from behind.
“Baby it was before you. She is carrying my son but you got my heart,” he pleaded.
Jess didn’t cry or say anything. She was still in a state of shock. Deon was actually having a child with someone that wasn’t her. Yet he claimed to love her. How did that work?
“Deon I have to go,” Jess said in a low pained voice.
Deon hugged her for a moment feeling for once in his life a small bit of guilt. He turned her around and kissed her gently on the lips. Jess kissed him back not sure when she would ever kiss him again.
“I love you baby please don’t doubt that. This changes nothing between us. You would be like his mother too,” he said looking her in the eyes.
Jess looked at him like he had grown three heads.
“Deon, that wouldn’t even be cool. I gotta go,” she said pulling away from him.
“So you just gonna leave because I’m having a baby?” he asked angry that Tiffany had went and ran her mouth telling his business.
Jess nodded as she walked up on her car. She opened the car door and looked back at Deon.
“That’s exactly why I’m leaving,” she said before climbing in.
Deon watched her pull away from his stash house with his heart beating fast. He pulled his cell phone out of his pocket and called Danilo. That bitch Tiffany was going to pay.

“You look nice,” Jackie said looking at Jess with watery eyes.
Jess cleared her throat and looked at her mother. They both knew what was about to happen.
“Thank you. How are you feeling? Did you eat today?” Jess asked noticing how small her mother was getting.
Jackie waved her small hand in the air.
“I’ll eat when the Lord wants me too. I have to do some work at the church, I’ll see you when I get home,” Jackie replied before walking off.
Jess stared at her mother for a moment before walking out of her house. She pulled her cardigan close to her body. The weather was slowly cooling off. Jess took her time driving to her father’s new home that he shared with another woman. She wasn’t sure how to feel about the situation other than anger.
Jess parked behind her father’s truck and he stepped outside. He smiled then looked at her car. It was his first time seeing it. Jess had kept it hidden until one day she decided to just take it home. Her mother never asked where it came from so she never had to tell her the lie on how she got it.
“Jackie must be making more money now,” Sampson joked eyeing the expensive car his daughter had just pulled up in.
He wanted to ask more questions but was feeling a huge amount of guilt for breaking up his family so he didn’t say anything. He moved to the side and watched his daughter walk into his home. Jess looked different to him. More mature and the way she carried herself with this air of confidence made him stare at her harder. He noted her jewelry and designer purse and told himself that he was definitely going to find out how Jackie could now afford such things.
“Hi Jessenia! Wow you’re so beautiful and I love that watch and bag. I wanted one just like it,” Amber said walking up.
Jess looked at the woman that her father now loved and rolled her eyes. Amber was a thirty-year-old beautiful blonde with ocean blue eyes, wide hips and a black girl’s ass. Jess instantly hated her and everything she stood for.
“Hi.” Jess spoke dryly.
Sampson chuckled to lighten the mood. He walked over to his newest woman and pulled her close to his side.
“Baby go make our plates,” he said to her.
“Of course dear,” Amber said. She walked off but stopped to look at Sampson. “I love you,” she whispered to him and walked away.
Jess watched the exchange with watery eyes. Her father looked happy with this woman. Happier than he looked with Jackie.
“Jess please let’s go to the table,” he said and grabbed her hand.
Jess followed her father to the table and they both sat down. Amber brought in dish after dish and made everyone’s plate. She poured their drinks and even cut on the game for Sampson so he could hear it in the background. Jess noted that her mother never did any of those things for her father.
“So how has school been?” Sampson asked Jess.
Jess tasted the spaghetti and was relieved to see it tasted fine. Not as good as her mother’s but it would do.
“It’s good.”
“Well I see you and Jackie are living pretty well right now. Did she get a raise or something?” he asked after eyeing Jess’s Chanel watch.
Jess shook her head not sure what to tell her father. Her mother had been so out of it when it came to her and what she did. She didn’t have to explain things to her anymore, which was great. She was kind of hoping her father did the same.
“No, she didn’t.”
Sampson nodded. He ate a bit of his food and looked at his daughter.
“So…who gave you that watch? Did Jackie get you that expensive car? I know I’ve been out of the loop for a few months but I’m still your fathe
r,” he said looking at her.
Amber cleared her throat and looked at Sampson. She didn’t wanna make Jess mad when she was finally deciding to come around.
“Honey..,” she said to Sampson in a loving voice.
“Not now Amber. Jess where did you get all of this stuff from? No high school boy can afford it,” he asked setting his fork down.
Jess looked at her father and sighed. She was a week into not seeing or talking to Deon and she just wanted to cry in bed all day instead she was at her father’s new home trying to be nice but he was starting to piss her off.
“I didn’t have to come over here. Mom asked me to be nice to you so I came. I will be eighteen next year and what I choose to do will be all up to me including who I choose to see. The house that you left has turned to shit while you sit here in your big house with your white woman and wait on your mixed baby. Why don’t you just leave us alone?” Jess looked at Amber and then down at her small but there baby bump. She stood up and shook her head at her father. “It seems like you did already anyway,” she said and walked off.
Sampson sat in his seat for a moment before getting up. Amber was speechless. She expected Jess’s anger but still wasn’t prepared for it. Amber looked up at her man with sad eyes.
“Babe,” she called out.
Sampson ignored her and walked off headed after Jess. He stopped her before she could walk out of his house and he pulled her into his arms. He had never in his life been so ashamed. He hadn’t been happy with Jackie for years. She had given so much to the church and to God but nothing to him. He felt like he was her roommate and after a while it got to be unbearable. He dreaded going home and in turn found solace with Amber. She was refreshing and most of all loving to him. He felt important to her and they made each other happy. Race didn’t matter because if she were a black woman he would have fallen for her all the same. He just didn’t love Jackie anymore but somehow he had also forgotten about Jess.
“I’m so sorry. I’m so fucking sorry baby girl,” he said hugging her tightly.
