“Put on that rose gold Tiffany cross necklace that matches mine with those new studs I got you. Those bitches go hard,” Deon said and smiled.

Jess grabbed her newest earrings, some 18k platinum and rose gold flower detailed studs and slipped them into her ears. She fluffed her hair and frowned at how long it was growing. She really hated long hair. Deon stood up and walked behind her. He put his arms around her waist and looked at her through the mirror. The more he told himself that Jess was a good number two the more he found himself wanting her to be his number one.

“I love you baby. You gotta do what you can for me and for us,” he said slipping his hands down to cup her very small baby bump. “I put my life on the line everyday so that I can give you whatever you want ma. All I’m asking from you is for you to give me you. Is that too much to ask for?”

Jess shook her head. Deon was looking good as hell to her and after eating she was going to need some sex. She was trying to think of ways to get out of going home because it would be late once they made it back from the restaurant.

“You know I love you Deon.”

  “Do you really?” he asked.

Jess looked him in the eyes through the mirror. Deon had turned her into the person she now was. With him she didn’t feel seventeen she felt like a woman. He made her feel like one.

“I love you and the expensive things don’t matter to me.”

Deon looked at her wondering how true that statement was. He was far from an ugly nigga and he knew Jess was far from a gold digger but he knew that his gifts had helped him in getting her. What woman didn’t like nice things?

“Yeah okay but let’s go feed my baby so we can get back and I can feed you this dick,” he said and pulled her away.

Jess and Deon took his black on black Range Rover to Jess’s favorite restaurant in Sterling Heights. Jess and Deon were immediately seated and Deon decided to change his seat so that he could sit next to Jess. He threw his arm over her shoulder and pulled her closer to him. The restaurant was upscale but he didn’t care. He missed his girl and wanted to be all up on her.

“I told my mom about the baby.”

Jess nodded and Torie popped into her head.

“About both of them?” she asked.

Deon smiled at Jess’s question. He wasn’t about to let Torie fuck up his time with Jess.

“Yeah, actually I did. I don’t lie to anyone ma you know that. I don’t have to.”

Anger flared inside of Jess at his response. She hated his cocky attitude at times. Jess pulled away from him to give herself some space.

“Of course you don’t. You can really be selfish Deon,” she said reminding him of Torie.

Deon rested his elbows onto the table and adjusted his Breitling. He shrugged before replying.

“I’ve always been this nigga Jess. That pussy good, damn I mean it’s a dream but the only time I’m changing is when I want to. Can’t nobody make me be who the fuck they want me to be. I’m not about to lie to my mom’s about a baby that’s going to have my blood.”

Jess looked down at her menu with her eyes watering. She felt happiness with Deon then anger at the same time. He was the keeper of her emotions. He played with her because he knew he could. She wished that she wasn’t in love with him so she could just leave him alone.

“But if I was pregnant by someone...”

“You’d be one dead motherfucka,” Deon said cutting her off as the waitress walked up.

The waitress was a perky coco brown skinned girl with a perfect figure and breast as big as Jess’s. Deon kind of wished he had seen her on the street so he could holler at her. His plate was full with Torie and Jess but he was always looking for new jump-offs.

“Heyyy, welcome to Porters Steakhouse. I’m Ashley! Can I get you something to drink before you order?” she asked with her eyes focused on Deon and his full lips.

Jess stared at the girl with irritation written all over her face. Deon had admirers everywhere they went.

“Ugh yeah,” Deon sighed and sat back in his seat. He licked his full lips knowing Jess and the girl was staring at him. He got a kick out of pissing Jess off because she was trying to argue with him when he just wanted to have a nice dinner date with her.

“Shit, get me some Hennessey and Coke and keep them coming. Grab my friend an…ugh….y’all water free ain’t it?” he asked trying hard to hold in his smile.

Jess was so mad her light skin started to turn red. The waitress on the other hand loved to see that he cared nothing for the beautiful girl that sat next to him.

“Yeah the water is free! I’ll be right back,” she said and briskly walked away.

Jess started to breathe hard as she grilled Deon with a mean glare. Deon turned to Jess and he started to laugh. Her face darkened even more because he was now laughing at her. Jess tried to push him so she could get up and he pulled her to his side. His face went to her neck and he kissed her.

“I’m just fucking with you ma. You trying to fight with me when I’m trying to give you want you want. I just wanna relax with my girl not talk about shit that we can’t change. What’s done is done but I’m here…with you trying to get inside of you. On some real shit Torie ain’t on my mind, nobody is but you. Stop playing with daddy before I have to show you what happens to bad girls,” he said whispering the last part to her.

Jess rolled her eyes but was swooning on the inside at his words. The waitress walked up with their stuff upset to see them so hugged up on each other. She gave them a fake smile and looked at them.

“So what can I get you and your friend to eat?”

Jess and Deon looked at the waitress. Deon let go of Jess and sat up straight. He was only playing with the waitress but she still had no right to use his words. It was unprofessional and showed her pettiness. She was feeling some type of way about him already when she didn’t even know him.

“Actually you can get me and my wife the chef’s special with extra lobster and loaded mashed potatoes. If you want the best tip of the day then I would suggest you keep your jealous ass stares to yourself and just be our fucking waitress,” he said making Jess smile.

Ashley nodded taken aback by his tone and words before walking off. Jess giggled as she looked at him. Deon turned to her and licked his lips. He could play with Jess all day long but he would never allow for anyone else to disrespect her.

“Your sexy ass about to get that bitch fucked up. Now come here and give me a kiss, you looking too good baby,” he said.

Jess leaned towards Deon and kissed him tenderly on the lips. He deepened the kiss by sticking his tongue into her mouth and they kissed for several minutes as if they were the only ones in the restaurant. Their dinner went by without any problems for Ashely and Jess found herself on her back with Deon on top of her when she should have been at home. Her cellphone rung repeatedly as Deon slowly slid in and out of her. The feeling was so good she cared nothing about the punishment her mother would have waiting on her. Her only thought was cumming.

  “Damn baby,” Deon groaned.

Jess closed her eyes while digging her nails into his back. He felt so good and she hated to admit it but she couldn’t see herself living without him.

“Uh! I love you!” she yelled feeling overly emotional.

Deon dug deeper into her and started kissing her gently on the lips. He was in pregnant pussy heaven. He had two women that had nothing but some good, wet-wet. Torie’s wasn’t as tight as Jess but hers was still good. Jess’s was just everything to him though. He couldn’t get enough of it.

“Damn Jess, this good ass pussy about to make me nut. Tell daddy he can cum in you,” he said in a low voice.

Jess moaned and clenched her vaginal muscles down hard onto him.

“Mmmm…you can cum in me daddy,” she replied and Deon grunted.

His dick grew harder and he started to fuck Jess like he was mad at her. He sat up and his hands went to her throat. He didn’t choke her but he pushed down hard eno
ugh for her to look up at him. He moved at a fast pace as he slid in and out of her.

“You spending the night with me ain’t you?” he asked fucking her hard.

Jess nodded not even giving his question any thought. Deon smiled and let go of Jess’s neck. He moved his hands down to her hips and hiked her legs up as far as they would go. He started to hit the bottom of Jess’s vagina and her body bucked off of the bed. She tried to push him back and he shook his head. The harder and deeper he went into her, the wetter she became.

“Stop playing and cum on this dick Jess! You been keeping my shit away from me when you know I need it daily. Now that pussy gotta pay for the way you behaving,” he said and Jess started to cum.

Her eyes clamped shut while her pussy creamed for Deon. He groaned feeling her release and let off inside of her. Deon waited until he was done before pulling out and lying beside her. Her cellphone went off again and he started to laugh. Jackie was trying to be a mother but it was too late. Jess was now his and she wasn’t going anywhere until he said she could.

  Chapter Ten

“Jessenia we need to talk,” Jackie said walking into Jess’s bedroom.

Jess looked at her mother and sighed. She had been on punishment for the last week for staying with Deon for two days. Jess felt like she had done nothing wrong. Deon was her child’s father and her parents knew she was safe yet they were tripping.

“Okay, well what’s up?” Jess asked sounding more like Deon than herself.

Jackie looked at her daughter and her heart skipped a few beats. Her baby was having a baby by the local drug dealer. Jackie felt as if she and Sampson had failed as parents.

“We need to discuss you and Deon.”

Jess groaned and rolled over onto her side giving her mother her back. Jackie ignored the disrespect and continued to talk.

“Your grades by the grace of God haven’t dropped yet but once it comes they will. How will you attend college with a baby? Please enlighten me on that.”

“I just will. I know I can do it,” Jess said while staring at the wall.

“Jessenia having a baby is hard for a grown woman let alone a child. You will not be able to do what you have to do for yourself because it will take up all of your time. You can’t possibly think Deon is going to be there for it.”

Anger flared up inside of Jess. Her mother never referred to her child as a baby but instead of it or that thing and now she was putting down Deon. She had heard enough.

“Mom, please leave,” she said with an attitude.

Jackie crossed her arms over her chest refusing to give in to Jess.

“I will not. Get up so we can go to the pastor’s house for dinner,” she said then pulled the cover away from Jess’s body.

Jess closed her eyes and asked herself why she was still at home? Her mother still didn’t have it right. She hadn’t talked to her and asked how she felt about anything or what was going on with her. Jackie only wanted to talk about how much of a curse her child was. She thought that the pregnancy would show Jackie how much she needed her and maybe they would grow close but they hadn’t. Jess feared she may never be close with her mother and she vowed to never be like that with her child.

After Jess put on some clothes Jackie took her to their pastor’s house for dinner. A few of the other church members were at the dinner as well. While Jackie talked with the pastor’s wife, the pastor couldn’t help but to stare at Jess. He’d watched her grow up and he was very upset with the things that were happening in her life. He decided to sit next to her and spark up conversation to see how she was doing.

“So how has life been Jessenia Nichole?”

“It’s been fine pastor,” Jess answered quietly.

Pastor Robin was always so nice and endearing. His presence was a lot to take in at times because he was such a smart and powerful man. Jess always felt guilty about having sex and things pertaining to sin whenever she was around him. She knew he wasn’t perfect himself but to be around someone that was so in tuned with God when you weren’t shined a bright light on the sins that you were hiding. Jess felt as if the pastor could see all of her flaws.

“So you are with child, how is that going?” he asked getting comfortable in the chair.

  “It’s okay.”

Pastor Robin nodded and looked Jess over. She looked fine, her appearance was actually more than that. She wore nice clothes and her hair had this luster to it that showed she attended a hair salon regularly. He was more worried about her spiritual life.

“Jessenia, when you were a child I told your parents that you would be great. I could see it in you even then at such a young age. You were so quiet and so shy but also very smart and you still are. Just because we go through trials and tribulations they don’t take away from what God has given us. In fact they make us stronger. Do you know how strong you are Jessenia?”

Jess shrugged. Her pregnancy had made her overly emotional and the pastor had her missing things like bible study and talking about God. Deon never wanted to discuss anything of that nature with her.

  “I believe I am.”

  Pastor Robin looked at her.

“You are sweetheart. I watched you receive the holy-ghost. I watched you speak in tongues and pray on countless days. No matter what you are facing, you will get through it. You have the power of the almighty behind you. Even when we stray, even when we forget Him, He never forgets us. He loves you unconditionally Jessenia.”

“Yes, He does and not that Deon!” Jackie yelled from across the table.

Pastor Robin looked at Jackie and shook his head. Pastor Robin knew that Jackie loved her daughter but he felt like she could have done a few things differently with her.

“Jessenia is only seventeen Jackie. At no age can you expect her to be perfect but with her young mind you should expect her to make mistakes. Don’t get me wrong a baby is a very big thing but it isn’t the end of the world. I believe in Jessenia do you?” he asked putting her on the spot.

Jackie nodded unsure of an answer to respond vocally. She looked at Jess then back at her pastor.

“Now is a good time to discuss the options with her pastor,” she said.

Pastor Robin looked at his dinner guests and concluded that he needed to speak with Jess in private.

“Jessenia, can I talk with you in my office?”

Jess nodded and stood up. She followed the pastor through his house and into his office. They both took a seat and the pastor looked at her.

“I’ve been speaking with your parents a lot concerning this situation that you’re in and my wife and I want to help. As you know my wife can’t conceive and we were wondering if possibly we could adopt the baby? We would give that child the things that it would need to survive and prosper in this world. You would be able to watch your child grow up while still moving on with your life. What do you think?”

Jess actually liked her pastor and first lady but she didn’t want them to raise her child. The longer she carried her child the deeper attachment she felt to it. She just couldn’t go through months and months of pregnancy to give her baby away.

“I’m sorry pastor but that isn’t a good idea,” Jess said unable to look him in the eyes.

Pastor Robin sighed, he was let down but not angry. Jess had the right to say no to him and he knew that going in.

“I kind of figured you would be against it. I had to at least try. Jessenia, I will always be here for you along with my wife. If you ever need anything please don’t hesitate to ask. One minor setback is preparing you for an even bigger comeback. Don’t forget that,” he said and they went back to finish their dinner.

Jackie could tell by the looks on Pastor Robin and Jess’s face that she had said no. She was so mad and disappointed in her daughter. Jackie refused to eat anything else. The car ride home was quiet until Jackie and Jess got into the house. While Jess took off her things, Jackie watched her with narrowed, angry eyes.

“I’ve tried Jessenia, I really have. Yo
u keep letting me down,” she said staring at her.

Jess took off her boots then her jacket. She looked at her mother and decided to give her some of her truth.

“Well you’ve been letting me down for years so I guess we’re even now.”

Jackie’s head snapped back as if she had been hit. She couldn’t believe Jess had talked to her in such a way.

“Oh really? How have I let you down? Do you not eat every day? Are you not wearing clothes on your back and living in a home?”

Jess laughed as she looked at her mother.

“No thanks to you. Everything that I need I get it from Deon. He takes care of me while you and dad do whatever. I don’t need you or him to support my baby because Deon has my back,” Jess said in a matter of fact kind of way.

Jackie looked at Jess and she laughed. Her daughter was more clueless than she had thought.

“Baby the minute Deon finds another young girl to molest he will leave you alone,” she said smiling.

Jackie’s smile and hateful words cut deep into Jess’s skin.

“He didn’t molest me. I willingly made love to him. He loves me way more than you or dad ever did!” Jess yelled and ran away.

She went up to her bedroom and slammed the door. Jess walked over to her bed and decided to call Deon. He picked up on the first ring and she could hear a lot of commotion in the background.

“Sorry but he’s busy holding our son he’ll have to call you back,” Torie said before ending the call.

With shaky hands Jess sat her phone down. She wanted to cry, scream, yell but she couldn’t. Over and over in her head all she could hear was the sound of Deon’s son crying and it made the situation that much more real. He was now a father to a kid that wasn’t hers. She would never say it out loud but deep down inside, she already knew she was sharing him and this only solidified that. Jess lay down on her bed and held on tightly to her stomach. That night in her bedroom, as she silently cried into her pillow, Jess contemplated what her life would have really been like if she had never met Deon. She also thought about ending her life and finding eternal peace.
