  Things I’m grateful for:

My husband makes me sweet coffee every morning.

We finally closed on our holiday home in Castle Springs.

Macy and I have both managed to convince Hansen to construct us our own room. Construction starts tomorrow.

I have now discovered I have an interior decorating style.

I do not go to sleep alone.

I do not wake up alone.

The club is repairing itself...and I see Scarlett every month when we ride down there.

I’m no longer afraid of a shower—because I never do that alone either

I missed my period this month

I don’t have enough time to complete this list because my husband is walking into the room, with a wicked smile and a promise in his eyes. A promise he will never break.

  THE END...

  For now.

  Acknowledgments

The Sons of Templar were what started this whole thing. This whole, crazy, whirlwind.

  This dream.

These characters will always hold such a special place in my heart. Whenever I go back to writing about the club, I feel like I’m coming home. That’s why I never want to say goodbye to this series. I never want to ‘end’ it. I’m not sure when the next Sons book will be in your hands. I don’t know who is going to get a story next. But I know it’s going to happen.

So don’t worry. The Sons aren’t going anywhere.

Writing this book was hard. I knew exactly what I was going to do with Jagger the first time I wrote his name. I knew his story was going to be rough. I know that it was going to be hard for my readers to forgive him once you figured out who he was. What he’d done.

But I wanted to explore the choices we make when we feel like we’re trapped. By love. By pain. Fear. I wanted to try and explain that there is no way to make a ‘good’ choice from a place of pain. A place of love.

This book is one of my favorites of the entire series. Because it’s a mix of my ‘old’ style of writing and my ‘newer’ style.

I really hope you enjoyed it.

As always, I would not survive the writing process without the people below.

Mum. You know the drill by this point. You are always here, right at the top. Because I would not be here, typing this, without you. You made me into the woman I am. You always support my good decisions. And you support my bad ones too. I know not everyone is as lucky as I am to have their mum as their best friend, and I count my blessings every day that I’ve got you.

Dad. You can’t read this, but I know you’re somewhere, having a beer, watching over me. I miss you always.

Taylor. Thank you for being my best friend. For supporting me. Making me laugh. Dealing with my meltdowns. Feeding me wine and treats when I’m freaking out about books. Thanks for going on this ride otherwise known as life with me. Forever and then some, babe.

Jessica Gadziala. You have been my constant support through so many meltdowns and dark periods of my life. You’re my #sisterqueen.

Amo Jones. Bitch. What can I say? You are my everything, ride or die. I would not make it through without you. And I’m never going to be without you. ‘Cause you’re stuck with me for life.

Michelle Clay. I don’t even know what to say about you. You are one of the most special people in my life. You do so much for me and many other people without expecting anything in return. You support me, cheer for me and help me through so much. I am forever grateful that my words brought us together.

Annette Brignac. Another woman who is one of a kind. Thank you for being in my life. Thank you for reading my books. I am honoured to call you a friend. You are one of the best people I know. My life would not be the same without you. To the moon.

My girls, Polly & Emma. You’re a whole world away from me and it breaks my heart. I miss you both every single day but I also know that no amount of time or distance will change our friendship. You two are my soulmates.

My betas, Sarah, Ginny, Amy and Caro. You ladies save me. Seriously. Thank you for reading my books when they are at their most raw. Thank you for helping turn them into what they end up being.

Ellie. Thank you for dealing with me. For editing this book. For not changing my voice. For being fucking amazing.

And you, the reader. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. You are why I’m still here, creating characters, writing stories. You’ve made my dreams come true.
