“Get lost,” I say to her admirers.

“Relax, old man,” the ginger says.

He just called me an old man. I want to smash him.

“She’s my wife,” I bark. “You want to have your jaw fractured, kid?”

Yeah, that’s pathetic, but jealousy rages inside me.

The boys move back, shielding themselves with their hands.

“Why are you angry, Gabriel?” Reagan looks at me with wide eyes.

  “You shouldn’t talk to strangers.”

  “I’m sorry. I didn’t know.”

“That’s okay, Now, you know.” I lean over her, stroking her pretty head with my hand. “You want to go out? We could sit in Seff’s bar tonight. Come on, Reagan. Let’s have some fun at the bar.”

“Is it going to be like at the Asia’s Kiss?”

“More or less.” I kiss her lips. “I’d say it’s going to be better than the Asia’s Kiss.”

It’s a far safer option than going to a students’ place. Reagan is really beautiful. The male students would devour her in there. No fucking way. Only I can look at her like this. We could move to Alaska and live in solitude.

  She nods. “Okay.”

I grab her hand, and we go back to Seff’s place. We eat supper, and Reagan goes to have a bath. I stretch my body out on the bed, my ankles crossed. Happiness spreads in my veins. Yes, we need five kids and everything will be as it should be. Reagan walks out, wrapped in a towel, and she digs her hands into the pile of clothes from Seff.

  “Can you help me, Gabriel?”

“Sure.” I get up, sit down beside her and plunge my hands into the clothes. “This one.” I spread a black dress with a leather bodice and short velvet hem that looks like a bell. A few layers of black tulle that are attached underneath it will hold it beautifully spread.

Reagan tears the dress away from my hands and runs over to the bathroom. A light knocking on the door diverts my attention. A cheetah sneaks in.

“I can help with the make-up,” she says, “and the hair.”

My host is very generous, knows my needs in advance. Good. I want my baby girl to look beautiful tonight.

“Reagan, baby,” I call out to my wife.

Reagan walks out. Yes, the dress suits her perfectly. The cheetah nods and flashes me a smile.

“I want something dark and elegant,” I say to the cheetah.

“I know,” the cheetah says, amusement flickering in her eyes. She holds Reagan’s wrist and sits her in the chair. “Smokey eyes and a bit of pink gloss on her lips, right?”

  “Right,” I nod.

I rise to my feet and go to have a shower. My dick is so hard it hurts. I’m gonna wreck my wife tonight.

  Reagan

The cheetah adds some coral blush onto my cheeks.

  “Perfect,” she says.

She must be exhausted by my never-ending questions, but her face doesn’t show that.

  “Thank you, Yvonne,” I say.

“Anytime,” Yvonne says. She picks up a pair of shoes and slides them on my feet. “Perfect.”

I stand up and my legs wobble. “I don’t want those shoes.”

I don’t like shoes to be honest. I like walking on my bare feet. Tasting the ground with one’s soles is pleasant—so many sensations to learn and explore. I want to know them all.

“Maybe ballerina pumps would be more comfortable,” Yvonne says.

“Can I have my feet bare?” I ask.

Gabriel corrects the collar of his white shirt. “Sure. I can carry you, Reagan, so that your little feet won’t get dirty.”

Yvonne chuckles, bows her head at him, and walks off.

I smooth a hand over my high ponytail. “You like it, Gabriel?”

  “I do.”

I shudder at the blaze of his eyes. He looks like a killer. There’s an aura of menace around him. I’m not scared though. I love the danger that radiates from him. It’s mine.

His hand travels to my shoulder, and he runs his fingers across my upper back. He lowers his head and his mouth touches my neck.

“You’ll ruin my make-up, Gabriel.” I move away from him. “Yvonne put in so much effort.”

I’ve never had make-up on. I like it how I look now. Gabriel loves my make-up too. His eyes slide over my face as though he’s caressing me with his gaze.

I like the black dress I’m wearing. Gabriel chose it for me. It means a lot.

Gabriel loves my white summer dress, but it reminds me of the times when I was waiting for him. It was always the same dress. Now that I can choose the clothes for myself, I don’t want that dress. I want to burn it.

  Gabriel

  I’m fucking insane.

Do we even need to leave the room? We could stay in here and fuck like animals. She looks so sexy. I’d put her on all fours and pound her until she screamed with pleasure. Then I’d cuff her and stick some toys into her. She’d love it.

Reagan looks at me like she knows my thoughts, and I gather my wits. She’ll be disappointed if we don’t go downstairs. I can’t disappoint my baby girl. She must be happy all the fucking time.

I open the door for her and gesture for her to go out. We walk down the stairs and one of the waitresses leads us to Seff’s table. The music makes the air vibrate around me and the strobe lights blend with the streaks of purple mist. Lust hangs heavy in the air.

Reagan settles herself on the couch, and I sit down beside her.

Seff leans towards me. “She’s really beautiful.”

  “She is,” I say.

A stripper walks onto the stage and howls greet her. Reagan watches her dance, mesmerised. Our drinks arrive on the table.

I pull my wife into my lap. “You like it?”

The thought that my wife is here with me, watching that stripper gyrating around the pole, causes a mad hunger to fill my veins. My hunger for my wife. I want to devour Reagan.

There’re no rules in here—just unrestrained lust and darkness. I could have my wife impaled on my cock, coming over and over again, with the other people fucking in the background. With the music heating our senses. With the drinks consuming our blood.

I will have her like this. In a few hundred years. When our kids and their kids are adults.

  Reagan

I nod. Everything is dark, dense, and sensual. I want to dance, connect to the primal energy wafting through the air and through the people seeking entertainment in here. Heat fills my veins.

  “Can I dance?” I ask.

Gabriel kisses my shoulder. “If you want to.” He runs his tongue up my neck.

I shiver as heat fills my tummy. I lean back and rest my head against his shoulder.

“I want to dance with you,” I say.

“Okay, let’s dance then,” Gabriel says.

He shoves me off and pulls me towards where two women and two men are dancing. All eyes are on me, and I don’t know why.

I can sense the elemental vibes connecting the dancers, as elemental as I was before.

  Gabriel

She shimmers like the heart of the forest, sways, as her aura follows her in graceful streaks and dissipates. Reagan moves again as her aura appears and follows her in the opposite direction. Reagan moves faster and her aura starts resembling bright green polar lights.

Fucking hell. I’ve never seen anything like this before. So pristine. So elemental. So erotic. Yeah, all the men are staring at her with hungry eyes. An urge of murder fills my veins.

I shoot my arms towards Reagan and yank her to me. Her back rests against my chest. She raises her arms as her hands hold my neck.

  “Reagan, what are you?”

She pulls my neck down, bringing my lips to hers. She kisses me like she wants to devour me. I love it.

For a moment, it feels like we’re all pure lust and pure love. Like there’s no time, just never-ending green space. We are as one. Our kiss becomes as wild as a strong wind in the desert. I shove my hand between her thighs and move it up to her hea
t. Her ass rubs against my erection. We sway as I spread her wet folds and shove a finger inside her. She moans and tenses against me. I push two fingers into her. I feel her pain and pleasure. I slide my fingers in and out. Her tight pussy clenches around them.

Reagan tears herself away from me. I’m stunned and angry. I want more. She grabs my hand and pulls me towards our table.

Seff moves aside as Reagan pushes me onto the couch. I sit down, leaning back, and she crawls into my lap. Her irises are bright green. She rips the front of my shirt open and runs her wet little tongue across my pec. I’m her slave. Everything pulses inside me and around me. Seff raises a bottle of vodka to me and takes a long pull straight from it. Reagan circles my nipple with her tongue and then plants hot kisses up to my jaw. She sucks on my lower lip as her hand dives under my trousers. Her little fingers close around my cock. I love it.

She strokes me slowly with her mouth pressed against my neck. Seff offers me a chalice filled with vloyees dust. It glitters with blue, red and green. I shake my head. I don’t need any drugs tonight. Reagan is my only drug and my only addiction. Cael and I have inhaled vloyees a few times. That was during the parties in our clubhouse. Yep, I used to be naughty. Vloyees gives pleasant, very vivid visuals of one’s darkest desires, accompanied by heightened sensations. Reagan is my darkest desire. My high. I need only her.

Each time, I used vloyees, I saw the forest. Very fucking weird. Cael saw bats. Even more weird. Each time, we used vloyees, we had a terrible hangover the following morning. That was normal.

Reagan’s mouth moves down my chest, and she starts unbuttoning my trousers to free my cock. I fight off the urge to let her go down on me in here. It would feel good, but the last remnants of my rationality stop me from doing so. I salute Seff and lift myself with my girl in my arms. We need some place private. In the future? We’ll see how naughty Reagan and I can be together.

I carry Reagan to the restroom and put her onto the golden sofa that looks three centuries old. A row of marble washbasins stretches at the opposite wall. Reagan kneels, putting her hands on the backrest. She glances at her reflection in the round antique mirror. I lift her dress and glide my palm over her ass cheek.

“My girl wants to get fucked, right?”

She turns to me and unbuttons my trousers. She frees my hard cock and wraps her mouth around the head. Fuck. There’s no rationality inside me left. Reagan swirls her tongue around the head of my cock. I wind her hair around my fist and thrust into her mouth. I can watch us in the mirror. I slide my cock in and out, deeper, faster, until she gags. I love it. I slam in and she gags again. I pull out and turn her so her hands rest against the backrest. I lift her dress, pull her panties aside and drive my cock into her from behind. She whimpers.

  “You want more, Reagan?”

  “More,” she gasps.

  “Harder?”

  “Harder, Gabriel.”

I thrust into her so hard she screams. Her pained expression in the mirror makes me turn into an animal.

“Say ‘fuck me hard’,” I demand.

  “Fuck me hard, Gabriel.”

  “Say you love it hard.”

“I love it hard, Gabriel. I love you.”

I pound into her as her whimpers crescendo. My fingers dig into her hips and I see her shatter. Her scream tears through the air, bringing me to the brink. I push into her three more times and my pleasure ripples through me. She grows limp and curls up into a ball.

I put my dick back into my trousers and scoop her up into my arms. My cum is dripping out of her.

I will kill whoever dares look at her. She. Is. Mine. Forever.

I carry her to the bedroom and she smiles at me. She feels so pleasantly limp in my arms.

“What was inside the chalice?” she rasps.

  “Some really bad stuff.”

“But your friend offered it to you.”

  “Well…” I clench my jaw.

  “Have you used it before?”

“Once.” My jaw muscles twitch. “Or twice.”

  “Can I use it?”

  “No way in hell.”

Her wide eyes lock on mine. I lay her on the bed and remove her dress. Her hips are bruised from my fingers.

“In a millennium or two,” I say. “We’ll lock ourselves away in some place nice and try vloyees.”

“Okay.” She yawns and then mumbles something as she falls asleep.

I remove her drenched panties and toss them onto the floor. A thought stirs in my head and sends ice into my veins. Is she an immortal?

I shake off my trousers and lie down beside her. If she isn’t an immortal, there’s a way to fix this.

I enclose my wife in my embrace and guard her.

When we wake up the next morning, I suggest that we go to town again, because I can’t finish off my own wife, right?

Everything is so perfect, so good. I see a flower shop, so I turn towards it. Reagan tears her hand away from mine. I see her run towards a stall with balloons. I shake my head and follow her. She circles the stall, one, two, three times. Then she’s gone.

“Reagan,” I rumble and the people around me fix their eyes on me.

I circle the stall and turn my head in every direction. Then I sense how cold and sleepy she is, but I can’t see her. My heart dies.

A hand squeezes my shoulder. I turn my head and see Seff.

“She has my runes on her back,” he says.

  “I can feel her.”

“Of course, you can feel her.” He looks at me like I’m an idiot. “She’s your wife.”

“We retired over two hundred years ago,” I say, trying to explain myself. “I’m just a simple guy with a pair of wings. I don’t remember many things.”

One day, we decided to leave Heaven for good and live on Earth permanently—Raphael came up with the idea to found our club. We started our retirement as a street gang in Edinburgh. After the WW2, we named ourselves the Salvation Ghosts MC.

Younger archangels with the support of Azrael and Raziel take care of Heaven and Earth. We offer advice and support when needed, but otherwise we want to be left in peace. We want to be forgotten.

“Yeah, yeah.” Seff shoves me forward and points his finger to the runes glittering in a line as though they are marking somebody’s way.

We rush along them. They lead us from the stall towards the old hotel and outside the town.

“This shit with Tamara and the others was sorted out in a pretty impressing way,” Seff says.

“The rebels did a good job.”

Yes, that traitorous bitch, Lilith knew how to make fools of Azrael and Raziel. She seduced them as Archangel Tamara. She started a war with the intention to rule over the earth, but the Fallen’s offspring had grown in strength in the meantime and brought order to earth back again. New order. It took our chains off us. Nobody needed us any longer, so we could enjoy our retirement even more. We started helping humans because we wanted to, not because we were imprinted to. That’s a huge difference. We can choose not to help the humans. We can choose to be like them. We can choose to be selfish and there’s nothing wrong with that.

  Seff grins. “The Fallen—“

“None of my business. I am a club member. I sometimes hunt a monster, that’s all.”

But most of all, I’m a married man now and my wife needs me. The youngsters can take care of heaven business.

We climb a hill, red-bricked houses on our left and the woods on our right. A delicate mist layers the fields that stretch from the line of cliffs on the horizon towards the hill. I see wooden fences, paths, and about twenty sheep in the distance.

We pick up the pace, the runes shining brighter and brighter. Uneasiness sits on my chest. My heart pounds in my chest. We pass a rock formation, the area desolated as though it’s a desert. Silent in an ominous way.

  Reagan

I feel breathless. She’s yanking me back, hissing like snakes, rumbling like crashes of thunder. And she’s as peaceful and sil
ent as a pond hidden in the woods and illuminated by the moonlight.

“I don’t want to go with you,” I yell.

My voice echoes in the fog and dies. It’s cold. I used to be cold and I didn’t mind. Now I want the heat only Gabriel can give me.

I pull forward, my muscles taut with effort, but she pulls me back to where I belong.

  It’s not right, I know.

  “I know,” I cry out.

But he loves me, and I love him. Love should be right? Ours isn’t. Ours should have never happened.

“I don’t care,” I yell. “We have the right to love each other.”

I take a step forward, but she makes me slide two steps back. Things should be right, orderly. This is the law.

“I don’t care,” I gasp. “I’m real. I want to be real.” I roll my fingers into fists and lean slightly forward. “I have the right to love.” I growl and step forward. “Let me go.”

I will find Gabriel, and I will make him keep me forever. I will keep fighting.

Then I see the eyes of evil. Two abysses of insanity. Two abysses of sin.

There’s a crack in her greyness, a crack that our love has caused. This crack has been bringing evil to me.

It’s dark. It’s red. I scream until everything is blank.

  Chapter 10

  Gabriel

We pass another rock formation. I see something I never expected to see. My heart freezes. My eyes travel to Reagan. She’s standing by a corpse. It’s a man and he’s lying on the grass with his throat ripped out—a murderer who escaped from prison three days ago—that’s what the energy radiating from his dead body is telling me.

Reagan’s hands are covered in blood.

  “Fuck,” Seff says behind me.

Rain starts to drizzle. Everything inside me stiffens.

I look over my shoulder. “You’re gonna keep quiet, man.”

“None of my business,” Seff says.

I hold a hand for Reagan. “Come here, sweetheart. I won’t hurt you.”

  She shakes her head. “No.”

  “Come here,” I repeat.

I need to take her some place safe. I need to hide her before Raphael and the others learn who’s killing the criminals on our turf.

“Reagan, darling, we have to go,” I say as gently as I can manage.
