Her moan as he split her deliciously wet folds to find her clit had his cock dripping copious amounts of pre-come.
“So wet for me, baby. I’m going to lean you forward and drive into you. You want that?”
“I want you. Please, Adam.”
That did it for him. Keelee was the strongest person he knew, and when she begged? God, that propelled him from wanting to be in her to absolutely having to be in her. Adam reached for his toiletry bag to grab a condom. Her hand came down on his, stopping him.
His questioning eyes met hers in the mirror. “You won’t be needing them.”
A huff of laughter pushed out. “Oh, baby, I’m definitely going to need at least one. No way I’m being denied tonight.” His hips rotated behind her and she pushed back into him.
“Maybe I didn’t say that right. Adam, you don’t need to wear them any longer.”
Ice-freaking-cold water couldn’t have stopped his lust quicker. He tensed behind her. “What?”
“The seasickness? It wasn’t. I’m pregnant.”
He felt his hands shaking on her waist. Adam closed his eye and leaned into her, resting his head on her shoulder. Her hand cupped his cheek. Instinctively he turned into her caress and kissed her palm.
“Adam, talk to me. Please.” He picked up on a tremble to her voice. She sounded unsure, scared.
He spun her around and buried her in a hug. Try as he might, he couldn’t stop the tears. Fuck, he was such a freaking wuss. He saw the signs and convinced himself he was wrong. He was diligent in using protection. They had talked in generalities about children, but he wasn’t sure…
Adam pulled back far enough to kiss his wife. Their tears mingled in the heat of the kiss. He broke away and pulled her back into the bear hug he had on her.
“We’ll need to get the tests done, Kee. If I’m a carrier for Downs, there is a chance our baby will have it.”
Keelee pulled away from him and nodded. “I know. I looked it up. But Adam, how does that make any difference? I want our baby no matter what limitations he or she may have. I’ll love our baby. Please, be happy?”
Adam’s heart dropped to his knees. How could he explain the torrent of emotions running through him? “Oh, my beautiful angel. Keelee, I am happy. I’m overwhelmed and I’m blessed. I love you. Thank you, baby. Thank you for loving me, when I couldn’t love you. Thank you for never giving up on me and thank you for being the woman I want to build a family with, grow old with and spend eternity with.”
Her laugh mixed with a sob as she lowered her lips to his. “You’re welcome, my love. If you still want me, may I suggest you get up and take me out to that big bed?”
“Mrs. Cassidy, I like the way you think.”
“Dr. Cassidy, shut up and love me.”
“For the rest of my life, Kee. For the rest of my life.”
