Loving his ANGEL Page 3

by Megan Hetherington

“Oh. My. God. I can’t believe I’m actually here, spending the night with you.” She put her hand to her mouth in an attempt to stop the verbal diarrhea. “Shit no… I mean I can’t believe I’m sat at the same table as you at these awards. Not spend the night.” Shaking her head furiously. “No, definitely not the night. Well not the whole night. Shit! Sorry.” With break neck speed she volleyed from Jonny to Eliza and back to Jonny again.

Jonny glanced across nervously at Eliza, who was now doubled up laughing. Her hand on her stomach, in pain. Once she regained her composure she explained, “Tamara’s just a bit star struck, aren’t you honey.”

Tamara, grateful for Eliza helping her out of the predicament, nodded frantically.

Jonny was used to groupies and it never failed to amaze him how brazen they were. Sometimes physically pushing Eliza out of the way to get to him. Never were they tongue tied or as nervous as this girl stood before him. It amused him.

“Oh I’m so, so sorry. Yes, I’m nervous. When Dirky asked me to come along I nearly peed my pants. Oh and call me Tammy, everyone does.”

“OK, nice to meet you Tammy.”

“Sorry. I’d better get back to Dirky.” She curtsied and backed away from him, like he was royalty.

“What the hell was that all about?” Jonny asked Eliza. “And Dirky? Does he know she’s calling him Dirky?”

“She’s just shy and young. She’s studying at the University and has been fretting about what to wear and what to say. As you can imagine, Dirk was no sage when it came offering advice on that. It’s bound to be his fault that she’s dressed like a stripper.”

He wryly pulled one corner of his mouth up. Typical Dirk, managing to get any girl to fulfil his fantasies. And not wasting any time about it either. Having only just broken up with his last girlfriend.

Eliza sat down next to Jonny, sipping from the beer bottle he had given her earlier.

“Hey, do you know we’ve won two of the awards tonight?” Jonny asked enthusiastically.

  “Yeah. Jim Bob told me.”

“When? Why am I the last to find out anything?”

“You’re not. You just don’t listen. You take after your father. According to your mother, that is.” She playfully poked him in the side with her finger, making him squirm.

“Well as long you don’t turn into my mother, that’s fine.” He returned the prod. “So which awards have we won?”

“Wait and see.” She picked up her bottle again, this time letting it just tease her lips as she smiled over it.

“Wait and see! You mean you know and you’re not gonna tell me. Unbelievable!” He lowered his voice and leant in to her. “You definitely need a spanking when I get you home.”

Eliza rose to the challenge. “Oooh, Mr Harrison. When did you get all domineering?” Her eyes glinting mischievously.

“When you started being a naughty girl.” He carried on raising the heat of their conversation.

“I thought you liked it when I was naughty?” Rocking from side to side on her seat in a provocative manner. Then, as if there was no-one else in the three thousand seater room, she looked up at him through her professionally feathered eyelashes, opened her mouth slightly and let her top lip linger seductively before dragging her tongue over it. A moist trail glistening on her lips, just begging to be kissed.

“Jesus, Eliza.” Jonny put a hand behind her head and pulled her onto his mouth. Nipping her top lip with his teeth. “You’re such a fucking turn on,” he growled. “I’ve got a raging hard on now. We’re gonna have to go somewhere private.”

She pulled away. “What now? We’ve only just got here.” Raising the volume and pitch of her voice.

“I don’t fucking care. I need you. Now,” he demanded.

Taking a firm hold of her hand, he pulled her up and away from the table.

“Where are you two going?” protested Jim Bob, the top button of his waistcoat pinging open under the stress.

Eliza just shrugged her shoulders back at him, having to trot in her high heel boots to keep up with Jonny’s strides.

He led her to the performers’ back stage area, straight past all of the security guards and into one of the dressing rooms.

Locking the door behind them, he wasted no time.

He ripped open the buttons on her leather jeans and roughly pushed them down the top of her thighs as she simultaneously undid his.

Pulling her thong to one side, he paused with satisfactory relief at being in the place he so urgently needed to be.

He bit on the corner of his lower lip, to stop it falling open. “Eliza, you’re so fucking hot and wet.”

Sliding one, then two, fingers up into her. Gliding them out and slowly circling her clit with them. He trailed his mouth down her neck. Staying to suck and lick at the top of her shoulder. His fervent attention at both places making her squirm uncontrollably.

Her jeans were practically sprayed on. He had watched her writhe into them earlier, doing a horizontal dance on the bed to fasten them up. He knew there was no way he was going to get them further down her legs anytime soon.

Instead, he spun her around and steered her towards the back of a sofa in the middle of the room. Bending her over it, he continued to utilise his fingers. The muscles in the backs of her legs and buttocks tight from bending over in high heels. He rubbed his free hand up her thighs, kneading a handful of each cheek in his palm.

“Your arse is so fucking gorgeous Eliza.” He gently slapped her; her cheeks trembled.

He released his length from his trousers and pushed it down so it nestled back up in between her cheeks. She clenched, squeezing herself on to him. Hardening in to her heat.

“I need to feel your tits. Get them out for me Eliza.” He said roughly.

She did as she was commanded and pushed up her t-shirt and pulled down the cups on her bra.

  “Good girl.”

Resting over her, he ran his tongue up the top of her spine; nuzzling in behind her ear. His breath, heavy and hot.

Reaching around with his hand, he cupped each breast in turn. Squeezing one towards the other so he could rub both nipples at the same time with his outstretched thumb and little finger. They peaked instantaneously.

She gyrated her backside, moving him with her.

“I’m gonna fuck you ’til you scream, you naughty girl,” he growled in her ear.

“Go on then,” she taunted. “What are you waiting for?”

He pulled his hips back and then repositioned himself at her entrance. Still fingering her clit with one hand and rubbing her nipples with the other.

No need to direct himself in anymore. His cock knew exactly where it was going when anywhere near her entrance. The heat and wetness an unfailing guide.

He slammed in. Inch by glorious inch, filling her until she let out a gasp, putting her hands on the back of the sofa to stop him from launching her over it.

Carefully sliding back out. Teasing her with small pushes in and out, just at the tip. She raised her backside up more to invite him back in.

  “Jonny,” she begged.

Wham! Again all the way in.

Her knuckles whitened as she tightened her grip.

And again. Then again and again. Faster. Harder. Deeper.

Jonny grunting, Eliza gasping, louder with every thrust.

Their passion interrupted by the handle on the door clicking up and down repeatedly.

Eliza stilled and whispered back to Jonny. “Someone’s trying to get in.”

“I don’t care. I’m not stopping now,” he rumbled.

The thrusts not faltering. The movement of his finger, light, but matching his pace.

She pushed one last time back against him. Then he felt her spasm inside, legs trembling underneath her. The intense sensation of her coming around his cock gave him no choice but to release inside her.

They stood panting. Jellied legs. Hearts still racing. His head resting on the top of her neck. Her knuckles still w
hite from the grip.

He withdrew and turned her around to him, cuddling and kissing her. Nuzzling their noses together.

“Wow that was intense,” she panted.

“So come on then, which awards have we won?”

“You are too much!” She slapped him on the chest. “Let’s get back and find out.”

He passed her some wipes from one of the make-up stations. She cleaned up, pushing her bra back to its usual supportive place and wriggled her leather jeans back over her behind.

Jonny sat on the back of the sofa watching her. “Shit Eliza, seeing you do that just makes me want to pull them back down again.”

“Well you can’t. We’ve got to get back to our seats. Can you imagine if they announce that we’ve won one of the awards and they set the spotlight off searching for us and we come out of here directly into it.”

“Ha. Now that would be funny.”

She pushed him off the sofa and towards the door.

He turned the thumb-lock, that had secured their privacy, and opened the door to two guys trying to get in. A uniformed guard and a man in a dark suit with an earpiece. The burly guard had a large bunch of keys, inspecting each one in turn as if to find the right one for the door they had just come through.

The guards, surprised at the escapees rushing past them, didn’t have time to say anything and just shrugged at each other.

Eliza and Jonny giggled. Nearly caught.

Nobody asked where they had been when they got back to the table. Their flushed cheeks probably said enough.

Dirk simply passed Jonny a bottle of beer and clinked it with his. Jonny not sure how to react at the macho acknowledgement of the dirty deed being done.

The first performers of the night finished their two song lead in to the awards. A popular Dutch band who the crowd reacted positively to. The host, an over enthusiastic local TV personality, thanked them and introduced the audience to the first award category.

“As you know we are here to celebrate European music and the bands, artists and teams that create it. I’m so excited to introduce you all to the first award category of the night. Best New Group. A soulful collection of bands from around Europe, all at the beginning of their careers. So without further ado, the nominations for the best newcomers are: Karma Life; Black Python; Honey Pot; Joe Crepin and Crash.”

  Jonny turned to Eliza. “Crash?”

“Hmm, didn’t know they were still performing.” She placed a supportive hand on his knee.

“JB, did you know about this. Are they here?”

He shook his head. “No I didn’t. Not seen the boys since they did their only tour with you a few years back. The first time I met you. I did know they had released an album with a new label though. Must be why they’ve got a nomination.”

“Really? Don’t know how I missed that?” Jonny said with more than a hint of sarcasm.

The big TV screen behind the presenter showed a brief video excerpt from each of the nominees. The biggest cheer went for Karma Life of course.

Jonny looked around the buzzing room, to see which one of the tables reacted when the video from Crash was shown. He wanted to be aware of their position when he went up to the stage later on. Gauge their reaction when Karma Life won an award. The dimly lit room wasn’t revealing anything. He thought their video surprisingly good though.

“And the first award of the night, Best New Group, goes to…” The MC paused whilst the house band did a customary drum roll. “Joe Crepin.”

The audience clapped and whistled enthusiastically, everyone turning this way and that in their seats to welcome the newcomer onto the stage.

The spotlight spun around the room before finally stopping on a table near to the back. The young blues rock artist, donning a wide brimmed black hat, was rooted to his seat. His manager urged him up and he stumbled nervously up to the front of the room and onto the stage; his hand placed firmly over his mouth in disbelief.

“That’s cool. Really cool.” Jonny commented to Eliza. “A proper newbie. Very talented too.” He was also secretly pleased Crash didn’t win.

Once he got into his stride the winner passionately thanked everyone involved. Individually. Every single person he had ever encountered since launching his career at the tender age of fourteen. In the end, the host had to step in to move the proceedings on, before they ran seriously over time.

Jonny turned around to comment some more about the youngster to Eliza and caught her staring at him with a twinkle in her eye and a beam on her face.

  “What’s up?”

“I’m just thinking of you and what you just did to me. A far cry from when we first met. Do you remember that time I first spoke to you?”

  “When?”

“You were practicing before a show and I walked up to you and asked if you wanted to fuck. I frightened the hell out of you. And now look at you. Leading me away in the middle of an awards ceremony.”

“Yeah and I’ll do it again if you don’t start behaving.” He put his arm around her shoulders, pulling her onto his mouth and whispered. “Naughty girl.”

She put a hand onto his bicep that was tensed around her neck. Sizing it up.

He liked the way she was responding to this new masterful Jonny.

Karma Life’s first win of the night was for Best Video. They showed the full ten-minute version of “Samsara”. The rendition with the extended intro they had recorded in the basement studio at Villa Solimar.

The video was filmed at Jonny and Eliza’s secret cove in Ibiza and had been hailed as an exceptional interpretation of musical art. Jonny wasn’t at the video shoot though. He had lost the plot in reaction to Eliza running away to find herself, and was sulking in Marseilles. He hoped the presenter wouldn’t ask anything about his absence or make some tabloid fueled comment about it when they all went up on stage to accept the award.

Eliza took the spotlight, whilst Jonny loitered behind Dirk and Kurt. He took the opportunity to look from the elevated position on stage at the tables below to see if he could see Crash.

His curiosity had got the better of him.

He locked eyes with Simon. A few tables back.

He couldn’t stop the look of contempt growing on his face. Even after all this time and the success with Karma Life and in his personal life with Eliza, he still felt bitter towards Simon. For pushing him out of Crash.

Karma Life went on to win two more awards, so three in total. Even Jim Bob didn’t know everything.

They were crowned Best Dutch Group and the most prestigious of the night, Best Rock Group.

They were all buzzing. On a real high. Itching to get to the after party and celebrate their success.

  Chapter Five

Karma Life heaved their way through the army of reporters and fans crowding the hotel lobby. The security guards hired by the party organisers had to be mobilised to force back the crowds and create a human barrier. Interlocking their arms to allow a safe path for the group to pass through.

Jonny put a protective arm around Eliza, ready to push out at anyone that came close; the other arm down at his side, fist curled at the ready. Kurt did the same with Leesa and Dirk simply snarled at anyone that came close to him or his date for the night.

Once inside, the partygoers all stopped to cheer and whistle in their entrance. Quickly drowning out Prince’s new release, “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World.”

Jonny felt fit to burst. The last nine months had been awesome and he didn’t believe that it could ever get better than this. From rock bottom to rock gods.

He looked at Eliza. His beautiful Angel. Prince’s lyrics perfectly matching the way he felt about her.

Dropping a step behind her, fingers still laced into his, he encouraged her go out in front. She was the lead singer after all and the face of Karma Life. The inspiration for their most successful hit, his song, “Samsara”. They were models on a catwalk, everyone’s eyes scanning their forms. The pair of them gliding silently throug
h the scene.

Kurt caught up with Jonny, pulling him out of his trance with a sharp tug on his sleeve.

“Have you seen who’s over there?” Nodding in the direction of Crash, who were leant up against a wall, watching on.

He glanced across and held up his hand in acknowledgement at the three guys. Joe and Badger saluted back. Simon looked away. Jonny was top dog now and feeling confident enough to approach them.

“Here, Eliza.” Jonny handed over a glass of champagne, deftly swiped from one of the passing silver trays. “I’m just gonna go over to the guys from Crash. I won’t be long.”

“Okay. Just remember to keep your cool, yeah? I know how Simon likes to wind you up.”

“Hey. I’m Mr Cool. No-one’s gonna wind me up tonight. Especially him.” He put both hands on the side of her face and held her on to an overtly passionate kiss; reinforcing to her that he was in a good mood and nothing could bring him down. Also a signal to the boys from Crash that most beautiful woman at the party belonged to him.

Jonny paraded across the room, exchanging manly clasps with Joe and Badger before extending a hand to Simon. After an uncomfortable pause, Simon flicked away his fringe, took Jonny’s hand and begrudgingly smiled. The reluctance to pull up the corners of his mouth, giving way to a lop sided effort, that was most certainly not replicated in the look in his stony eyes.

“Nice one with the nomination,” Jonny complimented.

“Thanks. You guys really stole the show though.” Joe beamed. His freckled face showing no sign of ageing, still boyish and innocent.

“You’ve done really well mate. Genuinely pleased for you,” added Badger. The distinctive white stripe now died black, along with the rest of his hair.

“Cheers. It’s not all been plain sailing but I always had faith in Karma Life and it’s a privilege to be part of their family now.” Jonny letting his natural modesty shine through. The hint of sarcasm only there for Simon’s benefit.

“Well you have to take some of the credit man. It was your song after all that catapulted Karma Life into the lime light.” Joe praised Jonny with a hearty slap on the back. Not that it rocked Jonny in the slightest. He had a disciplined core and it would take more than a palm from Crash’s lead guitarist to unsteady him. Joe’s palm probably smarted more from the slap than Jonny’s back did.
