A House to Mend a Broken Heart Page 29

by Sherlock, Alison

‘What a lovely couple they make,’ said Rose with a happy sigh.

Arthur nodded. ‘They’ll make a fine earl and countess.’

Rose linked her arm with his. ‘Life is coming back to our lovely home, isn’t it? You know, I’m glad. The old place deserves it, don’t you think?’

‘I think Willow Tree Hall is in very safe hands,’ Arthur told her, squeezing her hand with his.

As they turned around to head back into the warmth, a soft gust of wind caused the giant willow tree to bow and wave its long branches, as if also nodding its approval for the future of the grand old house.

We hope you enjoyed this book!

The next book in the Welcome to Willow Tree Hall series will be released in spring 2018
