  “Fat hopes! Blood Bone Evil God!”

  The pursuers chased after him and they continued to close the gaps between them. Their strength were just too powerful; with that kind of power, even a pig could breach through the dimension and travel countless miles away in one step, not to mention these very successful Qi Practitioners.

  Again, Zhong Yue shifted forms again; he turned into the three legged and winged celestial being and he shouted, “Brother Bai, carry us!”

  Hearing his words, Bai Canghai dashed out from Zhong Yue’s light wheel in lightning speed. As soon as he flew out, he turned into a golden winged Peng and carried them as he flew away in high speed.

  Zhong Yue landed on this huge Peng, turned around and realized that everything behind them became extremely horrifying; the original power of the 32 lords were nothing to him but after performing the blood ritual, their power became something that should be afraid of.

  And as the gap between them closed, the power emitted from the spells could be felt clearly.

  I’ve gotta kill some of them first!

  The ghost fire in Zhong Yue’s eyes sparked, a divine ray shined brightly, turned into a banner in the air and this particular banner had a Six Path Reincarnation spinning around.

  Zhong Yue held onto this huge banner and swung it vigorously. The Qi Practitioner leading the way felt that his Yuan Shen was forcefully dragged out from his body. The Qi Practitioner immediately pressed down his Yuan Shen and through his powerful strength, he locked his Yuan Shen firmly into his body.

  At the same time, Zhong Yue’s banner turned into his saber and he slashed his saber towards his foe.

  Chi la—

  Blood spilled from the air and the body of the lord was split apart!

  Guang guang guang—

  A huge bell flew towards Zhong Yue and a lord stood behind the bell. He had nine bird heads and eight arms, and as he kept punching the bell, he created destructive sound waves that struck at Zhong Yue.

  Zhong Yue’s bones creaked under the immense impact and Bai Canghai, who transformed into the golden winged Peng, let out a shriek before falling down from the sky.

  Unlike Zhong Yue, Bai Canghai did not cultivate the Immortal Body, thus, he couldn’t withstand the power of these Qi Practitioners.

  Zhong Yue shapeshifted again, turning himself into the three legged and six eyed celestial.

  The roar and the sound of the bell collided violently. As they clashed, the bell started to crack and the shocked lord decided to go all in as he shouted, “Impossible! You won’t be able to win against my power!”

  Determined and desperate to beat Zhong Yue, the lord channelled all his power into the bell, but it did not take long until his bell completely got destroyed. The lord tried to visualize another bell but he realized a blazing sun had now emerged in front of him. From the sun then came a golden crow and it bore intense saber presence that engulfed the lord and his companions behind him!

  “Resistance is futile!”

  Angry shouts could be heard and the many lords immediately rushed forward, each casting spells that nullified the saber attacks and sent Zhong Yue flying far far away!

  Along with Zhong Yue, Bai Canghai suffered even more injuries and while he was also sent flying away, he was sent back into Zhong Yue’s secret realm to treat his wounds.

  Though his saber attacks were nullified or deflected, the lord with the bell fell from the skies, devoid of life force. His Yuan Shen was decimated, and as Zhong Yue’s primary target, the others effortlessly fended off his attack, but this lord did not, and Zhong Yue attacked the others because he merely wanted to prevent them from saving the lord with the bell.

  “Sansou, your turn!” Zhong Yue shouted as he regained his balance.

  Ma Sansou flew out from his secret realm quickly and turned into his original form, which was a three headed dragon turtle. The patterns on his shell looked like hemp ropes. Thus, his race was also called the Ma Ao Celestial Race. As he came rushing out from Zhong Yue’s Yuan Shen secret realm, he shouted, “Don’t worry, I am very fast too and my defense is better than that Brat Bai’s!”

  Zhong Yue stood on his back and the turtle started running quickly with his four legs, crushing everything in his path, but his speed was inevitably slower than Bai Canghai’s.

  But he couldn’t be bothered anymore as the situation was very dire at the moment. He turned around and took a look at the enemies behind him and the bones on his body fell down but new bones grew instantly as the old ones fell off.

  If it was during the usual times, he could reattach the bones back, but at this urgent situation, reattaching the bones would be very quick but they would break easily if struck again. Thus, he would be better off if he just regenerate new bones even though they would not be as solid as the old ones.

  “This time, I have to kill two at least!” murmured Zhong Yue.

  He reached out his palms and his saber appeared in his hands while the pursuers charged at him. He unsheathed his saber, swung it forward and divine rays overwhelmed the many lords giving chase.

  It was the [Moon Tide]!

  Then, instead of backing off, he charged at the many lords with relentless power.

  Hong long—

  He stopped at the middle of the enemy ranks, and this time, his saber became the Solar Divine Saber and he swung it at one of the lords. Then, he quickly circled around him and he would deliver an rapid attack whenever he sees a chance.

  “How dare you!”

  Then came the attacks of the other lords and the saber in Zhong Yue’s hands turned into a banner. He swung the banner and the lords’ Yuan Shen started to shake, which shocked them, forcing them to split a portion of their attention to stabilize their Yuan Shen while they continued with their attacks.

  To their dismay, Zhong Yue’s body broke into pieces, his bones flew everywhere and he evaded the attacks before the broken pieces merged together again. This evasion, however, was not without cost as his bones were shattered; some were finger bones, rib bones, leg bones and even a portion of his skull.

  He then quickly backed off, chased after Ma Sansou while the lords behind him gave chase like mad men.

  As they chased after Zhong Yue, the lord running at the end of their ranks suddenly had a shock as he realized two sabers appeared behind him before they turned into the black and white Tai Chi Art, which launched rays that drilled into his body like dragons and serpents.

  Boom—

  The Yuan Shen in his body immediately exploded and Zhong Yue had claimed another enemy’s life!

  Zhong Yue then returned to Ma Sansou with unbalanced footsteps and quickly tried to regain his balance. He then thought, I need to kill three more, and let’s see if you’re scared or not! Only by killing them to an extent where their courage is gone will I be able to survive….

  Chapter 687: Invincible Calculations |

  It was almost impossible to survive after being surrounded by so many experts. These lords were strengthened by the blood sacrifice and their arcane energy reserves were much deeper than his. It was a battle that could never be won through brute force.

  Not only that, but the skills and tricks he used before couldn’t be used again, otherwise, there would be a great chance that these experts would seize the opportunity to kill him in one fell swoop!

  For example, the way he disassembled his skeleton into pieces of bone in order to evade the attacks of the experts wouldn’t work a second time as the experts had now seen it. If it was used again, it would be quickly countered and all of his bones would be trapped together!

  There were 28 experts. Zhong Yue’s eyes brightened up as he watched the 28 powerful experts with powers like the Heavenly Deity approaching closer. Their auras alone shuddered the clouds in the sky.

  If he fought back while standing on Ma Sansou’s back, Ma Sansou wouldn’t be able to withstand the impact force from the collision. Moreover, he might even be killed after being struck by a few impact forces. Thus, Zhong
Yue could only act aggressively and initiate the battle away from Ma Sansou.

  The Yin and Yang lines surged out and Zhong Yue’s neck grew longer while heads grew out of his elongated neck. The grown heads were closely watching the numerous Yang and Yin Lines being formed.

  The Yang Lines and Yin Lines formed a variety of symbols, namely — Qian, Dui, Li, Zhen, Xun, Kan, Gen, and Kun. And the symbols were still constantly changing.

  This time, he wasn’t calculating the trajectories of the stars and planets, but was trying to calculate the 28 experts’ weaknesses; the flow of their blood essences, the shortcomings of their skills, the positions of their Yuan Shen, the weaknesses of their mortal body, their movements, and their next points of attack!

  After he calculated and took every detail into considerations, he would be able to derive a plan to eliminate them one after another!

  Ghostly fires glimmered in the skulls as he studied the changes and results of over hundreds of millions of symbols.

  All of a sudden, the over hundreds of millions of totem symbols disappeared out of thin air. Zhong Yue bolted away from Ma Sansou’s back and rushed toward the 28 lords who were chasing behind them. When he was still in mid-air, the extra skulls and long neck quickly retracted back into his body.

  On the other hand, countless skills were cast out as soon as he entered the experts’ range. The consolidated power of the skills was too overwhelming for him to withstand forcibly, but each time, Zhong Yue was able to find a narrow opening in the sea of skills and calmly passed through them. It was as if he had gone through the same predicament thousands of times that he knew exactly what to do and where to move in order to evade the skills!

  Of course, he hadn’t experienced any of it before, but his deductive abilities allowed him to calculate the lords’ blood essences, skills, Yuan Shen, strengths, and habits. And putting all those elements into together, he reasonably estiamte their actions in the near future and respond accordingly.

  Zhong Yue passed by a lord’s shoulder, and before the lord could react to his sudden appearance, Zhong Yue raised a divine saber with both hands. When they brushed shoulders, they were back to back but right the next moment, Zhong Yue’s body bones reversed their orientation, and he was now directly facing the lord’s back!

  The divine saber was brought down with great momentum. It cleaved the lord into two complete halves while Zhong Yue’s skull turned one-eight around and two flashes of godly rays shot out toward another lord!

  The lord’s body swayed and shrunk down countless times into the size of a speck of dust as he tried to escape the [Dragon Shears].

  However, Zhong Yue foresaw his actions and the [Dragon Shears] shrunk as the lord shrunk. Eventually, the lord couldn’t escape his fate and was beheaded along with his Yuan Shen.

  This was the power of Zhong Yue’s prediction. The two lords were strong and powerful Qi Practitioners. Yet, Zhong Yue saw through their personalities, thoughts, and even their instincts, allowing him to slay them in just a matter of seconds!

  At this time, the lords recollected their thoughts and immediately trapped him in the center. Although Zhong Yue killed two experts, he had also fallen into their encirclement.

  This time, these lords would not give him any chance to escape.

  At a glance, Zhong Yue saw the lords were all prepared, waiting for him to disassemble his body into bone pieces again so they could counter!

  Smart, but not smart enough! Zhong Yue’s body suddenly changed, his mortal body reappeared and merged with his skeleton body. The cloak on his back opened up and fluttered in the breeze.

  Behind him were six Qi Practitioners, they launched their skills and charged with their soul weapons. Whereas a round of hot sun flew out beneath the cloak, turned into a Golden crow and colliding with the incoming attacks!

  At the same time, godly rays rushed out from Zhong Yue’s feet, forming into an altar. It lifted him up while the dead bodies of the two lords appeared on the altar. They were sacrificed and turned into arcane energy that was poured into his body.

  Two surges of Heavenly Deity-like arcane energy billowed into Zhong Yue’s body, skyrocketing his blood essence and cultivation base!

  Oh shit, my calculation was slightly off! Zhong Yue’s face changed drastically as he whined in his heart, Blood sacrificing these two lords needed a split second longer than I calculated, that means…

  It was just a split second, but that was long enough for the attacks to drown the altar. The altar was torn apart and Zhong Yue was sent crashing down into the ground like a comet.

  The earth quaked, and a large crater over a thousand miles in radius formed where Zhong Yue landed. The impact force even evoked a hurricane with sparks of fire that incinerating everything on its path.

  “Go!” The remaining 26 Heavenly Deity-like experts burst into the air. Pagoda Master took the first step and cast the pagoda spinning, blasting it into the pit and cracking the ground with a loud boom!

  Then, the other experts cast out their soul weapons. Some of these weapons was a sword, a spear, an axe, a jade tower, and many others. These weapons made a beautiful arc across the sky and crashed into the pit one after another!

  The bottom of the big pit exploded again and its depth continued to deepen.

  But it didn’t end there, the 26 lords stood in the sky, they yelled and their hands cast out numerous skills that slammed into the pit.

  There were even lords that grew a thousand arms and slammed on the ground like a barrage of arrows falling from the sky!

  The surrounding earth quaked violently as the pit was getting deeper and deeper from each strike. Soon enough, it turned into a pit which its depth was unknown of. They could only see the earth quaking violently with each strike but not the bottom of the pit, let alone Zhong Yue’s current status.

  Faraway, Ma Sansou watched the scene and his spine tingled at the sight. He quickly bolted away and thought, “Senior Martial Brother Evil God is dead. I better run now!”

  Then at this time, a loud explosion suddenly erupted from within the bottom of the pit, and Zhong Yue rose to the sky. Although he recovered his mortal body, the endless strikes still inflicted a significant amount of damage to him.

  It was only a split second’s difference that led to this catastrophic consequence. Attacks from the likes of the Pagoda Master simply couldn’t be withstood with just the Immortal Body. This was because the residual energy of their skills were branded in his wounds as totem patterns. These totem patterns would constantly aggravate his wounds, preventing the healing process.

  Although I missed the timing by a split second, the worship is still completed! Arms and heds grew from his body. He held the twin sabers and unleashed a bloody aura into the surroundings while the six light wheels appeared behind his head. He now felt just like a Heavenly Deity!

  But as he only sacrificed two of the powerful experts, he couldn’t this state for long, merely a few breaths’ time. His offerings were too little, while Pagoda Master and the other lords had their own lower realms that could supply them with an endless stream of energy so that they could maintain their arcane energy in the Heavenly Deity level.

  In turn, the lives of two Qi Practitioners could only sustain Zhong Yue for less than a minute’s time.

  Even so, it’s more than enough for me to commence a killing spree! This time though, it wouldn’t be just three lives that will I reap! Zhong Yue bolted in the air, and a six-eyed Star Toad appeared on the back of his head. Suddenly, the Star Toad disappeared and its six eyes hung in the sky like six bright moons that distorted the space in front of them.

  The lords suddenly felt a peculiar force of energy pulling them thousands of miles apart. they were separated and sent to different places!

  Everyone immediately sensed something ominous and quickly flashed toward Zhong Yue.

  Zhong Yue’s Star Toad Yuan Shen wouldn’t have such abundant arcane energy to slice through space and separate the Qi Practitioners. But the two e
xperts that were blood sacrificed bestowed him with the Heavenly Deity level’s arcane energy, making it possible!

  The experts were rushing over, but Zhong Yue’s four arms whirled like a hurricane as he rushed toward one of the lords.

  As soon as the lord saw Zhong Yue approaching him, he grew out a thousand arms and grabbed a soul weapon in each arm. Then, without any sign of fear, he rushed toward Zhon Yue in a head on collision.

  A thousand soul weapons collided with Zhong Yue’s twin sabers. But in the next second, the lord’s body was lacerated into tiny pieces.

  “Cast!” Zhong Yue yelled, the Innate Golden Crow True Spirit flew out and turned into a three-legged celestial. It reached its hand out and gathered the lord’s remains, its wings spread open and an altar emerged before it. The lord who wasn’t even dead for 10 seconds was blood sacrificed!

  The other lords finally rushed arrived to the battlefield. Their skills were launched as soon as they entered the ranger but it couldn’t change a thing. Zhong Yue suddenly bowed, and the image of a million gods appeared behind him. A lord in front of him couldn’t withstand the pressure from the [Worship of Gods] and was crushed into a bloody fog.

  It was then only the skills finally arrived, Zhong Yue’s four faces had seen the skills coming long ago in his eyes. With a change of thought, a translucent big bell emerged from the sky and shielded him in it.

  Just a split second after the [Shao Hao Bell] was cast out, it was crushed away by the overwhemling skills, and the remaining skills continued to strike on Zhong Yue’s wounded body.

  Fortunately enough, the [Shao Hao Bell] stopped most of the skills and he was not too badly injured.

  Meanwhile, his Innate Golden Crow True Spirit gathered the blood fog of the lord who died under the [Worship of Gods] and continued the blood sacrifice.

  Zhong Yue raised the divine saber with both hands, and cast the [Sun Burst]. The divine saber’s saber will and saber rays swept across the battlefield. The lords were shocked and hurriedly defended themselves, but another comrade still died under the saber. His lifeless body collapsed and free fell toward the ground.
