  Dear Reader,

Since my books crossover a great deal, I recommend reading them as they are written. I tend to mention characters in books they don’t generally occur in, and later in the series, there are full crossovers.

Some readers have contacted me for this list, and I figured I’d pass it on to the rest of you.

While you can read the books by series only, it only enhances the reading experience if you go in order of how I wrote them. I tend to give away secrets…

  I’m sneaky like that.

On the next page, I’ve given you the list.

Dimitri Gideon…it’s your turn to save the girl. She’s worth it.

Poppy Wayne…not all the good ones are taken. Sometimes, they’re just battered and broken.

  My name is Greyson Croft…

  A nd I’m back! While my e
nemies might have reveled in my stumble, they are now done partying. I’ve picked myself up, dusted myself off, and the family is ready to reclaim its throne in Vegas. I’m done being down.

  The only way is up.

We fought the demons that haunted us, and we came out on top. Part one of our mission is complete, and I’m proud of our family.

  We defeated Viktor Marchenko.

  We took him down.

The big bad Russian has bitten the dust. We were trying to stay alive, and in the end, he was the one who didn’t make it out in one piece.

  Vegas was on fire.

He got caught up in the flames.

I couldn’t be happier. There couldn’t be a better place for him than in the fires of Hell.

May he not rest in peace.

May he suffer for eternity for his sins against women.

This one was for Natasha Gideon, and I hope she’s looking down and smiling at the people who love her. I hope she sees that we miss her, and her memory will live on each day in us.

We got this win for her.

  Only, we aren’t done.

  We aren’t even close.

The one-two punch is far from over. You see, we still have one person left to take down in this city. He may not have had anything to do with the sex trafficking, but he’s just as big a blight on the city.

  And a murderer.

There’s one more stain on Las Vegas, and his name is Jeffrey Raye. He’s the commissioner of police, and he’s a bad guy.

  A.

  Very.

  Bad.

  Guy.

He’s supposed to protect and serve, and all he’s doing is serving his own interests.

  That’s all kinds of wrong.

On top of that, we are pretty sure that he killed Thomas Christ to cover-up the murder of Lester Lucas.

  No.

  We know he did it.

Only, we can’t prove it. The man who killed the detective is gone, and where he is…yeah, we can’t question him.

  Hell doesn’t have visiting hours.

So, for now, we must play this the right way—in order to take him down. It’s time to use the system against him, and it will work.

We’re going to use the dirt the FBI has slipped us, and we’re going to hunt down his missing wife.

  Is she dead?

  We have no idea.

  Do we think she is?

  Oh.

  Hell.

  Yes.

There is no doubt in any of our minds that she was ‘handled’. That’s right up Jeffrey Raye’s alley, and we want him to pay for her death.

  Is it revenge?

Well, if revenge is getting blood for spilling Emma’s blood at the hands of Heath Spencer, then yes.

I know that he sent Heath Spencer after my wife at the gala. I know to the deepest, darkest parts of my soul that he wanted her dead to take me down, and he almost succeeded too.

Well, I have news for him.

  He’s an idiot.

Emma lived, and I’m pissed off like a hive of angry wasps. When you swat at what’s mine, I will come back full force, and this is no different.

  Emma is mine.

  Emma is off limits.

If he wants to strike at me, he should come RIGHT at ME!

  So, now, Raye must pay.

I’m coming for him, and when I get the evidence to bury him, it’s going down.

  He can bet on it.

Emma, my wife, my heart, and my soul, may be down for the count, but she still has my back. She’s the rock on which I stand in this storm.

  She always will be.

While she’s recouping, I know she’ll pitch in where she can. She’s tenacious, and you can’t keep her down.

Christopher Ford is back, and there’s a storm brewing in him too. While he is calm on the outside, we all know that the inside is a different story.

  He won’t talk about Natasha.

He won’t bring up her name.

He is running still, and I only hope he stops one day, but that’s something he must deal with on his own time. I can only fight so many wars, and now I’m doing battle on two fronts.

My wingman is back, and he’s sporting a wounded…wing. That’s okay because I’ll take a recovering Dimitri Gideon over no Dimitri Gideon any day.

Even recovering from a gunshot wound, he’s still the most dangerous man in the city—well, next to me.

We are back in the saddle, and we will clean this city up—no matter what.

  That’s our main goal.

  And I must confess…

I have an ulterior motive. I want him to be happy. I want my best friend, my brother, and my partner to find the joy that I’ve found with Emma. So, I am going to help him. He’s spotted his woman-goal, and I’ll keep him on track.

  I must do it.

  He’s my family.

With my son, Curtis, he’s struggling too. Fatherhood is a hard pill to swallow. He’s trying to find his way, and I’ll be there for him. As he holds his child, as he watches his wife, I am there watching over him.

  It’s my duty.

He may not have been born of my blood, but he is born of my heart. When Emma has my son, he won’t take his place. I will have two sons, and that is a gift to any man.

One that I will forever cherish.

Honestly, our family has never been stronger, and it’s growing by leaps and bounds. Tessa and Paris are expecting, and we are happy for them. We want them to experience all the joy they deserve.

They’ve fought a long battle, and the rewards are just ahead. They are going to do fine as parents.

  I can tell.

They are amazing human beings who have a great propensity to love. Those babies will be delivered into a loving home. There is no doubt.

Then, there is my brother, Dante Croft. He’s a character and normally out of control, but something has changed in him. Little Sadie Croft has brought out something in him that wasn’t there before.

  His maternal instinct.

The ex-soldier has a much softer side.

  Beneath the crass humor.

  Beneath the sarcasm.

  Beneath the badassery.

There is the heart of a mother AND father. It is beautiful to see it flourish as he wants to have a child with his husband.

  I’m all for that.

In fact, I’m going to do anything, and everything, that I can to help them along. There are a lot of troubled girls in Vegas looking for people to raise their babies and I know two who will excel at it too.

I’m going to make sure I help Steele get his wish to be a ‘mother’. As the patriarch of this family, it’s my duty to supply anything, and everything, that they need.

It’s my pleasure to do that. After all, I’ve learned a lesson in everything that’s happened in the last few weeks.

  Family matters.

  You must persevere.

When in doubt, lean on your loved ones.

Oh, and the most important lesson of them all.

If you fuck with anyone in the Croft family, my retribution will be mighty, swift, and like nothing you’ve seen before.

  Family first.

Now, Vegas, here I come. I’m back, and I have my second wind. Let’s get you back to where you should be.

  Corruption free.

  Commissioner free.

  And run by a Croft.

  Sincerely,

  Greyson Croft

  Prologue

  Commissioner Raye’s

  Home

T o say that he was freaked out would be an understatement. At the gala, right before Emma Croft was stabbed in the chest by Heath Spencer, he’d been speaking to Greyson Croft, and it wasn’t a good conversation.

  The man wasn’t having it.

He’d tried his best to offer a truce in this war. After all, both sides had been battered, beaten, and worn down.

  Hell!

He’d gone through countless detectives, snitches, and captains to ta
ke down Croft, and he couldn’t do it. The man was impenetrable.

  That was clear.

  He wanted off this ride.

Honestly, Jeffrey Raye was tired of looking over his shoulder to see how close Greyson Croft was to catching him.

  He was exhausted.

  Paranoid.

Yes, he’d ordered the death of Lester Lucas to frame Riley Henderson.

Yes, he’d killed Thomas Christ in order to cover it up, but justifiably, Thomas Christ was a sicko. Taking out that nut job was doing the world a favor. He was making sure that not only was Vegas safe, but so was he.

Actually, come to think of it, Greyson Croft should be thanking him.

  Seriously.

He’d handled a big problem before it could get way out of hand. The man was obsessed with Emma Croft, and that would have just been…

  Awkward.

Now the man was dead and in his grave.

  That was to everyone’s benefit.

Jeffrey was tired of playing this game with the Crofts. He was well aware, thanks to Heath Spencer ignoring his order NOT to touch Emma Croft, that he’d actually buried him deeper.

  Croft had told him so.

Before Emma had even been hurt, Greyson had alluded to working another case, and that scared him shitless. There was dirt that didn’t need to come to light.

Including anything related to his missing wife.

Well, that was going to be…inconvenient, and he didn’t look forward to it.

Some things were best left buried.

This was one of those things.

Some questions should be left unanswered.

  Like this.

Now, Commissioner Raye was faced with that oncoming mess. Only, that wasn’t it. He had one more do-gooder cop trying to clean up his precinct.

  Well, that would NOT do.

  She had to be stopped.

Detective Poppy Wayne had every intention of sticking her nose into this war, and that was going to be dangerous.

  To him.

  To her.
