“Why you insolent brat, I’ll kill you!” Tenri snapped. “Your species will never come back to life.”

  Episode 71 (Part 3)

The unfeeling words had struck a nerve in the heart of one of the kindest women on the planet.

  [Harumi has entered SLAUGHTER COMBAT!]

Clyde took several steps away as he finally felt the anger inside Harumi shatter into utter rage.

Harumi became the goddess of blood and death.

She snarled—the transformation from her humanoid form to a giant glowing pink fox with nine tails happening nearly at the speed of light. And her power shook the cosmos with utter vengeance, righteous fury, and something that was clearly not magic.

  [Harumi’s Immense Unstoppable Pressure.]

  [Kitsune pressure.]

  [Kitsune aura.]

[Harumi’s pure rage has finally invoked the Super Nine tails form.]

[Harumi is immune to physical damage.]

  [Harumi’s vengeful fury.]

  [All dragon stats decreased!]

The sight was actually quite beautiful; the aura seeming to mimic fire, rose petals, and starlight. And all of that rage took the six elder dragons by surprise. The result Ming predicted had happened.

  “Holy shit,” Clyde said softly.

Abruptly, a spark of energy charged into a sun in front of Harumi’s muzzle, then a giant beam of white energy washed over one of the six elder dragons. The man. His screams lasted a second. Then ashes and bone fell to the ground.

Harumi’s glowing gold eyes turned to the other dragons. They tried to shift…

[Harumi’s Shift Cancellation. No transforming within range of Harumi.]

Another beam charged. While the remaining elder dragons rushed around with swords drawn, Tenri spawned bat-like wings and launched into the air, hellbent on escaping. Too bad she turned out to be Harumi’s target. The beam erupted, looking as if it was diamond turned to plasma, colliding with the surprised leader. To her credit, a shield appeared around the dragon leader in time.

[HYPER CRITICAL! WEAKNESS EXPLOITED! Tenri’s HP has dropped from 2.4M% to 1900%.]

[Tenri activated DRAGON GODDESS TIER SKILL: Soulless Head Emergency Instant Shift! This skill can ignore negation. Tenri’s HP has halved for using this skill.]

Harumi’s beam cooked the other elder dragons, except one who managed to run to the side. A huge mistake for the dragon to not take the quick death.

Clyde continued to keep his distance, serving as the real witness as Harumi pounced on the poor sap, ripping the dragon limb from limb. Purple flames lit left and right like a light show. Then she faced off against the other giant monster, Tenri.

[Tenri activated DRAGON Tier skill: Disarming Dragon Fire. This is an unblockable skill.]

The blast washed over Harumi until he saw nothing but blue flames.

[No effect. Harumi is unaffected by dragon magic.]

  [Harumi’s utter rage.]

  [Harumi’s bloodlust.]

“Get that shit out of here,” Clyde laughed then cheered, “Woo! Go Harumi!”

A giant fox shape leapt out of the magic, into the air, and charged something different.

  >>>>Harumi activated SUPREME KITSUNE GODDESS TIER SKILL: FOX FIRE. This is an unblockable, undodgeable, and unstoppable attack. This attack will instantly kill any dragon that comes into contact with it. The ultimate fox attack used by the Nine tails…<<<<

Tenri bowed as she died fucking horribly, burned to nothing by orange and white magical fire so powerful that even Clyde worried at what would’ve happened had he stayed too close to the battle. The heat still licked his face like a really hot bonfire.

“Foolish dragons,” Harumi said in a goddess chant. “Your war and hate crimes must be paid for in blood.”

[Battle completed. Victory! Your rewards will be added to the raid completion rewards.]

The giant fox aimed one tail at the mansion. For a second there, the young man thought she was going to fire with all of Team Stone inside. Instead, every dragon inside was pulled into the sky.

“So, your Disciple left you to fend for yourselves in the greatest time of need. And now you’ll die for following her to massacre thousands of innocents.”

Just like that, Harumi toasted them.

She shifted back to normal Nine tails form, her levels increased from gaining so much experience. Clyde kept his notifications on silent, but felt the experience increase as well. Holy fuck.

“The Disciple didn’t get too far,” Clyde said. “Leave her to me. You’ve used up too much energy.”

As if to prove his point, Harumi’s fox form flickered off, shifting her back to the base one-tail kitsune.

“I’m still coming with you,” Harumi said. “I will see this to the end.”

  Clyde nodded. “Let’s go.”

  The young man texted Tetra.

Clyde: Where’d she run off to.

Tetra: from your location, toward the city. She’s going to take to the skies before long and make a getaway. If we lose her now, there’s no telling when we’ll be able to locate her again.

Clyde: got it. Also, FOR HARUMI!

  Tetra: FOR HARUMI! *Smiling emoji*

“I can sense her,” Harumi suddenly said. “Can you feel the charging of dragon magic?”

“You’re right,” Clyde said, putting his phone away. “Let’s do this.”

  [Clyde activated Jump.]

He and Harumi managed to teleport right in front of a green-haired petite woman, wearing a hooded cloak, half a second from releasing her shifting magic. Instead, she ended up dodging Clyde’s roundhouse kick.

“And where do you think you’re going, Disciple?”

The woman flinched, eyes teary. “N—never mind me. I’m just p… passing by.”

The young man shook his head. “First of all, how stupid do you think we are? Second, I think it’s time to settle this. You lead the attack on Harumi’s family, killed them all. Now it’s time to pay.”

“The kitsune shouldn’t have betrayed us,” she said softly. “We turned to our goddess for the strength we needed to take vengeance for being wronged.” She looked up to them. “Just two of you… Okay, I can do this. If you know who I am, then why did you come here to die? Surely you know of my power, my strength.”

Harumi was about to lunge at the woman, but Clyde placed a hand in front of her.

“You’re my fiancée, Harumi,” he said. “Let me help, too.”

The fox girl reluctantly nodded, sighing. Her energy was still recharging. The power to take out six of the most powerful dragons in just one shot had to be quite the strain on her body.

“You’re marrying the Nine tailed fox?” the woman said, then sighed. “Today will be a sad day for me to end such a blossoming relationship. But, of course, if you walk away now, we can call it a draw. I’ll be on my way, you on yours. How about it?”

“I don’t think so,” Clyde said as he pulled in the power.

“I tried,” the Disciple said, unsheathing her sword. “But you’re the type to underestimate a dragon. And now you’re going to die along with your pride.”

“What an anti-climactic end to the Soulless family and the Disciple,” Clyde said. “Not that this is the end of things. Everyone and everything keeps warning me that the real challenge is your god. One that I can’t beat. But… I actually don’t want to fight her.” He shook his head, eyes glowing, letting the realization that he fought for Harumi and his child sink in. “You fucked with Harumi, Disciple. So you fucked with me.” His voice was a god chant. “Harumi, back me up.”

“You really think you stand a chance, do you?” the Disciple said as red and black aura surrounded her. The pressure of her power was surprisingly unbelievable.

Mythra, the Disciple of the Thousand Year Dragon.

  Level: ???

  Type: Dragon.

  Work under: N/A

  Special: ???

  Weakness: Dragon Slayer, ???.

  Resis
tances: +30% resistance to all physical and magic attacks. Unaffected by Negative Ki.

Secret: is uncomfortable in crowded places. Prefers not to be around a lot of people.

  [The Raid Boss has appeared!]

[You’ve entered a RAID BOSS FIGHT!]

  [Mythra’s Elder Dragon Pressure.]

  [You are Awakening…]

  [Awakened Stone Mode.]

  [Clyde’s Immense Unstoppable Pressure.]

“You are in the presence of the Thousand Year’s most loyal disciple,” Mythra said. “Show some respect.”

She waved her sword, which emitted enough black and red magic to cover Clyde entirely.

  [Clyde’s HP is already full.]

  “Uhmm. What?” Mythra said.

“You know,” Clyde said, “the problem with being at the top all the time is not knowing when someone will push you down.”

Clyde reappeared at her side. Upon contact with the woman, his finger emitted a spark of light.

[DEVASTATING! MASSIVE CRITICAL! Mythra’s HP has dropped from 5.1M% to 200%.]

The force of the magic, if it could be called that, propelled the cloaked woman dozens of meters, breaking the sound barrier ten times over, until she landed into a heap.

Harumi’s eyes were wide. Even she began to wonder just how Clyde had gotten… so strong.

Mythra groaned. “What… what’s going on?” She struggled to stand. “No one should be able to do this to me.”

Clyde placed a hand on her shoulder. “Let me ask you something. Why did you kill Harumi’s family? Because in my world, we present something called evidence before pursuing a case.” His god chant darkened. “From all that I have gathered, the words from the now-dead Soulless Head, Tetra, and yours, no one has presented any actual evidence that the kitsune wronged the dragons. However, nearly everyone seems to know about the dragons breaking the peace treaty.”

“Everything I do, it’s for our god,” Mythra said as she stood. Her eyes glowed. “I don’t know who you are, BUT I WON’T LET YOU GET IN MY WAY!”

Mythra’s transformation speed actually surprised Clyde a little. Before he knew it, the young man found himself facing a wannabe Shenron. The giant green Chinese dragon’s aura looked like fire and wings as it emitted around the creature. It had to be at least larger than the Empire State building.

Holy shit, the people are surely screaming Godzilla, the young man thought. Okay, so that joke would be lost here, but it still applied. This sighting would surely get reported on. Or maybe it was so late at night, they’d get lucky.

[Dragon Form Mythra, the Disciple of the Thousand Year Dragon.]

[Your party has entered a Raid Boss, phase 2.]

  [Mythra’s Super Pressure.]

“Not much of a raid boss,” Clyde said, “but I’m okay with this. I’m not a fan of getting hurt or my ass handed to me.”

“She’s so powerful,” Harumi said, although her words seemed to confirm the young man’s strength more than anything.

“I WILL DO MY GOD ONE HUGE FAVOR,” Mythra’s voice boomed through the air. The giant dragon turned to Harumi. “SACRIFICE.”

The inhaling told the young man everything.

[Mythra prepares a DRAGON GODDESS TIER SKILL: Thousand Year Imitation Fire! This is an unblockable attack. Kitsune defenses cannot withstand it.]

“This is what your pathetic kind felt as they were fried!” Mythra’s voice boomed, this time through their minds. She laughed. Then she gagged.

  [Clyde invoked his special attack.]

[Clyde activated GOD TIER SKILL: Godly Omen Crush.]

[God Tier skill: Godly Omen Crush. Does immense deity, almighty, holy, light, and purity damage. Chance to instantly kill some enemies. While this attack comes out as an enormous blast of energy, you may condense it into a single punch, adding colossal physical damage.]

[Dual cast initiated. Combined with Dragon Fist.]

[Dragon Breath, level 4. Unleash Ki-based dragon flames from your mouth or combine it with your fist for a Dragon Fist. Dragon Breath does Ki and fire damage which cannot be blocked by magic].

  Maybe a bit overkill…

He took note of the large hole his fist blew into the dragon’s throat. Wings keeping him hovering, Clyde saw the first signs of purple flames emerging. Yet, Mythra still had last words through telepathy.

“You’re… the Stone. Your power is heart-shaking, but not even this will be enough to defeat our god.” She chuckled. “Did you know that in her presence, her overwhelming power caused some of the Kitsune to go mad and kill themselves. Confusion…” She sighed. “The truth is… I’m not the original Disciple.” She chuckled. “I’m her successor. The original is long dead. It was her will for me to lead the attack against the kitsune. But I was… too scared so I hired assassins to go in my place. Some of them claimed that it was our god’s presence that finished off the kitsune. An obvious lie since our god disappeared many years ago… In my… dying thoughts, I’m actually glad this cult is dead. I just wanted to read my manga and be left alone.”

“A coward otaku in the very end, huh?” Clyde said, shaking his head. He turned to Harumi the second the purple flames blazed in the sky like fireworks. “We’ve already known the Thousand Year to be our real threat.” He chuckled. “If I couldn’t beat her servant than we’d probably be fucked.”

  “Clyde!”

Clyde and Harumi turned to see Tessa running toward them. He waved. When she caught her breath, she said, “Wait, where are the elder dragons?”

“Let’s just say they were consumed by something you don’t see every day and leave it at that,” Clyde said, chuckling. “Harumi’s a badass.”

  Harumi blushed.

Tessa gave him a puzzled look before understanding dawned on her face. “We were worried for nothing. It took some time, but we wiped out every cult member inside.”

“Good,” Clyde said. “Let’s get the fuck out of here. Using the power makes me hungry.”

  Tessa and Harumi smiled.

[Battle completed. Victory! Reward: EXP, $300,000,000. Wand of the Angel Songs: Item class: *Legendary. Ring of the Angel Songs: Item class: *Legendary. Gun of the Angel Songs: Item class: *Legendary.]

[Congratulations, you have reached level 236. Stats increased!]

[Someone of great power has noted the total vengeance of the Kitsune Clan.]

  Volume 14 Epilogue

  Northern Nation of Krubs…

  Night…

Chizuru no longer identified herself as the Crusader champion. Throughout the journey, she and her band of “misfits” decided to call themselves the Stone’s Hammers. The Order would surely have heard the whispers by now but it didn’t matter. They had the researcher at last.

Thankfully, Tear had arranged for a plane to meet them at a secret location. Succubus network agents took the researcher off their hands, locking him into a room, and stood guard. They even approved of their new team name.

“I’m sure Lord Clyde will be thrilled to hear it,” a succubus said. She gave a wink to one of Chizuru’s male companions, causing him to blush.

Chizuru would make sure to have on some good earplugs during bedtime. She did NOT want to hear that. The young woman entered her cabin, closing the door right before Mina could get in and locked it.

  “Onee-sama, come on, let’s cuddle.”

“Leave me alone, you stupid pervert,” Chizuru said. She stripped down to her panties and then snuggled into a warm luxurious blanket. Suiting for this billion-dollar plane.

She reached for her tablet. Hero-Sama was the first on the playlist, ahead of Loli Saga.

She couldn’t help but think of the Stone as that very hero. Sadly, in addition to the Crusader information, the young woman had Viper news that needed to get to his ears. Rumors of his deeds. And they didn’t add up to the evil villain she had in mind.

Until, of course, they got to the city he destroyed, the world he held hostage through death, and the possible sightings of the real Punis
hment Squad.

What had the busty blue-haired young woman gotten herself into? Well, no matter. She’d protect Clyde’s name and reputation with her life.

  Night…

  Lot City, Yaponiya…

  Clyde’s House…

After dinner, Clyde and the Team Stone members that lived in the giant house and Misaka, relaxed in the large living room, watching something random on TV. They’d see Selkie, the edge lord, and Myr Myr off in the morning.

Harumi’s head was on one shoulder, Ruri in his lap, craving her usual head pat spoiling. All of his fiancées surrounded him, of course.

Airi and Ming looked jealous. In fact, so did Amina, Kanako, and even Hinako.

The young man vowed to spend more time with each of them. He’d get to know the Stone Maidens better, afterward. Or maybe simultaneously. A little skinship went a long way.

He wasn’t sure why he thought so, but they may be a useful cheat to burst into a new realm of power. Maybe even power-level grind. Well, the beautiful women were the Stone’s Maidens, led by his favorite, Asu.

And of course Asu took the time to ruin a romantic scene by blurting out, “Pssh, my Master’s Cock is ten times bigger.”
