Warlock: A Fae's Vengeance: A Shawn Moore Novel 03 Page 14

by D. R. Rosier

Elissa stood in the center of the meadow, but there were hundreds of fae on the other side. We were outnumbered, and most likely outgunned. What I was counting on was the fact we’d take at least half of them down with us, and immortals tended to get nervous when their lives were on the line.

I walked out and joined her, she frowned when my mates followed me halfway, but didn’t say anything.

“So what exactly are we doing here?”

Elissa sneered, and her face was colder and haughtier than I recalled. It was a shame, as Krystal said, she was gorgeous. She had on a silver dress, as if she was going to some highbrow party, that caressed, clung, and flowed around her curves. She had stunningly shiny and beautiful ash blonde hair, stormy gray eyes, and a willowy graceful body.

She was somewhere between a B and C cup, and I knew from the past she had a sexy heart shaped ass. She wasn’t voluptuous by a long shot, but she was perfectly proportioned, and exotically sexy with an unearthly beauty. I smiled at how accurate that was, when I remembered Krystal’s explanation, she wasn’t from this Earth. It was too bad her attitude and the look on her face made her… ugly.

“It’s simple. You will surrender your sword, or I will start this battle by destroying the Nephilim in my hands.”

I frowned, “Will you let her go if I do?”

She sighed, “I will promise that I will not harm her.”

I almost rolled my eyes, all that meant was she’d get someone else to do it. There was no way I’d give her Krystal though. Could I attack fast enough to save Korrina?

Krystal whispered in my mind longingly, “Do it master, give me to her.”

I had no idea what she had planned, but I did… was, going to trust her with my life. I pulled off the ring and held it out.

  “Should I toss it over?”

Elissa narrowed her eyes, and yelled, “Alanna! Retrieve the weapon from the warlock, and bring it to me now.”

Alanna walked out, she had dark red hair, large brown eyes, and the same grace and alien beauty that Elissa did.

I almost laughed when I saw her eyes flicker to Elissa with contempt before she stepped forward and took the ring. She froze for a second and grunted.

  Elissa snarled, “What is this?”

Alanna shook it off, “The sword tried to make me kill, just about anyone, it was easy to master the impulse however, and just took me a moment. Isn’t that how the sword is supposed to work?”

I tried not to look surprised, Krystal was obviously playing weaker to get to Elissa, I just didn’t know why. Sure to kill her, but wouldn’t that just start a general war on both sides? I shook off my doubt, I had to trust her. Hopefully her plan was better than mine or Elissa’s.

I was still alive, so far so good.

Elissa nodded firmly, “Very good, bring it here.”

Alanna knew how to use her curves, and I couldn’t help but stare at her ass as she walked the ten feet to Elissa, and held out the ring.

Elissa took it, froze for a split second, and then shook her head. She ordered Alanna back to her position. Then the strangest thing happened. The ring started to glow white, turned into a sword, and then Elissa lifted her right leg, gripped the sword in both of her hands, and stabbed herself, running herself through the leg.

Elissa screamed, and everyone on both sides including me, froze and stared in shock.

  Chapter 24

Krystal held Elissa’s mind in an unbreakable grip, her master will be pleased.

“Alanna, return to your post,” she ordered, using Elissa as a puppet.

That wasn’t even half the plan however and she smiled with Elissa’s face in anticipation as she turned into a sword, and forced Elissa’s body to impale itself with her blade.

Elissa’s soul was severed, but she reached out with her angelic magic and captured it as she broke the bonds holding her own soul to the sword, and inserted herself into Elissa’s body, along with all of her power, as well as the power she’d stolen over the years, including the angelic power.

She’d been stuck in that damned sword for eons, she knew the magic bindings by heart, and bound Elissa’s soul into the sword, thus completing the planned swap. It wouldn’t do to take master’s most potent weapon away after all. And Elissa would be a perfect replacement. Maybe in fifty thousand years or so, she wouldn’t be such a bitch anymore.

She laughed and sent to Elissa, “Enjoy your stay, niece.”

Krystal felt guilty for hiding it, but she wasn’t a human soul like they’d all believed.

She was fae, and her plans weren’t quite done yet, she had a few more things to do.

She ripped the sword from her leg, her niece’s body now belonged to her. Her body glowed a bright white, and the wound closed as if it had never been. She looked up at the shocked look on master’s face, and winked at him, as she released Korrina from the soul trap.

She smiled at the very pissed of Nephilim, “Peace Korrina, your enemy I am not,” then she crushed the trap with her angelic strength, and unfurled her wings before all who were present.

She was something unheard of, something new, a hybrid between a fae, and an angel. Her wings were many shades of dark green, like the color of a forest, but they also glowed white. Korrina took a few uncertain steps backwards, not sure what to do. Krystal knew that Korrina would know that Elissa was no longer in control of this body, she’d counted on her reaction.

She turned to the fae, and said in a strong voice, “I claim this clan as my own, and shall lead you from this day forth.”

Alanna stepped forward uncertainly, “By what right do you make claim?”

She smiled, “By right of power, I am the strongest fae present. By right of blood, for I am Krystal, sister of Issa the betrayer, daughter of the matriarch, and aunt of your former mistress, Elissa.”

Alanna shook herself, and fell to one knee, the rest of the fae followed.

She said loudly, “This war is over, go back to your homes, speak to no one about what you have seen here until I give you leave. Alanna you stay, attend me.”

Alanna came over and asked, “Mistress?”

She smiled, “Relax Alanna. You will continue in your previous capacity, but you will also be my second in command. I will most likely spend all my time in the city. Do well, and I will reward you, try to betray me and you will regret it.”

Alanna looked a little confused, “The city?”

“We will talk again soon, but I don’t know if you can understand. I am fae, but I am also more. You will also make sure our people don’t spread what happened today, not yet. I will let you know when it is safe to do so.”

Alanna bowed, “It will be done.”

  “You have my leave.”

Alanna left, and Krystal turned around and looked at her master a little nervously.

She smiled and walked over to him, he didn’t move. She moved in and kissed him, and it was so much better than she’d ever thought possible. She’d missed a physical body for so long, and kissing master was… rapturous.

When she broke the kiss he looked at her in question.

She smiled, “Well, stealing this body solved a few problems. Your sword is back to the way it used to be originally, only it’s changed its name to Elissa. Be wary, you’ll have to fight her to bind her the first time you use her to kill, like you did for me the last time. Also, she can’t be trusted, at all, ever. Not like you trusted me master.”

  He asked, “How?”

She shrugged, “Much how I was put into the sword millennia ago master. I am fae, was fae, until my sister Issa betrayed me, and bound me into a sword. Elissa is… my niece. My angel power allowed me to break the bonds holding me to the sword, but I had nowhere to go until now. I didn’t know if this would work, but I’d hoped I’d have the opportunity to claim her body.”

She handed him the sword, which reluctantly became a ring around his finger.

She blushed, “Well master, there was also the fact that I needed a fae body, an
d you wanted to fuck this one, so it seemed like a really good choice all around. You still love me don’t you master?” she asked feeling a bit nervous.

Shawn smiled and caressed her face, “I do love you Krystal. But does this mean you have to stay here with the fae?”

She shook her head, “No master, I left Alanna in charge in my name. I’ll never leave you except for short periods when I must.”

Lilliana asked, “How can we trust you? You are fae.”

She looked at Lilliana, “How about a pact?”

Lilliana asked, “What did you have in mind?”

She said clearly, “That I will serve master in anything he asks, until one of us passes from this world.”

Lilliana raised an eyebrow, “A lifetime of service? With no restrictions? What do you want in return?”

She bit her lip, “I want his love, and to share his bed.”

Shawn frowned, “Isn’t that a bit much? Why don’t we go with the no harm one, and you can stay with me, in bed and out, for as long as you want, and follow orders or not if you want.”

She bit her lip, “It doesn’t matter to me, I am yours Shawn, and I always shall be until the day you pass from this world. I am fae, you know what those words mean. Pure unequivocal truth without room for interpretation. I love you.”

How could she do less? He loved her and cared for her when she was nothing but a damaged soul bound to a sword. She kissed him again, and moaned into his mouth when she felt the infernal magic rise up and bind her to her word. Now she was bound by the infernal, as well as the true spoken words of the fae.

She’d orgasmed with him many times in the past, but she couldn’t wait to give her body to him, and be ravaged by his desires. She shivered, and pasted her body against his. She supposed she might wait a little bit though, or most of the supernatural soldiers from all the supernatural races in Chicago would be witness. Not that she would care, but he would.

She also had more things to tell him, but it could wait. The truth was, his ancestors would have gone insane eventually, and the infernal magic made warlocks go insane over the centuries. But they should have had longer, it was Elissa that caused the insanity to speed up, a part of her sick games, but what he didn’t know yet, was that she could also slow it down. Nature was her sphere, and her fae magic was extremely powerful, much more than Elissa had been capable of, it was not just her angel magic that set her apart. She would heal and protect his mind over the years.

He still wouldn’t live forever of course, eventually either he or she would die from an enemy or accident, but at least he wouldn’t ever go insane, not as long as they both lived.

Her plans were almost complete, she just had a couple of more things to accomplish, but they could wait a little bit.

She broke the kiss reluctantly, “Oh, by the way. I almost forgot, I’d be pleased to create a treaty between all the races. I believe that’s unheard of in the fae world, but hopefully it will truly stabilize things?”

Katie and Dion looked shocked, but hopeful.

Karen drew her, and Shawn, into a three-way hug. She smiled shyly at Karen and kissed her cheek, she knew her as well as she did everyone else since she could read their minds. Karen already accepted her, and she didn’t doubt she could win the others over.

None of them really believed it, the peace and treaty part, but she knew it was true. Chicago would truly be at peace, and no sane enemy would want to set foot here anytime soon. Wait until she told master if she obeyed him, he pretty much had control of the fae clan. She didn’t think he’d abuse it, but the fae spies made the vampires look like amateurs, and he’d need the information they could provide.

  Chapter 25

I was still in shock at how things turned out, and it wasn’t really sinking in as we started back to Chicago. I’d had my plans, and Elissa had hers, but we’d both been out planned and outmaneuvered by Krystal. This time I had Krystal in my lap as we started out for the city, and she had a small triumphant and happy smile on her face as she snuggled into me. Krystal had been fae the whole time, which meant everything she ever told me was truth. She didn’t speak in riddles, or hedge either. She just came right out and said what she meant.

She was right, I couldn’t imagine anyone would want to fuck with or try and invade Chicago, not with every race having a treaty with every other race, including the fae. Not only that, but now there was a Nephilim and a hybrid fae-angel with no limits imposed on their power, which meant anyone attacking would have to be insane.

So it was bound to happen any moment now, but they’d die quickly.

Malina was cuddling with Korrina on the other seat, filling her in on what went on. In Korrina’s point of view, no time had passed since she was trapped yesterday afternoon.

It was a little uncomfortable with Elissa in the back of my mind, but she wasn’t nearly as close as Krystal and I had been, she was shoved all the way in the back, kept separate, and I had no intentions on closing that distance in any way. I would miss sharing my orgasms with Krystal though, and feeling her in my mind. It had been a bit awkward, and even wrong seeming at first, but the intimacy of sharing pleasure and feelings with her had grown on me quite quickly.

Suddenly, I felt her presence there, “Master, I’m part angel, I can be with you whenever you wish, or give you privacy.”

She started to kiss the side of my neck, and whispered, “I don’t want to wait anymore master, make love to me. Please, I want to love you like they do,” she said in a soft pleading voice that made me hard as a rock in seconds.

She reached down and opened my pants and fished me out. When she straddled me, I slid the bottom of the silky silver dress up above her thighs. Her body was so supple, and sexy, and the exotic beauty of her slightly alien face looking down on me with love and devotion made my cock twitch as I looked into her stormy gray eyes.

She sunk down slowly, and little mewling gasps of pleasure escaped her soft pouty lips as she stretched tightly around my girth, and took me into her tight wet sex. I could feel the pain of it in my own mind, along with the intense pleasure as she shared it with me. It was weird at first, but I was used to sharing with Krystal, and I got used to the sensation as it mixed with the intense pleasure my cock felt in her tight wet sheath.

I assumed she was feeling that too.

She slowly rode me all the way home. She looked like a goddess as we both worshipped each other’s bodies in front of the rest of my, our, mates. They even joined in a little, with touches and random caresses, but also left us to our own moment, as I made love with a fae that had fallen in love with me for the first time.

I can’t even imagine how differently my life would have gone, if I hadn’t reached out to Krystal that day and shared my orgasm, if I hadn’t felt compassion for her, followed by affection, and finally love.

She was so tight, and I lost count of the amount of times I came up inside of her, and how many times she flooded around my hard length, and soaked my balls and thighs. I didn’t even have to pull from Malina, whether it was her fae or angelic power, I didn’t believe I could go down while I was inside of her.

She was an amazingly passionate and gentle lover as she rode me from above, and never broke eye contact with me, as we intimately shared our bodies and minds.

I don’t know what I did to deserve all I had. But I knew I’d do anything for the women in my life. I loved them, and they loved me. When it came down to it, that was what mattered the most. We would rebuild the house, and I would continue to train, learn magic, and eventually create my own spells.

But it was the women around me that made it all worthwhile. I may have been damned, but I was certainly blessed as well…

  Prologue

It was time to finish this, just a couple of more tasks, and she’d never leave her master’s side again. The last few days in the small house had been amazing, and she loved all her sister mates, wives, whatever they wanted to call it.

She knew he wanted her to call him S
hawn instead of master, but she was devoted to him, and trusted him with everything she was. He had saved her, woken her up, and trusted her when it counted the most. She was his, body and soul. Nothing would change that until the day he breathed his last. Which would be in several millennia if she had any influence on it.

Krystal picked up the sword, it had a slight white glow, but the blade was green, just like her wings. It had similar enchantments to the ones on master’s sword, but of course it had no soul. It also had similarities to an angel’s sword, but not quite that either. It was unique, much like herself, and all her own.

She let out her wings, and glowed a bright white, and appeared in the fae community. Everyone kept their eyes off of her, and bowed as she passed. She went into Elissa’s building and started to collect all the male slaves, there were twelve of them, all of them young, handsome, and built.

  Alanna came in, “Mistress?”

She smiled gently, “Peace Alanna, it is good to see you. I’ve come to collect Elissa’s old slaves. Also, in twelve hours you may lift the ban and inform other clans that Elissa no longer rules. Until then abide by the restriction.”

Alanna nodded, “It shall be as you say.”

She added, “I will keep in touch, feel free to contact me by spell however, if you run across anything alarming or time sensitive. You have no need to fear me short of plans of betrayal. Understood?”

  Alanna replied, “Understood.”

She nodded once in satisfaction, and then surrounded the humans with her wings, and disappeared in a flash of light.

She walked toward the house and knocked.

  Katie answered the door, “Krystal?”

She smiled, “I have a gift, twelve men proficient in sex, who will treat your unmated pack mates like glass. Just treat them kindly. It had been my intention to free them, but their minds are gone, and they could never go back to their old lives. They’ve been severely conditioned, and changed with magic. Elissa was a real bitch.”

Katie shook her head, “That’s not something I’m offered every day. Why would I want them?”
