  “Daichi!” shrieks a shocked Aria.

With amazing swordsmanship, Akira ends this fiasco in a short time, with only three bots standing. Akira quickly dashes and spins, slicing the head of all three Sovis bots in just a second, before landing gracefully back on his feet, watching the headless Sovis bots drop to the ground before him. With a sigh of relief, Akira turns towards his mother. He signals his mother to get into action. Aria nods, while wiping away her tears, and drives off. Akira then turns to his audience, who are all staring at him, jaw-dropped by his performance.

“Please find safety,” says Akira shortly, before running off elsewhere.

“Wait! Where are you off to?! I want your phone number!” calls out a young woman.

“That kid is going to fucking go places!” shouts a man.

  [Grand Atlas Coliseum]

Meanwhile, at the center of the Coliseum, where Daichi and Michelle are going at it, repeatedly clashing their blades against each other with spectacular speed. A few soldiers try to intervene and attack Michelle from behind, but Michelle quickly pushes Daichi away with her hand, before turning around and beginning to slash at the soldiers, destroying their armor, causing all of them to crash to the ground, huge dents in their armor and electricity flying out of them.

“Argh…! She’s fast!” groans one soldier in agony.

“Sir Daichi… be careful!” shouts another soldier, trying to raise himself.

Michelle throws a contemptuous look at the soldiers, before turning her attention to Daichi, who appeared shell-shocked at what Michelle did just a moment ago.

“What was your motive here today? What is the meaning of all this?! Did you believe Atlas was too corrupt and decided to take matters into your own hands?” asks a curious Daichi.

“We just want to make Atlas our own now,” answers Michelle with a smirk.

“Well, that’s not going to happen! Your plan is going to fail! You’ll pay for your actions!” Daichi warns.

Michelle smirks as Daichi charges at her, and they both get back to clashing their blades once more.

  [Grand Atlas Coliseum/ ???]

In another part of the town, Victoria and the Veox robots are faring well against a tall tentacled robot with just one tentacle left, flailing around.

“It’s time I end this!” shouts Victoria.

She flies forward towards the tall robot, both Veox robots trailing behind. Within seconds, both Veox robots speed up and charge past Victoria, slicing off its arms and the remaining tentacle. They both land behind the now armless robot, and Victoria gives the finishing touches, swinging her beam sword frantically at the robot, before stopping and forcefully kicking it in the chest. Her attack causes the robot to be destroyed into pieces. As the remnants of the robot scatter to the ground, the Veox robots transform back into Verox pistols and quickly fly back to Victoria’s outstretched hand. Victoria wastes no time in flying towards the door like a bolt of lightning. She decides to shoot the huge door open before performing kicking her way in.

[Grand Atlas Coliseum / 100th Floor]

Victoria lands and makes her way to the final floor. She looks around the hallway and is shocked to find several guards’ bodies laid out on the ground. The sight of the bodies infuriates Victoria. Just as she breaks into a run, Victoria stops again at the sight of a gold door to her left. Victoria kicks the door open and heads inside.

[Grand Atlas Coliseum / King Daimus’s Office]

Victoria now finds herself inside the King’s room. She examines the room, finding the balcony door open and wreckage strewn everywhere. As she walks forward, she finds the lifeless body of King Daimus. About to walk over to King Daimus, Victoria is surprised to find an open door to her left, leading into darkness.

“What is this?” wonders a curious Victoria.

[Dynasty of Spheres H.Q / Monitor Room]

Stacey, along with many of the other operators, gazes at the map of the Atlas Coliseum in utter shock. They have spotted a large threat signal on the position where Victoria is located, facing the secret door.

“My god! I’ve never seen a reading of this threat so huge!” gasps a shocked Stacey.

“Tell me about it” says a shocked female operator.

“Hey Stacey! I just found a door that looks very suspicious! Do you have any idea what it is?” Victoria’s voice is heard over the room’s speakers.

“The enemy has discovered the very energy source that runs Atlas,” answers a wide-eyed Stacey. “Everyone! Put the city on Code-Black!”

“Code Black?!” repeats a shocked male operator.

“This is a threat to the nation! Judging from how these terrorists have already found the energy source of Atlas… this could result in a total disaster should they disrupt that energy!” reasons Stacey.

“How horrible…” says Branch, walking back into the room, startling Stacey.

“Branch!” says Stacey, watching Branch walk towards her, his eyes on the main monitor.

“Cosmos… and Galaxus… are also on Code Black,” informs Branch.

“Damn… What the fuck is going on today?” shouts Stacey, frustrated.

  [Grand Atlas Coliseum / ???]

Victoria walks into the mysterious room, and as she heads deeper, she feels a sense of utter fear engulf her.

But soon enough, she stops, bug-eyed, to find a massive ball of electrical purple energy enclosed in a glass ball.

“This… this is the energy that runs Atlas… Atlas Energy!” whispers Victoria, gazing at the massive ball.

The sudden sound of Eric’s laughter startles Victoria. The lights come on by themselves, revealing what appears to be a massive laboratory with no ground beneath. There is only a walkway leading to Atlas Energy. Victoria finds Eric facing the Atlas Energy, laughing hysterically.

“I’ve found it! At last! I’ve finally found it!” shouts Eric, before breaking into victorious laughter again.

“Who the fuck are you people?!” shouts Victoria, quickly raising her Verox pistol and shooting Eric in the back of his head…

However, a mysterious purple barrier shields Eric, causing the bullet to ricochet to the steel wall.

“What!” exclaims a shocked Victoria, lowering her gun.

Eric finally turns around to face Victoria. Victoria glares at him in silence, her face screwed up in anger.

“You can’t save this land now,” Eric smirks. As soon those words leave his mouth, the room they are in begins to rattle hard, shocking Victoria.

  [Grand Atlas Coliseum]

Hearing rumbling noises, Daichi and Michelle stop fighting to look down at the Coliseum.

“Ah… he’s finally done it!” says a surprised Michelle.

  “Done what?” questions Daichi.

“I believe it’s time we end this fight here. Time to take this place down… for good,” replies Michelle, turning back to Daichi, fury on his face.

[Grand Atlas Coliseum / 50th Floor]

Saul and Drozo both have bloodied faces. Saul is kneeling on one knee, exhausted, and Drozo is clutching his arm, also tired out. Both of them are bewildered as the room begins to shake hard.

“I believe… the time has come to put an end all of this!” exhales an exhausted Drozo.

“What the fuck are you talking about?!” groans Saul. “Your ass… is not going anywhere!”

Suddenly, Drozo and Michelle both vanish in a mist, shocking both Daichi and Saul.

[Grand Atlas Coliseum / Atlas Energy Lab]

Victoria looks on in horror as Drozo and Michelle appear beside Eric. The rattling takes a turn for the worse. The many wires keeping the Atlas Energy together begins to disintegrate, scaring Victoria. The lights from above begin falling, as do the many large equipment in the massive laboratory. Eric continues laughing like a maniac. Victoria suddenly sees all three of them starting to float off the ground.

“What in god’s name!” screams a now petrified Victoria.

She begins firing a few more shots at them,
but again, the mysterious purple barrier protects all three, causing the bullets to ricochet off in all directions.

  [Atlas City]

Outside, the skies begin to turn a dark purple quickly, and the ground underneath people’s feet begins to tremble. A few buildings even begin to collapse—the situation is not looking good at all. Several people run for their lives, hurrying away from the collapsing buildings and even vacating the buildings that looked shaky.

“Just what in blazes is going on here?!” shouts a female Dynasty soldier, gazing at the destruction all around her.

“This is not good! It looks like the end of the world is nearing!” yells another male Dynasty Soldier.

“C’mon, we have to get these people to safety now!” calls another male soldier, swooping down to assist the people.

Many Dynasty soldiers do their best to assist those who have fallen and in need. They also guide people to safe locations away from the chaos.

The rattling refuses to stop, even reaching the Dynasty headquarters. …

[Dynasty of Spheres H.Q. / Monitor Room]

Everyone looks on in horror as the beautiful land of Atlas disintegrates around them. Some of the operators look at Stacey, who, accompanied by Branch, stares silently at the main monitor. The room suddenly starts trembling lightly. Stacey turns to Branch, a serious expression on her face.

“Branch… we have to initiate ‘Plan U’,” urges Stacey.

“I approve of the plan. Execute it immediately,” replies an angry Branch.

“Calamita Team… we are going to initiate Plan U!” announces Stacey.

  [Grand Atlas Coliseum]

Daichi flies a weakened Saul out of the building, but they are both exhausted. They soon end up falling hard in the center of the coliseum, out of energy.

“Why… is the sky so dark right now…?” asks Saul.

  “I don’t even know what’s going on anymore…” replies Daichi. “C’mon Saul… get up…!”

They struggle to get back up Moments after they are back on their feet, they hear a huge explosion. Looking up, their eyes widen in fear at what they witness.

  [Atlas City]

Luke, Tatyana, and Akira end up on top of separate buildings, all looking at something that shocks them to no end. From afar, where the massive coliseum is held, they witness a gigantic purple ball of electrical energy floating upwards towards the dark purple sky, surrounded by bolts of lightning.

“What the hell…?” yells a shocked Luke.

“How in the world did the day take a turn like this…?” wonders Tatyana, shaking her head in disbelief.

“Father…!” shouts Akira, looking on in worry.

  [Grand Atlas Coliseum]

Victoria is still inside the crumbling laboratory, her head raised high and eyes glued to the Atlas Energy rising high into the sky with the three terrorists’ teams.

“If they use that to destroy it! This land… it’s doomed!” says Victoria fearfully.

“I hope you can hear me, earthlings of this land!” shouts Eric. Surprisingly, everyone hears Eric’s voice, and they fall silent, hearing thunder rumbling above.

Eric has a black book in his hand. He opens the book and gazes at it, before looking down at the city with an evil smile on his face, his right hand raised.

  “Now strike Zeus!” commands Eric.

[Dynasty of Spheres H.Q./ Monitor Room]

“Begin Operation U NOW!” shouts Branch.

Stacey heads up the stairs to the top of the room, heading for a desk with a large black button, the white letter ‘U’ on it. Stacey looks at it in horror for a second, then closes her eyes and smashes her hand on the button.

Suddenly, everyone in the room, everyone in the land of Atlas, and everyone in the Calamita Teams begins to glow white. Seconds after, they all vanish into thin air. The people of Atlas have vanished, and it isn’t long after that that a massive purple lightning bolt strikes down at the Coliseum, creating a white light in the process. Just then, a massive purple barrier encircles the land of Atlas in seconds. All that you could see over the land of Atlas is a purple fog surrounding this land, the barrier holding it in place.

How did such a beautiful, sunny day result in the destruction of such a massive land, that too at the hands of a mere three mysterious people?

  Chapter End

  Chapter 6

  Apocalypse

Into the eyes who have vanished, the last seconds before Atlas was sent into destruction, could see nothing but a blank of white…

Many thoughts run, but the #1 question is: Am I dead?

Such a bright light can put fear and curiosity into one. Is this all that they’ll see forever? Is there more to this?...

The eyes that see white…somehow, they see more than just that…the white light quickly dims back to the point they see a black ceiling, with many white lights, as if they were now in space.

The eyes could also see quite a large, lovely forest hill, and even farther from this forest hill, is a city, a city that looked nearly identical to the original, Atlas City…

On this large forest hill, Luke, Tatyana, and Akira are together lying side by side, unconscious. A slight wind blows through their body, before Tatyana’s eyes suddenly open…

Tatyana quickly sits up and looks around, finding herself in a forest. She then observes a city far from this hill she’s on and finally looks to her left and right, to find Luke and Akira lying next to her unconscious. Seconds after, Luke suddenly springs his upper body up, and then Akira moments after. They all sat up looking lost and dazed at the surroundings before them.

Just then, the 3 of them hear a commotion from afar. They slowly turn their heads to the right and were all surprised to find a crowd of people all over. They were all hugging their loved ones, kissing their loved ones, all the signs to show that everyone was ok.

  “…I guess…we aren’t dead…” says Luke.

“…! I have to call my sisters…!” says Tatyana, springing back up to her feet and pulling out her cell phone. Akira and Luke were also surprised, getting back to their feet and doing the same.

“…Hello? Shyla! Where are you guys?! Is everyone ok?!” says a worried Tatyana.

“Yes, we’re fine Tatyana…it’s weird. I remember seeing…a white light…and now we’re back home.” Replies Shyla through Tatyana’s phone, to which Tatyana was shocked by learning.

“Back at the house you say?” says a surprised Luke.

“Yeah, I mean the sky looks like we’re in space or something, but everything looks normal…it’s like we never left or something…!” says Parker through Luke’s phone.

“Mother, did you happen to find dad with you inside the house by any chance?” Akira questioned.

  “…No…he isn’t here…Oh, I hope he’s ok…” says a worried Aria.

“Don’t worry mom. Just know that we’re fine now. I’m sure father’s ok. I’ll find him.” Akira replies.

“DAMMIT!” shouts a man. Akira, Luke, and Tatyana darted their eyes to a man that appeared very angry behind a large crowd of people that had their attention on something. The 3 of them hung up their call and headed towards the scene.

As the 3 got closer, they gently moved through the saddened crowd of people, and when they got to the front, they were all shocked to find a large batch of deceased bodies lying on the soft grass. It was very gruesome to watch. Some had bodies that were armless, legless, and even worse. Tatyana even came to tears to find even children amongst those slaughtered. Luke and Akira could do nothing but look on with saddened anger.

“Fuck man…! Who could’ve done this?!” says a man before beginning to cry.

“Why did this happen? Was it those aliens?” says a woman.

“We didn’t even see any! It was those mass-produced robots! They started it! I’m hearing that terrorists were able to hack into them, which caused them to go crazy like that…!” replies a man.

“What a hell of a scene we all have witnessed…
 says a loud, deep voice.

Everyone turns around and was shocked to find Stacey walking along with Branch Nicoson. They both had serious looks on their faces.

“I know you’re all wondering…where the hell are we? I’ll tell you people here before I report this to the news: This area is something that was planned since the beginning of Atlas: This is, Underground Atlas.” Explains Branch.

“You’re telling me this is the entire land of Atlas, only underground?” says a surprised man.

“Yes.” Replies Branch. “This was set in stone, shall the land of Atlas ever fall to unavoidable destruction, this land here, underground, would be our second home.”

“We implanted a teleportation device into all the devices you all carry. Devices such as your smartphones, watches, and even your own houses, to be sent here shall the destruction of Atlas was certain to happen.” Explains Stacey.

“Every device…and even the houses had a device that would teleport here?” says a woman.

“Indeed. That’s why Atlas City, which is stationed not too far from us, looks identical to the original up above.” Replies Stacey. “The only difference being here now, is that we will no longer be seeing the clear blue sky and sun, but will see the display of nightly stars, but with no moon.

“Is this our fate…? To be here…? Forever…?” says a saddened elderly man.

“Do not worry much. We have the technology to restore our original Atlas whole, but it is confirmed that whoever did this, has taken control over the original Atlas.

  “Taken control…?” thought Akira.

“We are now on a mission to take it back to begin rebuilding Atlas. We will not stand and wait any longer. We, the people of this strong nation can stand tall again and fight back even harder than we were pushed down! If anyone, wants to join the Dynasty Army, they’re free to do so. We are planning on recruiting 1 million soldiers for this important mission. That is all. Please return to your homes, and for the bodies that you all have seen, will be placed in a proper burial…” explains Branch, before he and Stacey turn around to walk away.
