Next Morning Bryan was looking better. He was playing. David stayed home. He couldn’t leave Emily and Bryan alone at home. David was looking at his watch frequently. He was waiting for Rudra’s call. He supposed to call but didn’t call yet. David called him but it was ringing. No one picked up. Alivia called Emily she asked for permission to bring Father Peterson with her. Emily told her that she was really thankful to Alivia for doing all these & she had no objection.
At lunch Bryan looked at David and asked him that why he was looking at the watch since morning. David told him that he had an urgent call to attend, that’s why he was waiting. Bryan smiled. After finishing his lunch, Bryan looked at his dad and told him-
“Mr Rudra will not call you ever again. Don’t wait for him dad”
David had no clue why Bryan told that.
At evening David called Rudra again. He talked over phone and sat on the couch with shock. Emily asked him – “What happened?”
David: Rudra was found dead. Hanging by his tie from a tree in front of his apartment.
CLING CLONG!! Doorbell broke the silence between Emily and David. Emily opened the door. It was Alivia along with Father Peterson and Sushila. Alivia hugged Emily & told her to be strong. Father Peterson felt some existence of negative spirit. He asked David to call Bryan. Bayan had no idea so he came out of the room normally hearing the doorbell but as soon as he saw Father. He tried to run away inside his room but David had him. He stopped him and tried to bring him close to Father Peterson. Bryan tried to hold him and David was surprised to see his power. Alivia and Sushila also helped to hold him.
S C R E A M ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
It was extreme sharp.. Everyone fell on the ground. They were covering their ears with both hand but it was ripping inside. Intolerable. Father Peterson somehow crawled towards Bryan. He was bleeding from ears. He put holy water inside his open mouth and covered his mouth. Bryan became senseless again.
Sushila was praying to goddess Kali. Everyone was scared. Father told David to tie Bryan on the chair. He had to perform exorcism right now. David never believed in such but what he saw he also could not define with any of his senses.
Father started the exorcism process. He splashed Bryan with holy water in the name of god and Holy Spirit. Bryan came back to his senses. He started to cry.
Father: Let Bryan go
Bryan: Help me mom. Amy is hurting me.
Father: Amy. Bryan is your brother. Let go Amy
Father splashed more holy water.
Bryan [with voice of Amy]: Dad I miss you
David came close. Hold Bryan’s hand and replied that he missed her too. But she must let Bryan go.
Father: Amy – Let go. Don’t hurt Bryan
Bryan [With voice of Amy] : Bryan also hurt me .
Father: Bryan loved you Amy.
Bryan [With voice of Amy] : Yes he loved me but still he did hurt me.
Father: When did he hurt you Amy?
Bryan: I never hurt you Amy. I remember nothing. Please let me go.
Emily asked David to move and she sat in front of Bryan. She touched his hand and asked him. “Bryan when did you hurt Amy? “
Bryan: No I did not
Emily: No matter what you did we always love you Bryan.
Bryan: I can’t remember. Help me. Mom
Bryan cried with pain. Emily again asked him strongly “ When did you heart Amy?”
Bryan: It was me. Who asked for a sister? So you brought Amy. But
Emily: But what?
Bryan: But you loved her more. Dad and you started to love her more.
Emily: No Bryan. We loved both of you. We still love both of you.
Bryan [with voice of Amy]: Bryan wanted to push me away from you but now he can’t get rid of me. I will be with him for ever.
Emily: Bryan. Tell me what you did. TELL ME BRYAN [with a loud and firm voice]
Bryan : That day when we were playing near river. I threw my flying dish but that idiot Amy could not catch it. I was angry. I thought how could you love her more, who couldn’t even catch a flying dish. I send Amy forcefully to bring back the flying dish.
But she denied to go close to river. She told me she would tell you that I forced her. I was angry and hit her with a rock.
David fell on his knees like something hit him hard. Emily was stunned.
Bryan: I am sorry Amy. I loved you.
Bryan [with voice of Amy]: You hurt me Bryan. You took them from me forever. But now u can’t get rid of me. This way I can be with my mom dad always.
Emily kissed on Bryans forehead. Tears were rolling from her eyes. She told to Amy that Amy was always with her and David. Amy was in their memory. “Loved & pampered”. They would love Amy forever.
Bryan [With voice of Amy]: I miss you. I love you.
David [Hugged Bryan]: I love you baby. I love you always. My Amy will never hurt her brother. This way you are hurting yourself too baby. Let Bryan go. Now he remembered and admitted the truth. You are with us and will be with us forever. We love you.
THREE WEEKS LATER
Bryan just got released from Nursing home. His vocal cord was badly injured and would take year to recover. David wanted to go back to Dallas but Emily stopped him. She now wanted to stay in this city as long as possible. Emily never felt so secure. This city gave her life back. May be it had less high risers buildings but people like Sushila and Alivia make it Richer than the Richest.
