  “Never ever is a very long time,” Roxanne murmured from the confines of his chest.

  “Exactly,” he said, in a satisfied tone. “Do you think your aunt would mind very much if we went back to bed and made passionate love for the rest of the day?”

  “I think she would insist I satisfy your every whim and fancy, milord,” Roxanne whispered. “After all, it isn’t every day a woman sees her husband rescued from pirates.”

  “Chinese pirates, no less,” he said with a laugh before smothering her with passionate and arousing kisses.
