Breakaways Page 12

“Thanks.” Evan dug into his jeans pocket and pulled out a small foil strip. “Might do it now, before take off.”

“Good plan.” Olivia squeezed his knee. “And you can take another when we refuel if you need to.”

“Oh, I’ll need to.” He popped a tablet from the packet then knocked it back with a gulp of water. He let out a tense sigh.

Harry took a seat at the table, next to Banna, who was holding a coloring book and some pencils.

“It will be fine, Evan,” Olivia said. “You’ll see.”

“It’s not just the flight. It’s being back there. I hated leaving my mother to go to Melbourne. I tortured myself over it.”

“But you couldn’t have stayed forever. You were an adult, and your father had ranch hands to help him.” Olivia paused. “And she could have left him.”

“Yeah, I know. We talked about that, but she wanted to stay, she believed in her vows very strongly. For better or for worse, or in his case much worse. It’ll be strange to be back at the property without either of them.”

“And we’ll fill it up with love and laughter and the sound of happy children.” She kissed his cheek.

“Those old walls need some of that.” He stopped talking as the captain spoke over the tannoy.

“Good morning, ladies, gentlemen, and boys and girls. We’re going to get straight out of here to make our take-off slot. So sit back, enjoy the flight, and I’ll speak to you again in Dubai. We’re not expecting any bad weather today, so it should be a pleasant trip.”

“Thank goodness for that,” Evan said, gripping the armrests, his knuckles paling.

“Hey.” Olivia covered his hand with hers. “Try and relax.”

He kind of smiled, but it turned into a grimace as the Lear began to taxi. “I’ll try.”

“Are we in the air yet?” Amal asked, pressing his nose to the window.

“What do you think?” Raul laughed.

“We are high. We came up steps.”

“But we are going to go much higher.” Raul ruffled his hair. “You wait, soon you’ll be in the clouds.”

“I can’t wait.” Darius bobbed up and down on his seat. “I want to be in the clouds.”

  Banna looked across at Olivia.

  “You okay?” Olivia asked.

She nodded, smiled, and relaxed into her chair. Today she had on black leggings, a pale lilac t-shirt with a small sequined ice-cream cone embroidered on the front, and red sneakers. She’d put on a bit of weight since Olivia had met her and wasn’t so waif-like. Each day she seemed healthier, too, her skin glowing and her hair shiny. Olivia didn’t think she’d ever seen such a pretty little girl.

Soon they were airborne. She held Evan’s hand until she was sure he was asleep, then adjusted the blanket she’d placed on his knees and accepted a glass of orange juice from Harry. He handed her a croissant, too, which she happily nibbled.

It was as if Amal had been glued to the window. He seemed unable to stop staring out at the fluffy white clouds and the glistening ocean below. He didn’t speak and was completely entranced. Raul, seated next to him, put his head back and closed his eyes. Soon he was dozing, his breaths steady and his chin dipped.

Darius was more interested in watching a Disney movie on a small screen, which had slid up from the armrest in his chair, and eating a bunch of grapes. Mason had left him to it and sat next to Lucas to watch a movie himself. Lucas, like Raul, was sleeping.

“Can I watch a movie, Harry?” Banna asked, then popped a cherry tomato from the salmon salad she was eating into her mouth.

“Sure you can, what do you wanna watch?”

“I don’t know.” She shrugged. “We watched Snow White with Tina, but I didn’t like the scary mirror. I don’t really know any other movies.”

“The mirror isn’t real, just a silly made-up thing. Like most movies, it’s all come from someone’s imagination.” Harry slid her screen up and angled it toward her. He tapped the front to bring it to life, then, “How about this one, Frozen, I hear it’s very good.”

“Have you seen it?” She studied his face, as though keen to get a good recommendation.

“No, I can’t say I have, but I don’t think there are any scary mirrors in it. Mmm, let’s see, how about The Fast and the Furious?”

“Er, I don’t think so.” Olivia leaned over and laughed quietly. “Frozen is a much better idea.”

“Have you seen it?” Banna asked, stretching around Harry to speak to Olivia.

“Yes,” Olivia said, “I took my niece to see it, I think you’ll love it.”

Banna grinned. “Okay, I’ll watch that.” She settled back.

“You need to put these in.” Harry handed her some earphones. “Right in, and then this is the volume. Slide your finger like this on the screen.”

  “Oh, it’s too loud.”

“Turn it down then.” Harry pointed at the volume.

Carefully, Banna positioned the icon to the halfway point.

  “Better?” he asked.

“Much.” She smiled and reached for her salad again. “Thank you. I will watch this now. And when it’s finished will we be there, yes?”

“You’ll have time to watch a few movies, it’s a long way,” Harry said. He glanced up at Olivia. “Where are you going?”

“The restroom,” she answered quietly as she eased past Evan.

Everyone was settled, and she didn’t want to disturb them. The longer they slept or watched their screens, the quicker the hours would pass.

  “You feelin’ okay?” Harry asked.

“Yes, fine. It’s only when I first get up in the morning. I hope it stays like that.”

“Yeah, me, too.” His gaze lingered on her belly as she straightened, almost as if seeing through her clothing and skin to their tiny child nestled safely inside. He smiled, caught her hand, and drew her knuckles to his mouth. “You, or the baby, need anything, you’ve only got to ask, you know that, right?”

“Yes, Harry. I do, thank you.” She stroked over his hair. “And right now, I need to pee.”

He grinned and released her. “Go on then.”

Olivia adored the restroom on the Lear. It was so big and luxurious compared to commercial airlines. The mirrors made it feel even bigger, and it smelled of calming aromatherapy oils.

After she’d freshened up, listening to the whirring of the engines, she opened the door. Harry was standing there, blocking her exit, the way he had been before when they’d been on his plane.

“Déjà vu,” she said, admiring the way his gray Armani polo stretched over his pecs. She could make out his nipples through the material.

He smiled, one of his lovely sexy, seductive smiles, which allowed him to get away with numerous things he really shouldn’t be able to. “Déjà vu, to this point,” he said, backing her into the restroom again. “Now it changes.”

“Harry?” she said, watching him lock the door. “What are you doing?”

“I told you joining the Mile High Club with you was on my to-do list.” He wrapped his arms around her and dragged her close. “And it’s time to tick it off.”

She giggled and rested her hands on his shoulders. Beneath his clothing his muscles were thick and solid, and his body heat radiated onto her palms. “Are you now?”

“Yeah, and in spectacular style.” He caught her mouth in a deep, sexy kiss. His tongue probed in and danced with hers.

She leaned into him, loving the way he held her as if he’d never let her go, and how small she felt in his thick arms.

He pushed a stack of neatly folded white towels to one side, then lifted her onto the cool surface next to the sink.

“Harry,” she murmured as he slotted between her legs and kissed over her jawline. “We shouldn’t, not in here.”

“Mmm, you taste so sweet,” he said.

She smiled and fluttered her eyes closed, enjoying the sensation of his stubble gently grazing her skin. “But really…with everyone out there?”
/>   “They’re all sleeping or staring at a screen. No one will miss us for five minutes or hear anything over the engine.”

  “It’s not that loud.”

  “Loud enough.”

  “But…”

He captured her mouth in another kiss.

All reasons why they shouldn’t slipped from her mind. Harry was so damn sexy and persuasive.

He ran his hands to her breasts, cupping them over her t-shirt.

She moaned; she was so sensitive there, her flesh heavy and delicate, and her nipples tingling.

He must have sensed this because he was gentle, even though she knew he liked to release his wild passion.

She locked her legs around his waist, aware of her short skirt hitching upward and tightening on her thighs.

“Ah, yeah,” he said, running his hand to her ass and tugging her to the edge of the counter so her panties pressed against the wedge of flesh in his jeans. “You’ve got me so hard, so quick. Must be the altitude.”

“Going up, gets you up, huh?” She smiled.

“Something like that.” He grinned and slid his hand between her legs. In an instant he’d tugged her panties to one side and was stroking her. “You’re wet for me, Liv.”

“What do you expect when you kiss me like that?” She squirmed, wanting more of his touch.

“I want to be inside you.” He slipped two fingers into her entrance and caught her clit with the pad of his thumb.

  “Oh…yes, I want that.”

  “I won’t hurt the baby.”

“I know you won’t.” She tipped her head backward and groaned as he slid higher and upped the pressure on her clit.

The plane jostled over a small pocket of turbulence. She clung tighter to him.

“Ah, yeah, this is where I want to be.” With his free hand, he undid his zipper and shoved at his jeans.

She kissed his neck, behind his ear, and reached down to help him free his cock.

When she wrapped her hand around his shaft, he groaned. “Liv.”

“Harry.” She massaged his hot flesh.

“We should do it, we should join this club.” He was a little breathless now.

“In a minute.” She was enjoying the feel of his cock reaching full hardness as she stroked and caressed him. It was hot, the shiny rim of his glans flared, and his slit deep.

“Oh, God,” he groaned. “That’ll drain my stamina.”

“I don’t need long.” She groaned. He was still rubbing her clit, working it nicely into a state of need. “Yes, like that, Harry.”

He closed his eyes and gritted his teeth. She stroked down to his root, then back up again, squeezing as tight as she dared.

“Fuck, Liv.” He pulled out of her, yanked her panties so they dangled from her right foot, then positioned himself at her entrance.

  She gripped his taut biceps.

Another bout of turbulence hit. She shifted on the shiny surface and clung to him.

Harry pushed in, pressing on her lower back to keep her in position. He kept on going, sliding upward until he filled her.

  She moaned long and low.

“That’s so good,” he said, using his free hand to cup her chin and hold her face to his. “So good to be inside you.”

  “Yes, yes…fuck me.”

“I intend to.” He gave her a devilish smile, then withdrew almost out. As he penetrated again, he kissed her.

The plane seemed to disappear, the noise fading. She forgot she was so high in the sky. All that was real was Harry gently fucking her. He hit full depth over and over, stoking a fire of need inside her.

She hugged his erection with her internal muscles.

He moaned into her mouth, the sound rumbling through his chest and onto hers.

She did it again, as much pressure as she could.

He tore his lips away. “Jesus, you want me to come now?”

“Yes, nearly, just a bit more…” She butted up against him, giving her clit that last bit of stimulation she needed. “Oh, God, yes, now.” She flung her head back and climbed the last moments to release.

He upped the pace, burying fast and deep. Gone was slow and controlled, now he was unleashing his passion.

Her breaths were jerking from her lungs. She stared past his shoulder and caught their reflection in the mirror. His sweet butt was tense, the muscles dipping inward at the sides with each pound. His jeans were bunched mid-thigh, red Calvin boxers sitting a fraction above. With his feet hip width apart, and his broad shoulders hunched as he encased her in his arms, she wondered if she’d ever seen him so sexy. She squeezed her thighs against his waist and let the image of them locked together spiral her into ecstasy.

Pleasure burst from her pelvis. She kept her eyes open, enjoying the visual. Until it became too much and she tucked her head beneath his chin, allowing spasms of bliss to radiate through her belly.

He came with her. Holding her close with her pelvis tilted at just the right angle for his cock.

A strangled roar filled her ears, his moan of release tangling with the engines. It was hard to catch her breath, her heart was thudding. She curled her toes until the arches of her feet ached.

“Ah, yeah,” he breathed, the air from his lungs hot on her scalp. “I like that…a lot.”

She fisted his t-shirt, pressed closer, hardly knowing where she stopped and he began.

  He slowed. “Are you okay?”

“How could I not be? I just joined the Mile High Club.” She was still struggling to catch her breath.

He pulled back and grinned. “I mean did I get carried away? I tried not to, but with you, Liv, it’s always so intense, so damn hot.”

Holding his face, she studied his eyes. She stared deep, looking into his soul. She needed to sometimes. Harry was rich, gorgeous, and famous and could have practically any girl on the planet, yet he’d chosen her. Not only that, he was happy to share. “Do you love me?”

“Hell, do you even need to ask?” He frowned. “You, the baby, the guys and kids out there are my life now.” He brushed his lips over hers. “And you’re the center of all that. I love you so much and I can’t imaging living a day without you at my side.”

She smiled. She saw only truth in his eyes. And it was the way she felt about him, too. About all of them. A day apart would be a wasted day.

He stroked her cheek, her neck, then over her breasts. “You’re going to be even sexier with a bump.”

She giggled. “You really think so?”

“Yeah, I do.” He touched her belly and withdrew his cock. “But then again, I find you sexy however you are.”

“Well I’m going to blow up like a balloon.” She paused and thought about it. Getting pregnant hadn’t been part of her plan, but now that she was, and with Banna, Amal, and Darius with them, it seemed utterly perfect. The children were the icing on the cake.

Harry pulled up his boxers, then his jeans. As he fastened the silver buckle on his brown leather belt, Olivia slipped from the counter.

He caught her elbow. “Steady there.”

“I’m okay.” She smiled and fiddled with her skirt. “But you should go out first. I can stay in here a minute, sort myself out.”

The plane bumped up and then down, just a little.

“Sure,” Harry said, stooping to retrieve her panties which had fallen to the floor. “You want anything else to eat? I can get you something.”

“Mmm, I might have one of those salads Banna was eating, it looked nice.”

“And super healthy.” He grinned. “I’ll go get that sorted. You want more juice?”

  “Yes, please. Thanks.”

He slipped from the restroom, and she flicked the lock on the door. After wiping away his pleasure, pulling on her underwear and washing her hands, she stared in the mirror.

“You’re going to be a mother.” She bit on her bottom lip. “Mom. Mommy.” The words sounded strange in relation to herself. She peered closer, wondering if there was anything different in h
er eyes now that she was expecting.

They were sparkling, but that might have been a product of her delicious orgasm with Harry. Other than that they were clear and bright. Happiness shone from them. She smiled, enjoying the feeling of contentment. The knowledge that came from somewhere deep down inside of her that everything would be okay.

Sure, they’d have some demons to face, she knew that. Having taken on the responsibility of three children was bound to create new challenges going forward, and she always had her men’s needs to juggle. But life in Australia was going to be good, she was sure of it. And now she couldn’t wait to get there.

  Chapter Fifteen

Olivia’s impatience didn’t get them to Perth any quicker, and by the time they landed she felt like she’d been in the air for days.

Luckily Evan had slept pretty much the entire trip. So had Amal and Darius, who’d both started several movies, which they hadn’t finished because they’d fallen asleep. Banna had binge watched as many Disney princess films as she could and now had bags under her eyes and was yawning as the plane touched down.

“Evan.” Olivia kissed his cheek and squeezed his hand. “Time to wake up.”

“Mmm, what?” He shifted in his seat then rubbed his eyes.

  “We’re here, in Perth.”

“Already?” He sat forward and looked out of the window as the Lear pulled up at the private arrivals terminal. “That was quick.”

“Maybe for you,” Mason said, twisting to peer between two seats. “It’s been a long trip for us.”

“Perhaps we should all knock ourselves out with a pill,” Raul said.

“And then who will keep an eye on the kids.” Lucas grinned and reached over to help Amal untangle his earphones.

“Did you enjoy your movies, Banna?” Raul asked.

  “Yes, they were very good.”

“Did you have a favorite?” he asked.

“Yes, I liked Frozen best.” She paused. “I watched it twice.”

Harry smiled. “It was a good choice. If you’d like we can get it on disc so you can watch it whenever you want.”

  “Really?” Her eyes widened.

“Yes, really.” Harry began slotting away her coloring pencils, which had been abandoned in favor of the movies.
