“No, you’re just filling me, which is what I need. Fuck me, Josh. I need to feel you fuck me hard. Don’t treat me gently.”
“Music to my ears.” Josh slammed himself all the way home. He’d forgotten to ask her if she minded it rough. He’d obviously been right to assume that she didn’t. “Let me fill you. Tell me how it feels.”
“You’re right about the hands and blindfold,” she said, panting as she lifted her hips to keep pace with the increasing tempo of his thrusts. “Even my sense of smell is enhanced.”
“Uh-huh.”
“In a good way,” she said, giggling. “I shall always associate the aroma of sex with you from now on.”
“You make this sound like a one-off.”
“Stop talking and save your energy to fuck me,” she said on an anguished sigh.
Nice change of subject, Josh thought, but he didn’t have time to dwell upon it. His own climax was building, and he needed to get this show on the road. He grabbed a pillow and shoved it beneath her buttocks.
“Legs around my neck,” he said harshly. “I need to get deeper.”
She didn’t hesitate to comply, leaving her ass clear of the bed for Josh to spank. He did so, timing the blows to coincide with his thrusts. Her breathing deepened, as did her willingness to meet his thrusts halfway.
Ellie was a natural sub.
He felt her close the walls of her vagina around him and decided not to make her wait, mainly because he was so damned close himself.
“Let it go, babe,” he said encouragingly. “Come for me.”
“I am. I’m so close, Josh, I can’t hold it back any longer.”
“No need. Feel my cock fucking you. Feel how big you’ve made me and ride it for all it’s worth.”
“I am. Let me have it all.” She twisted her head from side to side, her shiny hair spread all over the place beneath her as pleasure consumed her. To Josh she was a vision, a drug he’d never get enough of, and he watched her in fascination as she grew less and less inhibited. “Here it is. Fuck me now!”
She yelled the last words, and Josh let himself go, impaling her with a combination of his girth, months’ worth of frustration, and the overwhelming desire to demonstrate just how special she was to him. She milked his cock with fervor, her entire body pulsating as her orgasm gripped her. Josh held back, just until she stopped quivering. Then he let himself go, ejaculating into the thin condom for what felt like an eternity, accumulated tension draining out of him along with his endless stream of sperm.
He collapsed on top of her afterwards, temporarily spent and totally boneless. He dropped a kiss on her forehead, but before he found the energy to move the door opened and Rex’s head appeared.
“Josh, I…Fucking hell! What did I miss?”
Chapter Seven
“Oh, shit!”
Ellie’s instinctive reaction was to cover herself, but her hands were still shackled and she was unable to move. She wasn’t sure if she was glad her eyes were covered, preventing her from seeing Rex’s reaction to her unorthodox circumstances. She just wished he’d have the decency to get out and at least give her time to cover up. The restoration of her dignity might take a little longer. Like the next fifty years.
“Don’t mind me, guys,” Rex’s said teasingly.
Ellie could hear amusement in his tone. It was equally evident he didn’t intend to go anywhere.
“Do something,” she hissed at Josh.
She heard a deep rumbling sound emanating from his chest as he released her wrists. The bastard was laughing! How he could he possibly find amusement in something so embarrassing? Ellie, cheeks burning scarlet, pulled the blindfold from her head so forcibly that she took half her head of hair with it, or so it felt.
“Ouch!”
“Go easy there,” Josh said, rubbing her scalp for her, laughter still softening his eyes.
She bashed his hand away and pulled the sheet up to her chin, refusing to look at either of them.
“How was it for you, honey?”
Rex addressed the question to Josh. Just as well. If he’d been crass enough to ask her the same thing, she’d probably have socked him one. She made do with inverting her chin, determined that at least one of them would behave responsibly.
“I think we’re embarrassing the lady,” Josh said, slipping one hand beneath the sheet and running it gently across her stomach, his thumb drifting low enough to tantalize her clit.
Ellie closed her eyes, willing herself to be somewhere else. Anywhere would do, just so long as she didn’t have to face Rex when she got there. Oh, and not seeing Josh’s smug amusement would be a bonus, too. It didn’t work, though. When she opened her eyes again she was still in Josh’s bed and Rex still leaned against the door, arms folded across his chest, looking thoroughly pleased with himself. Josh’s damned hand wasn’t helping matters. In spite of her mortification, his delicate touch was actually turning her on again.
“Looks to me like she’s ready for another round,” Rex said easily.
Ellie risked glancing at him. He’d wandered toward the bed as he spoke and sat himself on the edge—on Ellie’s side, of course.
“What do you want?” she asked petulantly.
Rex flashed a sexy smile. It only added to Ellie’s predicament, since it had the same effect on her pussy as Josh’s damned thumb.
“Well now,” he said, “perhaps you’d be better off asking what I can do for you.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Is she one of us?” Rex asked Josh.
“She needs training.”
“Even so, I was right about her, wasn’t I?”
Josh tilted his head to one side, then the other. “Looks that way.”
“Will you two please stop talking about me as though I’m not here?” Ellie was so annoyed that she sat up, forgetting to keep hold of the sheet. It slipped to her waist and gave Rex a close-up view of her tits. “Damn!” She pulled the sheet back up and slithered beneath it.
“Very nice!” Rex’s grin broadened. “Can I play?”
“Haven’t got that far yet.”
Ellie thought she saw Josh flash a warning glance Rex’s way, which further confused her.
“What’s going on?” she asked Josh. “If it’s to do with me, then I have a right to know.”
The men shared another prolonged glance, at the end of which Josh nodded imperceptibly. “I guess you do,” he said, apparently in no hurry to enlighten her.
“Before I die of old age,” Ellie added sweetly.
“Okay, babe, here’s the deal. Rex and I like to, er…share everything, if you get my drift.”
“What do you mean?” Ellie thought she knew but needed for him to spell it out.
“We’re good buddies with similar tastes.” Josh paused. “Especially in women.”
“Are you saying that you want to share me?” she asked, excitement ricocheting through her as the thought quickly took hold.
“That’s about the size of it,” Rex said, running a finger softly down her upper arm. “To be honest, it’s all either of us has been able to think about since you turned up here and caused mayhem in our well-organized, celibate existences.”
“But if you say no,” Josh added, “then that’s cool, too.”
“Or if you only want lover boy here,” Rex said, waving a hand in Josh’s direction, “then I guess I’ll survive. Although, be aware that jealousy usually makes me grouchy as hell.”
“No change there then,” Josh quipped.
“I don’t know what to say.” Ellie’s mind was racing with electrifying possibilities. Dare she?
“You ever taken two men at once before?” Rex asked.
Ellie hadn’t thought it possible to be more embarrassed than she was when Rex walked in unannounced. She now knew just how wrong she’d been. Her nakedness no longer seemed like such a big deal, and she sat up again, abandoning the sheet as she wiggled into a comfortable position against the headboard. Her embarrassme
nt was now of a very different nature. She was unsure whether to be flattered or outraged. It was obviously nothing out of the ordinary for them, but it was a huge departure for her.
Her head might have doubts, but it seemed her body was having none of it since it already throbbed with anticipation. Both of these guys were real studs—she’d thought so the moment she set eyes on them, which is why she suggested the bachelor auction. That they were both interested in her was surreal. She didn’t fool herself into thinking they were motivated by anything more than expediency. She was sharing this apartment with them, so they didn’t have to go out of their way to get their rocks off. They could break their self-imposed embargo on sex without it taking too much time out of their working days.
Insulting, perhaps, but even so, she was overdue for some fun. They could treat it casually, like it was no big deal, and she would, too. Besides, her sex life to date had been woefully unadventurous. She’d never been spanked before today. She’d never been tied up, either. She’d enjoyed both experiences but suspected they were just the tip of the frost—the iceberg. It was time to broaden her horizons.
“No,” she said in answer to Rex’s question, “I haven’t, but, in fairness, you ought to know that I haven’t done very much in bed of an exploratory nature. That being the case, I won’t be offended if you’d prefer to reconsider.”
“You’ve never had anal sex?” Josh asked, shooting an incredulous glance at Rex.
“Nope, but I’m willing to try it.”
The guys shared a high five and looked very pleased with themselves.
“Baby, you just got yourself a deal,” Rex said.
“Er, just one thing,” Ellie said, holding up a hand to ward off Rex’s attempt at a kiss. “Did you two share Annabel, because if you did I don’t think I can—”
“Absolutely not,” Rex said. “I told this jerk he was being had, but by that time, he was no longer thinking with his brain.”
“We need to talk about Annabel,” Josh said, his good mood appearing to dissipate. “She’s here in Spirit, Rex. That’s what Ellie came to tell me.”
“Until she got distracted,” Rex added with an irrepressible grin.
“I need to shower,” Ellie said. “I’ll let you update Rex, Josh, and I’ll see you back in the lounge.”
“Aw, baby, I thought we were gonna seal our agreement right here and now.”
“Not tonight,” Josh said. “She needs to be trained slowly.”
Rex pouted. “I guess I can wait until tomorrow.” He touched his erection through the fabric of his pants and treated them to a long-suffering sigh. “Just about.”
Ellie wondered if her body had been taken over by a stranger when she actually laughed at his theatrics, levered herself from the bed, and walked naked to the door without the slightest embarrassment. She could feel the guy’s gazes boring into her back and, glancing over her shoulder, could see they appreciated what they saw. She crouched to collect her discarded clothing, deciding that a spot of unadulterated admiration did wonders for her ego.
When she finished her shower, she checked her e-mail and then returned to the lounge. She found both guys waiting for her, a bottle of champagne open on the counter.
“If this doesn’t call for a celebration,” Josh said, winking at her, “then I don’t know what does.”
“Sounds good to me.”
“You okay?” he asked her.
“I’m absolutely fine.” She stood on her toes and deposited a kiss on his cheek, repeating the process with Rex, still wondering if she recognized this new, sexually liberated Ellie. She also hoped she’d stick around for a bit. The feeling was…well, liberating, and Ellie reckoned she could get used to it. “Better than I’ve been for a long time.”
“I so wish you’d found something to complain about,” Rex said. “This guy gets too big for his boxers sometimes.”
“I noticed that about him,” Ellie said, laughing. “And, trust me, there isn’t a woman on this planet who’d complain about his…er, assets.”
“Now you’ve really done it. He’ll be impossible for the next few days.”
“Me?” Josh flashed an innocent smile. “Modesty’s my middle name.”
Rex rolled his eyes. “Yeah, right!”
They settled on the sofa with their glasses. Ellie was still smiling at the easy banter, but her mood turned somber when Josh brought up the question of Annabel.
“Why do you think she turned up early?” Ellie asked.
“That’s easy,” Josh replied, grimacing. “She’s out to get me any which way she can. Has been for a while, and you’ve just provided her with a valid reason to pry into my affairs.”
“Sorry about that.” Ellie paused. “What do you mean by saying she’s been out to get you?”
“Just after we broke up in New York, she seemed to turn up wherever I was.” Josh stretched his arms above his head and grimaced. “At first she tried to charm her way back into my good books. When that didn’t work, she’d show up in public places with different men, trying to pretend our meetings were a coincidence. In reality, she was hoping to make me jealous, I think. When that failed, she started bad-mouthing me—”
“She was stalking you?”
“Pretty much. Then I moved here, and I thought she’d give it up and get on with her life.”
“How did she know where to find you in New York?”
Josh shrugged. “She’s a journalist. I figured she probably bribed my doorman.”
“If she cheated on you, she can’t blame you for walking out on her.” Ellie frowned. “She wouldn’t have been too happy if the roles had been reversed,” she added, thinking of Annabel’s accusations when they’d met earlier in the day, even though she no longer had any claims on Josh. “Why does she feel the need for revenge?”
“You know her better than I do. Everything has to be on Annabel’s terms.”
“She fell hard for Josh,” Rex said. “I really think he was the one from her perspective, and she never dreamed she’d lose him. Her ego’s taken a bashing, and she needs to get her self-esteem back on track by crushing Josh.”
“She’s certainly welcome to try,” Josh said in a mordant tone.
“You make her sound mentally unstable.” Ellie thought of some of the spiteful things she’d done to people who crossed her over the years and wondered if that could actually be the case.
“Personally, I wouldn’t rule out the possibility,” Rex said grimly. “Do you know she even tried to come between Josh and me, suggesting our friendship wasn’t healthy because she was jealous of our closeness?”
“I don’t know why she left New York,” Josh said, “but if I had to guess, I’d say that taking that TV producer to bed didn’t get her the job. Perhaps he even warned off other networks interested in taking her on.”
“Obviously she didn’t get the job,” Ellie said, “or she would have taken it, no matter how menial. She’s desperate to break into television.”
“So why come to Denver and why take another job in your father’s corporation?” Josh asked.
Ellie shrugged. “Why wouldn’t she? She’s good at her job, but journalists move about all the time.” Ellie scowled. “It’s odd that Dad didn’t mention it to me, though.”
“Perhaps he doesn’t know,” Rex said. “It’s a big organization. He wouldn’t know about a relatively junior appointment, would he?”
“I suspect that Annabel approached him,” Ellie said. “She left her original job with Dad just before Mom got sick. I don’t think they’ve been in contact much since she died. Although, it seems I only know what they want me to know about their relationship.”
“How long ago did your mom die?” Josh asked gently.
“Two years.”
“Sorry to put you through this, babe, but your dad is still a relatively young man. An intelligent, powerful, and emotionally vulnerable man,” he added with a significant smile that owed little to humor.
Ellie dropped her head.
In a position to help Annabel’s career, you mean?”
“The thought did cross my devious mind.”
“He doesn’t own any television companies, but he has a lot of contacts in that field.” She paused. “Are you suggesting that if Annabel and my father were involved, it stopped because Mom got ill?”
“That crossed my mind as well,” Josh said.
Rex nodded. “Yeah, mine, too.”
He ran a hand across Ellie’s shoulders and idly twirled a strand of her hair round his forefinger. His teasing touch on her nape caused Ellie to shiver, but not because she was cold. Rex’s reminder of what she’d agreed to do with them both caused her heart rate to increase and anticipation to roil through her. It was as quickly extinguished when she recalled that they were discussing her father’s possible involvement with her ex-best friend. The idea made her feel sick to the stomach, dispelling all lascivious thoughts from her head.
“This time yesterday I would have defended Annabel to the hilt,” Ellie said, tugging her hair free of Rex’s grasp and expelling a long sigh. “Nothing would surprise me about her anymore.”
“You think that if she has Ellie’s father in her clutches, she’ll still feel the need to get even with you, Josh?” Rex asked.
“I’m sure of it. A woman scorned, and all that.”
“I can’t rescind the invite to the press conference,” Ellie said. “She’d immediately smell a rodent.”
“A rat,” Josh said, smiling.
“What?”
“She’d smell a rat, not a rodent.”
“That’s what I said.”
“Anyway, I wouldn’t ask you to rescind the invite,” Josh said. “It would only make her more determined.” He picked up one of Ellie’s hands, turned it over, and kissed the inside of her wrist. Ellie’s insides melted at the touch of his lips, and some of the tension left her. “I hate to suggest this, sweetheart, but I think the best way forward would be for you to try to be as friendly as usual with her. If you behave any other way, she’ll think I’ve turned you against her.”
“She already thinks that. She all but accused me of having fallen for you.”
“Keep your friends close and your enemies closer,” Rex muttered.
