More than a Fling (Billionaires on the Beach) Page 5

“Hell yes,” Eva whispered. Her eyes scanned over his face eagerly. “I want to ride you while we ride in your fancy car.”

“I look forward to your attentions,” he said with a small smirk framing his face.

“Well, let’s leave so you can have some dessert.” Her irises were cloudy with lust and her lips formed an impish little smile.

He needed no further encouragement. When the waiter came back with his card the two of them stood up to leave. They walked with a spring in their step, eager to be in a private place to explore their growing passions.

The cool air of the tropical island filled their lungs with its seductive heaviness. The limo was pulled around, and once again, Andreas opened the door as a gentleman. She kissed his lips tenderly before stepping inside, her heart threatening to burst out of her chest from excitement. She couldn’t quite explain why she felt this way. When he entered a moment later, she latched her body to his as soon as the door shut.

He was taken aback by her zealousness, but his arms wrapped around her anyway to give her better access. His lips parted to allow her tongue access as she devoured his mouth. Their tongues danced, each seeking control of the kiss as they battled with their passion. She lifted her dress and swung her leg over his lap to straddle him a small mischievous smile playing on her face.

She wanted him in the worst kind of way. Needed him even. She couldn’t explain it. For so long she had been without anyone special in her life; then Andreas had walked in the looks of a god, and the personality of Clark Kent all in one. It was too much for her, too much to be true. There was no way this kind of happiness could last forever, so she was determined to get as much of it as she possibly could.

Andreas pulled her in, kissing her more frantically. Not since his ex-fiancée had he felt this strongly about someone—and that was a bond that had been built over years. This connection with Eva was unreal, but he reveled in it. He was determined to make it last forever, and knowing himself, he was one of the few people on earth with the strength to make it happen.

A sudden jingling tone filled the car that interrupted their bliss. The pair broke their kiss, trying to determine where the sound was coming from.

“Oh! It’s my phone.” Eva said and reached into her purse. It was a strange number she didn’t recognize at all, and shrugged it off. “Probably a telemarketer telling me I won a cruise or something.”

He smiled at her, “I still get those calls,” he said smugly, “and then I politely inform them I’m the twelfth richest man in the world and I own a few cruise ships. Their reaction is quite amusing.”

“Only twelfth richest?” she asked with a smirk. “I’m disappointed. I expect more from you if you want to keep me around.” She was stunned by the words leaving her mouth. It wasn’t as if she was really considering staying with him long term.

“I’ll do anything for you.” His tone was serious and he kissed her again before she had a chance to counter what he said. He knew fully well this was just a fling for her. He wasn’t going to push it any further than then she would let him. He was convinced however that he could make her fall in love with him if he put in enough effort. He knew he couldn’t let her get away. There was so much about her he didn’t know and he craved to know everything.

The phone rang again, but the two of them were so lost in their lust that neither heard it. She straddled him again, positioning herself above him. She tugged her panties off to one side before eagerly pulling his cock from his pants and slipping it inside of her. She impaled herself onto him and all thought of anything else was lost to her. She rode him with abandon, easing into what was now a familiar rhythm. Her body was getting so used to Andreas that she worried about how painful it would be to rip herself away. She allowed the pleasure to override her premature sense of loss, and tried to focus on the comforting sensation of having him inside her.

Each time their bodies connected, it was always better than the last. This particular time, Eva felt like Andreas was connecting with much more than just her body. It was unsettling, but she was powerless to resist.

The ride home was filled with the sound of their love making. The scent of their sex hung thick in the limo. It was intoxicating; the pair of lovers had become completely drunk off their passions. Neither realized they had even arrived at Andreas’ home until the driver politely knocked on the window after several moments of the car being stopped.

They laughed as they were startled from their spell. They reluctantly detached their bodies and arranged their clothes so they could exit the car. Andreas made sure to tip the driver a little extra before they departed into his home.

“Wow, this is almost as nice as your hotel,” she said approvingly.

“I appreciate that,” he said. “I like to take care of the things that belong to me. So how about you come inside and I take care of you.” He smirked at her and pulled her into another deep kiss.

“I plan to come alright, but don’t think for one second that I belong to you.” She had caught the implication of what she said, and even though the idea turned her on in a way she never realized before, it was in her nature to give him a fight.

“Oh, Eva,” he said in a raspy voice. She filled him with joy and passion. She brought out a side of him long since buried away and he planned on making the most of it. He swore to himself that he wouldn’t let her get away from him. Logically, he knew he was rushing things, but in his heart it didn’t matter. He wanted her.

  Chapter Ten

The night had passed so quickly that Andreas could hardly believe it when the sun started peeking through the curtains of his room. He looked to his side and saw Eva sleeping peacefully next to him. It all seemed so perfect; almost too good to be true. A sinking feeling rose within his heart and he knew something was going to happen to ruin it all. The only thing he was sure of was that if and when disaster stuck, he would be strong enough to hold onto her. Nothing, not even god, was going to rip her from him.

With a reluctant sigh, he shimmied out of bed. He didn’t want to wake her, but his mouth felt as if it was filled with cotton and he needed to brush his teeth desperately to clear the feeling. His stride was long and filled with confidence. He felt like a new man. It was something he couldn’t quite explain, and he found himself thinking about it as he went through the mundane.

He had woken up next to a woman he felt a deep attachment to. The idea of doing so again caused a feeling of giddiness. It was a feeling he had been lacking since he had been abandoned by his fiancée so long ago. The fear of that happening again still permeated through his entire being, but he decided to give it a try. He couldn’t stay locked up in his home forever.

A deep sigh of relief escaped his lungs as the mint sensation filled his mouth. Instantly he felt the cobwebs clear away. It was a pleasurable sensation, but he found himself craving the taste of something else. Naughty thoughts entered his mind, and he couldn’t shake them away. He wanted to sneak back out into the bedroom and disappear under the covers and bury his face between Eva’s thighs. It was something he hadn’t done in years and the more he thought about it, the bigger his smile became.

He spit the excess toothpaste out and rinsed his mouth out with cool water. His eyes looked into the mirror and he appraised himself for a moment. It was the same face he had seen a thousand times before but there was something different about himself. It was clear that he looked happier; it was as if ten years had been erased from his eyes. The source of the change was obvious and it made him feel that much closer to her. With a smile he gently applied a towel to his face to dry off the dampness, before walking back out into the bedroom.

Eva was picking up her clothes frantically. Tears streamed down her face as she muttered curses under her breath. Andreas was more than a little shocked, and all thoughts of sex were replaced by a deep worry. His forehead creased with concern and his pace quickened.

“Eva,” he said gently, reaching out to touch her shoulder.

  She h
adn’t even realized that he was in the room again with her. Her mind had been so preoccupied with something devastating that she jumped in fear when she felt his touch. As soon as she registered it was him, she threw her arms around his neck and latched onto him desperately.

Nothing about the situation made sense to him. Although he was confused, he said nothing and simply held her. He only knew for sure that she needed him by the way she clung to him, and even though he didn’t know why, he would be there for her no questions asked.

For several long moments she held him as the tears flowed freely down her face. Her chest heaved with sobs and her breathing was came in broken gasps.

“Eva,” he said again in a gentle voice. His fingers flowed through her hair gently and he massaged the back of her head in an attempt to comfort her.

The action seemed to calm her down, but only slightly. “It’s my mom,” she said softly.

“What happened?” he asked with concern.

“She was admitted into the hospital last night. That’s what those calls were for, but I ignored them to fuck you. Andreas… I should have been there.” She broke down again into a mess of sobs.

A thousand thoughts ran across his mind as he held her, and all her guilt transferred into him. “Don’t worry.” His voice was strong and gentle at the same time.

She looked up into his eyes with a tilt in her head. “What do you mean, don’t worry? My mom is dying and I’m having fun!”

“Don’t worry because I’m going to make sure she has the best care possible. What hospital is she at? What is her condition?” he asked without missing a beat.

The fury that was building up inside of her seemed to subside for a moment. “St. Luke’s, In New York. She has chronic breathing problems. They told me she fell down trying to go to the store and hasn’t woken up since.”

“Alright. If she’s well enough I’ll have her moved to St. Francis, I have a few friends there that specialize in breathing issues. I’ll make a few calls.” Without wasting a single moment, he reached for his phone.

She reached out to stop him, a strange look in her eyes. “Andreas, you don’t have to do this.”

He smiled at her and shook his head. “I can help. It’s the decent thing to do.”

She wrapped her arms around him, unable to think of a counter argument for his actions. “You better not ever hold this over my head,” she said as she looked up into his eyes. “I swear, if you do I will cut off your nuts.”

“I won’t ever use this against you. I promise.” He knew himself well enough to know he could keep that promise. Help often came at a price. That was the way the world worked. He knew she was smart enough to know that, and that was the source of her hesitation. “Now, can I make the call?” he asked softly.

“Please do,” she said, squeezing his waist. She felt so guilty for not being there for her mom. A hundred horrible names passed through her mind, but at the same time she knew that she didn’t have time to feel sorry for herself. Andreas could help; even though her pride told her to say no, her logic overrode it. All that mattered to her now was that her mom pulled through this. “Thank you.”

He smiled down at her. “Don’t worry about it. I’m just happy to help. I’m magic.”

“You are,” she said softly. “I want to be there for her.”

“As you wish. I’ll have my plane ready for us whenever you want to go,” he said without hesitation.

“Us?” she asked with a raised brow.

“Of course. I’d love to meet your mother!” he exclaimed.

“What are you?” she asked in wonder. “Men are never this nice.”

He shrugged his shoulders, unsure of how to respond to that. “Maybe I’m an alien.”

She laughed for the first time and allowed herself to breathe. He was being so strong that she couldn’t help but feel as if things were going to be okay. “I knew something bad was going to happen, but I thought it was because you were going to be mean. I didn’t count on this. I should have called her and made sure she was alright. If I hadn’t let Nicole drag me to this fucking place.” Eva started hyperventilating as her blood pumped rapidly through her veins.

He put a gentle hand on her cheek and stroked it lightly with his thumb. “Eva it’s okay. We know now, and I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure she’s okay. Blaming yourself isn’t going to do anyone any good.”

She knew he was right but her temper got the better of her and she pulled away from his touch. “Just make the call.”

“As you wish,” he said softly as be began dialing a number.

  Chapter Eleven

Soft tremors filled the cabin of the plane as it sped down the runway. The vibrations coursed through Eva and filled her with dread.

“I really hate flying,” she said with her eyes closed.

“Oh? I’ll remember that,” he said with a soft smile.

“Please do. Trains, cars, boats. I can handle those, but I really hate planes.” Her hands gripped at the arm rest for dear life as the nose of the plane lifted into the air and the short feeling of weightlessness caused her stomach to lurch in her body.

“All of them far more dangerous than a plane, statistically,” he said with a slight ironic laugh.

“I know that. I still don’t like them.” She opened her eyes and looked into his for some kind of comfort.

“Fair enough. Just try and relax. I make a much more comfortable pillow than the arm rest though.” His lips turned up into a smile.

She laughed lightly and nodded, scooting over and resting her head on his shoulder. “That I’m well aware of.”

“Try and get some sleep. I’ll wake you when we’re about to land or crash,” he said with a chuckle.

She slapped her arm lightly and made a face at him. “We better not! And you better not drag me off to some remote part of the world to have your way with me either.”

“I’ll wait for the return trip to do that. Because I’m a nice guy.”

The banter took her mind off the situation and she was grateful for that. “Uh, huh. Such a nice guy. I hope Nicole isn’t too mad at me for ditching her.”

“I’m sure she understands. Besides I told my brother to keep her company. I’m sure they will find a way to amuse themselves.”

“Oh, I’m sure. If he’s at all as insatiable as you are, he might even be able to keep up with her.” Her tone was light and mirth was beginning to form in her eyes. Even though her mom was lying in a hospital, she was trying her best to be positive, in the hopes that those waves would reach across the ocean and help out in some way.

“I’m sure Tyler will take care of her,” he said with a grin. “Trust me. We have nothing to worry about!”

“Maybe,” she said softly as a thought formed in her head. It was an insane thought; one she knew was bred by her vulnerability, but once she had it she couldn’t seem to push it away. “Andreas?” she asked softly.

She bit her lip before speaking, sending him a small and hesitant smile. “Maybe you’re a little more than just a fling.”

He beamed at her brightly. “I was hoping you’d say that!”
