Wayward Soul Page 2

It takes me five minutes to get to Melinda's. As soon as I pull up, she comes running out the door wearing this bright red dress that hugs her curvy form perfectly. She has her hair up in a high ponytail, and very little makeup. She gets in and we drive the short distance to Beacon.

When we get there, the line is around the block. We strut our way to the bouncers, showing them a little something extra to get in the door ahead of everybody else. We hear all the whines and moans from the line as we walk through the door.

Walking in, I take in the scene. The dance floor is filled with couples bumping and grinding to the beat. The first thing we do is head to the bar and get drinks. I order a jack and coke, and Melinda gets some “girly” drink. When I start to hand the bartender money, he shakes his head and points down the bar. I see a handsome guy standing there, his glass raised. I raise mine and mouth, Thank you. Free drinks are always a plus.

After downing our drinks, we make our way to the dance floor. Melinda and I start swaying our bodies to the beat. We dance with each other until a pair of hands grip my waist, pulling me back into a solid body. I spin around and come face-to-face with the man who bought us the drinks.

We dance for a few songs, hips grinding and hands roaming. Suddenly, his hand grips the back of my neck and he leans in to whisper in my ear, “Let’s go, sweetheart.”

I nod, looking into his eyes. He grabs my hand and drags me to the entrance. The night is beautiful and the stars are shining bright. When is the last time I looked at the stars? He hails a cab, then helps me inside.

The whole ride to his place is silent as we sit on opposite sides of the car. My mind keeps drifting back to that sexy biker from Monday. I don’t know why I can’t get him out of my head.

The cab stops and he pays the driver, then leads me into his first floor apartment. Once the door is closed, he tugs me down the hallway to what I assume is his bedroom. Suddenly, his mouth captures mine, his tongue probing. He reaches for my zipper, slowly pulling it down. Pulling it off my shoulders, I let it fall to the floor. He breaks our kiss, as his eyes roam over my body. I'm thin and have very little curves, so I get a little self-conscious at his perusal.

He smiles before running his hands down my body. His mouth drags across my skin, kissing my chest. I reach down and grip the buckle of his belt, then unbutton his slacks. Pushing them and his underwear over his hips, I rip open his shirt, buttons flying across the floor. As he lifts me off the ground, I wrap my legs around him and we move to the bed. Lying me down, his hand goes straight for my core. He glides a finger into my wetness and thrusts in and out a few times before grabbing a condom and rolling it on his hard length. Lining his dick up with my pussy lips, he trusts forward, hard, causing my whole body to jerk back. He continues to ram into me, grunting and moaning in my ear about how good it feels. For him, maybe. He’s not even trying to make it good for me. He just wanted a warm pussy to stick his dick into. Two more thrusts is all it takes for him before I feel his body shudder.

He pulls out and walks into the bathroom, as I roll over and look at the wall. He walks back in the room and slides under the covers, pulling my naked body to his. After a few minutes of silence, his breathing evens out and he falls asleep. I fall asleep a little while later.

Waking at five a.m., I sneak out of his place and hail a cab. Sitting there, as the driver heads back to the club to get my car, I ask myself how I got to this point. This isn't what I wanted my life to be like. I don't want to be the girl who sleeps with any guy who flirts with me.

Maybe I do want to fall in love.

  Chapter Three

I’ve been let down my whole life. My old man used to beat my mom until she couldn't get back up, so I spent most of my childhood picking her up off the floor. She wasn't a fighter, but she was definitely a survivor. The night he put her in the hospital with a concussion was the worst thing I've ever experienced. I was ten and I couldn't do anything to help her. The only thing I knew to do was call my uncle.

I heard the phone ring and almost hung up before a gruff voice came over the line. "Yeah?"

I didn't know what to say, so I said the first thing that came to mind, "My momma is hurt. She told me to call this number if it was an emergency." I took a deep breath and waited for him to say something, anything.

He grunted. “Who’s your momma, boy?"

  "Christina,” I answered quietly.

I heard him talking to someone else before getting on the phone again. "What's your name, son?"

I hesitated. Didn’t he know my mom? "Alec," I whispered. The beeping of the machines around me was loud and scary, and I wanted to get out of here.

"Where are you and your momma?" I could hear the anger in his voice. It was the same tone my daddy used when he was about to hurt my momma.

"At the hospital." I had a shaky tone to my voice. I was scared he might hurt her, too. I couldn’t let her get hurt anymore.

"Do you know where you live?" he questioned. He must not know my momma after all.

  "No,” I whimpered.

"Hey, little man. It’s okay. I'll find you. I'll be there as soon as I can. Who did this to your momma?"

He voice was calm now. "Daddy."

The nurse walked into the room and gave me a sad smile. I didn’t want them to feel sorry for me. I just wanted my momma to be okay.

"Hey, little man. Can you do me a favor?"

I looked around the room before answering, "Yeah." I could feel tears coming.

"If your daddy comes to the hospital, call me. Okay?”

"Okay," I responded, watching my momma in the hospital bed.

  "We will be there soon."

A few hours passed. I was terrified my daddy would come back and hurt my momma even more. Suddenly, the door opened and in walked a big man wearing leather. I looked up at him, but wasn’t scared. He must be my uncle.

He was mean looking, but didn’t look mad like Daddy usually did. He looked at me, at the bed, then back at me before kneeling in front of me. "Hey, little man. I'm your uncle Nick. Your aunt Emily is my wife. Do you remember your aunt Emily?" I nodded and he pulled my small body to his. He whispered against my hair that everything would be all right.

After a week in the hospital, my mom was well enough to travel, so Uncle Nick had her moved to a hospital in Las Vegas, closer to them and their family.

After a week in the hospital in Vegas, mom was finally released. I spent most of my time with my cousins and my uncle, while my mom spent time with my aunt.

My cousins and I became more like brothers. We did everything together. Their dad became a dad to me, too. They took me in and treated me like I was one of them. I never knew what it was like to have siblings until then.

The day my uncle came to save my mom and me from my old man was the happiest day of my life. I no longer had to worry about finding my mom on the floor, unconscious. I was finally able to be a kid again.

We lived in a small house a couple of blocks from the compound, and Uncle Nick and Aunt Emily. I grew up loving the compound and the club, which is why I decided to join. My cousins, Brantley and Jase, prospected with me when we turned eighteen.

When I turned eighteen, I began prospecting for the Wayward Saints MC. My uncle taught me a lot. He was always there when I needed him, and I got to hang out with my cousins every day.

I've been a member for the last five years. I never have to worry about finding a girl to fuck, and I don't settle down. I have the life for which most men would kill. I ride, I drink, and I fuck with no strings.

All of the brothers made our lives hell, but I wouldn't change it for anything. This is the life I love, and I got to share it with my family.

Without my aunt and uncle, I'm pretty sure my dad would have killed my mom, then turned on me – or, worse, I would have become the same man he was.

When a new charter opened in Seattle a couple years ago, I moved away from my family, jumping at the opportunity to make my own way. I got here at the perfect
time, getting a house and an almost renovated nightclub for cheap.

My plan is to finish the renovation and manage it through the club. Who knows? If it gets big, we can brand it and start a chain of nightclubs around each charter. Brant bought in with me, so I have more cash to complete the renovation. Having a few of the brothers help with the renovations saved some money, but there is still a lot to do.

  Chapter Four

Over the last few months, I have been renovating and getting Black ready to open. The renovation has pretty much taken over my life. I spend most of my days at Black, and my nights at the house.

I hear the rumble of a bike coming up my driveway, so I walk over and look out the blinds. Brantley. I haven't heard from this fucker in a few days. I wonder what he's doing here. The door swings open and my cousin walks in like he owns the place. I wasn't expecting this motherfucker at my house anytime soon, so I wonder what the fuck is up. "Hey, cousin,” he drawls out. I nod in his direction. At least he looks better than the last time I saw him.

When he first left for Oregon, he was a mess. He was heartbroken about leaving his girl. Too bad he never really had the girl. Prez’s daughter is off limits. We all knew that, but he didn't listen.

"Hey, fucker. What are you doing here, brother?" I ask, my eyebrow raised.

He grins. "I came here to check out the new club. It’s opening night, right? Plus, I have a few days off and needed to get away from that clingy bitch. She's talking about marriage and shit. I'm so over it,” he says with a huff. I start to laugh. He never learns. In his heart, he wants the one girl he can’t have, then finds the crazy bitches who won't leave him alone.

“Let me get dressed, then we can head on over."

I head to my room and shower, dressing in some nicer jeans and a black button-up shirt. I gel my dirty blonde hair into a messy look that all the girls love. I spray some cologne before making my way to the living room.

I sit on the couch and pull my boots on, looking at Brantley sitting there, messing with his phone. I catch a glimpse of what he's looking at. Fuck, he's whipped. He didn't even get that bitch’s pussy, but he can't get over her. When he looks up at me, I nod towards the door.

Without saying anything else, we make our way out the door and to our bikes.

Tonight is opening night at Black. It’s not even eight o’clock yet and it’s packed, inside and out. I didn't expect there to be this many people wanting to get into this place. The line is around the block, and there are sexy women everywhere. This night is going to be epic. I got my wingman next to me, and we are definitely going to get laid. The girls at the front of the line are watching us as we walk towards the door. The bouncers nod, letting us in without a word.

When we get inside, I look around at all the work I have done to this place. It looks fantastic. The dark colors were a good choice.

The dance floor is full, and the bass is pounding so loud, I can’t hear myself think. I keep running through the reasons Brantley showed up tonight but, after a few minutes, I decide I don't really care. He’s a grown man and can make his own decisions, even if I think he’s a moron for letting the girl go if he really wanted a life with her.

We walk upstairs and go to the control room. I have a few security men up here, watching the cameras. If they see anything shady, they call down to the guys on the floor to handle it. Brantley leans in to look closer at a monitor. His face pales. "Have you seen Anslie in town?" he asks, looking like he's seen a ghost.

I just smile at him. "Yeah, brother. The charter has to ensure she's protected while she’s down here."

"Why the fuck didn't you tell me?" he roars.

I just shake my head. "Are you fucking serious? You guys are supposed to stay away from each other."

"Fuck you, man. You’re supposed to be on my side. You know how I feel about her. Was she here last time I was in town?"

"Yeah. She's been here since she graduated. I think they got here a few days later, but I’m not sure.”

  "Fuck!" he yells.

I look back at the monitor while Brant paces the floor. I know he's going to talk to her. The cameras show that Anslie and her friend are on the dance floor. I hear the door slam and, a few minutes later, I see Brantley on the monitor striding towards Anslie. I watch her friend walk to the bar with some preppy asshole douchebag wearing a polo shirt and some khakis. Who the fuck wears a polo and khakis? His hand slides down to her waist and I want to fucking deck the bastard.

What the fuck? I've never had these thoughts about a chick before. Why the fuck should I care who that girl is dancing with?

I walk downstairs to the club, catching sight of the beautiful redhead again. Her body is perfect and I want to be the one with my arms wrapped around her. I watch her for a while longer, my dick aching to be inside her. Fuck!

Turning, I see Brant pulling Anslie towards the door, and I shake my head. I hope he knows what he's doing.

I watch the redhead a little longer before I hear that there is a commotion going on outside. Making my way towards the door, I see Brant trading punches with one of my bouncers.

Striding up to them, I grab them both by the collar. "What the fuck is going on out here?" I shout.

Charlie turns his attention towards me, blood dripping down his face. I think he has a broken cheekbone but, knowing Brantley, he could have more. Seeing as he flips out if anyone says anything bad to or about Anslie, I guess I’m not surprised.

"Gunner, your employee doesn't know how to treat a lady. As part owner of this club, I suggest you look for someone new to take his place."

I watch the anger in his face, then look at Charlie. "Go home. You’re done for the night. You ever disrespect a women again, I’ll let my cousin beat your ass. I'm sure his prez wouldn’t like to know someone is talking bad about his little girl."

I turn to Anslie. "Sorry about that, babe. Whenever you want to come back, let me know. I'll let you in for free, drinks on the house."

Anslie looks between Brant and I, a shocked expression on her face. "Okay...," she stumbles, smiling shyly.

She is the total opposite of her friend inside the club. Don't get me wrong. Anslie is hot, but in an innocent kind of way. Kind of like the “girl next door”. If she wasn't claimed by my cousin, I wouldn't mind getting a piece of that.

"Come on, doll. Let’s get you home,” Brant says. I just shake my head and walk back into the club, following Charlie.

Once we are inside, I tell Charlie to go wait in my office. I watch him walk off, then I scan the room, my eyes finding her. She is swaying her hips to the music, that preppy douche’s hands still all over her. I take a deep breath and make my way to my office.

I walk in and shut the door, causing Charlie's head to snap up. Watching him closely, I walk around the desk to my chair.

"What happened outside?" I ask. He nervously looks around the room. When his eyes reach mine, he pauses a second. "And don't lie to me. It will only make things worse." I can see him shaking a little. Why are men such pussies nowadays? Every single guy working for me is a fucking pussy. You get on their asses and they cower down to you. It’s pathetic.

"I just said something about that girl and he didn't like it."

Of course he did. I would think this asshole was smart enough to not run his mouth to a fucking biker. Bouncers always think they are bad asses…until we put them in line. "He's not someone you want to piss off. He doesn't take it too well when people talk bad about his girl. Don't do it again." He just nods and keeps his eyes down. "Go home and come back tomorrow. Just stay away from both of them."

"Okay, boss,” he replies before getting out of his chair and making his way to the door.

After he leaves, I walk back to the security room and check the monitors for the redhead. She's nowhere to be found. She must have gone home with that guy. Fuck. I need to get laid. Grabbing my jacket form my office, I make my way down the stairs and out the door to my bike.

I head back to the house. There
s always a willing whore there to suck my cock.

  Chapter Five

I still can't believe Brantley was at the same club we were last night. What are the odds? After begging Anslie to go to the club with me every night, he’s there the one night she decides to.

We decide on doing a girls’ night tonight, even though I know she rather be banging that Brantley. We are going to Saraphine, the next town over. I shower and blow dry my hair. After adding some curls, I add minimal makeup and apply some gloss. I pull on my favorite dark blue bandage dress and a pair of black slingbacks. I add some black bracelets and grab my bag.

I walk out of my room and head for the kitchen. I grab a water from the fridge, then wait for Anslie to come out of her room. I swear that girl takes forever.

After her night with Brant, she must be taking longer to get ready. I’m glad I slept at that guy’s house and not ours. Who knows what I might have heard?

When she finally makes an appearance, I check out her outfit. "Great minds think alike!" I say, wiggling my eyebrows.

"Hell, yeah! We look hot!" she laughs, grabbing her clutch.

"Oh, my god, bitch! I forgot. I heard Brant punched Charlie last night! What the fuck was that about?" I stare at her with a smirk and a knowing look. I want details and I want them now.

”Charlie pretty much called me a ‘biker whore’ and said he should have fucked me when I showed up. You know how Brant is..."

I can't tell how she’s feeling about him being here. "Is he here for good?”

Her faces changes. She shakes her head and sighs. "No. He’s only here for a couple days..."

I look at her in shock. "Then why aren't you fucking him right now?”

“He has club business tonight. He wanted to come over in the morning, but I said we would be out for girls’ night, so we can meet up later.”
