Switch Hitter

I clamp my lips shut; I should not be discussing sex with this guy.
I don’t even know him.
He is enemy number one tonight.
And he wants me to finish my sentence, of course he does.
“Can you imagine what they’d be like in theee….” He prompts me, unfolding himself from the steps, rising to his full height. Brushes off his jeans.
“I’m not discussing sex with you.”
His grin almost makes me smile back. “I can fill in the blanks just fine all by myself, I’m a big boy.”
He is a big boy. Larger than life, and for the first time since stepping out onto this porch, I wonder what his name is. Where he’s from. If we’ve ever crossed paths on campus.
He stands over me now by a good foot, his lean hips resting against the white railing of the baseball house. Dark brown hair cut short. Tan skin. Beautiful full lips. His arms...
My eyes settle on those arms; settle on his wide shoulders and muscular deltoids. The bulge of his biceps and pec muscles. If he notices me checking him out, he doesn’t mention it, instead, doing a brisk assessment of his own, beginning at my brown half boots. Up my black leggings. Over my thick, chunky sweater.
Flicker on my breasts, pausing.
I feel his eyes land on my lips, nose and hair. My long chestnut hair is pulled back into a tight ponytail almost at the top of my head, conservatively.
Boring, I suppose some would say.
I’m barely wearing any makeup; another bone of contention I’d had with my friends before leaving their apartment. Still, my skin is clear—this month during my period, I was spared an angry outbreak of the acne I normally would get.
Thank god.
My cheeks get hot as he stares—I feel my chest getting blotchy too, though he couldn’t possibly see it.
