Cobra- The Vigilante Box Set 1

“Yeah, it was. Oh, and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need our services in the future,” I added.
“Oh, it is our hope that we will never need your services again.” He tipped his hat to me. “Good-day.” With that, he got up and walked away.
If I actually gave a damn, I might have been insulted by his last statement. I stood up and walked towards the subway, taking the train and the bus back to my home. When I arrived, I took off my leather jacket as I made a bee line for the bed.
Jordan jumped in front of me before I could hit the mattress. “Wait! I want to show you something,” he said, grinning from ear-to-ear.
“What is it, can it wait? I wanna go back to sleep.”
“It kind of can, but I’m so excited about it, I want your opinion now. I was up all night working on it.”
Ahh shit, fine. “Okay, show me.”
I let him lead me over to the sofa where one of the most horrendous things I’d ever seen was put on display before me. “What the fuck is this?” I frowned.
“Your costume.” He looked at me as if he couldn’t understand my disappointment.
I grimaced. “The fuck it is.”
“You don’t like it?” he asked with a heartbroken tone.
I shook my head. “This is absolutely the gayest shit I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen some gay shit before.”
“I thought it was bold and would make a great statement.”
“You must have been high as fuck coming up with this idea last night. Oh, it’s bold, all right, And that’s the problem.” I stared at the rainbow colored costume that my apparently fashion deficient sidekick came up with, which consisted of biker shorts and a top. The only thing he got right was the eye mask, but the color was rainbow too, so even that was wrong.
“I thought it was a great idea,” he mumbled.
I looked down at him, and I could tell I’d hurt his feelings. “Look, Jordan, it’s not like I don’t appreciate the thought and effort you put into this, but this is too flashy. Yes, I’m a proud gay man and I’ve agreed to avenge the helpless. But not while looking like a gay avenger in this rainbow nightmare.”
“I can send it back and get the money returned.”
“This looks like something a flaming drag queen would wear at a gay Pride parade,” I said, rubbing it in just a little bit more.
“Okay, I get it… you hate it. Fine. I’m sending it back.”
“Yeah, you do that. Don’t worry, I’ll come up with something to wear. Something dark, brooding, and sexy as fuck. I want to look good fighting crime,” I half joked. “For now, I want to sleep.” I leaned over, kissing his temple, then walked toward the bed, falling into it face first for some blissful rest.
***
When I woke up, I felt nice and rested. I had plenty of energy and I was going to need it. I climbed out of the bed and took a piss, then came out of the bathroom to search for Jordan. He wasn’t anywhere in the warehouse, so I called him.
“Where are you at?” I asked when he answered.
“On my way back with the U-haul,” he said.
Ah, that was right… I’d told him to get one today. “Okay. I might not be here when you get back, but just start packing what you can.”
“Okay.”
“See you later.” I ended the call and booted up his laptop, opening up the search engine. I needed to look for a place where the rent was cheap. I checked out some apartments, but opted for private lofts instead. If I was going to be exiting and entering in costume, the less people having a chance to see me, the better. I settled on three locations I was going to check out. The one I wanted the most, I put first. It had a large garage door for inside parking. That was sweet as hell. No sooner than the printer spit out the paper, Jordan walked through the door.
“You’re still here. I brought food,” he said, wagging a bag I knew was filled with yummy goodness.
“What did you bring me?” I asked as he started removing the food out of the bag, putting it on the table.
“I brought you a lot of fatty, greasy shit you shouldn’t be eating.”
“Good.” I reached out, snatching one of the wrapped bundles that had the grease staining the paper. Unwrapping it, I moaned when I saw it was a gyro-burger with bacon and cheese. Shit was about to get real. I palmed that bitch and took a huge bite, savoring the mixture of flavors. “Perfect decision.” I saluted Jordan and he laughed, shaking his head. I rose and grabbed my jacket from the back of the chair.
“I’ll be back later,” I said, then took another bite.
“Be careful.”
“I will.” I left and walked to the bus stop. One of the reasons we wanted a bigger score was so we could buy a damned car. This public transportation shit wasn’t going to cut it much longer, especially not if I was trying to save a motherfucker dressed like some damn superhero. I finished my burger just when the bus pulled up. After paying my fare, I took a window seat and made sure to look away when we passed the restaurant where police were still canvasing and investigating. What happened was on the news that morning and there was a crude sketch of my face. Luckily, I was so much better-looking than the drawing, so I hoped no one would make a connection.
I also wondered if they purposely gave a bogus description of my face to throw police off. There wasn’t even a mention of another man being with me. I mean, if they were trying to protect me, I truly appreciated it. But I wasn’t going to take any chances. Moving was definitely on my books.
On the way to the first location, I called the landlord, letting him know I was on my way to take a look. So by the time I made it there, he was waiting on me. “Thanks for being able to meet me on such a short notice,” I said.
“No problem,” he replied around his stogie.
He looked like the Daddy type; leather pants, wife-beater, and beard. He was stocky and hairy, but in a bear sort of way. Jordan would give him a go. I followed behind him as he led me inside the one-story loft. This really was my first choice and if I didn’t like it, then I’d visit the others. So far, so good. It was in a loft district mixed with warehouses and not much traffic. I didn’t see many street cameras either, which was another good thing.
“Would you be opposed to me setting up extra security in the form of a password entry?” I asked.
“As long as you’re willing to install it and maintain it, no. Don’t expect me to lower the rent, though.”
“Seven-hundred and fifty dollars a month, right?”
He nodded and gestured around the loft. “As you can see, you have nice, large windows and though it doesn’t look like it from the outside, you have a second level where the bedroom is and an extra bathroom. Large, open concept. The appliances aren’t modern and I don’t have any of that granite shit in the kitchen. But the counters are made of good solid wood and everything works.”
I walked into the kitchen. He wasn’t lying, there wasn’t any flash to be seen. But at least everything was here and we didn’t have to supply our own. I continued my inspection, checking out the bathrooms. One had a shower and the other, a tub. Again, nothing fancy, but functional. I let the water run, getting the rust out of the pipes a little.
“Water and heat are included,” the landlord called out.
Yeah, I bet. In this neighborhood, one couldn’t be too picky. The crime rate was high as fuck. I was half expecting to get robbed while checking the place out. I kind of didn’t want to move here for Jordan’s sake, but he’d only argue that this was exactly where we needed to be. Where I could clean up the streets, and he’d be right. I finished my inspection of the place and met back up with the landlord.
“I noticed there isn’t a washer and dryer, can we supply our own?” I asked. We didn’t have any at the moment, but I certainly wanted them.
The landlord nodded. “There’s a place to install them in the kitchen by the pantry.”
I took a quick look at the cubby area and returned to him.
“When can we move in?”
“We?” he asked, one eyebrow cocked.
“My friend and I, we’re roomies.”
“Just roomies?”
“Sometimes we fuck, is that going to be a problem? Our money is green and has probably been up some stripper’s ass just like everybody else’s,” I remarked with probably more attitude than what was needed.
“Hey, calm down. I don’t care who you fuck, it’s strictly from a business point of view for me. Roommates tend to break up, then paying rent becomes an issue. If you were a married couple, I’d feel better, but I’ll let it go. Also, I’ll have to go up a hundred and fifty dollars for more than one tenant,” he said.
Shit, nine-hundred dollars a month? Looked like Jordan was going to have to get a legit job to cover the costs. Me, maybe I would get lucky with my new line of work. “Fine, not a problem. So that’s what…eighteen hundred for the first month to cover rent and security?”
He nodded. “Once you pay that, you can move in whenever you want. Any changes you make to the loft needs my approval, though.”
“Of course. Don’t go anywhere because we’re planning on moving in tonight,” I said.
“As long as you come with the money, it’s all good to me.”
I thanked him, then left to head back home.
“Did you find someplace?” Jordan asked as soon as I walked in.
“Perfect location, too. Okay, let’s get this fucking truck loaded up. Oh, we’re going to need to pull eighteen-hundred bucks out for the landlord.”
“That’s steep,” Jordan commented.
“It is what it is. This place was my first choice, so trust me, you’ll love it. It’s located in the ass crack of the city and it’s surrounded by pieces of shit.” I grabbed my favorite chair, lifting it onto my shoulder, then loaded it onto the U-Haul. I wished we could have backed this into our place. That way, we could have packed up in private. As it was, I had to be careful how I loaded the truck with people being able to see me. Didn’t want them to know how strong I was. Even so, I thought I caught the eye of a particularly nosey woman. She was watching us and eating what looked like a bowl of cereal. Jesus, bitch, get your own business.
I went back inside. “Jordan, one of the things I did like about this new place is the fact that there is a large doorway entrance that is big enough to drive a truck through. That means when we do get a new car, we could park it inside our home. That’s going to be so fucking awesome.”
“Yeah, that is perfect. Also, we won’t have to worry about someone stealing it. I loaded most of the little things already,” Jordan told me.
He was obviously proud of his contribution. I was too, I hated tedious work. Speaking of tedious work, the twenty grand was only going to last us so long. We needed real, steady employment.
“Help me with this sofa,” I said.
Jordan scoffed. “Really?”
I pointed at the sofa. “We have a nosey neighbor watching us move. The last thing I want to do is give her something to talk about by walking out of here with the sofa over my head.” I’d spotted the nosey bitch twice since I’d loaded the table and chairs.
“Fine,” Jordan conceded, and he helped me with the sofa.
I broke down the bed and we loaded that together too. We didn’t have much by way of belongings, so it didn’t take us too long to get everything on the truck.
“All right, let’s get the fuck out of here,” I said, walking out of the place.
“We need to drop the keys off in the landlord’s mailbox,” Jordan reminded me.
“Okay, we can do that on the way to our new place.” I climbed into the driver’s seat and he took his place in the passenger’s seat. My little sidekick.
Chapter Four
We dropped off the keys, paid the new landlord, signed the lease under false names, and now we were almost finished moving everything in. Jordan brought in the little stuff while I set up the bed. If all went like I planned, we might be giving it a workout tonight. About an hour later, we were as settled in as we were going to be for now. I’d gone out and grabbed some Chinese cuisine and now we were just sitting on the sofa like two beached whales, watching TV.
“Our landlord is kind of hot,” Jordan said out of nowhere, but I wasn’t surprised he thought so.
“Is he that Daddy you’ve been looking for? I don’t think he’s gay, but he may be a Daddy,” I said.
Jordan shrugged. “I don’t know. He’s just my type.”
I snorted and looked at him. “Oh, and what am I?”
“An arrogant prick with an amazing body and a beautiful cock who also happens to have superhuman stamina.”
“Well, I can’t argue with the truth.” I smirked.
He cackled and slapped my Mongolian beef-filled belly, hitting solid muscle. “Daaamn.”
“Yeah, hot. I know.”
“‘Arrogant Prick’, that should be your secret identity name,” Jordan jested, then laughed.
“Fuck you,” I retorted. “Besides, I came up with the perfect name earlier today.”
“Oh yeah, what is it?”
“Shadow Hunter,” I said, smiling.
He frowned. “You sound like a character from a Capcom video game.”
I smacked my lips. “Your nerdy ass would say some shit like that. What’s wrong with it, not superhero-y enough for you?”
“If you were a ninja, sure. But you’re going to be getting all up and personal in people’s faces.”
I scoffed. “Not all of the time. I have no problem sniping a bitch from afar.”
“Oooo-kay, I’m sure you don’t. Another reason why I don’t like that name is it’s too close to ShadowHawk. People may think you copied off of her.”
I smacked my lips. “Yeeeaah, I can see why you’d say that. I wasn’t even thinking about her when I came up with it. Damn it.” Well, there went that plan. ShadowHawk was a chick that prowled the streets of Van Buren City. She was relatively new to the whole superhero scene. First Crimson Fury came out of the closet and inspired god knows how many other people out there, but only a handful are starting to make names for themselves. From what I knew of her, she bagged and dropped off bad guys or left them for the police to find. I did know one thing, she was pretty impressive with a bow and arrow.
“Got any suggestions then?” I asked Jordon, getting back on track.
“Hmmmm, you need a name as bold and striking as you are.” He sat up and turned to look at my tattoo on the inside of my bicep. “This is it.”
“What?”
“Cobra. It’s a badass snake and strikes fast and in your face. You don’t fuck with a cobra.”
I turned my arm slightly, checking out the tattoo I had done several years ago of a king cobra’s head with his fangs bared. It was a fierce animal, that was for sure, and the name was catchy. Short and precise.
“I like it. Cool. Cobra… okay, next thing I need to do is find the right outfit—and no, your services will not be needed since your fashion sense cannot be trusted.”
He pouted, crossing his arms over his chest. “I thought it was a good idea.”
I shook my head. “I knew you were going to pick some colorful bullshit, even after I told you not to. You still like the original X-men costumes from the comics and cartoons. I liked the new ones from the movies.”
“I do have taste,” he argued.
“There-there.” I kissed his temple and he playfully moved his head. That was when I grabbed him and forced my kisses on him while he laughed and attempted to bat me away. Of course, one thing led to another, and we ended up on the bed completely naked with my cock in his ass. He was on all fours in front of me and I had a sturdy grip on his hip and shoulder, giving him the good shit. Jordan was gripping the sheets in both hands as he moaned and panted in ecstasy.
“I’m cumming,” he cried out.
I reached around him, grabbing his dick to give him a little extra help. He cried out as his cock expanded in my fist, then blasted away.
“Yeah, soak th
e sheets with your load,” I groaned, smiling as I watched him cum.
His asshole spasmed around my cock and I quaked as I felt my own climax nearing. “Ohhh yeah… gonna shoot.” I pulled out and ripped the condom off. I jerked my dick three times before my cock exploded in a white gush all over his back and chocolate ass cheeks. Mmmm, so delicious. My body twitched as I drained my dick to the last drop, then I leaned down and licked my cream off his buns while he moaned in pleasure.
Once he was all clean, I collapsed on the bed next to him. Sure, I could probably go three more rounds at least, but he was through. Already, his eyes were closed, so I let him sleep. I laid in bed, thinking about my first mission. That slimy corporate bastard. I needed to pay him a visit. I got up and went to Jordan’s laptop, logging on. I needed to get the right outfit that was going to make me look badass and sexy at the same time. I wanted to leave an impression.
I scoured the internet, looking at stores for about three hours until I found the perfect fucking ensemble. I ordered five of them, which cost me a little over a grand. I know I told Jordan I’d be mindful of the money, but this had been his idea. I needed extra suits in case one got ruined. This was just a smart investment. I ordered a few more things to go along with it, then I turned in for the night.

“They hired you right there on the spot?” I asked, shocked. It had been a week since we moved into our new home. Jordan hadn’t wasted any time looking for steady employment. Fucking overachiever. Still, I was impressed.
Jordan nodded. “Apparently, an Associate’s degree in Cyber Security Programming is good enough to put me into their IT department. It was a long interview process, but I knew my shit, so I got the job.”
“Well, that’s good news for us. Does it pay well? I mean, can we live off your salary?”
“It’s thirty grand a year, before taxes, so it’s best we don’t push it,” Jordan said.
“I guess your job knows your real identity?”
He shook his head. “Look at who you’re talking to, of course they don’t. Anyway, it’s kind of a distance away, so we may need to get two cars.”
