Jen's Journey Page 11

Even though they hadn’t shared the news of her pregnancy with anyone yet, her body had already begun making some serious changes. She’d ask Kent and Kyle to hold off a bit because she hadn’t wanted to intrude on Gracie’s moment in the spotlight. And then when Gracie had been so ill, Tobi hadn’t wanted to flaunt how wonderful she felt fantastic in her sweet friend’s face. But the time was rapidly approaching when she wouldn’t be able to conceal the secret. Damn, being short is a pain in my ass. In the back of her mind, she knew her bump was growing awfully fast for a first time pregnancy and she wondered if the West family’s twin genetics wasn’t about to make another showing.

Snapping herself out of her reverie, Tobi hurried upstairs. She wondered how long she’d been lost in her thoughts because one of the showers had already been shut off, but she hadn’t noticed when that happened. The rooftop patio was one of her favorite places and she appreciated her men choosing it for their time together tonight. She wasn’t sure exactly how the two of them always seemed to know exactly what she needed, but she made it a point to thank God each and every day for the gift. Peeling off the short silk robe she’d put on after her shower, Tobi felt like her skin was tingling all over as she settled herself back on the lounger. Imagining Kent and Kyle’s touch had her almost panting with need as she placed her bare feet flat on the floor on either side of the lounger’s frame. The pose completely exposed her sex to the view of anyone coming through the door. Knowing her bare pussy was the first thing her men would see sent a ripple of excitement through her and just following Kent’s simple command was enough to push her toward the submissive state of mind Tobi knew amped up the intensity of her orgasms. Good God Gertie, I’m already so horny I’m about to jump out of my skin. Oh crapity crap, I read about this. Pregnancy hormones make some women crave sex. Well, if my whole pregnancy is going to be like this, it’s a good thing I’ve got two husbands. She’d tried to suppress the happy giggle that bubbled up, but knew she hadn’t been entirely successful and didn’t really care.

Kent hadn’t been terribly surprised to see Tobi still standing in their living room downstairs when he’d gotten out of the shower, but he’d been shocked that he was able to walk past her without her noticing. That sort of inattention to her surroundings was something they really needed to address with her because her safety was always foremost in their minds. She’d actually seemed even more distracted recently and he wondered if that fact could be related to her pregnancy. He made a mental note to check on it before making a federal case of her lack of awareness. The idea that she might be even more vulnerable while expecting terrified him and he knew Kyle would be equally worried.

He’d positioned himself in the shadows and watched as she took in the rooftop patio. His brother had left the design of the entire apartment to him, but Kyle had claimed control of the roof and the results had been incredible. Kent knew that Kyle was pleased it had fast become one of Tobi’s favorite places to relax. The fireplace was perfect to take the chill out of the air and they were working on a way to cool a small portion of the area as well. They wanted Tobi to be able to enjoy her sanctuary during the scorching Texas summers as well. There wasn’t any doubt they would eventually build a larger home closer to the river, but those plans were far enough in the future they planned to make the modifications to the roof as a surprise for their sweet wife.

Kent felt his brother step up beside him and smiled because Kyle had used the same secret entrance Kent had used earlier. Tobi didn’t know about the small passageway and they weren’t planning to tell her just yet because it had given them several opportunities to observe her without her knowledge. One of the incredible things about Tobi was that if she was going to act out or misbehave, she would do it right in front of you, there didn’t seem to be a deceitful bone in her body. He and Kyle had compared notes and were both amazed they never had to wonder who she was when they weren’t looking, because she was one of the most genuine women they’d ever met.

“She loves the garden and I can’t tell you how much that pleases me.” Kent smiled at Kyle and nodded.

“That she does. Look how wet her pussy is, you can see her cream glistening from here. I do want to check to see if the increase in her distraction is a side-effect of pregnancy because I walked right past her in the living room and she didn’t notice me.” Kyle’s eyes went wide and Kent heard the growl of frustration vibrate through in his brother’s chest. “I’m not even going to mention it to her until I do some checking. I might give the good docs a call as well.”

Kyle nodded and then said, “Let’s go. I’m tired and I want to fuck her before we rest. We left her alone all evening to care for Gracie and she deserves a reward for that. Fortunately for us, our ideas about rewards happen to run the same track.”

Kent grinned as they stepped from the shadows, “Indeed they do and that is a fortunate coincidence indeed.” They had already agreed to hold off on taking her ass and pussy at the same time until after they’d visited with Brian Bennett or Kirk Evans. Both men would be working together serving as Tobi’s and Gracie’s obstetricians and the four of them had discussed all the reasons having friends and Doms taking care of their women was a good idea. However, the bottom line was both men were outstanding, both professionally and personally, and knowing their wives and children were in good hands was what was most important. Of course there is the added benefit of having a doctor that understands what we mean when we threaten to paddle their asses for not taking good enough care of themselves.

Kyle stepped into Tobi’s line of sight and smiled when her eyes went wide. He could already tell her mind was racing as she tried to figure out how she’d missed them coming through the door right in front of her. “Kitten, is there a problem? You look confused.” He tried to keep the amusement out of his voice and wasn’t sure how successful he’d been.

“Umm, no, Sir. Not really a problem, I don’t think so anyway. But, well, I was wondering how you got up here without me seeing you. Because, I’ve been watching and trying really hard to pay attention. Even though I seem to be struggling with that a lot lately.” The last sentence had been so quiet he might have missed it if he hadn’t been looking right at her. She was chewing on her bottom lip, which she only did she was deep in thought or worried about something. Time to get that sharp mind focused on something else.

“Well, I think your focus challenges are something we need to address, but I’d like to leave that for another day if you don’t mind. Right now your Masters have another priority.” He paused and watched as her pulse and respiration rates both notched up. “You see, kitten, we were both very grateful that you took such good care of Gracie this evening. Your help was critical in that it made it much easier for us do our jobs this evening.”

“It also freed Jax and Micah up to make the arrangements to get Jen and the McCall brothers headed this way as quickly and safely as possible. There is quite a story to tell about all of that, but that is also for another time. Because right now we’re planning to reward you, sweetness.” While Kent had been talking, Kyle had moved to Tobi’s side and knelt down next to her and was running his hand over the soft swell of her abdomen. According to the preliminary blood work she was only about six weeks along, but she already had a small mound that would be difficult to conceal much longer. He was already beginning to wonder if maybe there was more than one blessing hiding inside this sweet mama.

Moving his hands up to cup her breasts, he noticed they were already changing as well and the differences fascinated him. “Your body is already changing in amazing ways, kitten. It is going to be a joy to take this journey with you. And I’m grateful you aren’t experiencing the same horrible nausea Gracie has been facing.” He was rolling her nipples gently between his fingers because they had already discovered the increased sensitivity a couple of weeks earlier. When she arched her back and moaned he chuckled. “You take my breath away, love. Knowing our child is growing in
you is a total turn on. And my brother and I both know your tendency to worry about things, so we’ll be reminding you regularly how beautiful you are until we’re sure you believe it.”

Kent had taken his position between her legs and was using his thumbs to separate her folds. “Her pussy lips are so swollen and their color is the most beautiful deep rose. It’s easy to see why the ancients compared a woman’s sex to the flower of love.” Kyle could see Kent begin licking her even though he kept his eyes on Tobi’s. That’s it, brother, send her over quickly so we can play. I can’t wait to sink into her warmth. Kent pulled back just a bit and spoke, “Her pussy has a slightly different taste now, sweeter and her juices are thicker. I know you are close, baby, and I want you to come as soon as you are ready. And don’t hold back, we want to hear your shouts as you find your release.” With those words Kent set his mouth back into her sweet pussy and Kyle leaned forward to begin tonguing her nipples one after the other. Within seconds Tobi was shouting her release and hearing their names on her lips as she came was almost enough to make Kyle come against his own belly. He hadn’t lost control of his release since he’d been a teen, but it seemed to threaten regularly since Tobi had entered their life.

Kent moved up Tobi’s torso quickly and slid his cock into her channel just as Kyle moved up by her head so that his cock was bouncing against her cheek. “Take me into your mouth, kitten. Suck me in the same way Kent is fucking you.” Forcing her to concentrate on matching her movements to Kent’s would hopefully distract her enough to let them all enjoy the ride into heaven. It was obvious to him that she was even more responsive now and from what he’d been reading, some women experienced a sharply increased sex drive during pregnancy. If they were lucky enough that Tobi was one of those women, they just might end up with a dozen kids.

Feeling the warmth of her mouth as she sucked hard enough to hollow her cheeks, Kyle felt his eyes roll back in his head. “Holy fuck, kitten. Your mouth is equal measures of heaven and hell. I’m sure heaven can’t be any better than this, and I’m having a hell of a time holding on to my control when it feels this good.”

“You better be getting close, brother, because her pussy is torturing me. She is so damned hot and, good God, she is so tight I’m not going to last.” Their twin connection kicked in and their movements automatically synchronized until the actions of each individual became part of a larger dance that had been choreographed over the eons.

Kyle was sliding in and out of her mouth, pushing a bit farther with each stroke until he was sliding down her throat before pulling back. He could tell his brother was starting to go over the edge so he gave Tobi’s nipples a quick squeeze and said, “Come for us, kitten.” His words hadn’t even been finished when Kyle felt the vibrations of her scream as the orgasm she’d been hovering over took her into its depths with cresting waves. Kent followed her in the time it had taken him to sink into her body as far as he could go. Kyle pushed deep and felt his seed pulsing down her throat in jets so hot he could feel the change in temperature inside her mouth. Shit. We may not survive this woman. I’m not sure but what she may have just incinerated a good portion of my brain cells.

  Chapter Fourteen

Jax had held Gracie on his lap cuddled against his chest as Micah drove them home and then he’d carried her into the house and she’d barely stirred in his arms. After lowering her gently to the bed, he and Micah stood shoulder to shoulder just gazing down at the wonder laying so peacefully before them. She looked so pale and the dark bruising under her eyes was evidence of how little rest she was getting. When they’d asked her several days ago to describe what she was feeling she’d told them to think about the worst case of motion sickness they’d ever experienced and then double it. Both he and Micah had groaned because it didn’t matter how many times you were at sea, every sailor knew there would be one or two excursions that made you violently ill. And the odd thing was, you often had no way of knowing when it would hit or why one trip was different from another. The one thing you did know was that it sucked ass.

Just as her eyes fluttered open, Jax heard Micah’s phone vibrate in his pocket. His friend glanced at the screen and smiled. “Hey, Brian. No, she is right here, she just opened her eyes and we haven’t had a chance to ask her how she’d feeling.” As if reacting to Micah’s words her eyes flew open and she scrambled from the bed and ran into the bathroom. Even through the closed door they could hear the unmistakable sounds of retching. Jax quickly moved into the bathroom to help Gracie, leaving Micah to talk to the doctor. As Jax held her hair and pressed a cool cloth to her forehead he felt lower than a slug’s belly because of the hell she was enduring. Finally spent, she curled into a ball on the floor and begged him not to move her. When Micah entered with ice chips she accepted a few but didn’t want to raise her head.

“Baby, Doc Brian is on his way over here. He knew you wouldn’t want to be taken in to their clinic or the hospital, and truthfully, we’d like to avoid that as well because of the safety concerns we have after what happened with Jen. So he’s bringing supplies with him and he or Kirk will be staying until you are settled or we can arrange for a nurse to be here with you.”

Watching her tears roll in a silent testament over her pale temples before dropping soundlessly to the tile floor almost gutted him. Jax knew he and Micah were over their heads and he wondered if by chance Lilly West and her husbands had made it home this evening. Leaving Gracie in Micah’s care, Jax moved to the living room and dialed the West family matriarch. Feeling a wave of relief when she answered, he quickly explained the situation and felt relief wash through him when she’d promised to be right over despite the fact it was three o’clock in the morning. It wouldn’t matter that they only lived a half mile apart, Jax knew at least one of her husbands would accompany her and if he were betting—he’d put his money on both.

An hour later, Gracie had showered, eaten a little bit of soup, which had miraculously stayed with her, and was sleeping comfortably. Brian had examined her and determined that she was just suffering from an extreme case of morning sickness. Jax thought that diagnosis was an understatement considering she was sick anytime she was awake. But Brian had merely smiled and patted him on the shoulder. Jax had wanted to growl in frustration at his friend’s attempt to mollify him. Thinking back over the times he’d heard his mother, sister, Tobi, and others complain about being treated in exactly the same way, Jax now had a much clearer understanding of their frustration.

The small pill Brian had given Gracie had done wonders. When their little mama had balked at taking a drug, Brian had patiently explained that sometimes a prescribed medication was preferable to a mother not being able to keep food or drinks down. The effect had been almost immediate and so dramatic that Gracie had declared Zofran was her new best friend.

After Lilly and her husbands left, Jax leaned back in his chair and looked over at Brian Bennett. “What’s happening with you guys and Regi?” He didn’t see any reason to beat around the bush. Just as well ask what he wanted to know straight out.

Brian sighed and then chuckled, “Hell if I know. I see the desire in her eyes, but something is holding her back. Truthfully? I have the impression she doesn’t feel worthy of being loved and for the life of me I can’t figure out why. Short of hiring an investigator to find out everything in her background I’m not sure we’ll ever know. And neither Kirk nor I are willing to go that far for several reasons. But the bottom line is, if she doesn’t trust us enough to share her feelings we probably don’t have any future together anyway.” The defeat in Brian’s voice was gut wrenching to hear, particularly when both he and Jax knew exactly what the secret was that Regi was holding back. Jax was tempted to share the information even though it would be an enormous betrayal of confidence since they’d only uncovered the information as part of her pre-employment screening. But in the end, Brian was right, if she wasn’t willing to trust them, building a one-sided relationship would never work. They didn’t work in the vanill
a world, and they damned well didn’t work in D/s relationships.

Jax was surprised when Micah leaned forward and spoke quietly. “I want you to know I am keenly aware of the implications of what I’m about to share. As the head of security for The Prairie Winds Club I know just about everything there is to know about every member of the club as well as the employees. I consider that information privileged and confidential—always.” Micah took a deep breath and then continued, “Even if you investigated, you might not find the information because it is sealed and buried pretty deep. Our military contacts made it possible for us to uncover what we needed to know. Without going into detail, I want you to know that Regi witnessed something that a kid should never have to see. Hell, nobody should ever go through what she did. But it’s what she did afterward…her incredible courage and commitment to doing the right thing that I wish she would use as a measure of her value as an adult.”

Micah ran his hand through his hair in frustration, “I am only telling you this much because I know as physicians, you and Kirk understand the importance of confidentiality. And I truly think Regi is nearing a crossroads in her life. She has run about as long as she can and the time is quickly approaching where she is going to have to face her past and change the way she views it—and I’d like to see you and Kirk be there to catch her when she falls. Because everything she believes about herself will fall away and she’s going to crash and burn. She’s going to need someone who believes in her to open her eyes to what the rest of us already know about her.”
