“No problem. Thanks for coming by.”
“No, thank you,” Paul said. “We saw the photos you took of Derek and Sam. They were amazing.”
Rain blushed. “I’m glad you thought so.” The pair had posed in some extremely intimate positions, but Rain wasn’t surprised they’d shared their photos. The couple had asked Rain if he wanted to join them some time. After stammering out he doubted Greg would want to share they’d left quickly with much apologizing. Still, their photos had turned out great if Rain did say so himself.
“I think opening a studio here was a brilliant idea,” Paul gushed.
“It has gone over well,” Rain agreed. Greg had opened the studio to keep an eye on Rain. He’d told Rain as much. Apparently if Greg had to be at his club to oversee things he wanted Rain near and since Rain didn’t exactly like to sit around and twiddle his thumbs they’d worked out a compromise.
The couple waved goodbye and went on their way.
“Done for the evening?” Greg asked, stepping into the studio.
“Pretty much. I’m going to weed out the photos tomorrow.” It had been a long day with four sessions. Rain tried to get the best photos to suit each couple or in one case, trio. He didn’t judge, he only tried to match everyone photographically.
“Good. I have some news for you.”
“Yeah?” Rain continued walking around his studio and tidying up. He hated to leave his equipment haphazardly tossed around.
“Dalrey was killed in prison today.”
Rain froze. “Really?” He’d had constant nightmares about the guy getting out and coming after him again.
“Some guard accidentally released him into the general population. One of the people he had put away shanked him.”
“Huh, well accidents do happen.” Rain watched Greg carefully but his lover didn’t meet his eyes, not once. “Let’s go home. I could use a celebratory bubble bath.”
They’d bought a new house two miles from the club that came with a spa tub. Rain couldn’t get enough of it.
“Excellent idea.” Greg kissed Rain’s forehead. “A night of relaxation sounds like just the thing. Did I mention I received a velvet tassel whip in the mail today?”
Rain groaned. His cock hardened in his pants as he followed his lover out of the club. Stupid cock didn’t know what was best for it.
“Don’t worry, love. You’ll get to come eventually,” Greg tossed over his shoulder as he sauntered out the door.
Rain didn’t comment. His world had narrowed to the sight of his Dom’s leather-clad ass. Yep, tonight would be a stellar night.
The End.
About the Author
Amber Kell has made a career out of daydreaming. It has been a lifelong habit she practices diligently as shown by her complete lack of focus on anything not related to her fantasy world building.
When she told her husband what she wanted to do with her life he told her to go have fun.
During those seconds she isn't writing she remembers she has children who humor her with games of 'what if' and let her drag them to foreign lands to gather inspiration. Her youngest confided in her that he wants to write because he longs for a website and an author name—two things apparently necessary to be a proper writer.
Despite her husband's insistence she doesn't drink enough to be a true literary genius she continues to spin stories of people falling happily in love and staying that way.
She is thwarted during the day by a traffic jam of cats on the stairway and a puppy who insists on walks, but she bravely perseveres.
