Trey chuckled and nodded, then took her hand in his and pulled her close. Before the preacher could say a word, he was kissing her. The crowd laughed and clapped.
“You’re supposed to wait until this is over to do that.” She smiled and held onto him.
“Says who?” he asked, holding her close.
“I do.” The preacher chuckled.
“Sorry.” Trey smiled, then leaned in and whispered, “Not sorry,” which made her laugh even more. “I love you. I just couldn’t wait until the end to kiss you one more time.” The entire crowd sighed before the preacher even started the ceremony.
