Thank you to all of my readers. I hope you enjoyed this book as much as you did MIRROR X. My ultimate goal is to write thought-provoking and page-turning novels that will keep readers wanting more, and I do my best to accomplish that dream. To my mom and dad, my sister Korina, and all of my relatives, thank you for your continued support and love. I also want to thank all of my co-workers, especially the English Department, for their encouragement and inspiration. Ryan, thank you for being such a great friend and someone I can count on to help me with tag lines, bios, and blurbs. Robin, you are an amazing person and an awesome editor. Thank you for everything! Entangled Publishing—you rock! Kathleen, I couldn’t ask for a better agent. I couldn’t do this without you. And lastly, I’d like to thank my husband, John, and my son, Kyle. I love you both so much. You make my world as perfect as it can be.

  About the Author

Karri Thompson, a.k.a. sci-fi freak, football fanatic, and rock-concert junkie, grew up in California, enjoying San Diego’s awesome weather and beautiful beaches. She attended SDSU where she earned her BA in English, MA in education, and high-school teaching credential. She’s a wife, mother, and English teacher in her hometown, and when she’s not writing, editing, or cooking amazing meals for her family, she’s probably watching reality T.V.

  Mirror X

At the age of seventeen, I was put into a cryogenic tube and frozen. Now, more than a thousand years later, I’ve finally been awakened to a more serene and peaceful future. Or have I? Everyone is young. Everyone is banded and tracked. And everyone is keeping secrets. Not even Michael Bennett, the cute geneticist in the hospital, is being honest with me. When I’m told only I can save the human race from extinction, it’s clear my freeze didn’t avoid a dreadful fate. It only delayed the horror…

  Nexis

  a novel by A.L. Davroe

A Natural Born amongst genetically-altered Aristocrats, all Ella ever wanted was to be like everyone else. Augmented and perfect. Then…the crash. Devastated by her father’s death and struggling with her new physical limitations, Ella is terrified to learn she is not just alone, but little more than a prisoner. Her only escape is to lose herself in Nexis, the hugely popular virtual reality game her father created. In Nexis she meets Guster, who offers Ella guidance, friendship…and something more. But Nexis isn’t quite the game everyone thinks it is. And it’s been waiting for Ella.

  Gravity

  by Melissa West

In the future, only one rule will matter: Don’t. Ever. Peek. Ari Alexander just broke that rule and saw the last person she expected hovering above her bed — arrogant Jackson Locke. Jackson issues a challenge: help him, or everyone on Earth will die. Giving Jackson the information he needs will betray her father and her country, but keeping silent will start a war.

  Obsidian

a Lux novel by Jennifer L. Armentrout

There’s an alien next door. And with his looming height and eerie green eyes, he’s hot…until he opens his mouth. He’s infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, he lights me up with a big fat bull’s-eye. Turns out he has a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal his abilities and the only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to him until my alien mojo fades. If I don’t kill him first, that is.

  Through Fire & Sea

There are four mirror worlds: fire, water, air, and stone. And each has a magic of its own. Holly resides in the Water World. When she’s called by Holly, her twin “Otherself” from the Fire World, she nearly drowns. Suddenly the world Holly thought she knew is filled with secrets, magic, and deadly peril. For a malevolent force seeks to destroy the mirror worlds. And the only way for Holly and Leah to save them is to shatter every rule they’ve ever known…
