“And thank you for making me part of it. For bringing me home,” Edie said, snuggling close.

His silver-gray gaze mirrored all the joy she felt now and hoped to feel for the rest of her days with him.

As the bagpipes wailed out the first notes of the reel, her husband smiled down at her. “Are you ready to greet your new family and clan, Mistress of Riddick?”

She gave him a cheeky grin. “Lead on, Master. Lead on.”

  Dear Reader,

Thank you so much for reading How to Marry a Royal Highlander, the final book in my Renegade Royals series. My heroes, the illegitimate sons of England’s royal princes, have finally claimed their heroines and rightful places within the world of the English ton.

But is this really the end of the Renegade Royals? I’m happy to report that it’s not! I’ll be continuing their adventures in a new spin-off series, one with a bit of a twist. This time, I’ll be telling the stories of the female Renegade Royals, the illegitimate daughters of England’s princes who must fight even harder than their male cousins to find love and happiness in British society.

The new series is called The Improper Princesses, and the first story features a remarkable young woman named Gillian Dryden. Gillian is the daughter of the Duke of Cumberland, and was raised in Italy after her mother married an Italian count. Gillian loved her stepfather, who treated her like his own child. After he was murdered by bandits, Gillian turned into something of a vigilante, determined to avenge his death.

Think of a Regency Sydney Bristow from Alias!

Needless to say, Gillian’s dangerous activities are hardly considered proper. Along with Sir Dominic Hunter, the leader of the Renegade Royals, Gillian’s family decides it’s time for her to return to England and find a respectable husband. As you can imagine, that’s something of a challenge. Not only is Gillian a wild child, her scandalous background makes her a less than attractive marriage prospect. No man in his right mind would want to marry her!

Enter Charles Leverton, the Duke of Walcot. He’s brainy, sophisticated, and powerful, and is the perfect man to tutor Gillian and help her become a proper lady. Needless to say, Walcot is horrified by the prospect—until he meets Gillian. She may be wild and unconventional, but she’s also beautiful and smart, and the most intriguing woman he’s ever met. Gillian may resist his efforts to turn her into a perfect lady, but what Walcot wants, Walcot generally gets.

My Favorite Princess will be released in 2016. I’ll be updating my website with news, contests, and excerpts from the new series over the next few months, so be sure to stop by. You can find me at www.vanessakellyauthor.com.

I’d like to thank my readers for their support of my Renegade Royals—it means the world to me. I hope you’ll join my Improper Princesses for even more adventures!

  Happy reading!

  Best,

  Vanessa
