“Right back at you. Thanks for a good start to Christmas,” he mumbles as he nuzzles his nose into my hair.
I can tell he’s about to fall asleep, so I kiss him quickly then curl up into him.
Tonight has taught me a lot.
We’re all stronger than we give ourselves credit for.

We’re lucky to have a circle of friends and family like we do. Some people never experience what we have in their entire life.
