It was time to get to work. They had seized a lot of Gray territory and it was time to consolidate their gains. He felt his heart lift a little as he saw Daffyd come onto the bridge, no doubt eager to get back to Govi Darkhan and pry into the secrets of the Gray wormhole program.
Out here, the future was what you made of it and they had a hells of a lot to work with.

A few years ago, Chris Nuttall was kind enough to let me write in the Empire of Ashes (Imperium Cicernus) shared universe. I wrote Rebels and Patriots and, after incorporating some very helpful insights from Mr. Nuttall, it went live in August of 2014.
I have since written sequels to Rebels and Patriots and I’ve decided to list them as sequels of the R&P series, rather than keeping them under the Imperium Cicernus umbrella. This is partly to leave room for new writers in the IC universe and partly because it can get confusing trying to explain that my series was #’s 3, 8, 11 etc.… of the IC numbering system.
By branching off into a new series, we get:
Rebels and Patriots – Imperium Cicernus #3 / Rebels and Patriots #1
Beyond the Rim – Rebels and Patriots #2
The Gray Matter – Rebels and Patriots #3
Etc.…
