Two Dirty Bosses Page 10

“Good,” he said in a gruff voice. “Don’t control yourself. I want to feel you lose control. I want to feel this little pussy trembling on my cock.”

His words only fueled me more, making me whimper, especially when he started to rub my clit with his fingers. His hips sped up and he started pounding into me harder, burying his cock inside of me over and over. My breathing was heavy as I took him, clenching tight around him. I looked down, watching his cock move in and out of my pussy, the sight of it glistening and thick as it stretched me out. It only made me hotter to watch me take him, and my hips were moving beyond my control, desperate for more and more.

“Xavier,” I breathed. “This is wrong.”

“Yes,” he said, nodding, leaning down to bite my lip. “Yes, it is.”

“Why does it feel so good?”

“Because your pussy is mine,” he said, kissing me once, then again as his fingers straddled my clit to rub the sensitive spots around the side. I squirmed against his hand, my lips parting in a silent moan. I felt myself climbing to dizzying heights, about to come, my pussy throbbing. He pulled out then, stopped rubbing me.

“Do you want to come?” he asked. I nodded. “Say it.”

“I want to come,” I said, not even hesitating. “I’m ready.”

He slid back inside of me and my eyes rolled back with pleasure as he started to fuck me again.

“You know what I like about you?” he asked, not rubbing my clit, moving slowly so my pleasure started to grow again.

  “What?” I breathed.

“I like that you’re willing to beg. I want you to beg me to let you come.”

I shook my head, but wrapped my legs around his hips, pulling him deeper. My breathing was growing ragged again, my heart pounding as I felt the pleasure build within every part of my body. He started to rub my clit again for only a few seconds at a time, just enough to get me up there, just enough to leave me frustrated when he stopped.

  “Stop it,” I protested.

He grinned at me, shaking his head as he started to speed up again, pounding into my hungry, needy pussy.

  “Say it,” he repeated.

“Please let me come,” I said, the words erupting from my lips. “I can’t—I can’t take it anymore.”

“Yes, baby,” he said, his voice a low purr as he started to rub my clit again, touching it with expert fingers. “Good girl. Come for me. I want to feel your little pussy gushing all over my cock.”

It didn’t take me but a second to do what he said. My body erupted, gushing on him just the way he wanted. I rocked against him, riding it out as I came and came. He pulled out of me then rather than finishing, staring at me as I caught my breath.

“I’m sorry,” he said after a moment.

  “For what?” I asked him.

“For being such a fucking dick.”

I laughed and his face broke into a grin, not sexy or teasing, but genuine.

“It’s nice to see you smile,” I said to him, touching his cheek. “You should do it more often.”

He nuzzled my cheek, kissing it softly in a way that surprised me. I felt my heart flutter when he did it and was about to open my mouth when I heard the front door open.

“Shit,” I said, scrambling out of bed, but it was too late. Louis walked into the bedroom and when he saw us both there naked, he raised an eyebrow. I was suddenly flooded with shame, but the look on his face wasn’t angry.

“Louis,” Xavier said, sliding out of bed, starting to get dressed.

“Hi,” said Louis, looking at us. “Did I interrupt something?”

“No, we’re, uh—we’re finished,” Xavier said, pulling his shirt over his head. He glanced over at me. “I’ll see you tomorrow,” he said, and I nodded as he left Louis and me behind.

  “I’m sorry,” I said.

Louis shook his head. “I knew you had something with Xavier before I got into this,” he said. “I’m not angry at you.”

“Don’t be angry at him, either,” I said.

He laughed. “No, him I am very angry at.”

  “Why him and not me?”

He sighed. “I talked to him today. He knows—he knows exactly how I feel about you. And still he came over.”

I didn’t say anything, but stared at him, feeling desperate to fix things. I was so messed up—so mixed up in my feelings that it felt almost hard to breathe. I wanted them both so badly it hurt, yet the thought of coming between them made me feel so guilty it was giving me an ache in my stomach.

“Louis, you can’t—you can’t end your friendship with Xavier because of me,” I said. He didn’t say anything, but came to me, wrapping his arms around my waist. He kissed my neck softly, then my jaw, then my lips.

“I love you, Victoria,” he said, looking into my eyes.

I didn’t answer him, couldn’t find the words, though his made my heart flutter in my chest. I kissed him in response and we fell into bed together, not fucking but just lying in each other’s arms. I wanted to know what he was thinking, if he was upset or if he was truly just angry with Xavier. It broke my heart to think about it, and I knew I had to come up with a plan to make things better between them, even if it meant losing one or both of them in the process.

I fell asleep early, before Louis, wrapped in his arms. I didn’t wake up until the window shattered in my bedroom, the glass flying inward as it scattered across the bed.

“What the fuck?” Louis said, jumping instantly awake. He flew to the window, despite being bare-footed.

“What happened?” I asked him, sitting up in bed.

“There’s a man out there. He’s just standing there. I think he threw something through the window.”

“Who is it?” I asked, slipping out of bed, ignoring the glass beneath my feet as I rushed over. There was a man standing outside, looking up at my window. He was in a dark hoodie with the hood pulled up over his face. When I appeared in the window, he raised his hand in a wave, then turned around and jogged off down the street. I watched him go for a moment, filled with coldness.

“Do you know who that was?” Louis asked me.

  “Justin.”

He shook his head. “I doubt it.”

“Why do you say that?” I asked as he lifted me into his arms and carried me into the living room, setting me on the couch so that I didn’t have to walk through the glass.

“Because I, uh—I spoke to him,” Louis said.

I raised my eyebrows at him, the words not quite registering in my mind.

“You spoke to him?” I said.

He nodded. “I went to tell him to stop vandalizing your place and to stay away from the office. I just—”

“You did what?” I asked, sitting up on the couch, staring at him with wide eyes. “You went to my brother?”

“I just wanted him to stop tormenting you,” Louis said.

“What did he tell you?” I asked him nervously, my heart beginning to race in my chest. Louis stared at me for a moment.

“He told me about what happened with your ex.”

I felt shame well within me, embarrassment as my face grew red.

“You had no right to go and talk to him, Louis,” I hissed at him.

“I know,” he said. “I just—”

“It doesn’t matter,” I spat. I’d never thought that I could get this angry at Louis, and yet the anger was bubbling up within me. The fact he knew what had happened with Jacob—that he’d found out from my brother—was humiliating. “Just go.”

“Victoria…” he said in a soft voice, but he cut himself off when he saw the look on my face. “I’m sorry.”

“Please just go,” I said, unable to look him in the eye. He sighed, leaning forward to kiss my forehead before he got up.

“I’ll see you tomorrow, Victoria,” he said softly, pausing for a moment before leaving me alone in the cold apartment.

  Xavier

I stayed in my office the next day, not venturing out at a
ll. Kelly was out, so it was quiet in my office—almost too quiet. It gave me ample opportunity to think about the night before. Louis’s confession, my urge to touch her afterward, to claim her body. The look on his face when he’d walked in on us together. I knew he was pissed, and he had every right to be—he’d told me that he was in love with Victoria, and I’d been selfish and betrayed him. I hadn’t slept last night, overwhelmed by guilt and anger that was directed only toward myself. I didn’t want to see Victoria or Louis, so I stayed hidden, and didn’t speak to anybody until there was a knock on my door after lunch. It opened, and I saw Louis on the other side. I swallowed hard.

  “Hey,” I said.

“Can I come in?” he asked. I nodded and he closed the door behind him. His eyes met mine and they were cold, angry.

  “Louis…”

“I didn’t come here to talk about you and Victoria.”

“Okay,” I said slowly. “So, what’s up?”

  “There’s a problem. I think she’s in danger.”

  “From whom?”

“I don’t know. It could be her brother, it could be Zachary, it could be someone else. There’s someone in her past who—who hurt her. Somebody who may be after her.”

“Who?” I asked sharply, my body going tense. “Who is it?”

  “An ex,” he said.

“What did he do to her?”

“He hurt her,” was all Louis said. He wasn’t looking at me, but I could feel the tension radiating from him. I hated more than anything that it had come to this—Louis and I had never had a fight, never really disagreed on anything. We were strong business partners and even stronger friends. At least, we had been. I wasn’t sure where we stood now, but if the look on his face was any indication, we were about as far from friends as we could get without being outright enemies.

“Why do you think she might be hurt?” I asked him.

“Somebody broke her window last night. A man. And her apartment has already been broken into.”

“Have you talked to Ash? Asked him to look after her or into one of these guys?”

Louis shook his head. “She doesn’t want me involved. She doesn’t want us involved.”

“So we should stay away from this, Louis,” I said.

“Not if she’s in danger,” he said firmly. “I’m not taking any risks with her. I’m going to put a stop to it. Are you going to help me or not?”

  “Does Victoria know about this?”

  “No,” he said.

  “Louis—”

  “You love her,” Louis said.

I froze, not saying anything, not responding. Thoughts of Tracy flitted through my mind when he said the words, but they didn’t bring as powerful emotions with them as they once had. Instead, they were replaced by Victoria’s face, her smile, the sweet look in her eyes when she came for me, filled with desire.

“What are we going to do about it?” I asked him after a moment.

“We talk to him. Both of us. It should be enough to threaten him into straightening out and leaving her alone.”

“Why didn’t you do this yourself? Be the hero?”

“Because last time I tried to do it myself, I got too angry. I need you there.”

“I’m not exactly the guy you go to in order to keep calm,” I said.

“Xavier, I need your help. Are you going to do this, or not?”

“I don’t know,” I said to him. “What if it’s not the guy?”

  “He—”

There was a knock at the door. Louis and I exchanged a glance.

“Victoria?” I asked him. He shook his head, then went to the door and opened it. “Zachary,” he said in a disdainful voice.

Zachary pushed his way past Louis while straightening his suit, not waiting for an invitation to enter the room. Just the sight of him irritated me—Zachary looked very much like the weasel he was, scrawny and pale and rodent-like.

“Hello,” he said, his nose pointed in the air as he looked down at me. “How are you, gentlemen?”

“What do you want?” I asked him dryly.

“I just wanted to talk to Louis about my case. I thought he might be in here,” Zachary said, giving Louis a snide look. Louis’s eyes were cold and hard as he stared at the boy.

“The Walker case is not yours,” Louis said. “I don’t care what Jeremiah told you.”

“You should care, if you care about Victoria,” Zachary said.

“You will leave Victoria’s name out of your mouth,” I said to him in a warning voice. I didn’t like the implication there—the blatant threat behind his words.

  “Or what?” Zachary asked.

“Or you’re leaving this company. It doesn’t matter what Jeremiah says. The two of us can override him.”

“Like you overrode him on the Baltimore case?” Zachary asked.

I exchanged a glance with Louis, who looked heated as he stood there, angrier than I’d ever seen him. The Baltimore case was something he was still sore about—we’d lost it because of Jeremiah, but the blame had been pinned on Louis and he still hadn’t been able to shake the resulting disapproval and disappointment coming from the board.

“What exactly do you want, Zachary?”

“I want all of the files, all of the information you have. And I want you to take me to meet with Constance Walker.”

“No,” Louis said in a dull voice.

  Zachary raised an eyebrow.

“I don’t think you two are considering the implication of your relationship with Victoria on her future career chances,” Zachary said. “It’s best you just behave and let her stay here. If she’s fired, there’s nowhere else she’ll be able to go. We’ll make sure of that.”

Louis shook his head and I stood up.

“Zachary,” I said. “You need to cut this out. Now. Whatever you’re doing to Victoria—”

“Is what she deserves,” Zachary said. “And besides, a little broken glass never hurt anyone.”

Louis went to him then, grabbing him by the collar. I put my hand on Louis’s arm, shaking my head. For a moment, he only stood there, not looking at me but at Zachary. Then, he let the kid go.

“You threw the rock,” Louis said.

  Zachary gave a smirk.

“I wouldn’t be so sure of that. There are a lot of people that Victoria has pissed off. It could be a number of other men she’s fucked over. Or just fucked.”

Louis lifted his arm, pulling it back to hit Zachary, but I grabbed him and held him tight. His jaw was tense as he stared at the boy with hatred in his eyes.

  “Get out,” Louis snarled.

Zachary snickered. “I’ll be by your office later. Have those files ready for me,” the kid said before leaving.

I held Louis still before he jerked his arm out of my grip.

“So, what do we do?” I asked him.

“We’re going to follow that little creep,” Louis said. “I want to know what he’s up to.”

  “What about the ex?”

“We’ll try him next. Right now, I want to focus on Zachary. I’m going to get that little shit if it’s the last thing I do before I leave here.”

“Before you leave here?” I asked, raising my eyebrows.

He shot a look at me. “I think I’m done,” he said.

  “Louis…”

We’d built this firm from the ground up together. It had always been our dream since before we’d gone to law school, back when we were undergrads and rooming together in the same dorms.

“I’m thinking about it,” he snapped. “In the meantime, we’re hunting that prick down tonight. Are you in or not?”

“What if he doesn’t do anything?”

“He will. He’s obsessed with this. You can tell.”

“Okay,” I said, though I had my doubts. Louis was out for blood and wasn’t thinking clearly, and I could tell just by looking at him he really did need me for backup in this case. He looked almost bloodthirsty, angry in a way that reminded me of myself.r />
“You really do love her, don’t you?” I asked him.

He glared at me. “Come to my office after everybody is gone.”

“Okay, Louis,” I said, feeling a sadness wash over me.

Louis was giving every indication that he wasn’t going to forgive me for what I’d done. It broke my heart, but at the same time, the only thing that I could do was to wait it out and hope he gave me a chance to truly apologize and to hopefully fix our friendship.

  Louis

I ran my hand through my hair, taking a deep breath before knocking on her door. Victoria answered, giving me a dull look when she opened it.

  “What?” she asked.

“Uh, how are you?” I asked her lamely. As usual, my heart was fluttering, doing flips in my chest just looking at her. I hadn’t expected her to show up to work that morning but I’d been half-hoping that she would, that she’d walk in and forgive me for invading her privacy and betraying her trust.

She crossed her arms. “I’m fine. What do you want?”

“Are you coming back to work tomorrow?”

She sighed. “Yes. Is that all? Am I in trouble for missing today?”

A small smile passed over my face. “Not in trouble, no.”

She didn’t smile, only stared at me. “So what is it?”

“I want you to come stay at my house tonight,” I told her.

  She snorted. “No. No way.”

“I have a guest room. You don’t have to sleep with me. We don’t—I just want you to be safe. I don’t think you’re safe here without me.”

“I’m fine. It’s just my brother.”

I shook my head. “I don’t think it is, Victoria.”

“Right. You would know,” she said, rolling her eyes. “I forgot that you’re very well-acquainted with my brother.”

  “Victoria—”

“I’m not coming to your house, Louis. You’re not going to seduce me. Fuck off.”

“I’m not trying to seduce—” I started to say, but she shut the door in my face. Frustrated, I knocked again.

“Go away, Louis. I’ll see you tomorrow at work.”

“Victoria, I’m sorry,” I said to her softly, but she didn’t answer.
