Sardgesha nodded and then he handed it to her.

Regan took the skull and then she looked at Selene. She smiled and said, “The skull isn’t all that Adronis sent me for. Selene my child, you feel all of the immense strange power that you have inside of you now don’t you?”

Selene was looking at Regan’s short red hair and the bright light red flames that danced across the strands and she was so fascinated that she didn’t even hear Regan talk.

Regan laughed and repeated, “Selene my child, you feel all of the immense strange power that you have inside of you now don’t you?”

Selene looked at Regan and she was a little bit embarrassed and said, “Aye I feel it but it doesn’t scare me. I can control it but I don’t understand it. I don’t really know what is happening or how I even got the power.”

Regan said, “The power inside of you is going to keep on growing and growing and growing. You need to be taught how to contain it and how to control the power or you will become a threat to your friends and the whole world. Right now you are like a newborn. Eventually you will be mature and like a god. Adronis asked me to take you to him. He said that he will personally train you and watch over you until the time when you are fully as one of the gods. Once you can completely control your power and thoughts then you can choose for yourself what you want to do. Your options will be endless because you are also an immortal.”

Selene asked, “Can I still come and visit my friends once and a while?”

Regan said, “Of course you can once Adronis knows for sure that you won’t be a danger to them. Let Adronis help you.”

“Can I have yellow fire for hair?” Selene innocently asked. She was fascinated by how Regan’s hair looked. She thought that it looked so cool.

Regan burst out laughing and said, “My dear you can pretty much have whatever that you want!”

“All right I will go with you but I want to say goodbye to everyone first if you don’t mind,” Selene said.

Regan said, “Go ahead. Take your time. When you are done I will send everyone back to their table at the Wet Glass.”

Selene went first to the sorcerers. She hugged Sardgesha and Zardgesha and told them that she would never forget them.

Then Selene went by Bruk and Taran. She looked at Bruk and said, “I owe my whole life to you and I will always remember you and I will never ever forget you!” She then hugged him with tears running down her cheeks.

Selene then looked at Taran and said, “You were my best friend and I will always love you! I will miss you terribly!” She then hugged Taran.

Regan watched Selene as she said her goodbyes. She waited patiently. She thought that Selene would make a very good god in time. She then looked past Bruk and at Nightfall. He was lying in a pool of his own blood. She wondered if she should tell Bruk and then she knew that she couldn’t say anything because it would change the future. She knew different paths that the future might take and only one of them had a happy ending.

Selene finally said that she was ready to leave. She was still crying softly but she was ready.

Regan snapped her finger and Bruk, Taran, Sardgesha, and his brother Zardgesha disappeared. They were sent back to their table at the Wet Glass.

Then Regan snapped her finger and a mirror appeared in her hand. She snapped her finger again and then she told Selene to look into the mirror.

Selene looked at her reflection in the mirror and she screamed out in delight. Her hair was on fire with bright yellow flames to mach her long blonde hair.

Regan then snapped her finger and then she and Selene disappeared!

  Chapter 26

It was early in the afternoon and Salvor was on his way to Tharn. He had been riding steady all morning long and he was tired and hungry. He saw a group of leafy trees surrounded by tall bushes up ahead and he decided to take a break and get out of the sun and get something to eat. Salvor was hungry and thirsty so he made his way to the leafy shelter.

Even though he was in need of nourishment and water he took care of his mounts first. He watered and fed his unicorn and his horse that he used to carry all of his supplies. When he was finished he dug into one of the pouches and soon he was sitting in the shade eating and relaxing. While he ate he thought about Leena. He couldn’t wait to see her again.

Then Salvor felt an extremely powerful magic in the air somewhere off towards his left. He peaked out though the bushes and he gasped in surprise. About thirty yards away people materialized out of nowhere. They just were there all of a sudden where before the area was vacant.

He saw two hot blondes and what appeared to be two old frail looking sorcerers. What had caught his eye and make him gasp were the two other people.

One of them was a young barbarian with long black hair and a tanned body thick with muscles and power. He looked just like the man that had knocked him out and had stolen the ancient magical book from him. But what really surprised him was seeing Nightfall appear!

He watched how everything had played out. The one blonde in the front turned out to be a very powerful mage. She was even stronger in magic than Nightfall was. He watched as she took away all of his magic and he watched as the young barbarian and Nightfall fought each other to the death.

Salvor had never seen such swordplay before in his whole life. He didn’t know much about the use of a sword but he could plainly see that Nightfall wouldn’t last much longer. Then Salvor got a weird idea. He thought about it for a minute and then he made up his mind and waited. He had learned much from those old books and scrolls and he knew what he was capable of. He just had to make sure that he timed everything right or it would be too late. He got himself ready and waited for the right time to come.

He watched everything while he stayed hidden behind the bushes. He watched as the barbarian thrust his sword towards Nightfall’s chest. He said three words right before the blade broke the skin.

He saw Nightfall fall and how the barbarian wiped his sword clean on Nightfall’s shirt. He saw the hot blonde go running into the barbarian’s arms and how they kissed.

He watched and then he gasped again when some nearly naked beautiful woman popped up out of nowhere. She took something from one of the sorcerers and then the woman mage said goodbye to everyone and then they all disappeared.

Then he saw the nearly naked woman with the red fire blazing in her hair do something and then the blonde’s long hair was engulfed in yellow flames. They both then vanished soon after.

Salvor didn’t know what to think about all of what he had just seen take place and it scared him thinking that two women had such strong magical power. They were both even more dangerous than Nightfall was!

After about a half of an hour Salvor was pretty sure that no one was coming back so he left the cover from behind the bushes and he walked towards where Nightfall was lying in the grass.

Soon he was standing right next to Nightfall. He looked down and he wondered if he had said the spell in time. Nightfall looked like he was dead.

Then after a few more minutes just when Salvor was about to walk away Nightfall opened his eyes!

Salvor smiled and looked down. He said, “Hello Nightfall!”

  The End!?
