Chris, Charlotte, and Cole are imprisoned in the nicest jail cell in the world while a new Sharp show was going on. Yet it feels like they are right there as they can watch every second thanks to Griffith's paradise. “They are reenacting the first meeting between your father and Francois Luminare from three years ago.” Cole explains. “I was there and saw the whole thing. Valmont has been trying to work that into the show for a while now. It's almost spot on. It's like watching a video of actual events.”
“Is that so?” Chris is smiling as he watches his father get punched in the face. It was satisfying. He knows that Valmont is a character an an exaggerated version of how his father really is but that egotistical bastard needed to be taken down a peg. “How is Francois doing this?”
“A combination of drugs and hypnosis it allows us to counteract Francois's curse.” Cole looks over at Charlotte who motions that it's okay to continue. “It's risky, a curse is not suppose to be countered that way. When it comes back it will be even worse then before.”
“Last time my father tried something like this,” Charlotte continues from where Cole left off. “When the effects wore off my father fell asleep for seventy two hours.”
“Wait so then they would risk that for this show?” Chris is seeing some major stupidity in this move.
“It's not as dangerous as you think Chris.” Now it is Cole talking “The last time this was done, which was the Chuix show, Francois was active behind the scenes while your father was getting all the glory.” Cole laughs and smiles, “Anyway he was functioning normally for six days due to the drug cocktail and on the seventh he was weakening but still active. At the end of that day he just went to sleep and did not wake up for a while.”
“So he has seven days? Is that enough? I mean do they even expect Thanatos to be stopped by then?”
Cole Shakes his head, “He probably has four or five days. The effects don't last as long and curse always kicks back harder. As for it being enough? Yes, I think Thanatos will be stopped by then. Thanatos will strike with in the next day or two.” Cole says confidently.
“How do you know that?” Chris asks.
“Vargas Thanatos is pretty much a mindless beast now. Your father, Charlotte's father, even mine is shocked that he's able to be this smart and cunning and believes someone else is pulling the strings. And that person is losing control of Thanatos. Thanatos will at your father's door steps soon enough.
After that conversation the three of then watch the rest of the Sharp experience opening show and then move on to different things when that is over. Charlotte after being bugged constantly by Ustence finally decided that yes she would play a game of chess with the old ghost. “I'm no where near as good as Jocasta.”
“You're far more pleasing to look at then that old fool. That makes up for it being an easier challenge.” The hovering spirit replies and he floats over to a table with a marble chess set already set up.
Cole changes the channel to where the X-box is hooked up and starts up another game of Halo, “Hey Chris you can join me.”
“No thanks.” Chris pulls out his lap top computer and after a few minutes checks and sees if ether Jason of Ric have started a Chat room for the current Sharp show, hopefully a private chat room as he is hoping there are not a lot of crazy fans in it. Jason would be good about that but Ric often invites everyone to his chats he says the more the merrier.
Searching though Chat rooms he sees that Ric opened a Chat room. There is a invitation for him as he signs into his account. He accepts.
Chris looks at the names, he notices Ric's Jason's and Sam's but there is a fourth, Bride*Of*Chuix. He does not know who that is.
SharpSon1: “Hi Ric, Hi Jason, hi Sam, hi who ever that is @ Bride*Of*Chuix.”
Bride*of*Chuix: “Hi least original name ever. I'm Alison.”
SharpSon1: “Alison? Hey Ric, why not invite Erik while you were at it?”
Monst3rm4st3r: “What makes you think I invited her.”
SharpSon1: “It's your chat room of course you invaded her.”
Bride*Of*Chuix: “Hey girls I can leave if you want.”
Monst3rm4st3r: “Hey” Chris is not sure if Ric's hey was toward his comment or Alison’s.
SharpSon1: “Just messing with Ric.”
Bride*Of*Chuix: “He's a fun target that's for sure. Anyway Erik? No thanks, people like him ruin Sharp Chat rooms.”
Chris was going to write in an obvious response of “people like him?” but he is beaten to the punch.
EbonySTAR: “People like him?”
Bride*Of*Chuix: “Sharp Haters”
Monst3rm4st3r: “Sharp Haters” They post only a half second after each other with Alison just beating Ric.
Monst3rm4st3r: “:( you beat me.”
EbonySTAR: “I'm not a fan of the Sharp Show ether. It's not bad it's just not something I enjoy. After my recent experience I can't even watch it casually. No offense Chris.”
SharpSon1: “None taken I actually agree with you. These two forced me into the fan club because of who I was.”
Monst3rm4st3r: “And I would do it again. To be the Sharp Monster experience fan club with Chris Sharp as a member. Of course I would force you to join.”
Chris laughs to himself and so he types “hahahahahaha LOL” and sends it.
The 9th Doctor: “Okay okay lets get on to discussing the latest show. That's why we are here after all.”
Monst3rm4st3r: “I'll start.” Ric quickly posts, “That was unpredictable to say the least. I normally don't expect much on opening night. Two words, Francois Luminare.”
EbonySTAR: “Whats the big deal about Luminare? I get he's one of Sharp's most vocal opponents and he disappeared from sight five years ago.”
“Yeah the same time he became my dad's Silent Partner.” Chris mutters to himself but does not say out loud.
Monst3rm4st3r: “A jealous hack.”
Now Chris speaks up, well types up, “He's not a hack, he just hates how my father turned his field of work into a circus. He's not wrong about that.”
Monst3rm4st3r: “He just wishes he came up with it first.”
Chris starts typing a response to Ric when Alison buts in, “Girls girls now is not the time.” There is then a second post, “Yeah I did not see that coming, I knew there were rumors but I did not believe them. I thought Luminare was dead.”
SharpSon1: “Ric and Jason knew he was at the Sharp Manor.”
Bride*Of*Chuix: There is an angry emoticon in front of her text. “And you never told me?” clearly that was aimed at Ric.
Monst3rm4st3r: “Sorry, to be honest I thought it was a joke. I thought Chris was yanking my chain”
Chris laughs and then hears a low beep as a message pops up in his account. *108Destiny wants to be your friend. * Chris has a feeling he knows who this is. And accepts it.
The 9th Doctor: “Whose 108Destiny?”
EbonySTAR: “Yeah he/she just asked to be friends.”
Monst3rm4st3r: “I accepted him/her.” Ric accepts everyone to be his friend. “Now he/she wants in this Chat room.”
SharpSon1: “Let her in”
Monst3rm4st3r: “Her? Who is it?”
SharpSon1: “Just do it please.”
