“I was trying to before you stepped in! Why did you even step in Landon, what do you care huh?”
“I care because you’re like my little sister. You’re lucky it was me and not Trey that stopped that asshole from touching you. He would have lost his shit and you know it.” He’s right, Trey would have done a lot more than just pulling him off of me, but I don’t feel like conceding that he’s right. He’s starting to piss me off, making me feel like that idiot not taking no for an answer was my fault!
“What do you really want Landon, because you’re awfully pissed off for someone who is just protecting me. You aren’t my brother.” He pushes in towards me, pinning me to the tree.
“I know I’m not your fucking brother baby girl, and I don’t want to be.” He leans in close to whisper in my ear making me shiver. “You won’t be off limits to me forever Lil, be careful how you speak to me.” He breathes heavily before pushing off the tree and walking away, leaving me breathing shallow and wondering what the fuck just happened.
