“Shit, man, as I was telling Saint, Sean was kicked out of the club weeks ago. The women that have been harassing your sex shop belonged to him. I recognized them. They’re trying to start a war between our clubs for turf.”
“Fuck! Where would they take her? I’m not leaving my woman alone with them any longer than I have to.”
Pipe was silent on the other line, and Rage was growing more impatient by the second.
“Sorry, I just got one of my men to get Sean’s accounts. He made a purchase on an abandoned warehouse about fifty miles from Sinners’ Corner. I imagine he’d take her there.”
Rage threw the cell phone at Saint, and rushed back toward his bike. He wasn’t surprised when Pea climbed onto his own bike beside him. Penny was his sister-in-law after all, and Pea also wanted to fuck her. “You thinking of offing me when we’re there?” Rage asked.
“No. Look, Penny chose you, okay? She didn’t want me, and wanted nothing to do with me. She’s still my sister-in-law, and I married Melissa. I made a promise to my wife to take care of Penny as much as her. I know my marriage is not everyone’s ideal, but it works for Mel and me. When it comes to Penny, my dick will stay in my pants. I love my club more than getting it wet with my wife’s sister. Penny is in danger, and we’ve got to get her back safely.”
“I’m never going to let Penny go. I will keep her safe from now on.”
“I don’t blame you. Penny is the woman you keep for life. I get that. More than you know, I get that. This isn’t about me. I’m coming with you as a brother to the club, and as her brother by marriage. Your woman, a club woman, has been taken, and we’re coming to get her back.”
Rage watched as the rest of the men who were with him in town, climbed on their bikes.
“Pipe got me directions. This isn’t just about you,” Saint said. “Penny, she’s been good to the club, and none of us are ever going to forget that.”
Nodding, Rage fired up his engine, and straddled his machine. When he got his hands on the fuckers who hurt his woman, he was going to show them exactly why he was called Rage. He only hoped that by the time he was done killing the fuckers, Penny could still look at him afterward.
Saint took the lead as club Prez, and Rage rode to his right. The club had his back, but right now, he couldn’t think about his brothers. His thoughts were on the woman who owned his heart, and the woman he intended to marry with the ring in his pocket.
I’m coming, Penny.
If those fuckers took Penny from him, or made it so his woman didn’t look at him with that sweet smile of hers, he was going to make sure everyone paid dearly for it.
****
Penny’s face hurt, and her lip was split. Whoever said being slammed against a truck wasn’t that bad, was lying. It hurt so damn bad, and her body was so sore.
“So, this is Rage’s little bitch.” The man who’d done all the slamming and punching grabbed the back of her head, and tugged her up.
She screamed out in pain, and hated herself for being so weak. Why did men always go for a woman’s hair?
Why are you thinking about that now?
“Fuck you.”
“Oh, baby, I’m going to fuck you all right. I’m going to wipe all memory of that asshole from your mind.”
He grabbed her breast, and Penny lashed out, slapping her palm against his cheek. It was the wrong thing to do as he threw her to the ground, and slammed his foot into her stomach.
She gasped out, holding onto her stomach as the pain radiated throughout her whole body. Curling into a ball, tears leaked from her eyes, and she thought about Rage.
Come and get me, Rage.
I love you.
There was no doubt in her mind that Rage would come for her. She only hoped that he would make it before this asshole hurt her in ways that couldn’t be repaired.
Biting her lip, she tucked some hair behind her ear, listening as the men argued.
“Sean, man, this wasn’t the plan. You said we were only going to scare the club, make it look like Pipe.”
“What better way to start a war than to take one of their bitches?” The one clearly called Sean, grabbed the jacket from her waist, and held it up. “This is one of the bitches. They’re going to think orders came from Pipe.”
“Not if they call Pipe first,” Penny said.
Before they could dispute what she just said, the truck came to a stop, and the door was opened. The jacket was thrown to the floor of the van, forgotten by the men.
Penny was grabbed, and when she saw the abandoned warehouse, she started to fight them. If she could get away, she’d be fine, and nothing bad was going to happen. Using her nails, she scratched the man holding her, and jammed her knee into another’s dick.
Someone grabbed her hair, and Sean wrapped his hands around her neck, cutting off her air. She clawed at his wrists, trying to get free.
“We’ve got ourselves a little fireball. Come on, boys, I know exactly what to do with this little bitch, and show her what is meant to happen.” She was shoved through the main door of the warehouse, and Sean grabbed her hands, holding them tightly within his.
He shoved her over a table, tugging her hands out in front of her, and over her head. She cried out as cuffs were wrapped around each of her wrists, binding her over the table.
“Let me go!”
She didn’t like how this exposed her, left her vulnerable, and unable to fight.
“Rage will come for you. He’s going to beat the shit out of you, and make you wish you were never fucking born.”
Rage’s jacket being taken from her and thrown to the floor of the van was like a violation to her body.
“I wonder if he’ll fight for a woman who is used goods. There’s five of us, and I bet they could all use a pounding inside this pussy.”
He reached underneath her, unbuttoning her jeans.
“No!” Penny started to pull on her arms, and fight against the hold.
Sean grabbed her hair, tugging her head back. “You’re not getting away until you’re full of our cum, and that fucker will look at you with disgust.”
Rage had never once looked at her with disgust. Looking back, Penny realized that Rage had always looked at her with love, and with lust. Tears spilled from her eyes as she thought about what she was going to lose.
She cried out as her jeans were tugged down her thighs. He didn’t even bother to pull them all the way off, and her panties followed suit. She was sobbing, screaming, and begging for Rage to come to her. Penny didn’t know if she could handle what was about to happen to her.
“Very nice.”
When one of them slapped her ass, Penny gagged, but nothing came up.
I can’t do this.
I can’t do this.
Help me, please, Rage.
She heard the sound of a zipper being lowered, and she tugged her hands from the cuffs, but they wouldn’t budge. She gasped at the pain, and suddenly the men were behind her, and she started screaming once again.
“Scream for this, bitch.”
The door to the warehouse was slammed open, and a gun was fired.
Everything turned to chaos within a matter of seconds, and the man behind her never got the chance to rape her. It was a fight, Sean and his men, against the wrath of the Saints and Sinners MC, and it didn’t look like all of the brothers were even there.
She tried to fight the cuffs, but she couldn’t move. Her naked ass was in the air, and opening her eyes, she watched in shock as she spotted Rage. Penny had never seen him like this before. He was literally in a fit of rage. She should have been sickened by what she was seeing, but she was glad. The men were going to rape her, and use her, and then kill her.
Tears poured from her eyes as Rage jammed his knife into Sean’s neck, and blood started to spill.
Silence fell inside the warehouse, and Penny sobbed.
“Rage,” she said, begging him.
“Shit, baby.”
He moved toward her and place
d his hands over her wrists. They were raw from her fighting to get free, and he cursed.
“I’ll grab the key,” he said.
“Yes, please.”
“I can’t find the fucking key,” he said seconds later, and Penny cried.
“Just handle her, we’ll get the key,” Saint said. She was open and exposed for his club to see, and Penny hated that. Rage came back, and slammed his knife into the link that connected the cuffs to the table that she was tied to. Rage helped her lift up, and she wrapped her arms around him.
“Did they—”
“No, you got here in time.”
He tugged her panties up followed by her jeans. “It’s okay, baby. I’ve got you.”
“They were going to rape me, Rage. They were going to make it so you wouldn’t be able to look at me.”
“Penny, look at me.”
She forced herself to look into his blue eyes. They captivated her, and she started crying just a little bit harder.
“There’s nothing they could have done that would ever stop me from loving you. I love you, Penny, every part of you. They couldn’t take that away from you.”
“I love you,” she said, sobbing.
“Even after what you just witnessed me do.”
She nodded. “They were going to hurt me, and you came for me. I knew you would. I was counting on you taking them out.”
He chuckled. “Always. I’ll always take care of you, and I will always fight for you. You’re my woman, Penny.”
One of his hands released her, and she frowned.
“Tonight, I was going to ask you to be my wife.”
He held a small box between them. Her hands were still cuffed together, and around his neck so she couldn’t open the box. “Will you open it for me?”
“Penny Gilmore, will you marry me?” he asked, showing her the single diamond engagement ring. It was modest, and simple, and it was all hers.
“Yes, I’ll marry you.”
“I got the key,” Pea said.
She stared past Rage’s shoulder at her brother-in-law. He unlocked the cuffs, and she thanked him, giving him a smile. Penny figured she must look a mess. She’d been crying so hard, and there had to be bruises. Her face was in too much pain for there not to be.
Holding her hand out for Rage, she watched as he placed the ring on her finger.
“I love you, baby.”
“I love you, too.”
He wrapped his arms around her.
“The doctor’s back at the clubhouse ready to have a look at Penny,” Saint said, pocketing his cell phone.
“I want the Doc to take a look at you.”
“Okay.” She wasn’t going to argue. Sean had done quite a bit of damage to her, and she was hurting all over. “This is going to be a weird proposal to tell the kids.”
“We’ll make it romantic for them.”
She chuckled and wrapped her arms around Rage’s neck. “Thank you.”
“Baby, you belong to me, and where you go, I will always follow. I told you, the moment you let me inside you, that moment you became mine.” She wore his mark, his jacket, and his ring.
On the way outside, Penny followed Rage to his bike, and stopped, rushing to the back of the truck.
She reached in and grabbed her leather jacket.
“Baby, what are you doing?”
“This jacket is mine, and no one is taking it away from me.” She slid her arms into the leather, and climbed on the back of Rage’s bike, wrapping her arms around his waist as he took her back to the safety of the clubhouse.
Chapter Ten
One week later
The doctor gave Penny the all clear and prescribed her some painkillers in case she needed them for a headache. Rage kept an eye on her, and in the last week she’d been fine. All of her bruises had come out, which only made him damn angry.
After he killed all Sean and his people in the warehouse, Pipe took care of the rest.
“I’m sorry about your woman,” Pipe said.
“I got to her before any permanent damage was done. They beat her, and I wish they were still alive so I could give hurt them once again.” Rage folded his arms over his chest, and stared across the table at the President of the Hell’s Wolves MC. It had been a week of cleaning up mess, and getting their shit in order. The warehouse had been burnt to the ground, and the bodies had been taken care of.
“I didn’t know that Sean was coming to Sinners’ Corner, or what he had planned.” They were back in the neutral territory like they were over a month ago, handling club business. Penny was at the clubhouse surrounded by the old ladies, taking care of her.
“You better keep a tight leash on your club or otherwise I will declare Hell’s Wolves the enemy,” Saint said.
“I’m not looking to make an enemy, Saint. I’ve been weeding out the trash in my club, and what you have before you are the men who are loyal to me, and will not hurt what we’re building.”
Rage looked behind Pipe to see that all the men were indeed loyal to Pipe.
“What happened to the bodies?” Saint asked.
“I handled it. They’re nice and crispy, and have been buried in my backyard,” Pipe said.
“You burnt them?”
“Men who are disloyal to me are burnt, and the women used and discarded. I may be a civil man here, Saint, but how I handle my club is my own business.”
Rage got the message. Pipe was a hard fucker, and he made sure the club knew what was coming to them. Saint had his own way of dealing with traitors who were not loyal to the patch.
They took care of club business, and within the hour he was on his way back to their own clubhouse. Parking his bike next to Saint’s, Rage was anxious to go and see his woman. It had only been a week since the attack, and he hated leaving her.
“You think we’re going to have a problem with Pipe?” he asked.
“Nah. Pipe knows how to handle shits like Sean, and take care of women.”
“He’d kill a woman?”
“Wouldn’t you if they threatened the safety of the club?”
Rage nodded. “I’ve never been put in that position.”
“For both of our sakes, I hope we never are put in that position. I will do a lot for this club, Rage, a damn lot.” Saint slapped him on the back and made his way inside.
Rage walked in, and found his woman on her hands and knees, scrubbing at the floor. He moved behind her, grabbing her around the waist and hauling her up. “What have I told you? We have cleaners to do that shit.” He took the rubber gloves off her hands, followed by the apron she wore. Her hair was bound on top of her head.
“I was tired of being treated like I was fragile. I’m not fragile.”
He stroked a finger down her face where the bruises were still incredibly dark. “I’d say you were still fragile, baby.”
“It’s nothing. I find it hard having everyone ask me if I’m all right. Nothing really happened, not really.”
“You were almost raped.”
“Exactly, almost. I wasn’t actually raped, and you came to my rescue before it happened. I’m not going to break. Yes, it was scary, and no, I don’t want it to happen again. I just, I need to move on, and forget what happened.”
He took hold of her hand, pressing a kiss to the ring he’d placed on her finger. “You’re a strong woman, Penny.”
“I’m your woman.”
“Exactly. You should be planning our wedding.”
“I told you, I don’t want a big affair for my wedding. Something small and casual.”
“Like the woman I love.” He tucked a few strands that had worked loose of her bun behind her ear. “How about I take care of the wedding?”
“You mean that?”
“Yes. I’ll arrange everything, and it’ll be a surprise for you.”
“I’d like that.”
Pressing his head to hers, he released a sigh. “When it comes to you the men all know I’m a pussy anyway.”
She
chuckled and wrapped her arms around his neck. “They should know you’re not a man to be messed with. You send them to me, and I’ll put them in their place.”
He kissed her deeply, and within seconds she was moaning his name, and he was thinking about all the ways he could make her moan for him. Penny hadn’t suffered at night with any nightmares after the attack, and she hadn’t pulled away from him either, which he was thankful for. Rage didn’t know if he could handle Penny pulling away from him.
“I’m just going to have a word with Melissa, and I’ll be right out,” he said, kissing her on the lips.
“You’re not fooling anyone. You plan to organize our wedding, and you’re going to talk to my sister.”
“I know, I’m such a bad man.” He slapped her on the ass, and rubbed over the sting with his palm. “Go and wait by my bike.”
He watched her leave the clubhouse, and made his way over to Melissa.
“Did you talk to Pea?” Melissa asked.
Rage stared at what would be his sister-in-law. “Yes, I talked to Pea.”
He had spoken to Pea just after the attack on Penny. Wallace, prior to Melissa sleeping with him, had been trying to shut the club down, and find some kind of charge to get them out of town. With Melissa screwing him, and him being married, it was providing the club with some much needed rest from prying eyes. Saint was also up to speed on what was happening, and was also working an angle so that Melissa didn’t have to fuck Wallace much longer.
“Good. We’re good then?”
“I don’t like it, but I understand it. Put it this way, I’m not going to interfere with you and Pea, so I expect the same courtesy to me and Penny.”
“Speaking of, when are you two going to tie the knot? I know you proposed to her, and I’ve been waiting for her to come to me for help.”
“The wedding is too much for her. She’s not prepared for planning for a wedding.”
“I was waiting for that, too.”
“I’m going to organize it.”
