I can’t believe this series is at an end. What started as a fun side project quickly turned into the defining part of my life for two years, and I have met so many great people and learned so much because of it. Every character was a beautiful challenge, and every one of their stories allowed me to tap into a different part of myself. I am so grateful for the experience and for those of you who came along with me.

Of course, these books never would have become what they are if not for the people who helped me get there, so this book is dedicated to all of you:

To Sue Archer, my editor, my grounding force. You were the one who gave me the confidence to get through the earliest drafts of each book, knowing your red pen would be there to catch me if I faltered. You helped me grow as an author, and I know I’m walking away from this series stronger because of it.

To Ravven, my cover artist. It can be so frustrating to see characters in my head I know I’ll never come face-to-face with in the real world, but your work on these covers brought me one step closer to them. You brought them to life, just as much a magic worker as the characters themselves.

To my beta readers, Tina Miles, Adam Couturier, Shannon Martin, Krista Jasper, Narayan Baril. Thank you for catching those last-minute things that would have led to later embarrassing face-palms. Also a huge thank you to Brittany Day, for once again helping me make sure Molly was the strongest character she could be.

To Kate Sparkes, my touchstone and cheerleader. You help me take the building blocks of my original ideas and mould them into something durable and lasting, on the page and off.

To my husband, Chris Reddie. The fact that reading these books has inspired you to create some incredible work of your own never fails to make me smile and believe I’m doing something right. You are the perfect partner-in-crime, and I couldn’t feel luckier to have you rooting for me.

To my parents. Twelve books in, and never once have you asked me when I’m going to “grow up and get a real job,” for which I am eternally grateful. Your support is one of the big reasons I’m still going, and why I feel I might really make a go at this whole “author” thing.

And to you again, my readers. A seven-book series is a real commitment of time and mental energy, but you made it worthwhile to press forward. If not for you, Allegra might never have discovered she has a thing we call a heart. Gabe and Vera might never have found each other again. Zach might have been miserable and alone for the rest of his life. Thanks to you, they’ve all become better than they were in Jermaine’s locked room, so give yourself some credit.

I don’t know where the Invisible Entente will go from here, but we can be hopeful that they each have a happy-ish ending. As for me? I think I’m up for the next challenge. I hope to see you there.
