“Oh, I know, but it’s not necessary. I’ve waited this long for you, I can wait a few more days.”
“But I can’t.”
Summer ran the fingertips of her right hand down the span of his broad chest. Devon closed his eyes and shivered his jaw tightening. Summer was thrilled by his response. She leaned down, kissed his forehead, his nose, then captured his mouth in a passionate kiss that left no doubt about what she wanted.
Devon flipped Summer onto her back so fast it felt like magic. He gazed into her eyes and said, “You have no idea how bad I want you. How much I’ve missed you.”
Summer swiveled her hips against his hard erection, gifted him with a slow sexy smile and said, “I think I do, but feel free to show me.”
Devon ran his finger under the spaghetti straps of her gown kissing and tasting her skin as he pushed each one off her shoulder. He removed her clothing and tossed it to the floor. Devon quickly stripped off his pajama bottoms tossing them next to Summer’s. Summer’s eyes roamed his body, and she bit her bottom lip. A low guttural sound escaped Devon’s throat as he kissed and licked the length of her body, enjoying the taste of her skin, before returning to her mouth. Devon lavished her entire body with all the love he felt for her.
Devon intertwined his hands and held them at her head. He stared into her eyes and whispered “I love you” as he entered her body. Summer could hardly catch her breath between his thrusts. “Devon, I love you, too. It’s never been like this.”
This was slow lovemaking, neither rushing to completion. They took their time and enjoyed the sensation of being together again. Summer climaxed first, and Devon followed right behind. Both sated, they lay in each other’s arms, catching their breath.
Two weeks later the couple married at the courthouse with Judge Waters, his wife, and Summer’s father as witnesses. No one else was needed for them to speak the words that had always been in their hearts. They vowed to love each other for eternity.
