"Take my brother and put him in the tower," he ordered. Warriors were on Jarith quickly, with many of them grabbing his arms and legs.
"Jarith! What the hell is going on?!" I shouted.
"Traydon! What the fuck are you doing?! Let me go!" Jarith shouted at him.
"Oh, my dumb brother. While you were busy bedding this human and sulking about father’s constant nagging for you to become a good king, I was planning. I planned a rebellion."
"What is going on here? Where is father?" Jarith asked.
"I killed him. I am king now," Traydon said, leaning toward Jarith. I gasped in shock.
Jarith growled and lunged at Traydon.
"Now! Don't let him shift!" Traydon shouted and a warrior shocked Jarith. It was a Taser of sorts. Jarith went unconscious and fell into the arms of the warriors. They carried him out of my room. I was so shocked and speechless. This was insanity.
"Don't you worry, Marissa," Traydon said to me as he moved toward the bed. Then he continued, "I was hoping that I would not have to take you as a wife after you had been spoiled by my brother, but it seems that I am too late. Still, my father was right about taking a human female wife with intelligence that is able to co-rule at my side. You are perfect for that. I will make you my queen. In three days, we shall be married."
"What?! No! I want to go back to Earth! What is going to happen to your brother?" I rambled on. Traydon just looked at me. He didn't answer. He walked over to me and slipped a gem bracelet on my wrist, it snapped and locked into place. "Never take that off, Marissa. It means you are mine now."
He followed his warriors out of the door. How could this be happening? Did he really murder his father the king? There was no way that the Drackon would allow this to happen. There would be an uprising in the streets. I quickly wrapped a sheet around my naked body and ran out onto the veranda. I looked over the city. It seemed quiet. In fact, it was too quiet. There were no Drackon flying in the air. Everyone seemed to have their windows shut and lights off. It was as if everyone had gone into hiding; everyone was scared of the evil brother that had lost his mind.
For two days, I quietly waited. I did not want to bring unwanted attention to myself. I had to get out of this marriage. I needed to go back to Earth. I needed to free Jarith. I was one person against many dragons. It was impossible. I sat in a blue dress on the veranda, staring out at the dark sky. I looked at the bracelet that was on my wrist. I tried countless times to take it off, but I could not. I did not want anything from the crazy brother.
Tears fell from my eyes. How did things go so wrong so quickly? I was stuck here, thousands of light years away from my home planet. The only friend I had was locked in the castle towers in prison—that's if he was still alive. If Traydon was crazy enough to kill his father, then I was sure that he would dispose of his brother very quickly. That thought made me cry harder. Just when I had allowed myself to give myself to a male in love for the first time, he was taken away.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
I felt the wind of wings surround me. I looked up and saw Jarith hovering above me. He landed, setting his feet down on the veranda. I was in shock. Was I dreaming?
"How? How are you here?" I asked him. He put his finger to his lips and said, "Shhh… we don't have much time. Wrap yourself around me."
Even in the moment of danger, those words were very romantic to me. He grabbed my arms and placed my hands behind his neck. He put his hands underneath my bottom and picked me up. I wrapped my legs around his waist. I laid my face flat against the hard, shiny scales on his chest. He held me to him, carrying me as he took flight off the veranda. It was scary and thrilling, but I would do anything to get out of the castle and out of a marriage to Traydon.
He flew straight up high into the sky, into the darkness. I opened my eyes and looked out; the stars gleamed and twinkled brightly. I was flying very high and it was a beautiful sensation. I held on tighter, afraid to fall from such a height. Jarith must've felt my fear because he whispered in my ear, "Do not worry, Marissa. I would never let you fall."
I squeezed him tighter but not out of fear: out of love. Now he was flying horizontally across the mountaintops and over a forest. I did not know this planet and I did not know where we were going. I did not know how he got away. But I did not care; I felt safe in his arms as he flew. It was such a thrilling sensation to be flying, and I was envious that the Drackon did this regularly.
Finally, a large, green field came into view at the edge of the forest. Jarith began to descent toward the field and landed. I looked up into his eyes as he set my feet on the grass. He leaned in and kissed me. He kissed me hard and aggressively; I kissed him back with passion, longing, and fear.
Chapter 8
PRINCE JARITH RYKOR
When I woke up, I knew exactly where I was. I was in the tower for prisoners, high in the castle. I was groggy and everything hit me at once.
"Shit. Traydon. You bastard. Wait till I get my hands on you," I said as I stood up.
I moved to the door and peered out of the bars; there were no guards. There was no need for them. These prison cells were inescapable. There was only one way out, and that meant having the key. I moved to the small window that looked out over the city; the city was quiet. The window was very small, designed for shifters. Even if I shifted into a dragon, I could not fly out of there.
It was hard to believe that my father was gone. But it was not hard to believe that Traydon would do such a thing. He wanted the throne badly. I did not know that he had been planning a mutiny in such a way that he had forces on his side. I had to get out of there.
I looked out at the city. The Drackon were expecting a civil war, and they were right. Then something caught my eye; it was a light blinking off and on. As I paid attention to it, I realized that it was a signal. It was a signal that I used with Lieutenant Axon when we would go on flying missions in battle. I understood the message loud and clear; he was coming for me. I made myself ready for a rescue at any moment. Finally, four hours later, he came.
Boom! I looked out the door to see that the control panel on the prison cell had been busted. Sparks flew from it. Axon stood there with a sledge hammer in his hand. Then he grabbed the loose wires from the control panel and rewired it. The door opened and I ran out.
"Prince Jarith. Are you all right? Are you hurt? Can you shift?" he asked quickly.
"I am not hurt. We do not have time. Are there forces loyal to my cause?" I asked him.
"Yes, more than half."
"Good. Have them quickly leave the city and meet at Diamond Point. Do you remember where that is?" I asked him as we ran quickly to the nearest window and opened it. We both shifted.
"Yes, I remember very well," Axon said.
"Good, I will meet you there. I have one, quick thing to take care of. Go!" I said. We both flew out the window, he to my warriors, and I to my lover, Marissa.
After I rescued her and took her to Diamond Point, I finally allowed myself to breathe, and to grieve. My father was dead. I walked with Marissa toward the tree line and saw that almost two thousand warriors had gathered. I left Marissa’s side and flew up to a boulder overlooking the warriors.
"Warriors! A mutiny is upon us! My treacherous brother, Traydon, has murdered your king! He is mad! Will we let him get away with this and take the throne?!"
"No!" they shouted in unison.
"Will you fight with me?! Will you fight for what is right?!"
"Yes!"
"I am mad as hell! My father has been murdered! Your king has been murdered by his own son! Traydon must pay, and all those who serve him must pay! Tomorrow, we fight!"
There was an uproar of cheers and anger. The warriors were just as pissed off as I was. I put my fist in the air and the warriors punched the air with me in solidarity. We were going to destroy my brother.
I flew down to Lieutenant Axon, who was at Marissa side. "Axon, tell me everything. Can we take the castle back?"
"You know bette
r than anyone that the castle is impenetrable. And over hundreds of years, no one has ever been able to take it; your brother and his warriors are safe in there."
I looked at Marissa and saw her fiddling with the bracelet on her wrist. I recognized it immediately. "Marissa, did my brother give you that bracelet?"
"Yes, I'm sorry. I have tried to take it off every day. You must know that I do not want anything that he has given me," she pleaded with me.
I looked at Axon; we both smiled. "It is a tracking device. Maybe we do not need to attack the castle. Let's draw him out here, where it will be an equal fight. No fortress to hide behind. He will come for her," I said to Axon.
"He might not know that we have the forces with us. He might think that it is you and the female only, running for your lives. We may be able to surprise attack. We will use her as bait," Axon said.
"What?! You will use me as what?!" Marissa shouted.
I moved to her and took her hands in my hands. It will only be for a short while, and I will be very close by; nothing will happen to you. I assure you that. It might be our only chance to defeat Traydon."
She was very quiet for a long time and looked at me with fear in her eyes. Then she stood straighter, breathing in confidence and courage. "I will do it,” she said.
"Tell the warriors our plan. Prepare for ambush," I said to Axon. He nodded and saluted me with a smile and went into action.
I picked her up into my arms and took off into flight. I knew this area well because Axon and I used to use it as a training ground for flying. We would practice diving between the tall cliffs. It was a dangerous place, but good training. Because we knew it well, it was a good place for battle. Now, I knew another place, a secret ledge high above the green, diamond field and forest of trees. I flew straight there with Marissa in my arms now. It was a very long and wide ledge.
“This is beautiful,” she said as I set her down and she looked around.
“Yes, it is on of my favorite places. It’s a beautiful view, and it is very private.”
I moved away from her.
“Where are you going?” she asked.
“Just stay there,” I said as I moved from her and then shifted back to normal form.
“That was amazing,” she said as she watched.
“Is it? It is normal for us,” I said as I moved toward her and held her in my arms. She was so petite, and she looked up at me and stood on tiptoes to reach me.
“I am sorry about your father. You must be devastated,” she said.
“I am. The grief is strong. But the hate for my brother is even stronger. I can’t allow myself to grieve now. I have to stay clear to defeat my brother. Only when I have reclaimed the throne will I give myself time to grieve my father. For now, I will seek vengeance for my father.”
“I understand. This has all been so much for me. I am a strong woman. I am tough. I am smart and can lead a business, but this is so different. It is a lot to take in. Being held captive and fearing a wedding to your brother.”
“He wanted to marry you?” I said in shock.
“Yes. I thought you knew. He wanted to claim me as a wife. He said it was the king’s wish for good relations with Earth to have a human female wife. He was going to force me to marry him.”
“I am glad that I escaped before that happened. Did he touch you?”
“No. He did not,” she said. I eyed her suspiciously, not knowing if she would tell me the truth or not.
“He did not,” she said again.
I kissed her as the rage of thinking about him touching her filled me. I could not deal with that. It was the same jealousy I had felt when I watched her with the human male through her window on Earth. How I longed to be the one under her at that moment.
“I want you to straddle me the way you did that human male on Earth.”
Her eyes grew wide and then she laughed, “That’s what you’re thinking about?”
“Yes. What do you say, Marissa? Grant me this wish before battle?”
“I can try, but you are so large, Jarith. I am not sure if I can,” she said. Once again, I forgot about the delicacy and the smallness of the human females. I did not want to hurt her. I had already put her through so much. She kissed me and then said, “Lay down, my dragon prince.”
I smiled and lay down on the grassy ledge. She kissed my lips as she hovered over me on all fours in her dress. “I never thought I would hear a Drackon say he wanted to be treated like a human male,” she laughed.
“Only in this instance,” I said laughing. She kissed my bare chest. I was glad that I shifted back to normal Drackon so that she could enjoy my body without the hard scales and wings. It would be easier for her, and safer. She licked down my chest and stomach and I pushed my deters off down to my ankles. She moaned and put my hard cock in her hand.
“You’re so hard already,” she said.
“It’s you, Marissa. You turn me on more than any female I have ever known.”
“Good. Cause this is mine,” she said grabbing my cock firmer in her hand. I laughed at her playfulness. She was a strong human female and I liked it. Then she lowered her head. I sucked in a sharp breath of air as she licked the tip of my cock. She swirled her tongue on top of it. Then she pushed her mouth closed and down my hard staff.
“Oh yes, Marissa, that feels so good,” I moaned. She moved her lips up and down my cock. It was a nice surprise. I had not asked for it, but she was giving me this wonderful gift. She licked and sucked with skill and I thought I was on the brink. I pulled her up and said, “You have to stop or I’m going to explode. I want to be inside of you. Get on top of me.”
“Yes, my prince,” she said seductively. She stood up beside me and untied her dress. It fell to the ground. Her body was perfect. Her skin was smooth and tight. Her long, brown hair fell over her breasts, hiding them from me in an enticing way. Then she smiled and said, “Are you ready for me to ride you, dragon?”
I laughed and said, “Don’t I look ready?” as I looked down at my hard cock standing straight up.
“Yes, you do,” she said. She placed her feet on either side of my hips and then lowered her body over mine. She placed the tip of my cock inside of her and slowly lowered herself just a bit.
“Yes. I’ve wanted to see this for so long,” I moaned out the words. Ever since I saw her doing this in the window, I wanted her to do it to me. It was a fantasy coming true.
She stopped and looked at me and said, “I didn’t know you thought of me so often.”
The smile faded from my face, as I knew that my promiscuous ways had left me unable to truly tell a female how I felt because I had never felt in love before. “I am sorry for that. You should know that I am always thinking of you, always.”
She smiled and then began to move lower on my cock. She sucked in air as she moved down. I grabbed her waist, helping her and holding her up. Then she moved lower and lower until she was sitting flush on my hips. I moaned as she took all of me in.
“You feel so good, Marissa. Looking at you right now is so fucking hot.”
“Yes, you are so deep inside of me. It feels really good,” she whispered. Then she moved up and down on top of me. She bounced and her tits jiggled as she did so. It was almost too much to handle for me. Then she screamed out in ecstasy, “I’m coming Jarith.”
I felt her warmth, and only seconds later, I was joining her in release.
Chapter 9
MARISSA VOLANDER
In this moment, I knew that I loved Jarith. How did I know? Because I was in a torn dress sitting in the middle of a field at noon by myself, acting as bait.
Who would do such a thing, if they were not in love? I had set myself up as bait for Traydon and his army to come and get me. To steal me away from Jarith. I was very nervous and my stomach hurt. How did I go from being the CEO of a very powerful corporation on Earth to playing the damsel in distress in a field? I never saw this in my future. This was the complete opposite of what I saw for myself.
Everything I had worked for.
I looked back toward the tree line. The warriors, with swords and shields, were in dragon form. They hid in the branches of the trees using the leaves as cover. I looked at Jarith. He put his hand over his heart as he looked at me. Then a warrior flew down from the sky and talked directly to Jarith. Jarith looked at me and held up his hand in the signal that he had showed me. He put his hand flat on top of his head. This was to signal for me to get ready because there was a weredragon flying down upon my head at any second.
My eyes grew wide; it was happening. I looked up into the sky and saw one weredragon coming into view from the distance. I could only assume it was Traydon coming for me. I had no idea that the bracelet I wore was a tracking device, but it would make sense. Everything that the Drackon had looked like antiques but hid an advanced, technological system. Looking up at the sky, Traydon was now closer. He saw that I was looking at him and to make it seem real, I stood up and screamed. Then I ran across the field, but did not get far at all.
