And he said it back to her, sure of her now. Sure of the both of them together. The power and the magic of it.

He had a ring in a little box buried deep in his sock drawer where she never ventured. It held a golden diamond surrounded by more diamonds cut into triangles. It looked like a sun to him. He was waiting. Someday soon he would give it to her and ask her to marry him, so he could keep her forever, and she could keep him.

He snuggled Sandy a little closer at the thought. “Mah mah,” she said, laying her head on his shoulder, and he smiled.

  The Seduction of Suzanne

What are you to do when a gorgeous, idle surfer wants your body? When his handsome face and incredible physique heat your blood, even though you know he'll soon be gone on another adventure?

And if you've learned not to trust your own desires, what then? Can you set aside wisdom and rationality and enjoy a passionate affair with him, learn the feeling of his big, knowing hands on your body and never count the cost? Can you let his wicked words and kisses lure you into his arms, and his bed?

"Oh, and I suppose I should let you decide my holiday itinerary to maximize my quotient of fun?" she said in a tone rich with sarcasm.

"I might do a better job of it."

"For your information when I go home alone in ten minutes I will have the most intense delight imaginable all by myself."

"The most intense delight? All by yourself?" He purred the words back at her and the look he gave her was both speculative and hot enough to scorch her down to her toes. She replayed her own words and felt her heart trip faster. She raised her chin and narrowed her eyes, looking coolly down her nose at him.

  "You better believe it, sunshine."

"I do. Yet a gentleman always offers to lend a lady a hand if he thinks he might be of use to her."
