Especially Knight.
He had the brightest smile on his face as they swayed across the dancefloor during their first dance as husband and wife. Every so often he’d rub her belly and whisper something in her ear that would make her smile and grip his shoulder.
I was happy for my big brother. Happy that he’d finally let her in. Let love in. Allowed himself to feel. Removed the numbing pain and guilt and hurt that had been consuming him for years.
This was just the beginning for them, and I couldn’t wait to watch their love unfold.
